Olympic SPA Hotel (Vigo di Fassa, Alps / Dolomites) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Established by the Pellegrin family in 1963 as a small guest house, the Olympic SPA Hotel remains in the family — members of three generations welcome new arrivals in traditional clothing, serving regional cuisine like Alpine cheese and Trentino apple strudel, and speaking Ladin, a romance language spoken in the Dolomite mountains. The family can also help organize an encyclopedic range of activities, no matter the season. In summer, guests can take advantage of a free mountain bike hire, go on a high-altitude photography excursion, or take a rafting trip along the Avisio stream. During winter, skis and equipment can be hired directly from the hotel." - Tablet Hotels

We stayed here for one night after our 4 day hut to hut hike in the Rosengarten area. We could not have asked for more. I wish we had stayed there several nights. The staff was so helpful planning logistics of our trip, letting us leave our car in the parking lot for the duration of our hike, stowing our luggage for the 4 days we were hiking prior to our stay, helping us plan the logistics of getting to our starting point with a local gondola and understanding the bus system to plan our return since we started and ended our hike in different areas. They even gave us a bus pass with free rides. Absolutely above and beyond. The facilities themselves were fantastic. We booked massages for after the hike and they were wonderful. The spa has 7 or so different saunas and steam rooms to try. We spent hours in the spa after our hike. It was divine. The dinner was delicious. Breakfast was top tier - the best I experienced in Italy on my 3 week trip. This place is a 100/10. Would absolutely stay here again if we were in the area.

Our stay at the Olympic Spa Hotel was an incredible experience from start to finish. We stayed in one of the “Natural Suites” and can confidently say it was worth it. Every detail in the room was beautifully considered, and it felt like a seamless extension of the stunning mountain surroundings. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. Marta gave us a genuinely kind and informative introduction to the hotel, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. You can tell the team takes real pride in how they serve their guests. The hotel is flawlessly maintained and everything feels intentional. After the first day, it was as if the staff already knew us. They remembered what we liked, anticipated needs before we voiced them, and struck the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. We spent our days doing long hikes and bike rides in the Dolomites, and it was such a treat to come back to the hotel in the evenings. Whether relaxing in the spa or enjoying a quiet moment on the terrace, we felt completely taken care of. The food was another highlight. Every meal was fresh, well thought out, and delicious. What really stood out were the thoughtful little touches. There’s a sense that someone has walked through every guest experience and asked, “How could we make this even better?” And then they did. We left feeling rested, cared for, and grateful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Olympic Spa Hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional mountain getaway. It’s a place where you can feel both at home and completely transported.

A beautiful hotel and spa nestled into the Dolomite mountains. Spectacular views, a great spa program, great rooms, and friendly welcoming staff. There is a dynamic fixed dinner menu every evening prepared by the chef. I highly recommend that experience. This is our third stay here in the past 12 years and it continues to get better and better. A great base for a week of hiking in the mountains.

The best hotel I've ever stayed at. From the second you walk through the door you feel looked after, the staff are so helpful and friendly. We were half board for a week, it would be worth coming here for the food alone! 6 courses of gourmet food every night and to top it off they made everything GF and vegan for me, very talented chef. Then....the spa.....I can't describe how wonderful the spa is 🫠 I'm still not sure we used all the saunas and other rooms available. The hotel is immaculate and very comfortable, absolutely no downsides to this place. Easy to get to the slopes with the bus stop outside and there is a cross country ski that goes right past the back door. We will come back here one day! Thank you to all the wonderful staff 🥰

Great facilities, excellent food, great spa. Reasonable rates, fairly easy to get to surrounding areas for skiing, restaurants, bus service takes a bit to figure out and ended up using taxis to get back to the hotel from skiing most days. The breakfast was excellent as well as the restaurant for dinner. It’s quiet, and a bit out of the way for exploring other villages. The spa facilities were excellent and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Would go back in a heartbeat.

So just to start, there is a reason the reviews are so good! But let me elaborate…||Went for a week with my partner and we both loved the Olympic hotel. All the basics are in, very clean, comfortable, and the things that you would expect. What sets it apart are the staff and the facilities. ||As an example we where running late on the first day and had missed dinner but knew this and had not expected to eat, I got a call from the hotel while on my way and they said they would make up food even though the kitchen closes, what a lovely thing to do! ||When you are there the staff ask you what table you would like and then keep it for you for the rest of your stay, again a lovely touch and if you don’t finish your drinks the keep the bottle of the next night. The staff were always lovely, polite and engaging and nothing is too much trouble. |||The food is amazing and I genuinely enjoyed every meal. Breakfast was well covered with a great choice as well as hot options on request. ||Fantastic Spa, super clean and lots of options. Treatments are available at additional cost, we had the sports massage and it was great!||Loved our room, it had a sliding door separating the 2 rooms and providing privacy. We where on the road side and some reviews have mention its noisy, I didn’t think so and actually had the sliding door open as I like it cold and didn’t have a problem but if you are a light sleeper you might want to consider this. ||The lounge bar was nice and the provide cards and board games for you to play while having drinks, another nice touch. ||Most Ski lifts are about 15 mins by car. You can get a bus but I personally wouldn’t as it looks like a bit of a pain. Ski was great, if you are a beginner I wouldn’t go straight to Sella Ronda as it can be challenging i’d start at somewhere like Carezza. Plenty of maps and info in reception. |||As way of feedback I think one thing id like to see would be soft drinks included in the half board price even if that ment putting the price up slightly it would just make things easier and more transparent. The other small thing is the cocktail menu could do with an update and some new additions. Just small points but would make a nice difference. |||Will I be going back? Absolutely! We have a great time and can’t wait to stay again.

This hotel is so beautiful, cozy, and welcoming. The spa is lovely. The restaurant was excellent - local ingredients highlighting cuisine of the area and executed in a modern fashion. Proximity to great hikes makes this spot so convenient - especially to hit the spa immediately after. The highlight was the team - Paula, Andrea, and Lorenzo made our stay so so so special. They were so hospitable with great personality. We will definitely be staying here again. Can’t say thank you enough!

We arrived a couple of friends for a ski vacation. From the moment of booking till the moment we left we were taken care of by a great and welcoming staff. The hotel is a family run hotel so everything looks as if the guests feel comfortable. The rooms are big and clean, the breakfast is great (we didn’t eat dinner but we were impressed by the menu). Last but not least the spa is a big wow!!! You will find it’s worth every penny….special thanks to our host - Rosa 🙏🏻
