OM Ganesh Hostel

I didn’t need a place to stay. I just went in to ask what the prices were. The owner was very rude. It seemed like he was super annoyed that I even came in asking questions. He quoted me 1000 baht per night just to be a jerk and get me to leave. There is no way this place is worth that. I had already found a much nicer place with very nice staff for 200 baht per night. I wouldn't stay here for free. The only reason I went in was because I was curious what such a run-down looking hostel would cost.

Stayed here for the full moon party and the few days after. Amazing vibe for the party with lots of music, face paint, drinking games etc. The few days after were great for chilling. We rented bikes from the hostel as well and this was really good fun. So easy and simple to rent and the staff at the hostel are super friendly and helpful. One of our friends was ill and a staff member took them to a near by clinic in the middle of the night. Would stay again for sure!

This hostel was great for the full moon party. They made sure guests felt safe and provided wrist bands to prevent non guests from entering. The lockers were good and the fact the room could be locked. On the night before the full moon party they provide a free dinner of curry which was honestly fantastic, they also own a restaurant on the strip so that would be worth checking out too! Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hostel provided free paint for the party and a free bucket (terribly weak though). Would definitely use again if going back to full moon party another year!

The service was great. Special thanks to the owner who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Less than a 10 min walk to the full moon party. Close to good restaurants, the sea and 7/11. Only downside is the toilets and showers being a floor below the rooms. Would stay here again! It was an enjoyable stay.

Friendly staff, good location, an easy walk from the full moon party beach and opposite 7/11. Bike rental right out in front. The beds have very little privacy next to one another so if you're not next to someone you know it could get a little awkward. They are with an Indian restaurant nearby and offer a free Indian buffet + free bucket the night before the full moon party which was really good quality and a really nice touch. The building is not in a new condition. But it is very well maintained with the showers and toilets kept in very good condition. The air conditioning worked very well and they let you control it yourself which not everywhere does. If I stayed for full moon party again I would definitely come here.

I've stayed at this hostel 6 times now over the years for various things, but its consistently great. It is pretty basic, but the beds are comfortable, wifi is everywhere, and it's run by good people who treat you like family. Location is close to the Haad Rin pier and 5 min walk barely from the main beach so its close enough and far enough. convenience store across the street, atms and their own store plus amazing restaurant of the same name. You can rent bikes too. I'm not sure why people dont flock to this hostel and choose other "party" places, but it's just all around good and chill.

I stayed during the full moon so it was a bit pricier than that what I am accustomed for a dorm in Thailand, but the location was worth it. The dorm is good and has curtains. There was free instant coffee and tea at all times, and a free bucket (+paint) during the full moon party. The staff was friendly !

Were so glad we decided to book here for 3 nights for the full moon party. They work so hard so everyone can have a good time. They made a huge free buffet for us the night before the full moon which was absolutely delicious. They also give you a free bucket with free body paint. There are hot and cold showers and plenty of bathrooms and they keep everything really clean. This is definitely the place to be!!!!! Highly recommend it.
