Do not stay here if you want to sleep!!!! I understand having music at night and that is nice. But at 6am!! They are playing the music at full blast! There is no reason to shake the whole building as soon as the sun comes up! It's a beautiful place. Nice room, comfortable. But seriously, if you have music until midnight then let people sleep some. There is no one even here to listen to the music! Absolutely terrible experience. Find somewhere else and make sure it isn't across the street because you would Still hear the music!!

We spent three nights in this beautifully appointed and very good value heritage hotel that is very well located to a number of sights within Solo. I loved the old furnishings and the attention to detail of their rooms. Staff were very helpful with good English and helped us a lot with understanding how to take the local commuter train to Yogyakarta. I’d certainly return here next time I’m in Solo.

A heritage hotel with traditional decoration. The room was very clean as well as the bathroom. No lift and the parking service can be improved. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is great, walking distance to food shops and just across to Mangkunegaran palace.

We loved our 4 night stay at this hotel. The rooms were traditional in their decor, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure was strong and hot. Chris was super helpful and made recommendations for things to do and places to eat. If we return to Solo, for sure this would be the hotel to stay at again. Highly recommended for a pleasant stay in Solo.

A one stop destination in the heart of Solo within walking distance to Puro Mangkunegaran and savour the local scenery. Food is tasty enough with quite range selection western and indonesian food. We opted for recommend Nasi Sego Sriwedari , recommended this as you get the all the dishes in one plate and Mie Goreng Priyayi , comes in large portion, great for sharing.

First of all, I love the ambience and the drinks. The coffee was good. BUTTTTTT…. 2nd, Me and my friends wait for 45minutes for our foods. And the last 45minutes, the waiter just inform to us that they have problem with their gas. The hospitality is bad. 3rd, I don’t know who is incharge in the open kitchen. There’s a young women, doesn’t have any manner while they testing the food. They not use the handgloves (testing the food with barehand) Overall, if you have other choice, please don’t go to this place. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

We had dinner here to try the locals' fave food and it was not bad. This place was recommended by the locals saying this is either owned by the President Jokowi or this is his fave restaurant when he is around. I don't remember exactly, but the food is good indeed. Solo food portion is small and on the sweeter or spicier side. What I like about it is that it give you opportunity to try something else since the portion is not for NBA players. We got to try the super duper sweet dessert afterwards. The service is nice as the people here are soft-spoken and well mannered, the best part of this area. The best part of Indonesians and it should be like this everywhere. We had a nice dinner with the locals and visitors and that is the best part of any trip.

Nice transit hotel with a public live-music cafe. It would be perfect if it has a parking lot.
