Omena Hotel

The room was clean, tidy, and surprisingly spacious and most importantly, it was very affordable. It was much better than I expected. The toilet in the room is set up like a small "booth" but everything is new, clean, and well maintained. While booking, I had read some negative reviews about the beds, especially regarding the type of mattress, but I personally found it very comfortable. The room also includes a microwave and a kettle. Considering the price, location, and overall quality, I think this hotel is just perfect!

Basic amenities but very clean, affordable and centrally located. Mere minutes (in some cases, steps) away from many, many places to visit, restaurants, pubs and bars, cafés, interesting shops... I would definitely recommend this hotel for shorter stays, or longer ones if you don't mind eating out often: rooms are furnished with a small fridge, a microwave and an electric kettle.

This is a self-service hotel. A door code is sent to you before arrival. It's in a great location, with nearby restaurants and a convenience store across the street. Very close to Stockmann mall, Trams available about 2 streets away. I requested for tea and I found a generous amount of tea bags waiting for me. They also have a microwave, a mini fridge and electric kettle. The only problem was the bed. It wasn't comfortable for me. But if you are on a low budget, this is the best place to be.

This place has a number of bad reviews but I personally had a pleasant stay and would recommend you stay here if you just want somewhere to lay your head at the end of the day. For €64 a night, you get a hotel in a perfect central location, a comfy bed, adequate facilities (kettle, fridge, microwave, etc.) and a waterfall shower. I'm aware these budget hotels can be a roll of dice (I've been burnt before) but this one is not nearly as bad as some people are making it out to be.

My single bedroom was almost like a pod, but at least it had a window. The bed was narrow and not very comfortable, but the shower was good. There was a kettle with coffee and tea bags, a microwave and a fridge. There was a gap in the door that let light in at night, also the curtains didnt provide full darkness. The bathroom light was on motion sensor and stayed on for ages - bring a sleep mask!

From my perspective some basic requirements are not met making the experience something to not repeat never again. Quality of sleep is vital when I book a room and unfortunately quality of sleep was not there for the following reasons: curtains did not guarantee the minimum level of darkness required during the night as they did not cover the entire length of the window and they were made of a thin material with a light gray colour. In addition to that, there is no soundproofing at all between two adjacent rooms and I could hear everything. I regret I did not book a room at citybox as I was at citybox in Tallinn a couple days before and there is no comparison.

Enjoying my stay so far! Location is very convenient-10 min walk to all the main attractions and there is a supermarket right across the street. Check in was easy-all i had to do is enter a code i got via email. Room is nice and clean.

Very basic hotel. No onsite staff so any problems are difficult to sort - I was given the incorrect room details (room already occupied) and it took them 2hrs to call back. Room was passable but bathroom is a ‘pod’ design so very little space with shower curtain sticking to you when you shower. My room was also next to a generator and cold. Only redeeming factors were a comfy bed with good pillows and good central location. Wouldn’t book again.

The locks to the rooms were broken, and just to get in the room it took like 30 minutes already because WE had to call theur customer service, they had to call the security guy right in front of us, and then he could let us in. Instead of offering us other rooms for the inconvenience we just had to deal with all that shit after a long and tiring travel, and now we can not get out without having to deal with this shit again.

I stayed here for a month. The hotel is minimal. Be warned there are two Omena hotels near each other make sure you go to the right one. There is NOT conditioner provided. The blackout curtains are not the best, but they block most of the light. For European standards the rooms are big. The mini fridge does not have a freezer and is extremely small. You get a microwave and a teapot but no other ways to cook food. It isn't the best, but it isn't the worst either.

Horrible experience at this hotel! Booked through Expedia same-day after a 30+ hours of travel. Upon arrival it was not clear where the entrance to the hotel was, only provided with a door code in confirmation email, no reception or check in desk. Room provided was absolutely disgusting. It had not been cleaned from previous guest. Dirty sheets, dirty towels all over the floor, urine on the bathroom floor, beer cans and bottles in the hallway and in the room. After informing the property we were told they had not been contacted soon enough and were "unable to help". However there was no reception area, no phones in the room and no room service available; and within minutes of entering the room a complaint was sent via the Expedia booking link and a response email was sent to me from the hotel group 12 hours later. Very disappointed and disgusted with the treatment by this company. Do not waste your money.
