The beds were not prepared as we arrived and the bathroom smelled horribly, letting up the smell from the sewers. Defitenitely not worth the high price of 90 euros per night. There was no reception for complaining, the noted website for managing my booking did not exist and nobody answered on the 24/7 helpline. Really one of the worst experiences I ever had.

Omena Hotel got EVERYTHING you need: perfect location (from airport and city center), 24/7 check in, a bed, water boiler, coffee, tea, private bathroom, towels, AC, mini fridge (not stocked but to store your own items). It is not a 5 star hotel which is obvious on (lack of) services provided but you'll have all the amenities you could possibly need for a short stay and a clean room to stay in and absolutely perfect quality-price ratio.

I had stayed previously at this Hotel and had no issues. However, on this occasion there were a few problems that left me frustrated. Upon arriving at the Hotel I was unable to access my Room using the Door Code that was provided to me the day earlier via Email. After MULTIPLE attempts to use the code I had to return to the Lobby to use the "Free Phone" to contact Customer Care that was located there. To my surprise the Phone in the Lobby DID NOT WORK!! Thankfully I had my own Phone with a European Sim Card to call the number provided. After speaking to Customer Care (who had to ring me back 4 TIMES to try and resolve the issue I was allocated another Room. To my confusion I was not aware at this Hotel there is a "Building A" and a "Building B". My first code was for Building A (Floor 5) then I was given a new Code for Building B (Floor 4). I was then given verbal directions on how to locate Building B. Eventually after 1.5hrs (after the 4.00pm Check In Time I was able to access my Room at 5.20pm) My main gripes are; 1./ The wrong Door Code was provided in the 1st Instance and the Room was not accessible (or available to use I was told). 2./ The "Free" Customer Care Phone in the Entrance Lobby is FAULTY and Unusable. This needs to be rectified by Omena as it's a MUST for Guests that have issues that require help should assistance be needed as its a "Staff Free" Hotel. Also, I have read other guests have raised this issue in other reviews however the Phone remains unfixed. 3./ Not a huge issue but the Bed Light in my Room was not working and should be something that is checked by the Room Service Staff. - On a Positive Note. The Customer Care lady that assisted me was very patient and did her best to resolve the issue and I also stayed at the Omena Hotel in Turku on this trip and it all went smoothly.

Clean room, a pretty comfortable bed, everything worked, location was great for sightseeing etc.||Downside, VERY VERY noisy!!||Check in was easy, access code worked fine. Room had pretty much what we needed for an overnight stay. Would I stay again. No.

This place is terrible. Yes, it's cheap, but, in this case, you really do get what you pay for. I will start with something positive: the location is good. To be extra nice, the bed was pretty comfortable. The less good parts: customer service is so bad that I don't even know where to begin. The short version - if something goes wrong, there is a huge chance that you will be on your own and perhaps even have to pay - yes, pay - to get help. They have a customer service phone in the lobby which is free to use, but what good is that if it doesn't work (which was the case when I was there)? If you use your own phone, which I had to do three times because of different issues for a total of nearly half an hour, much of which was spent waiting and waiting, you have to pay nearly one euro per minute. When I tried to address this afterwards with their customer service people via email, the response I got was cold and unhelpful, and it seemed like the person who replied hadn't even read my mail. Folks - save yourself the hassle. There are far better, cleaner and safer (I might add - unless you enjoy competing for an elevator with a bunch of rowdy drunks) places to stay that would probably not cost that much more. Helsinki is full of hotels, even some cheap ones. This place does not deserve your business; once they have your money, the extent to which they care about you diminishes by 95%.

Was there in the beginning of March for about a week, fantastic hotel, the value is great, the localization is fantastic and allowed me and my friend to explore a lot of Finland and Helsinki! If you trip goal is to mostly travel and have a great spot to come restore your energies i would recommend this hotel! Will come back here when i return someday to Finland again.

I can’t say I loved the room but it was convenient enough, fully equipped including fridge, microwave, strong hairdryer and a kettle which is huge. Good mattresses. The food supermarket is just across the street, close to transport and for walking. The pizza place which sometimes works super late is just downstairs. We arrived to our first room late and it was smelling petroleum with windows to internal well of walls. I called the help line and they immediately changed the room. Be careful if you have big luggage, another block of rooms is not equipped with a lift to enter, just stairs

Not a perfect hotel. However, I booked this a week in advance. Centrally located and going as a single man, I'm not bothered about luxury. I just want clean, functional, convenient and good value. Which is exactly what I got. No reception so once you hit 4pm, you're straight in. Lidl across the road, pizza restaurant attached, main train station to the airport 10 minutes walk away, if that. Fantastic!

Yelp
Pros: -Large building, small rooms, affordable -15 mins walk to central station -everything is through email: no check in and check our process. Entrance code is emailed to you. -Clean rooms -Clean bathroom -Heated towel racks -free wifi Cons: -Shower drain was a bit slow which made the floor a little more wet then i like it to be

Yelp
The locks to the rooms were broken, and just to get in the room it took like 30 minutes already because WE had to call theur customer service, they had to call the security guy right in front of us, and then he could let us in. Instead of offering us other rooms for the inconvenience we just had to deal with all that shit after a long and tiring travel, and now we can not get out without having to deal with this shit again.

Yelp
I stayed here for a month. The hotel is minimal. Be warned there are two Omena hotels near each other make sure you go to the right one. There is NOT conditioner provided. The blackout curtains are not the best, but they block most of the light. For European standards the rooms are big. The mini fridge does not have a freezer and is extremely small. You get a microwave and a teapot but no other ways to cook food. It isn't the best, but it isn't the worst either.

Yelp
Horrible experience at this hotel! Booked through Expedia same-day after a 30+ hours of travel. Upon arrival it was not clear where the entrance to the hotel was, only provided with a door code in confirmation email, no reception or check in desk. Room provided was absolutely disgusting. It had not been cleaned from previous guest. Dirty sheets, dirty towels all over the floor, urine on the bathroom floor, beer cans and bottles in the hallway and in the room. After informing the property we were told they had not been contacted soon enough and were "unable to help". However there was no reception area, no phones in the room and no room service available; and within minutes of entering the room a complaint was sent via the Expedia booking link and a response email was sent to me from the hotel group 12 hours later. Very disappointed and disgusted with the treatment by this company. Do not waste your money.
