I had a comfortable stay at Omena Hotel Helsinki City Centre. The location is perfect—right in the city center, close to the main station and shops. The room was clean and had all the basics, and check-in was easy with a digital code. No daily housekeeping or luggage storage after check-out, but great for a short stay.

Clean, silent, easy, cheap. The IR sensor in the bathroom often turned off the lights while showering. The code input pads were not perfect. The strong red apple visuals are so so, but you get what you pay for. 👍🏻

Efficient, clean and good located. The key door works really smooth, you need it for the main door, the lift and the room door. It worked even arriving at 2am. The room is cozy and the bathroom is also very well integrated. Good price-quality ratio.

It was good easy access to the central city and transportation. It would be better if the checking system was easier for us we called by our phone which cost 5£ thankfully the operator was helpful. Great for the price.

Unpleasant place not advertised as offered. They lie about being a hotel. It's just a glorified Airbnb without staff or basic amenities. Charge for literally anything on top of an already high price. Need to provide credentials ahead of time to get a code to have a room, can't check in early or late without paying extra, no holding luggage, no public spaces, nothing decent. Don't recommend unless you're looking for a quiet hostel experience without any social benefits. Unreliable WiFi. But at least the shower had good pressure and sheets were soft

Great location and the use of access codes worked well instead of using a key card. Room was a fine size for 2 adults but I think it would be a bit small for more people. Great to have a microwave, fridge and kettle but really disappointing paper cups for hot drinks which were tiny and very flimsy - not really usable. Bathroom was ok, but a bit caravan-like, but fine for 2 days. Had all the basic amenities and overall good stay ☺️

Even if I just think of this place as a place to spend the night and not hang out, it still gets a 2. Stayed here at the start and end of our travels in Finland.||Pluses:|- close to places to eat and shop|- can walk from the train station (though it may be a pain to drag luggage across cobblestone streets)|- get in the building and room with the same code (so no key cards to carry or lose)|- small refrigerator|- microwave||Minuses:|- bathroom drain was slimy when we arrived, and I'd say the sink was not the most clean|- Bathroom light was on a timer and motion-sensored, so whenever we would shower, the lights would suddenly go out (and it was super dark in there). Had to stick my arm out beyond the shower curtain and move it around to get the lights back on.|- Room felt cramped because we had a gigantic column next to our beds the first time we stayed. The second time we stayed, that room felt more spacious because it didn't have a column in it.|- The sofa was extremely uncomfortable to sit on--it would sink down so far!|- The doorknob was loose the whole time, and our last day, it fell off. We were worried we wouldn't be able to open the door without the doorknob (and therefore not be able to retrieve the luggage), but we managed to open it and had to put the doorknob on ourselves (no reception desk).|- You can pay for breakfast nearby, but the choices were somewhat limited. It would be better just to buy something at the store for breakfast.||Bottom line: I was relieved when our stay here was over and would not ever stay here again.

It was a great location, but getting inside the hotel is not the best! Get yourself your code before travelling as there isn't any reception, just two lifts and nobody in that building speaks English. I wasted 3 hours of my day trying to contact them and the code got activated after 6h of my arrival .
