Even if I just think of this place as a place to spend the night and not hang out, it still gets a 2. Stayed here at the start and end of our travels in Finland.||Pluses:|- close to places to eat and shop|- can walk from the train station (though it may be a pain to drag luggage across cobblestone streets)|- get in the building and room with the same code (so no key cards to carry or lose)|- small refrigerator|- microwave||Minuses:|- bathroom drain was slimy when we arrived, and I'd say the sink was not the most clean|- Bathroom light was on a timer and motion-sensored, so whenever we would shower, the lights would suddenly go out (and it was super dark in there). Had to stick my arm out beyond the shower curtain and move it around to get the lights back on.|- Room felt cramped because we had a gigantic column next to our beds the first time we stayed. The second time we stayed, that room felt more spacious because it didn't have a column in it.|- The sofa was extremely uncomfortable to sit on--it would sink down so far!|- The doorknob was loose the whole time, and our last day, it fell off. We were worried we wouldn't be able to open the door without the doorknob (and therefore not be able to retrieve the luggage), but we managed to open it and had to put the doorknob on ourselves (no reception desk).|- You can pay for breakfast nearby, but the choices were somewhat limited. It would be better just to buy something at the store for breakfast.||Bottom line: I was relieved when our stay here was over and would not ever stay here again.
