I found OMJ via recommendation from a friend of mine, and from the very first interaction with them all the way until I left the shop with my fully custom wedding getup less than two months later, it was a flawless experience. The staff at OMJ are awesome. I wanted to do something fun for my wedding celebration suit, and they helped me put together an amazing, custom outfit at a very reasonable price. Shout out to Jamie for the awesome advice and enthusiasm along the way! I've never owned anything that fits as well as their stuff, nor have I worn anything else that made me feel as stylish either. I definitely recommend them for any custom dress clothes, suits, and shoes too!

I cannot say enough about the incredible experience I had working with OMJ. From start to finish, the level of professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail was outstanding. I needed four new suits in differing colors, and each one turned out absolutely perfect tailored precisely to my frame, with a flawless fit and finish. What impressed me most was not only the quality of the fabrics and construction, but also the personalized guidance I received throughout the process. They took the time to understand my style (which is way too basic but they added some flair) made thoughtful suggestions on color and design, and ensured each suit had its own personality while still feeling cohesive as a collection. Wearing these suits, I feel something I rarely get in off-the-rack clothing. It’s clear this team takes immense pride in their craft, and it shows in every stitch. Brad and the OMJ team are the real deal. I’ve gotten two custom suits, a sport coat, and pants from them—all wonderful. They nailed a very specific navy jacket I had in mind (and introduced me to my new favorite mill, Solbiati…good stuff in the Graffiti line). They even fixed a poorly fitting jacket I bought elsewhere. They really care about their relationships with clients. On top of their talent, they were incredibly kind to me after my grandfather passed. Grateful they’re here in Charlotte—these folks have a customer for life. I need to get another item soon!

I had a great experience getting my wedding suit made at OMJ. Working with Jamie was excellent—she guided me through the whole process and made it easy to choose the color, buttons, and all the details for the suit. I ended up getting a suit, vest, pants, and a custom dress shirt. When everything came in, they had me try it on to make sure the fit was just right. They also made sure my dress shirt arrived on time and fit perfectly. Communication was great the whole way through—I could easily reach out with any questions. The vibe in the shop was relaxed, and I appreciated that it’s a local business. Everything looked great on the day and made me feel confident and comfortable walking down the aisle. I’d definitely recommend OMJ to anyone looking for a custom suit in the area, and I’ll be going to them for any other suit needs in the future.

My fiance and I decided to check out OMJ for his wedding suit after a visit to another suit shop in CLT did not go as well as expected. Our first visit was just a drop in, but immediately upon entering and explaining the stress and disappointment of having traveled so far to CLT in search of a custom suit and falling short elsewhere, they talked with us about our vision, started showing us swatches and made us feel welcome and comfortable in a situation we weren’t very familiar with. They made us an appt to come back, and we were not disappointed. Every single detail, down to the buttons, the stitching on the lapel, the way the pockets were positioned, belt loops or no belt loops, all of these things truly made this experience customizable and so enjoyable. We were the only ones in the shop, so it was completely 1:1 and exactly a vibe you would hope for when doing something like this. The suit and the shoes (and the cuff links!) turned out amazing and we could not be happier that we found OMJ. Thank you guys for being professional, thorough, and communicating promptly with us all along the way, and a big thanks for the great experience and even more amazing suit.

If you have never had the OMJ experience, you are missing out! Whether its the custom design process where any of the knowledgeable staff help you navigate fabrics, patterns, buttons, stitching while sipping a complimentary cocktail (make sure to look into the OMJ Whiskey Club!!), or just getting your precise measurements taken so you know what is going to fit the best, OMJ takes care of YOU! I have had several custom jackets (including a green velvet one where the inside lining is a picture of my wife on our wedding day) as well as a full suit, a custom tuxedo, and several custom shirts, and I have found that nothing fits like an OMJ piece. They also have several off the rack options of high quality shirts, t-shirts, slacks, shoes, cufflinks, belts, etc.! I highly recommend going to OMJ. It will blow your mind how much better you feel in clothes made specifically for you.

Recently the Groomsmen and I went in to OMJ to figure out suits for the upcoming wedding. Boy did OMJ not disappoint! Jamie and the staff provided an awesome environment for all of us to get measured and customize are jackets and pants. These folks move with a purpose! Thanks for making us all look grand!

Above and Beyond.. service and products are top tier . What to get the person who has it all and is impossible to surprise? Tailored clothing. They have so many beautiful and unique prints and they kept me up to date with the delivery window and even wrapped it beautifully. Londi is a gem and made the experience so delightful. Most of all my partner was SO surprised and they fit perfectly

My wife and I traveled to Charlotte this weekend for a wedding. Some how I misplaced my blue suit, shoes, and shirt. Not a good situation. We went to Macy's and Nordstrom's to see if I could buy anything off the shelf.......nothing. I found Ole mason Jar Clothier online and walked the few blocks to their wonderful store. We were greeting by Brad and Filipe and explained my dilemma. Now think about this for a moment........I asked them at 11:00 am if there was any chance that I could buy a suit and just have the pants altered or pinned up for a wedding that was happening that day at 5:00 pm. The answer was "Yes, we can make that happen." I was shocked. Filipe asked what size I was and I answered a 46 regular........Brad looked at me and said put him in a 44 reg. It fit better than any suit I have ever owned. All of their clothes are their own brand and designed by them. Their material, stitching, and cut, were beautiful. I was measured and handed the suit back to Filipe. He bolted to the seamstress. My wife and I had lunch and the suit was ready in less that 2.5 hours. As one of my first experiences purchasing products from a business reopening during Covid I must tell you that it was such a grand experience. These guys represent EVERYTHING GREAT about business ownership. They cared about my situation, produce a fantastic product, and delivered with a huge smile. I am an OMJ lifer. Thanks Guys

Have a wedding and need suits for the men or just want clothes that fit to perfection? This is the place. Kelly is so helpful and knows her stuff. /they have everything from tea shirts to money clips and shoes. A one stop shop. So nice to see hand made items you can have tailor made

OMJ is now in a new location in the Design Center and they've only gotten better with age! I decided to treat myself to a custom shirt and I am so glad I did. I purchased a gift card online during Black Friday and made an online appointment easily and quickly through their website. I received a confirmation email and a text reminder. Love that there is plenty of parking in a parking garage nearby and on the street around their new location. OMJ validates 90 minutes of parking for the garage so you have plenty of time at your appointment. I met with Brad, one of the two owners, in their beautiful new showroom. We sat and looked at fabrics then cuff/collar/body options. I tried on several shirts and Brad took notes every step of the way. My measurements and preferences were all added to my order. I added a complementary monogram to my shirt. I will get my shirt in a couple of weeks and head in for a final fitting. Their new showroom is gorgeous with plenty of thoughtful details and design touches. They also sell ready to made clothing, hats, men's accessories, gifting items. A great way to surprise anyone in your life with a customer fitting is to get a gift card and present it in a dopp kit with other goodies. They also carry Malin+Goetz skincare! If you know, you know *wink*. Overall, the process is personal, professional and smooth. I am proud of OMJ for growing into their new space and can't wait to see what's to come post-COVID!

I was a groomsmen in my friends Wedding, and it worked out great because I needed a new suite and this was the place he picked. From the fitting to the final product, this place is exceptional. Very professional. I also don't mind having a glass or 2 of bourbon while trying on suites. I also decided to get a custom shirt. One of the nicest shirts I have. Great place. Great location as well. Nice to grab a drink after.
