"How did it strike you on arrival? This downtown hotel is large and in charge. With over 1,000 rooms, it is a great option for a group that is attending an event at the Dallas Convention Center as it connects via sky bridge. What’s the crowd like? The crowd during the week is mainly business and convention travelers, however, on the weekends you are likely to spot women in fancy dresses headed to one of the ball rooms for a charity function or even a wedding. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.I had an Executive Suite and was pleasantly surprised to get so much space (over 700 square feet) for less than ordinary rooms go for at some other hotels in town. The living room had a full size sofa and the floor to ceiling windows were wonderful for taking in views of downtown. What do they have for food and drink? There was a coffee maker in the room as well as a Morsel's Coffee Shop on the ground floor that served Peet's Coffee. This hotel is a downtown dining destination and features a handful of some solid Dallas restaurants. Personal picks include Bob's Steak and Chop House for a delicious steak and Black Ship Little Katana for sophisticated sushi dishes. Coal Vines is also a solid option for a piping hot pizza and a nice glass of red wine. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.Suites at this hotel are huge and are offered at a considerably lower price than the competition. Anyone with kids will like some of the family-friendly amenities like cookies and milk delivered to the room and an activities backpack upon check in. The Uptown Terrace Pool Bar & Grill is one of downtown's hidden gems and is the best way to experience the property's infinity pool, which opens daily at 7 a.m. for early birds to take advantage of peaceful downtown views with coffee in hand. Bottom line: worth it, and why? This hotel has great bang for your buck. If you are on a budget and looking for a downtown Dallas hotel, I would rank this as one of my top choices due to its wide selection of restaurants and proximity to major city attractions." - Diana Oates

This hotel has four stars, I think it should have 2-3. Upon arrival, check in was interesting. The front desk staff informed us the pool was closed momentarily, and we were offered a discount because the pool was 95% for booking the hotel for our weekend getaway. But then another staff member said “don’t give them that” which was mildly annoying. So the pool was closed the entire time, and they wouldn’t say why. There wasn’t anyone cleaning it or fixing anything on it, it was sitting there empty. The valet system was not working properly and it took a while to get our car. (The system was down and this wasn’t their fault). And that is also one of the risks you run with using valet, is having to wait depending on how busy they are. Location: a little scary we witnessed a car accent, and there was a large homeless population surround the grounds. The plus side was there were some detached restaurants that you could take your drinks to go from which was nice and the restaurant we went to was good (left them a review too) And there was police present and patrolling. I just feel for the nightly price to stay at this hotel the surround area should feel more upscale.

The rooms are clean and relatively spacious. As for the chairs in the room, while they look good, they are not that comfortable, at least ours weren't. There is a Keurig in the room and they provide k-cups and bottled water, which was very nice. The fridge in the room is tiny, and as a warning, just keeps things cool, it is not adjustable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There are a lot of food options at the hotel, however they are pricey. The best bang for our buck was Hops and Hens. Anything else is a decent walk away. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you need to stay in the downtown area for the convention center. Great view from the higher floors.

Google
It was an absolutely beautiful hotel. The room was very clean and the bathroom mirror had a tv inside it which was a first for me. The view of downtown was gorgeous. The two downsides were the pool and location. The pool was actually a great rooftop pool, but they had to close it down for about 2 hours while they taped down the sides of the pool because the tiny tiles were chipping and breaking. They were made of glass which of course made it a hazard to swim in. I can't believe they had these installed in the pool. It's obvious they are a hazard. The location is also a downside because there are so few places to eat within walking distance. They have restaurants inside the hotel, but because there are not many places around, they charge way too much for their food. A bowl of oatmeal cost me $10 and a burger and fries was about $18, and that was before tip.

Google
Our room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. There are lots of dining options, inside and across the driveway, all owned by the hotel. We never left the property because it didn't seem like there was much else around. Most of the staff were friendly, and the police officer in the lobby was very helpful with info about parking.

0 stars! - waited two hours for towels - can’t get anyone on the dang phone i waited 20 minutes on hold - no BELL HOP and I’m disabled - ac broken! Humid - charged me $800. 13+ days pending and no reversal - worst customer service When I checked in the front desk completely ignored me when I blatantly stated I have two cards. One for incidental and one for main charge. I had both of my cards out and she still charged the full amount. When corrected, she reversed it then recharged me. So here I am 1,500 out of my bank account!! Now it’s day 13 and the $805 is still pending reversal! Getting anyone on the phone there is IMPOSSIBLE! the worst customer service and it’s suppose to be “luxury”. You’ll wait 15 minutes or more on hold in your room! I got towels 2 hours later! Then at check out, you can’t get no bell hop. You can’t take a bell hop. I went in person and was told 7 minutes. Wow, 40 minutes later no bell hop! So being disabled to make check out time i was going up and down two sets of elevators! That’s because the parking garage is also an elevator! This hotel is NOT worth the money. A Hilton is better and cheaper and more luxury what whatever this sorry excuse was. Horrible, horrible!

Google
This hotel was AWESOME! It didn’t have “the best view” or anything. The service was great, the amenities were awesome, parking was free if you stayed here, everything was exceptional! The room was wonderful, my only complaint was that the fridge did not get really cold, just cooler than room temp, and it smelled kind of old. They could also stand to put an elevator in a more convenient location for people who have a room at the end of the hall. Loved the tv in the mirror but it really didn’t serve a purpose, it didn’t really work.

Google
Had two rooms at this rooms at the hotel for a recent volleyball tournament. The amenities were great, but we were on the 16th (of 23) floors and there was only ever two, and usually only one, functioning elevator. Waited once for 10 minutes before eventually taking the stairs down from the 16th floor. Still beat the people we had been waiting with down to the 2nd floor. Linens for the bed were fantastic, but the bed itself was awful. Proximity to the conference center was also fantastic, but driving around the hotel is miserable. The hotel has huge potential, but will not stay again until they fix the beds and elevators.

Yelp
Love this Hotel. I have come for several meetings/events and it's always top notch. Staff is professional and the food is always amazing (didn't get pic of the meal but WOW so good!) They have a lot to offer in the hotel and offer both self or valet parking. Great location within walking of a lot of Dallas restaurants

Yelp
(From August, 2023) So I got to stay here for the Metallica concert during the August weekend for 3 nights. Definitely one of the pricier hotels I've stayed at. But the amenities are quite nice with the clean bed, towels, workout room, and stunning rooftop pool. Only issue was the bathroom doorknob broke due to faulty screws so we couldn't close it all the way or you'd get stuck. Definitely an inconvenience. We let the front desk know but they could not get us another room. So we made do with the situation and reminded ourselves not to close the door all the way. I wouldn't mind staying here again but I'll probably settle for Marriott or Hyatt to get my points.

Jose H.

Yelp
Massive clean business hotel. Came for an event and spent the night. Good AC, food beds. Problems with the shower and sink drain though. Seems central, but really don't think Dallas is a walkable city. Feel it's more a business hotel.

Kristy S.

Yelp
Gorgeous hotel all the way around. From the rooms to the service, from the spa to the lobby lounge. On pointe! I was there for a yoga conference nearby and used my airline points to cover my room. The linens are TDF and you never want to get out of the scrumptious bed. I treated myself to a luxurious facial in the spa and it was a fantastic experience. Two thumbs up!

Yelp
Beautiful hotel with clean and well maintained rooms. I was here for a convention. The Omni seems to be committed to maintaining a high standard of excellence as the convention rooms were set up nicely, the snack area during break time had a nice assortment of goodies and the restrooms were immaculately maintained. The people working security detail were very professional as well. The Omni offered decent restaurants inside and outside on South Lamar Street. I dined at the Texas Spice, Bob's steak and chop house, hops and hens and Morsels. The food quality was superb and I will review the restaurant's separately and not here. Some Pros and Cons: PROS: 1. Spacious and clean room. 2. Large LED TV 3. Rotary knobs on lamps to control the brightness 4. HVAC easily maintains temperature. 5. Mini Fridge and safe 6. Coffee machine 7. Gym is 24/7 8. Elevators require your key card to activate. 9. 2 bottles of water complimentary in room at check in CONS: 1. Water pressure is weak. 2. Takes forever for hot water to turn hot, never really gets hot enough 3. Gym water cooler was out of water, 2 days in a row 4. Fee to use wifi. but free when you become an omni member 5. No vending machines on the room floor for snacks, only ice machines. 6. During convention the snacks were gratis, but coffee was $5 a cup. 7. Parking is not free A great hotel located in a very desirable location in the downtown Dallas area.

Yelp
One of the coolest places to stay if you are doing one of the runs downtown or staying for an event (busses to arenas and local stadiums). I live in Dallas and was participating in a run. It was raining cats and dogs (more like horses and cows) which made staying so close that much better! Well worth staying the night before! Besides having fantastic views at night, there are many short walk places to eat near by or inside. Parking garage is integrated with the hotel. It is VERY easy to find at night! The staff is absolutely 5 stars, the accommodations is also 5 star. It is beginning to show some age, but still very well maintained! Treat yourself royally and stay here!

Daniel A.

Yelp
This is a hotel my wife and I visit numerous times a year! It is in the best area of Downtown Dallas. Walking distance from most downtown destinations and very accommodating, and polite staff!

Cody L.

Yelp
Stunningly spectacular views and holiday decorations on display in downtown Dallas. Attend a conference and had A+ service the entire time from Valet to Front Desk to Catering to the AV team all were helpful and happy.

Ashley D.

Yelp
Uptown pool bar was amazing! Great service and great views! Got a cocktail at the pool bar. Ended up getting two because it was so yummy!

Allison P.

Yelp
Great hotel with beautiful views. The service was great. I loved the check in emails and text messages I received by the hotel.

Alek H.

Yelp
We stayed here for business and the whole experience was just amazing. Front desk staff was wonderful and the server by the name of Ndidi was wonderful as well. She is a stand out in this hotel. We had some issues with water draining out of the shower and the sink and afterwards they told us that they would take care of it but other than that, the rooms were wonderful and the experience overall was exceptional. Food options were plenty, but I didn't find any of them to be, gourmet or stand out it's just simple American fare.

Dan S.

Yelp
I didn't not stay at this hotel but most certainly will next time. A convention was going on so we decide to have breakfast at the hotel at the Tx Spice. Their breakfast was magnificent! The staff were professional and nice and the restaurant was new and had a great vibe. I had steak and eggs. There were a large number of cheerleaders in the hotel and my order took an hour to get out. The waitress apologized and so did the manager. My meal was delicious and completely free. I did like attention to detail that the manager apologized more than once regarding our meal. I will definitely eat at this restaurant again and plan a stay at this location.

Assylzhan Y.

Yelp
I had a wonderful experience at the Omni Dallas hotel. The room offered a stunning view, and the receptionist was both professional and kind. However, I encountered a drawback during breakfast where the coffee cup provided was very dirty. The replacement process took around 20 minutes, which was a bit inconvenient. Despite this, the overall stay was enjoyable, and I appreciated the positive aspects of the hotel.

Jessica B.

Yelp
Stayed here a couple nights while visiting the Dallas / Fort Worth area. Have stayed at Omni's before and always had a great experience. I was on the 20th floor with a great view. Pool was fun. Clean. Check-in staff was very helpful and friendly. Only downside is no in-room dining from 11am-5pm. I wanted lunch and had to go down to get it.

Kacey C.

Yelp
I had a wonderful experience at the Omni Dallas while in town for a work conference. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful! They even sent a maintenance staff member to help me set up a piece of my exhibitor booth that broke mid travel. The rooftop pool is a fantastic amenity with a great view! There are a handful of restaurants on the property. Yummy and great service everywhere I went! It is removed from the main sites of Dallas. You have to Lyft/Uber to other bars, but if you're here for work, it's not a huge problem. Only a ten minute walk to the JFK Book Depository Museum.

Quang B.

Yelp
Great location, clean and wonderful ambiance. Valets do a superb job keeping the cars rolling and coming out quickly. My car was ready after a phone call in my room by the time I arrived downstairs. Nice clean rooms with great service. Highly recommended !

Teresa B.

Yelp
Stayed here while in town for the Beyoncé concert. The staff were so helpful and kind no matter if it was the front desk, the coffee stand workers or pool bar/grill staff. Arthur, Chief concierge, was a lifesaver in helping us get a safe and confirmed ride home from the concert after a questionable recommendation. Spent a lot of time at the rooftop pool. Was quiet and relaxing good selection of food and drinks available at the pool bar. Rooms were nice and had good AC. Despite having 3 conventions/events going on it did not feel crowded. The only downsides was the pool bar closed at 7 and the a ge of the restaurants had odd hours. There really wasn't a lot within walking distance and if you went a few blocks south, it got a little sketchy. I would recommend & stay here again.

Pris G.

Yelp
I can't describe how amazing this hotel is. Everything clean and perfect!!! The city pool view is stunning!!

Jessica S.

Yelp
My girlfriends and I stayed a weekend here and had the most fun! Upon arrival, we pulled up to valet to unload our bags on the baggage cart. The valet employees graciously helped us load the cart and placed the cart inside for us in the lobby so we could park our car. Valet parking was an option, but I prefer to park my own car. I love that a parking garage was an option. Check in was also very smooth. We showed up a little early, but the concierge at the front checked us in early and had our baggage cart wheeled up with us. My girls and I shared one room with two queen beds. The room was smaller than I expected, but the view from the floor to ceiling windows was amazing! Especially at night! The bathroom looked remodeled, so that was nice. We had to request more towels and toiletries. It would have been nice had they anticipated a group of four women would need more than two towels. After unpacking, we went down to the lobby to have some drinks at the bar. The bartender was the sweetest! She was very quick making drinks, made sure our side of water was kept filled, and gave us great recommendation on drinks! The next morning we decided to try the coffee shop, also down in the lobby, before roaming the city. I love trying local coffee whenever I can. I wasn't too impressed with their coffee, but it wasn't bad. My girls thought the same with their drinks. Location was convenient. Unfortunately that night, one of my girls got sick, so we stayed in and ordered room service. We each got a quesadilla and fries. I am a quesadilla girl, so I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! We also scoped out the gift shop down in the lobby while looking for medicine for my friend. Highly recommend going in there! Overall the weekend stay was fun and enjoyable. The only thing that bothered me was how expensive every single thing was. The hotel, the food, the drinks, the coffee shop, the parking, etc. Omni is a nice hotel, but I expect a little more for the prices we had to pay.

Willie R.

Yelp
I stayed at the Omni for three nights last week for board meetings. It was a convenient location since some events were taking place next door at the convention center. Highlights: -There are six or so different restaurants inside the hotel and in the row on Lamar, which has a Japanese place with sushi, a casual chicken place, a Tex-Mex restaurant. This was nice because I was able to cycle through a few different restaurants during my stay. -Very clean and feels quite new! -The rooms are spacious, especially for someone who is used to tiny east coast hotel rooms

Jimbo S.

Yelp
The doors had broken locks and the ice machine didn't work for a week. Disappointing seeing as this is a luxury hotel.

Jennifer E.

Yelp
I stayed at the Omni Downtown Dallas for 4 nights while attending a conference in the hotel and convention center. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and decent food choices around the hotel, though the area isn't all that walkable if you want to leave the Omni grounds. The TVs imbedded in the bathroom mirrors are a bit of a useless gimmick, but overall, a good hotel.

Shannon F.

Yelp
This will be the first and last time I book or stay at any Omni hotel. To not except an ESA as a service animal is absolutely horrible. You only want to make an extra $125 non refundable charge vs supporting mental illness. Tisk Tisk! That is basically a violation if you ask me. Physical looking at a person with a disability is noticeable so its okay you accommodate because you have no choice but someone with PTSD or Anxiety you want to charge? We have a disability as well.

Roshani A.

Yelp
I would give this Zero stars if I could, the most disappointing experience for the price. To start off my staycation, I wanted a really nice view of downtown Dallas, and mind you I made the reservation over the phone, and the front desk lady was super nice at the time of booking, and ensured me she'd get me a really great view. To my surprise I got a view of the parking lot. I mean I would of booked somewhere else if that was the case. Second, the staff was extremely rude, when I ask for towels because I only had two towels for a Two bedroom room, with no toilet paper? How do you even forget that? I spent damn near 400$ DO NO STAY HERE, the bed also had a red blood stain on it, and I told the front desk and she didn't do anything about it when I called down. She sent someone up that never came, luckily I got two bed and I ended up just sleeping on the other one. Very very disappointed with this "luxury" hotel. Fair warning to choose another hotel

Michael H.

Yelp
This is an awesome gorgeous hotel. I came for four nights to attend the National Recreation and Park Association national conference. It's conveniently connected to the convention center. Maybe one of the best hotels I have stayed with beautiful artwork displayed throughout. The staff was above and beyond! From the amazing people at the front door area coordinating the valet/opening doors to the incredible front desk staff. I loved the tv in my bathroom mirror and all of my furnishings. Bed was very comfortable. Room was immaculate and kept clean during my stay. The views from my room were awesome especially the nighttime light show. HIGH level of professionalism created the perfect atmosphere to attend a great conference!

John A.

Yelp
Nice hotel. We held a corporate conference at this location and stayed onsite. From a venue point of view there is a lot of open space within the Omni, across a number of ball rooms on the third floor and a number of meeting rooms on the second floor. There is also an attached convention center for very large events. I stayed on the 23rd floor (top floor). The rooms are nice and quiet. House keeping did a great job keeping the room tidy. Basic internet seemed to be included with my rate. Ubers just hang out in front of the hotel so super easy to get a ride. Check in and out was super easy, and the staff was all great. A few nits. 1/ the bar is small. 2/ the elevators are a pain, some expect a badge scan to select a floor, others don't, and some beep due to weight capacity with just 4 people on the car, yet others don't. Nevertheless, I'd stay here again, and I'd host a convention here again.

Mike D.

Yelp
We had an incident at the Omni where someone at our table bit down on a staple that was in their food. After about an hour a report was filed and we were told the meals were comped. We asked multiple time if we owed anything and the server kept telling us everything was comped (only around $50) and we were ok to leave. We left a large tip for the server and walked outside to talk with some friends. Then a manager came out and demanded we pay and said she trumped the server. We told her we asked what we owed several times and was told we were owed nothing, she said she didn't back up what her server said and we needed to pay. This is probably the worse dining experience we have ever had and after paying over $100,000 for our event we will not return. We encourage you to steer clear from the Omni for your events.

Eric L.

Yelp
Very nice Great restaurant down stairs and nice sports bar Wonderful views of downtown

Lamarr E.

Yelp
The service and staff here are great and very accommodating. Checking in was very easy and the rooms are really nice. I was a solo traveler, so the room gave me plenty enough space. I struggled with the restaurants though. It was the beginning of the week, so they didn't offer a ton of options. I ordered from the sports bar but wasn't a big fan of their food. My favorite amenity was the 24 hour gym. Good amount of treadmills and other workout equipment. I would definitely stay at the Dallas Omni again.

Sarah S.

Yelp
For the money spent, this hotel falls a little below average and next time I'm in town I may stay somewhere else. First, the bed was very hard, we woke up every day to sore shoulders and hips. I didn't ask to change rooms since I assumed they all have the same brand/style bed. Next up was the bathroom with mold around the top of the shower. Dark and easily visible which makes me think they aren't the most thorough of cleaners. There were limited places to charge electronics in the room and weird mismatched nightstands. Last, we stayed there due to the several on site restaurants just to find that only 2 out of the 7 were open on Sunday. We had a good view which made it a bit more enjoyable, but that's about it.

Fred T.

Yelp
Whew. Where do i start? This is my second visit at the Omni, and both times were fitness events. The first i just ran in and taught a class and i was out & this last time was for our annual conference. The entire stay was rocky based on the experience by the employees. Clearly the employees were NOT all on the same page in regards to check in, primary cards on rooms, price for parking, etc. First off, my roomie tried to checkin before me (authorized card holder on the account) and she was told She'd have to pay $175 ($25 more than her portion) and would be charged $20 daily for parking. Camp Gladiator was being given parking for $15/day. Secondly, from room service to the front desk staff our card was charged, refunded, charged refunded too many times. I'm not sure the reason why but this showed up on another roommates account. Thirdly, the last lady was told to pay a $159 balance that was agree to paid by all 4 Roomies. Well, for whatever reason her card was made primary and she being charged the remaining balance. All of this happened following me checking in on Monday, Dec 17 and Valerie, front desk employee, saying my card would be charged the entire amount. This was just the customer service portion of the stay. No need to go into details about the room & bathroom door being stuck & not able to open without yanking it.

JD J.

Yelp
The service here is really poor for an Omni hotel. I have stayed at many Omni hotels across the country and this one needs some serious work. For starters, I had my truck valeted for 15 minutes at check in and they charged me $20. Never have I been charged to check in to a hotel in my life. The manager Sean is really incompetent and doesn't have any understanding of customer service. Best of luck to this dated and and poorly ran Omni. Will never be staying here again.

Rachel C.

Yelp
Alisha was amazing when I couldn't book my room she went above and beyond to email my information to the appropriate person. McQueen checked me in she was so great providing all the much needed information. I had an amazing stay definitely recommend.

Jessica B.

Yelp
This particular Omni hotel is never worth staying at. In order to check into our hotel room, we had to wait in a line for 2.5 hours. That's with an online check in, waiting to show our ID and CC. We were late to an event and didn't have time to freshen up. Now this event is coming up again, so we called to see if there was a way to check in early, to avoid this problem. The manager said, we could pay and come a day earlier if we don't want to wait in a line for over 2 hours to get a key to our room. Ridiculous. Dallas has too many wonderful hotels to choose from to deal with something like this. We'd rather stay somewhere else, & take an Uber to attend the event at your hotel. Hoping to move this event next year. Terrible customer service.

Stacey F.

Yelp
I would highly recommend the Santa suite! Beautiful Christmas decorations everywhere in the room with a nice welcoming layout of amenities, both to eat, drink and enjoy! The view from the room was nice as well, a complete wall of windows! The only negative would be the lighting in the room was hard to figure out, had to call down to maintenance to have them come fix the lights. The master bedroom shower was TINY, not very luxurious but the jetted tub made up for that bad design! Lastly you could hear a lot of noise both from the streets below and above you, people are just inconsiderate but it literally at times sounded like a herd of cattle running back and forth for a good portion of the evening....

Richard M.

Yelp
Can't beat the Omni Dallas as far as I'm concerned. They always take care of me and everything is set up like I request. Stephanie was great at making my stay perfect and personal. Everything was clean and working, always felt safe and its close to everything in town.

Erica K.

Yelp
The Omni was a class act all around, from the business meeting rooms and restaurants to the actual room- definitely worth another visit. The donut wall was a great touch too

Scott A.

Yelp
Great Hotel, Amazing views, beautiful entrance with corner wall fireplace, I am very excited to be here for my first time.

JaNay H.

Yelp
[This review is for the pool bar & grill] I visited the Omni pool area while the Mary Kay convention was going on so it was veryyyy busy at the pool the day I went. The bartender was quick and attentive and did a really great job of monitoring the bar and keeping it clean. They have a top shelf liquor selection and a grill restaurant with really great burgers. My burger came out exceptionally fast. Overall, I had a good experience within this area of the hotel. (I did not stay the night here - my review is not based on the rooms/direct hotel services)

Rebecca G.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite properties however during the last stay, there was a system upgrade and this 100% impacted our stay. Most of the staff was accommodating however there were instances that made it clear there was not appropriate planning for the customer care after the upgrade. After several years of staying at this property, I will need a special experience to make up for this. Michelle

Yelp
I decided to take a last minute staycation during Labor Day weekend, which I've stayed at Omni Dallas several times over the 11 years since they opened. A couple of days before my arrival, Stephanie, the Loyalty Ambassador for Omni Dallas, called me to confirm my reservation requests, which she also upgraded me to a corner suite on the 11th floor since I'm a Black Tier Select Guest. I wasn't sure if I wanted the upgrade since the original room type (Premier Suite) that I had booked was a few floors higher floor than the upgraded room. I was a little uncertain if I wanted the upgraded room since I like a high floor for the view. Stephanie was very understanding and patient with me while I thought about room options, which she ultimately worked some magic and was able to move me up to a 17th floor corner suite. That definitely helped make my decision easier. During our phone conversation, I inquired about booking another staycation for the following week so the kids can join. Stephanie was able to reserve me a 3 bedroom corner suite on the same floor, which she was able get approved for a phenomenal deal for it. She definitely went above and a beyond in getting me set up with the rooms as I knew she was busy with other tasks that she needed to tend to. She definitely made me feel as an Omni VIP, which I wish all Omni properties had that high level of customer service from their Loyalty Ambassador as Stephanie exhibited.

Yelp
I stayed at the Omni for 3 days because I was in Dallas visiting family. I stayed at a very bad motel in Arizona once (feel free to peruse my reviews to read about that incident lol ) and was traumatized from staying there. Haha. Ever since then I would always save up a little extra cash so that I can stay at a nice hotel whenever I vacation. The Omni Hotel is a great hotel to stay at if you're visiting Dallas. One way I know that is nice is because every time a family or friend asked where I was staying, and I said, "I'm staying at the Omni Downtown" their eyes got super wide and they would say things like, "Ohhhh! You fancy huh?!" or "Ohhh that hotel is niiiiice!" It's a beautiful hotel. From the outside at nighttime it is completely lit up in flashing colors like a Vegas hotel. A perfect addition to the Downtown Dallas skyscrapers. It's very beautiful. When you walk inside you feel like you just walked into a luxury hotel. Because it is! lol. It looks like an expensive mall. It's very nice! They have these marble floors. There were Christmas decorations. Warm vibes. They even had this giant Christmas art piece outside that was giant christmas tree ball ornaments in a pile. It looked super cool! The people working at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The gentleman let me choose if I wanted a lower floor or a top floor. I chose a top since I wanted to take in the views. The room itself was nice. I personally am not a fan of the grey wall color scheme , but that's just me. I would have liked a brighter colored wall but again that's just my preference. The room itself was clean. The sheets were clean. The bathroom was VERY clean. I always check for hairs because again, I was traumatized from my Arizona motel incident. There were no stray hairs anywhere. My two issues with the room was that the wifi setup was a bit of a hassle. The front desk said if you become a member online you get free wifi. Okay that's great but that should just be a given with the room. Instead of me having to sign up online. I get it. They're being proactive but it was a bit annoying. Also there was some sort of spill on the carpet by my bed that must have stained because it smelled bad in that spot. I was like, "What is that?" And my nose led me to a part of the carpet. Like someone must have spilled meat soup or something there. Those were my only two issues. Besides that it was great! The view was nice. There was a tornado warning and it was raining super hard and the windows were whistling which was both scary and exciting! lol. The view of it was AWESOME! I'm from Los Angeles so we don't get to experience REAL thunderstorms often. I decided to go down the elevator to the lobby and to the cafe to get breakfast. There's a great cafe on the first floor. The place is like an expensive mall. The mocha tasted so good and they had these tasty breakfast sandwiches. I had breakfast there EVERY morning. I highly recommend the cereal muffin. So good! There are nice restaurants downstairs as well. I was feeling like, "Oh just treat yourself already!" So I went to the Steakhouse restaurant there. It was VERY luxurious. The waiter was so nice and treated me like a king. I got the tbone and mashed potatoes and carrot. And a strawberry lemonade. It was like $100 but it tasted so good and I was so full afterwards. It was a nice experience. The lobby has a huge seating area that was decorated with this giant christmas tree and there was nice music playing. You could sit there and read or work on your laptop or just enjoy the city views. The staff was nice. If I walked by someone they greeted me and said, "Hello." They even have this thing setup where before you even get there, they will send you a text message asking if you need any help with anything during your stay or if you have any questions. And you can text back and they respond. I've never experienced that before. Even at some of the Vegas hotels. Is that a new thing? It was pretty cool. I didn't over text. I had only one question. I told them I was going to have a late checkin and they texted back saying that was fine and we will see me when I get there. Also I didn't want room service so I left my "do not disturb" sign on the door and they sent me a text saying, "Just confirming you don't want room service. If you don't then there's no need to reply. If you do let us know." You are in the middle of downtown. Right by that giant Skyscraper that changes colors as well as the giant building with the ball on top. I don't know how nice of an area that is. I mean it's downtown. So at night I would be mindful of being there at night. But I didn't run into any problems. This will definitely be my go-to hotel in Dallas. I highly recommend. There's so many amenities there you can stay there the whole time and not really feel a need to go anywhere else. Although it can be a bit more pricey. But you are worth it. So I would say save the extra bit of money to treat yourself.

Yelp
So, I did a Staycation here in June 2021and Had a blast! The room was on point, the bathroom is what i loved the most. The lighting for the mirror and have the option to watch TV in the rest as well was a nice touch. The staff was friendly and upbeat. The roof top pool was Electric!!! Nice view of the city, it was clean and well maintained. The bar staff up star very accommodating and they drinks was at a decent price point as well. They also have great restaurant inside the hotel as well so if you chose to din in you will be in good hands. I enjoyed my stay here, and i would most definitely go back for more!!

Yelp
I literally just got off the phone with Kashona, the front desk associate at the Omni, I initially called to be transferred to reservations, but after a horrible experience with the person in reservations, I decided to call back, and Kashona answered the phone again, nit inky was she polite, she remembered my voice. She was very patient with me as I explained my situation, and empathize with me. She asked me to hold on as she looked into my situation further and came back with the assistance I needed!! I wasn't asking for a lot, but for her to be so kind and understanding meant the world to me! I then spoke to her boss to share my appreciation, and she too was extremely pleasant!! Omni, Dallas you get 5 stars for hiring Kashona!! The world needs more people like her in customer service!!

Yelp
this hotel was great. Beautiful hotel front desk is absolutely awesome. The people are so friendly and kind when you walk in you feel welcome; valet workers nice and courteous. I felt very safe here.

Yelp
The room is regular. Nothing extra about it. I don't understand the point of a minibar freg that is empty. They need to add extra outlets for convenience (2024 this should be a standard thing) but what really pissed me off is downstairs at the front desk I just checked in and 20 mins later I went downstairs and forgot my key in the doorway. When checking in the front desk should ask if the two people they see in front of them both names to be on the room. Went to the same girl and she was unhelpful by all means with assisting me getting a new key. Both of them actually. Writing as I am waiting in the lobby pissed at such an inconvenience.

Yelp
We stayed for one night at this hotel and based on the payment ($536 for one room 2 persons without breakfast) we were expecting at least a quality comparable to a 4-5 stars hotel, unfortunately except location everything was at 2-3 stars level, the water was cold and we couldn't take a shower, they charged for wifi, they told us that hotel's latte machine was broken so they had only black coffee, lobby and elevators were crowded and enough space was not available for people, minibar and fridge were empty, next time that I'm going to Dallas for sure I won't go to this hotel.

Yelp
The Omni Dallas hotel is in the center of downtown Dallas. The downtown area is a bit sketchy due to the homeless that are found near the hotel. My gf didn't feel very safe walking alone, especially at night. Upon arriving we were welcomed with smiles. Checking in was a breeze. Our room didn't have much of a view, but it did have a variety of amenities. Two bottles of water, tea & coffee were waiting for us. Which were replaced daily and upon request. The room had a mini fridge to keep some of our items cold. The vent for the room sits over one of the two beds we had in the room. When the air was on, you could feel it blowing on you while in bed. The bathroom had single serving sized body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. The toilet had a long crack at the bottom of it which was a bit odd. It may be the reason every time I flushed a burst of water would shoot upward like a bidet would, but this was not a bidet. The pool is located outside on the 4th floor. It was still warm enough for pool goers to enjoy a brisk swim. The gym also is on the 4th floor. The convention walkway is located on the 2nd floor. This enables guests to walk straight to the convention center without ever having to go outside. Plenty of eateries to grab food and drink. Morsel's is a small coffee shop that is open for a limited time. Next to it is a small store you can grab things. Including a $4 candy bar if you're not up for a walk down the street to the local 7-11. One of the things that did bother us during our stay was the interactive use of Hulu, Netflix and a few other streaming services. Unfortunately it did not work for us. We followed the instructions, but no luck. We've done this at other hotel properties and elsewhere without issue. Sadly though here, no luck. We called downstairs to troubleshoot, but no progress was made. We eventually gave up on it. We didn't park, but I can only imagine how expensive it would be to park there. The hotel is split into two elevator areas which is separated by floors. In the elevator shafts where my floor was located had some sketchy elevators. Lots of noise and creeking as it went up/down. One even stalled to open/close several times. This was the least favorite part of our trip as we weren't certain if the elevator would fail. The hotel is centralized to the downtown area.
