Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza

Very friendly front office lady (Ivonne). She was extremely patient. Took the time to explain everything. Gave us two connected rooms. Treated our children nicely. The valet guys were always courteous. The cleaning maids were prompt and helpful. Overall an amazing experience at the heart of LA downtown.

It was a wonderful experience overall. The Omni is in an excellent location in downtown Los Angeles with easy access to several Metro stops and even easier access to several major downtown attractions. The staff was uniformly and refreshingly professional. The rooms were spacious, clean and the baths were equipped with both a tub and a stand alone shower. The Noe restaurant was quite good. My son and I both enjoyed it. I would definitely stay there again.

I came here for brunch at the restaurant and met up with my family. Valet parking was $20 with validation. The restaurant was $75 per person. Pricey, but it can be worth it depending on what you get. It's all you can eat with a variety of options. Chefs at the ready to make omelets, fried rice, and slice up some prime rib. Live Jazz band to set a relaxing and soothing mood.

We stayed here to check out downtown LA and attend a Dodgers game with friends. Staff at the porte cochere, front desk, and restaurants were very good. Breakfasts at the Grand Cafe was good but a late dinner at Noe was nothing special. Great location very close to the Broad and MOCA museums, Disney Concert Hall, and Grand Central Market.||We're particular with hotel rooms and although the room was very clean and finishes were fresh the underlying age of the room shows, e.g. small lav/sink counter, dark shower with old plumbing spraying too much water, yellow/brown from age fire alarm and flasher.

My husband and I chose the Omni for its convenience in relation to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.||We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely atmosphere, the ambiance and the comfortable rooms.||We took the Angel Flight railroad, adjacent to the hotel, down to the Grand Central Market, a beehive of food stalls to please any pallet. We enjoyed the Opera and then a nightcap in the third floor bar. An added amenity is a hotel car, available first come first served between 7 and 10 pm. We look forward to our next stay at the Omni Los Angeles.

From the moment we pulled up in front of the hotel, the hotel staff was welcoming, friendly, professional, and helpful. Valet, Doorman, Reception/Check-in staff all greeted us and answered all of our questions. The hotel itself and the room was very clean. The room was very roomy, plenty of space. The bathroom was large with a separate bath tub and also a shower stall. Water pressure was good, and the water stayed hot throughout our showers. The views of downtown LA were beautiful. Plenty of outdoor places to walk through and enjoy. Plenty of places to take beautiful pictures. The area is safe and clean. Plenty of places to dine or enjoy a few drinks. I really appreciated the extra security features, although you will always need your room key handy to use the elevators or to come back into the hotel from the outside court area on the second floor. Family friendly hotel with an outdoor giant chess board, corn hole, giant connect four games. The Angel Flight Trolly will take you down to more restaurants and more sightseeing areas. I highly recommend Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza.

The employees are what make this hotel. Prime Hendrix at the front desk always sees to my every need. Charles and Victor in Valet always have a smile for you, and Robert and Oscar will happily drive you where you need to go if you use their services. While the rooms could use a smidgen of updating, they are extremely clean and comfortable and the hospitality and service is second to none. Omni DTLA is a hidden gem with its convenient location, car service to local destinations, and proximity to museums and amazing restaurants.

Here for a conference and lucky me, I booked the Omni. Adam the bellman was extraordinarily patient and helpful. George the front desk manager gave me VERY early check-in, despite my not asking for it. (I was prepared to store my bags and go.) James at NOE Bar is a real asset. My room was lovely and the housekeeping was exceptional. Every staff member was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Really a great experience.
