Omni Tucson National Resort & Spa

Like some of the other Omni locations, this resort has a great golf course. Grounds provide for a relaxing walk with fresh air. Views of the mountains are endless. We stayed at one of the Haciendas. Plenty of space. Ours had a larger refrigerator in the kitchenette as well. I was disappointed with the coffee machine and pod selection. Should've brought my own. Most places have upgraded to Nespresso machines. This resort has pod machines with low end, subpar coffee. I suggest getting your coffee through room service or going down to the cafe onsite. The closet is walk in and they have another separate coat closet as you walk in. Remote controlled fireplace was cozy for our winter nights. I did appreciate the larger windows throughout. The bathrooms were nice although beware that you need to run your shower for a bit in order to get hot water. I found it difficult to locate the room service menu on the website, but when we finally ordered and received it, we were pleased. I was not able to use the spa credit I paid for up front because they had no appointments and Bob's steakhouse is not open every day. Plan accordingly! Bartender at the lounge was courteous and had great suggestions. We enjoyed shuffleboard and pool table at Legends and their wait staff is attentive. Food was tasty! They are also pet friendly! The location of hotel worked out great for shopping. Just a short drive to some great sites.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Omni. The rooms are super big, love the cute little balcony, the grounds are insanely beautiful, the staff is wonderful, and the spa is excellent (if getting a massage, ask for Clarissa). Honestly the only thing we didn’t try on the grounds was the food (because it’s so close to everything in Tuscon so it’s not a huge trek to go get food off premises) but I imagine if the standard of service is this high for the resort, the restaurants are also 👍🏻. The Omni made it hard to want to leave. Absolutely would stay here again!!

We had a great time at this resort. The walk to our room wasn't short, but we really enjoyed the multiple fire pits and fire places between our room and the parking lot. The pool was open every single day, despite low temperatures, but seemed really warm. Our room really spacious with a nice back deck.

If I could give more stars, I would. We celebrated our wedding and my birthday at the Omni Tucson. I know there were lots of other guests at the property, but the staff made us feel like we were the only ones there. They were always a step ahead of us, celebrating us everywhere. Even when I scheduled my own reservation at the steak house, without using the concierge. They were prepared for us before we got there! I was brought to tears on our last day from how special they made me feel on my birthday. I will always remember this weekend for the rest of my life. Thank you Omni staff!!! We can’t wait to celebrate with you guys every anniversary. Oh and the food and drinks were also mouthwatering delicious too!

My husband and I stayed at the Omni Tucson over the weekend since we were participating in El Tour de Tucson. The room we had (#423) was spacious, the fireplace and other amenities were perfect for our stay. I appreciated the plant based options at the sports bar, the cauliflower dish was outstanding! I was impressed by the wine by the glass selection and discovered a great Malbec - thanks to my great server. All the staff we interacted with were kind and attentive; just delightful! My husband had a massage and said it was amazing. I highly recommend this resort. It was the perfect stay for us. Thank you Omni Team.

What a wonderful location. The team there is great, the chef is excellent and our group (around 40-50 ppl) had a wonderful time and look forward to the next time we can get back. The staff are very friendly and kind and give the excellent service of hospitality one would want. It's my new favorite stay in the Tucson area. I will definitely be back & want to check out the spa... I can only imagine how wonderful it must be with the rest of the property being so great! I highly recommend.

We stayed at the resort for 7 days for our golf trip and it was a really great decision. The resort had a lot of fun activities and restaurants. We had 4 people on this trip and our favourite was the desert farmer breakfast restaurant, i liked the strawberry waffles the best. They have a bar also along with a full day restaurant. The resort had amazing view of the course because we stayed in room 161 and 163. Really nice rooms and clean. The billiards was really fun along with the shuffleboard located inside the restaurants. Very Good!!!!

**This review is regarding Omni as a wedding venue** We had our wedding at The Omni Tucson (10/25/25), and while the resort is beautiful and the resort staff were great during our stay, we can’t recommend Omni as a wedding venue due to certain mishaps during the planning process and the wedding day itself. Communication during planning with the catering sales manager was consistently slow. Simple requests such as updated floor plans and BEOs required multiple follow-ups on our end. Most clarification questions we had needed to be constantly run by upper management, causing delays with decisions we had to make with other vendors. The wedding planner we hired, who has worked with other major Tucson resort venues, echoed these same concerns. She repeatedly struggled to get clear answers from The Omni throughout the planning process. There were also struggles during the wedding day set up: issues with the requested linens, napkin folds, and damaged tables. During our reception, the DJ booth lost power multiple times — including during our grand entrance and multiple times during dancing. The bar stocked drinks we did not order despite written confirmation on the BEO (which did not match what was noted on the custom bar signage we had ordered). Cake-cutting utensils weren’t provided on time (which was indicated in the final timeline our planner had sent to all vendors), which pushed back our timeline. Vendor meals were also very delayed. These issues, combined with months of disorganized communication for both us and our planner, made the experience fall below what we expected from a venue at this price point. Pros: the kitchen did an excellent job with the food, and the resort staff members (golf cart attendants, bartenders, etc.) were kind and helpful during our stay. We sent a more detailed email to the GM in the hopes that the resort takes this feedback seriously, and implements better systems and wedding-specific training so future couples do not experience what we did. The Omni is a beautiful resort, and has the potential to be a great venue with the appropriate changes.

We came in today to do a special personal day for our birthdays idea. Gather information now. We toured the spa, gym and the pool. All nice, the pool was pretty crowded and a bit loud. No swimmers. Everything is done standing in the four foot pool and chatting, some with drinks. Lots of bikinis. So a more stand and dunk theme. Full bar and cabanas at the pool. Looked nice n clean. Not quite what I thought a full day might look like. Carry on..

We just spent the last two nights at this Omni Tucson property. The service, the room quality, food options were excellent! We will def be back as I come to Tucson for work often but like to bring my wife and child. Thank you to the entire staff for always making sure we were taken care of.

We had a great stay there in March 2024. They renovated last year and the new decor is beautiful! Staff were very friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. Concierge Justin even mixes up custom flavored water in the lobby and there is something new each day. We particularly enjoyed all the amenities onsite, including volleyball, pickleball, and tennis courts, full spa, and two pools. Breakfast at Desert Farmer was delicious. Very quiet place to relax - whether or not you decide to play golf.

Without a doubt the best resort/getaway you could possibly have. Annette the supervisor Extraordinaire is absolutely amazing. Greg and Rose are exemplary as well!! What a stay here at the Omni. Thank you!!!

Yep, three star is about right and especially in comparison to other resorts or options nearby. Buildings are dated but updates made so it's nice but not luxury by any means. Golf is a notch up for sure and 4 stars but food is not grand and it's a remote location so locked into options that aren't worth time, again, compared to other resorts nearby.

I'm notifying folks who want to have a meeting or event here...go for it. Two friends of mine and I put together a milestone birthday party for all three of us and I chose the Omni. We did a combination of afternoon pool, party, and evening event in one of the ballrooms. Their cabana price was very reasonable. The pool is gorgeous, and the food and bar service at the pool was very good. Moriah was my event planner contact there, and she was beyond helpful. They bumped us up to a larger room when they realized they had the space and did not charge us for it. The food was absolutely fabulous. The staff were genuinely hospitable and just NICE. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous lawns, lots of flowers, plenty of space, great views. I think it would be a nice place to have a romantic getaway, too!

This review is only for the restaurant... went here for breakfast on our visit to Tucson and had a great time. The food at the Omni was top notch and staff were great. Prices are reasonable for a resort. I had the Eggs Benedict and it was fantastic. Highly recommended :)

The absolute worst Easter Brunch . Everything was cold, no seafood besides am overcooked salmon. No eggs Benedict , IHOP would have been better. No management asked how we were doing. $95 a plate Lamb was raw and beef was as well. And every side was cold. Not the Tucson National I remember. Horrible.

Had a full spa day. Started at 9:AM, left at 4:PM. The entire staff from the front door, to the restaurant, and the spa was friendly, helpful, professional & very welcoming. Loved the entire experience, the snacks and the Mimosa. Thank you for a great relaxing day.

The customer service was top notch right from walking into the lobby. The staff was so kind, patient and helpful (I left the key in the room twice ). I loved spending the day by the pool where self-serve water was readily available. Our room was immaculate and very large. The grounds and buildings fit into the landscape seamlessly. My husband, an avid golfer, LOVES the golf course. I highly recommend staying here if visiting the Tucson area.

I highly suggest everyone checks the dates of the older not-so-great reviews. We went in April of 2023 and it was truly fantastic. The entire resort has been redone, everything was beautiful, stylish, and immaculate. The icing on the cake is definitely the staff... everyone was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely warm. We had dinner at Bob's Restaurant and sat at the bar, a great vibe and our bartender Nicole was phenomenal! Highly recommended! We will be back.

I was really looking forward to staying at this place for a night. One of the most important factors to me about a place is comfort of the beds and pillows. It I don't get a good night sleep, then to me I will never come back. Sadly I didn't sleep good cause they had terrible pillows. I kept waking up cause I couldn't get comfortable and I woke up with a stiff neck. How does a place like this have such terrible pillows???? Having 12 pillows on the bed does not make up for the comfort.....That is the only complaint about this place. I will have to bring my own pillow next time. The ladies at the front desk were really nice and helpful. The place is really beautiful and really enjoyed everything else about the place .

STAY AWAY. It is highly recommended to stay away from this hotel. Ryan, the General Manager, was unfriendly, unapologetic and careless. When my husband and I, along with our new baby, arrived at the property, we had no idea what a terrible experience we were about to have. Surprisingly, the best part of our 10-minute stay was when we arrived we had to unload our own vehicle. The bellboy was really nice he simply took no initiative to get our stuff out. On our way to the room, while we passed the pool, we noticed about 40 guests smoking marijuana/cigars. I stopped and said OH NO, we can't stay here my baby. He confirmed this was a non smoking hotel, & embarrassed to admit to me - most were non guest with POOL PASSES. I was so furious since we drove 7 hours straight to get here. We had him take our stuff back to the front desk while we waited for a confirmation of refund. I REPEAT - we never made it anywhere inside our room. He told us the manager was busy but he would call my cell the minute it was ready. We had no choice but to grab a bite at their restaurant and while we were waiting the security came down to confirm they were indeed vapping and smoking. Of course they continued smoking and partying. Over an hour later I received a message from the General Manager saying "your refund had been processed". He did not come out of his office to apologize for this great inconvenience while we loaded the car back up. We walked right past his office and he didn't even attempt too. He simply hid behind his computer. What kind of a general manager is that? I wrote him back explaining my disappointment in him - NO RESPONSE. OMNI - REMOVE YOUR NAME FROM THIS HOTEL.

Everything was impeccable, rooms, service, staff, in particular Justin and Boyd! The steakhouse is closed on Sundays, what a bummer.. Golf views were to die for!

NO PEACE HERE! Loud music blares on nearly every inch of this is place. Music so loud and obnoxious you can't have a normal conversation or even hear yourself think. Staff is not allowed to turn it down. The place is beautiful and staff is attentive but the stay is completely diminished by the music screaming from every speaker on the property.

we rented a Casita for nearly $500 a night. the room was sparsely furnished with almost no sitting room other than one small chair and two foot stools. The entry was dirty, lots of leaves and dirt and the toilet didn't flush properly. the room was about 1/4 mile from the lobby and to drive there we had to drive through mud. The adjoining room had noisy workers and a saw set up next to the entry. in my opinion save your money.

The Omni is a very nice experience! First of all, we got a great deal on the room and then we arrived and Kara (one of the front desk clerks - she just moved to Tucson from Martha's Vineyard) upgraded our room for the same rate. We do not know what room we would have originally had but the room we ended up with was really nice! Located in a gated community, beautiful view of the golf course, spacious sleeping area, king size bed, large big screen TV, cozy living room, wash area outside the bathroom, large bathroom with shower and toilet room, large bathtub, and a huge closet. It did appear to me that in order to have little extras in the room like - a microwave, refrigerator, more WiFi options - one could have them but it would add to the cost of the room. Further, these rooms do not include things like complementary breakfast. But there is room service that although I did not try it looked delicious. I would return to this location for sure with travel plans that included resting at the resort. There was a beautiful pool and some really cool fire pits strategically placed. The only downsides - it appears there is lots of nickel and diming here so watch out for that and at night I could hear coyotes - gave me some odd dreams! All in all, a great experience.

Second time here. Second time they pulled a bait and switch in overpriced room. First time booked a casita, for a regular room due to "overbooking. This time, booked a king for my boyfriend and I and got 2 doubles. Called as soon as we entered the room to ask to be moved to what I booked. They said they could not...once again, overbooked. Picture of what an @overbooked" hotel parking lot looks like is attached. Also...zero peace!!! They pump in loud music on the property beginning at 8:30am. Forget sleeping in, forget an afternoon nap, forget nature. There are oddly no outlets in the rooms either. So using laptop or charging phone at night by the e bed is not an option. Last attempt here. Only tried again due to a conference

The grounds of this so called resort are falling apart. Walking around the golf course you will see poorly maintained sidewalks and plenty of cones covering cracks and hazards. If you drive the roads around the upper and lower lots, you will encounter pot holes, rough roads and no lane lines. Not sure where all the money they charge goes, but seems to be a bunch of cheap owners. Also, way too many golf carts speeding and members of the organizers of the golf tournament can easily be spotted with beers in the carts and in their mouths as they drive around looking official.

Nice place with plenty to do without leaving the resort. Would definitely stay here again next time we're in Tucson.

I can only speak to the spa, pool and cabana bar/restaurant but it was a nice escape. My girlfriends and I decided to visit to celebrate a 30th birthday. We started the day off at the spa with mani/pedis. With only 2 nail techs, our appointments were staggered but it gave us each time to enjoy the amenities (sauna, steam room and whirlpool). The towel rack and shoes were stocked along with feminine products. My only complaint is we did not readily have access to robes and when I asked the woman at the front desk for some, she said they were being laundered only to bring me some a few moments later. My nail tech was Mary and I thoroughly enjoyed my services with her. The exfoliation, lotion massages and hot towels were enough to put me to sleep. I did receive a $10 discount for getting a mani/pedi but I would still say the services are somewhat overpriced for the quality of the polish itself (missing some spots on my nail and a girlfriends acrylic had air bubbles). The pool was busy but we were still able to find chairs. There were some pesky ducks trying to turn the pool into their pond, which some guests didn't enjoy. I found it humorous. The food was fresh and fast. I think my salad was the enchilada and if you enjoy spicy foods, I highly recommend it. The frosé was strong and refreshing. They do have cups and water set out which is much needed during 100 degree days. With the change in CDC recommendations, hardly any guests were wearing masks. Staff in the spa, at the front desk and bar did though. I believe they offer day passes, which has my girlfriends and I talking about which resort to visit next. Overall, it was a relaxing way to spend 5 hours on a Saturday.

I am so happy that I have finally stayed at this resort after years of intending to do so. Other than being on the premises a few times over the years, I knew of the Tucson National as the place my parents held their wedding reception back in 1988. I turned out to have a fantastic five night stay. There's a lot to unpack here, so I'm going to get started all while my suitcase will sit in the corner of my bedroom nearly untouched for the next week. Let's start with the overall location and common areas. The homes right next to the resort, as well as all the grounds and buildings are a sight for sore eyes let me tell you; the property is an absolute beaut. It's one of the only local resorts that don't heavily play up the rustic, desert theme. As an AZ native, the rustic AZ stuff starts to feel cliche after awhile. There are a few cacti and native plants around , Mexican tile in the restrooms, and an awesome mountain view to remind you that you're in Tucson, but it's mostly palm trees, flowers and grass outside the Spanish-style buildings. I did not get to try the pool or spa services but it all looked very nice. The lobby was probably last remodeled in the early 90s like others have complained about ad nauseum, but the marble floors, dramatic staircase, plants, and very cool detailing made up for that. Plus, despite the age, nothing was rundown or in disrepair in that area. I really liked the staff, which is atypical as that is in area in which I usually find fault in these resort hotels. They were friendly as can be--even the guard gate operators. They are responsive too--there was a fire department Christmas party one night, where several got drunk and thought it would be a good idea to strip into their underpants at 11 pm and dive into the pool in 43 degree weather. Security was on it promptly, and nipped that in the bud before it got out of hand. Now on to the room--I was EXTREMELY impressed with the size and features for the price. It was right on the golf course, and offered a great view of that, as well as the Santa Catalina Mountans. The rooms have definitely been touched renovation-wise within the last decade, and everything was in great shape; I encountered none of the severe maintenance problems that others did, but those seem to be isolated to the casita rooms which indeed have not had any meaningful update since the 90s, and are not being rented out at this time. There is storage galore in these rooms: tons of drawers, and a very large (for a standard hotel room), walk-in closet. Most of the lights had dimmer switches, and the room has plenty of places to sit: a sofa, and two club chairs in addition to the desk chair, and beds. The television was just the right size for adequate viewing from anywhere. The bathroom was really nice too. The beds succeeded at being everything to everyone. The beds had just the right amount of firmness and softness with a nice, springy feel. As for COVID protocols, they had the usual room service menu that has to be accessed with a QR code, and they were a bit skimpy on bath products, towels, writing utensils, and coffee/tea; being the second time I've stayed in a hotel since COVID hit the fan, this has become the norm. We did ask for more, and they delivered. They had stickers on the hotel lobby entry door that they're AZ clean certified and not to enter if you feel ill, and tons of hand sanitizer, but mask usage throughout the property was next to non-existent. Because I believe opinions on COVID protocols tend to be politically-driven, I am declining to state my opinion, and instead will be giving you, the reader, the opportunity to construct your own opinion on the matter based on the info that I am providing. As far as complaints, there are only a few. The first one is about television programming--it isn't fantastic. They have one HBO channel, but no pay-per-view in theater movies, ability to use streaming services, or ability to view the bill, TV listings, or in-room dining menu on the TV--most hotels of this caliber have something like this. The channels seem geared towards news and sports with some channels not having any audio at all. These rooms could also benefit from a mini bar or very small fridge--none of which were present, and that was surprising in an otherwise feature-filled room. I did not dine at Bob's this trip, or have room service but did dine at Legends, and thfood8i was very good. Refer to that restaurant's page for my review. To say that I was bummed to have to go back home is a gross understatement. I could definitely see myself in the future, and I do recommend it to anyone who appreciates a very nice setting.

This review is mainly for the Spa we did not get a room at the hotel. When we checked in at the Spa, wearing masks, they did Not check our temperatures. My cousin was getting a massage and I just wanted a day pass and I was told that normally they don't allow day pass users on Friday and Saturday but she was going to do me a favor. The spa associate seemed more concerned about me paying my $25 day pass fee which I normally pay at the end of my day not at the very beginning. We were provided a robe but no slippers or spa shoes were available. You must ask for a shower towel and I was informed that gym towels were also not provided. Sadly, they did not inform us until we arrived that they are not accepting cash either. Would have been nice when we made our appointment to be informed of all these little technicalities. The relaxing room where you wait for treatment did not have any refreshments like tea or water. The water coolers had no cups available. The dressing area that normally has sanitized combs or brushes, hairspray, body lotion -- none of that was available. They informed us that the amenities that they normally provide in the shower area were not in the shower area - you had to request them at the front desk (shampoo, body wash). My cousin enjoyed her 50 minute birthday spa package massage. We enjoyed the indoor jacuzzi but the cold plunge was not open or available. We enjoyed the sauna and the steam room. We were wearing our robes and swimsuits and heading out to the pool when the same spa associate interrupted us and said, oh well we can take care of your bill now. We were both startled -- we're not done yet. We weren't leaving, we were going to enjoy the pool have some lunch and a cocktail and then return to shower and change, But she's was still trying to take care of the Bill right that moment. My cousin declined her rude and abrupt offer and we continued to the pool. We enjoyed our lunch and cocktail pool side which is only available Friday Saturday and Sunday. The pool's open but you can't have poolside service unless it's Friday Saturday or Sunday. We had a great time despite the lack of amenities and services normally provided by the spa and the rather rude spa associate. We will return but will ask more questions before we book a service.

Easter Brunch 2023 - Absolute awful. Worst brunch I've ever had. All the meats served were horribly dried out - looked like leather. Fruit consisted of melon slices - nothing else. Had a very minimal make-your-own-salad bar with unwashed spinach. Zero other salad options. Deviled eggs and desserts look like they sat out for several hours - dried out and warm. Couldn't even eat the desserts they were so bad. Mimosas were warm. No fresh-squeezed juice. The blueberry, strawberry, and chocolate chip pancakes were literally trays of plain pancakes with a handful of dry berries or chips thrown across the tray. Absolutely terrible food and lousy service.

We stayed for two days in their "best" category of room: "Premier Room, 1 King Bed (Mountain Vista Room)." And indeed, the room was spacious. It was at ground level. Which was the first problem, the stomping from our upstairs neighbor was annoying. But let's start with check-in,which went quickly. The bell captain and his assistant were great, taking our bags to the room, showing us around and bringing us a starting bucket of ice. We were near the pool which was exceptional and rarely had more than a few people in it, except the first night with some noisy teens. Also a plus was there was covered parking which was great as the temps were nearly 110. However, we had some issues which really set a poor tone for such a nice resort. First, the "resort fee" covered "high speed Internet" but at barely 2mbs. Second, the only drinkware in the room were two black coffee mugs. When I called to see if we could get some tumblers or larger glasses, was told "we'll see what we can do" but nothing ever happened. Third, on the first morning I went to use the coffee maker and found the reservoir (tank you put fresh water in) was already half full. Dumping it out in the sink I found it was full of moldy coffee. I went to the front desk and they said they'd provide a clean maker, which we did find in our room when we returned (but the dirty one was left behind). So did have coffee the second morning. Fourth, we ordered room service breakfast the first morning (expensive, $77 for two but we knew that from the menu so not really an issue). They messed up the order by getting the bagel type wrong, and omitting a muffin. I called the desk and they did send someone with correct items. I should have said to skip the muffin. It was $5 and laughably small - about the size of the two 1oz. cream cheese tubs stacked on top of each other. 1.5 inches in diameter and height. One bite basically, and dry. Fifth, when returning to our room after the first day we found housekeeping had not serviced the room. Not terrible, though you expect to get what you pay for. However, that meant our breakfast dishes were still in the room. I called the desk and said I would leave them outside the room but only if someone would pick them up soon as "outside the room" is really outdoors and there is plenty of critters who would like to help clean up those dishes. I broke a plate getting the tray outside, sorry Omni. Sixth, poor power outlet accessibility at the desk. There was a power strip on the front edge of the desk but it was dead. Hands and knees time. Service of this quality is not a surprise at bargain hotels, but here it was disappointing.

A beautiful property right in Tucson. We were staying for a conference. The rooms are spacious. Ours had it's own seating area in the bedroom space. There was a full walk-in closet. Separate shower and soaking tub. The pool area was truly gorgeous. It was a bit cold when we visited. But, it was a scenic setting. There are several restaurants/bars on property in addition to a large golf club.

I've stayed here, done treatments at the spa, and attended events here over the years. The hotel is due for an update. The rooms are reminiscent of a Courtyard Marriott and I've come to expect more from the Omni brand. For the price, I'd by far recommend the Starr Pass JW Marriott over this location. Location wise, you are very far from downtown amenities or even food options. Their golf course is very high quality. Beautiful views and a challenging course. The spa massage therapists and facial aestheticians are high quality. I love how cheap their spa is. I've definitely done stay cation day spa activities here with my friends just purely for the low cost and high quality services. They're pool has no view, but it does have a nice bar and service is great. (Groupon has some great deals time to time also). All in all, I wouldn't choose to stay here frequently but will definitely be back for their golf course and spa services.

Looking for a budget-friendly staycation for the whole family? Pretty resort with a great pool. Yummy drinks and food at the poolside bar. They have a spa and restaurant. Legends had a good breakfast buffet [but a bit overpriced - which is to be expected] Last time I came, they had very affordable rates on the casitas. I will not sugar coat this. The casitas are dated 1980s and have not been renovated. This will not be a luxury room. Furniture and kitchen will be outdated. But we like this because the kids sleep on the pull out couch. We get a little privacy this way, the queen bed has a little privacy and its own tv. The small kitchen is super convenient. You can easily cook breakfast and make sandwiches for a quick lunch if keeping costs down is your thing! The pool is Affordable weekend for the family that loves love hanging poolside.

*This review is about the salon only* I went here with a small group of friends for a bachelorette weekend. Most of the ladies used a Groupon for massages and enjoyed their experiences immensely. However, I and one other friend decided to get our nails done instead. She got a pedicure ($60) and I got a manicure and pedicure ($106). The whole process took over two hours and was horrible. First, I was told that it would be a $15 charge to remove the gel polish I already had on even though I was getting new gel polish to replace it (this is something I have never been charged for before, but whatever not a huge deal). However, Mary, my nail technician, seemed annoyed that she would have to take the gel off and was pretty rude the rest of the session. I decided against getting gel polish since I was already paying more for my manicure and chose a regular polish. The pedicure started off okay. But it took about an hour and both my and my friend's technician had to go back to take off the nail polish that ended up all over the skin around our toenails. As annoying as this all was, it wasn't even the worst part. After the pedicure, Mary who was already annoyed with me started to take my gel polish off. She didn't soak my nails long enough so she had to scrape the gel off and ended up taking a lot of my nail with it. She filed them down and started to paint. She definitely rushed putting the layers on because, as you can see, a bunch of bubbles formed. She, again, got polish all over the skin around my nails and went back to take take it off. However, as evidenced by the photos a lot was left on. So it's been 6 hours later and the polish on my cuticles is still there, the bubbles are very noticeable and there are already chips on the edges. For $106 I at the very least expected a relaxing experience and decent mani/pedi. Instead I got a passable pedicure and a manicure that my 8 year old niece could have done better which will probably come off in 2 days. Don't waste your time or money and go get a normal $20 manicure instead.

Sizable room, friendly staff but undergoing remodeling so no fitness center and the website says the Desert Farmer restaurant was open as of December 29 but that is not true. Coffee in both room and Terracotta Cafe is not good. good coffee is important to us but apparently not management here

This is my 2nd unfavorable experience with an Omni property. My husband was driving to Tucson to pick up a classic car. I decided to come with him and make a mini-vacation out of it with a "pool day" and a "spa day". The ONLY 2 reasons I came on this trip. I made my reservations online, and purchased a spa package for massage and facial. We arrived on a Friday about 11:30 pm, for a 3-night stay, driving in from So Cal, and were greeted by friendly staff. We were exhausted, and slept rather well that night. Except the heavy footsteps from the upstairs neighbor. The room itself is why I gave a 3-star for it was spacious and clean, with a nice bathroom and tub. The grounds were spacious and landscapes nicely, though it is quite a walk from the parking to your room. Saturday we went to the pool, there was no seating available, and cabanas were booked for the day and the next, so we put our name on a waitlist & stood around until we got some seats. The cabana bar did not carry non-alcoholic beer for my husband, and the food was sub-par and rather bland. Though the misters were nice and cool. When leaving the pool, we went to the spa to make my appointment for the package I purchased, only to be informed that the only services that were being offered was hair and nails - which I did not need done. I was extremely disappointed and quite frustrated, as the only 2 reasons I came were now unavailable, and they shouldn't have sold me a spa package online if it wasn't being offered. My husband spoke to the manager and she offered to pay for our meal that night. Early evening, we took a walk around the property, and decided to get some food to go. We went to the grill, but it was the same menu from the cabana bar, so we went to their upscale restaurant Bob's chophouse. My husband ordered one of their more reasonably priced steaks (a $55 12-ounce filet mignon), which came with a single glazed carrot, and baked potato with all the fixings. Me, being a 39-year vegetarian, ordered a salad, smashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese, with a glass of wine. As we were waiting in the reception area, the nice steward brought me a glass on the house and water for my husband (because they did not have any NA beer for him either). We got our food, signed for the bill at the tune of $130, and returned the long walk back to the room, where the guy felt bad & gave us the rest of the bottle of wine I had ordered. We get there, and the fixings for the baked potato were not included in the bag, so I ate my salad while he went back. His steak was tough (he wanted it with no pink), and the carrot which he gave me a bite of was delicious. I took one bite of my oddly-colored macaroni (that had little gray specks in it), and immediately spit it out & rinsed my mouth out. It tasted like some sort of fish! We tried calling the restaurant several times to ask them what the hec was in the mac, but could never get someone to answer. So..... no spa, no cabana, bad food, noisy upstairs neighbors, we checked out & went home a day early. Something I have NEVER done before. The manager DID comp our $130 meal, and the front desk staff was very friendly & apologetic, but there was no one available to help us with our luggage, so my husband did it all. My second, and my last trip to an Omni resort.

Luxury Hotel in Tucson AZ. Gorgeous and large facility of hotel resorts place. Golf courses & a spa, 2 outside pools, 3 restaurants & a fitness room with mountain views. Check in the main Hotel. After that you drive to your suite number and parked front of suite. It look like a town house. There are another door when you enter the suites. Go to your number door to open the door and enter. Nice space of room, & cozy deluxe bathroom and closets, & bedroom. *Just mentioned shower curtain was too short and didn't cover the unit. So you'll see wet floors after used shower. * they charged Resort fee extra Other than I really relaxing here and good choice of hotel.

Really disappointed about our stay. We new the spa would be closed for construction but they aren't doing room service and there hasn't been anyone tending the bar by the pool. This is a frickin omni resort and I feel like I'm at a holiday inn. Not worth the money at all.

Cannot believe this is an Omni property! We have a casita that is in dire need of a face lift and a deep cleaning. The bathroom is terrible! A disgusting bathtub and shower complete with a shower head that is not adjustable in any way and is guaranteed to spray water everywhere. When the hot water is turned on at the sink, the water leaks out from under the cold water knob. The "kitchen" has an old refrigerator and a lame microwave. Empty cabinets with no dishes, cup, etc. In the sleeping area there are two narrow drawers not suitable for clothing storage at all. The armoire has a tiny TV and no shelves or drawers for storage. The carpeting and upholstery pieces all are stained. This is a high priced hotel--$25 a person for breakfast and we couldn't even get was waited on for lunch. We were locked out of our room and had to drive up to the main building to get new keys-- we are not looking forward to the remainder of our stay. We will not stay here Part two: we had to go to get keys 4 times--the last time they had to replace the door lock. Nobody ever told maintenance of the issue. The phone never worked after two days of them "working" on it. Had to have the microwave replace because it had a hole in the glass!!! Discovered this after using it! Hubby went to complain to manager and was offered a free drink. We will revisit our billing upon checkout. Photos of hole in microwave and stain on carpeting

Perfect place if you want to time travel to 1980s, which was last time casitas were updated. Carpet and paint is tired and shabby, but accommodation are spacious. Everything is well worn. Features include blaring fluorescent lights, Formica counter tops, and tube TVs.

Very disappointed. I thought that's an omni hotel! Dirt everywhere in the room , they clean the room but didn't empty the trash in the bedroom and when I called they said u didn't tell us to do so ! Poor customer service. I switched-to a good hotel after one night stay.

We were able to secure a villa for a really good deal. $260 for 3 nights. The villa is large. Comes with a living room, full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave and refrigerator. The bedroom is large with a king size bed. The bathroom had dual vanities. The villa is far from the main building which had pluses and minuses to it. It's far from the restaurants, gym and spa. You have to drive to the main building if you want to visit any of these amenities. The villa is comfortable but outdated. Kind of 80's Southwest decor. It's clean just dated. Overall it was a great deal and one of the better places to stay in the area. I would definitely come back if we can get another deal like this.

This rating is for the resort only. We had a hacienda that was great space wise, but the shower was leaking at the faucet area, the bathtub was dirty, stove very old so is the oven. The lighting in the shower/bathroom was dim at best, very poor lighting. This place needs some major remodeling. The furniture is very old and uncomfortable in the living room, I can go on and on.

A great place to stay. The landscaping is beautiful, the resort is quiet, peaceful, making this an overall a nice little getaway whether you're going alone, as a couple, or with family. We stayed here 4 years ago and loved it and we decided to come back recently. One of the best things for us is that they have pet friendly units. The hacienda style rooms are wonderful if you have a little family and are visiting with a pet. There is a small kitchen with stove, fridge, sink, and microwave and the nice thing is that there's a small living room. The bedroom is in a separate room and the bathroom can be accessed from no Th the bedroom and hallway with private doors. Travelling with a toddler and small dog it was nice to have the fenced-in front patio (which is also how you enter the room). It was nice to sit out there while my son and pup played and we were able to take in the pretty views of the neighborhood and golf course. Another nice thing is that you can take a nice stroll on the paved areas o me the golf course. I wanted to give this resort 5 stars due to our first stay and how much we enjoyed it last time, plus their awesome spa, however I'm not sure what has or hasn't happened in this resort the last 4 years. I was debating whether 3 or 4 stars but this resort was so convenient that I was willing to overlook certain things. The 4 stars or 3.5 ate mostly due to the lack of maintenance in the rooms. Many of the amenities were really outdated and the bathroom could use some TLC. In particular the tub floor looked dirty and therefore made the whole thing feel dirty. The floor had grayish smudges and when water runs on the floor you can just see that it's probably dirty/greasy or needs replacing. The appliances were old and the carpeting in our room had some tears. Some of the blinds were nonfunctional because they were missing a part. The room just looked like it was done in the 90s and stayed there. I have so many suggestions for ways they can improve the room, (like maybe doing away with all the carpetting). Overall in spite of everything we didn't spend too much time in the rooms, it was just an excellent way to house our family for the long weekend. In the morning I recommend taking a nice walk (back up the hill road haha) to their main building and checking out Fiesta Restaurant for breakfast the staff is wonderful there and will take great care of You.

The Omni was a beautiful stay with awesome views and spacious villas. I did the spa which was a nice experience but pricy, to be expected. The breakfast was expensive but great and enjoyable and the restaurant had a wonder jumbo shrimp cocktail. We enjoyed the fire pit lounge area right by our room and the large pool.

I was in the older room and the room was NOT clean. there was still hairs and sprinkles in the bed sheet, and someone left an underwear in the corner!! the lamps in the bathroom has 2 inches of dirt on it (with hairs and other "goodies") - probably NEVER clean it before. I told the front desk and the second day it's still the same - underwear still there and lamp still dirty. When i checked out, the front desk checked me out to a wrong room and ended up charged my credit card twice. so i had to call them to reversal the charges. i would never want to go back to that place anymore.

Filthy. And don't pay for an upgrade because a Mountain View isn't guaranteed and when I complained I was told I could be "down graded" to a nicer room

The employees were very nice. The pool was great. Nicely heated and we were there when it was completely empty. That's really all I can say that's good about this place. The mattress was terrible! It was clearly old and had indents that made it extremely uncomfortable. We both woke up with back pain. The other furniture could use an upgrade. You could hear everything in the room. Every single person that walked by, all of their conversations. The people above us woke up at 3am and sounded like they were running back and forth in their room for an hour. There was some sound like a washing machine or maybe the pool filter that was very loud all night long. We heard multiple dogs barking in the night. Overall just a terrible experience. I bought on a third party site and paid $150. That was even too much for this place.

This turned out to be one of the more luxurious hotel stays I've experienced in life. The Omni is running a spa relaxation package, which comes with the choice of either a 50 minute massage or a 50 minute facial. Um... fabulous off season deal!!! You also have the option of a king or two queen beds. I was a little put off when I arrived because the valet was not available and the check in process began literally as I was walking toward the greeting desk. I tend to be very highly sensitive to the check-in experience because it can very often set the stage for the rest of a stay. Still, I appreciate it that there were actually desks and seats provided, and the entire process was swift. Took about eight minutes or so to check in, get my questions answered and get oriented with directions. And to my surprise, I was upgraded. What?! The woman taking care of my check in told me that there had been a last-minute decision to upgrade my room because I had gone with the spa package. They were not maxed out on capacity, so I image they saw it fit to do something extra special for a guest! How amazing is that! I was so excited and grateful! I went immediately to my room. I walked in and was surprised to find an actual foyer. The room, a king suite off the golf course greens, was split into four main sections. It was like an upscale apartment. There was the large, plush king bed with the most comfortable pillows. I had a living room and a kitchenette area fit for entertaining. I had a spacious bathroom with a sizable bathtub and standing shower. Then there is the walk in closet and also a vanity space toward the entrance to prepare for the afternoon and evening out. I also had a small patio with an adorable table and two chairs. I set up camp there for a while and did some reading and enjoyed some wine. Next, was the spa service. I went with the massage and worked with Sandy G. It was the absolute best massage I have ever had, and one of my top three spa services to date. Actually, maybe top two. Sandy is very highly skilled and not just in the area of massage therapy, but also seemingly in energy work. I arrived with so much stress and tension, but then I left feeling that I would float away. I felt as though I had just exited a pretty extensive meditation session. The spa is a nice size. There is room for moving and breathing in the changing area. There is also a sauna and steam room. Strangely, you have to run walk through the sauna to reach the steam room. Also, there are large showers that are wheelchair accessible. The Jacuzzi is set to a perfect temperature. But the jets are poorly directed. They don't send water out In a steady stream; the water sort of blubbers along the edge. The cold plunge is 4 feet deep and was absolutely perfect. The Omni has two pools: one is located near most of the rooms and also the golf court. That's a big draw for families and children. There is also a bar there. The other is over toward the back, where the casitas and homes are located. That one is far more secluded and tends to draw adults only. It's only 5 feet deep and has a tiny waterfall, which is nice. There is also a Jacuzzi as well as bathrooms there. The Omni also offers a suite of services and events. On my particular visit, there was a stargazing event. Was tons of fun and very informative! I got to see nebula, Saturn, Mars and a whole host of other celestial bodies. It was the perfect night for it, too. The moon was set for a late rise and you could actually see the Milky Way directly above. Such a wonderful stay!!!

Beautiful property. We were just here for a charity event for Marana girls softball. Staff was very accommodating. We were served Mexican food which was yummy to say the least.

Beautiful resort! I was here on a Lupus Retreat with a group of women last weekend, and we had an amazing time. It was a great first experience. The grounds are beautiful and so relaxing. They have everything from hair and nail salons to golf lessons and massages. The food was wonderful, especially lunch. Dinner was good also. The rooms are big and very well kept up. The bathrooms are amazing especially the bathtub. I would defiantly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing time.

If you've read the reviews you've found a rather large range of opinions. We read them as well. We stayed at the Hotel, as opposed to the casitas people speak of. I'm not sure where they are. We didn't explore. And we stayed over Labor Day weekend. The temps were above 110. Pricing was comparable to other Hotels in the area. For us, staying here again depends on what we will be doing in the area. We only come to visit family. If we are just making a quick turnaround we would stay closer to family and what we consider a nicer, newer, place. However if we will be staying several days and plan to use the pool we will stay here without question. Our room was ok. 3 out of 5. There were lose tiles on the floor and areas on the carpeting where you could feel the floor was a bit weak. The strong suit was the pool, the staff everywhere are accommodating and helpful. The Legends restaurant is a little pricey, I expect that, and really good. Best burger I've had in quite awhile. The golf course is just a beauty to look at. Wish I golfed. LOL It's Covid time so not everything is open. But we didn't really care as our reason for being there was family. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

We've stayed at 3 top end resorts in Tucson, including the Ritz, and this hotel room was the best. Unfortunately the service was not. We waited 20 minutes at check in with no one to be found. They had 1 person on staff and she had to grab extra towels and deliver them to a room. The housekeeping does not provide enough supplies to the room. We had two sinks in two separate rooms and a shower with only 1 bar of soap and 1 hand towel. We did have 3 full size towels. 4 pillows, but no extra pillows or blankets in the huge walk in closet. Beautiful sitting area in a very large room. Very tastefully decorated and very comfortable to hang out in the room. We didn't use the pool or fire pits, but they looked very nice, but again no one to be seen. The TV was tiny for such a long view from the bed. The restaurants were minimally staffed, and the "grill" was CROWDED. Bar keep was very kind while we waited for our sub par food. The food was unimaginable and prepared half heartedly. The Cuban sandwich was the size of a snack bruschetta. It was slapped together sloppily with no accoutrements. The salad was not constructed, four piles of ingredients with no dressing. Other than the Ritz, we've come to expect poor food in Tucson. The golf was disappointing. They booked us, unbeknownst to us, on the lesser course. It is MUCH lesser as it's very short with a few tricks tee to green, but the greens are devilishly stupid to increase the slope. The golf shop, rangers and "members" also had a rude attitude. Like we should be thankful just to be on their course. Go play Ventana Canyon, the course is much better and the people even more so. Just not as nice a room. The lower level the staff the nicer they were. As they were management or more experienced they were uncaring. Probably beat down by a cheap operator. They keep the course in great shape for the members.

Don't do it. We attempted a staycation at this place and it was the worse thing we could have done. The room had no updates and the pool was in need of service. The calcium was so built up along the edge it made a nasty crust. And the plastic edging was black from people walking along it. Yuck. If you are a golfer, I suppose you could close your eyes and swing away, as the golf course was pretty. But that's about it. I do not recommend anyone waste their money here. I particularly enjoyed seeing the dead rat outside my room. How pleasant.

Really nice! Very professional staff. Everyone has been pleasant and helpful. But special accolades goes out to Boyd at the front entrance. We are here for our 40th anniversary and have a lot of questions, and he has been kind and patient with us. He also was the only one that helped us out when everyone else here said no. Omni should be happy to have him on staff. People like Boyd greeting and helping everyone is what makes Omni and the world a better place! Thank you Boyd!
