Omnom Chocolate Ice Cream Shop

Omnom Chocolate is easily the best ice cream I have had in Reykjavík so far, even after trying all the top recommended spots. They offer a great selection of high quality and fun toppings to pair with their delicious soft serve. You can choose from a menu of ready made desserts or go with the "make your own" option where you select your size, a sauce, and two toppings. It is a must visit for anyone with a sweet tooth looking for a premium treat in the city.

I had this saved in my places to visit in Reykjavik. We went before the lava show, only a couple of minutes walk away. Really good chocolate and ice cream! We had a unicorn and a create your own. The caramel is really nice. I would recommend the chocolate liquorice bar. We went for opening on a Monday and it was busy. Also served hot drinks and had a selection of the chocolate to try before you buy.

One of the last things I’d expect to find in this more industrial area of Reykjavik is this chocolate shop! In addition to chocolate bars, they also offer ice cream sundaes and hot chocolate. We entered right when they opened and were greeted with some chocolate bar samples at the counter. My sister and mom each ordered a hot chocolate which came in 8-ounce cups, however the cup was just filled about 80% of the way and topped off with whipped cream. While we were a little disappointed about that, the drink itself was super rich, not too sweet and had an indulgent dark chocolate flavor. We also purchased a few of their chocolate bars, which have such aesthetic packaging. * Lakkrís + Sea Salt (super unique! The black licorice flavor is fairly subtle too.) * Caramel (not gooey, but contains caramel chips) * Coffee + Milk * Sea Salted Almonds Omnom’s chocolate bars can also be found at Kronan supermarkets at cheaper price, which we realized after the fact. Nevertheless, it was cool to stop by their flagship shop for these sweet treats.

Visited here before and after the lava Show. The best got chocolate I have ever had in my life it was delicious! The chocolate samples were tasty, so tasty we bought family Christmas gifts to take home with us. Thank you ❤️

We were very excited to try this. As a group, we loved the polar bear (toasted marshmallows) but not the other choices. Ice cream isn’t great (a bit bland, as are the toppings) but we purchased chocolate to bring home and are hoping it’s a bit more interesting.

One of the best ice creams i have ever had, definitely won't be disappointed. I recommend you go even if its freezing, you don't wanna miss out on this gem if you are in Iceland.

Definitely stop if in the area. Great stop after the lava show. Fun ice cream treats and awesome that they even name their own syrups. Also a wide variety of award winning chocolate bars. Buy 6 for a discount and carrying bag that beats the prices at Bonus grocery store.
