As I take a walk for my daily routine in the city, I found this stationary shop by accident. I was looking for a stationary shop over the years. This shop has well organized display with books, stationary items, and goods. It is a beautiful shop. I strongly recommend to stop by and get items for you and your loved one.

Google
Very cute and well stocked store. If you are junk journal/scrapbook person this is your dream. Definitely recommend stopping in! Also one of the lovely workers gave me an umbrella when it started to down pour on my way out. Excellent store run by excellent people.

Google
I cannot fully encapsulate the joy this store has caused in my wife. As a novice of cute stationary, to me this store looked like most stationary stores (I’m a big Top Drawer fan). But the reverence that appeared in my wife’s face as they explored the wall of bear and puppy stickers is unmatched. What my wife experienced in Omoi was nothing short of a religious experience. Their inventory is perfectly balanced between usefulness and cuteness. The prices are reasonable (for great stationary). And every nook and cranny is stuffed with top notch stuff. So, yeah, five stars

I’ve been coming to Omoi for 3 years now, I love their selection and the decor of the store, really great vibes. At some point, they had a staff switch/new wave of staff that don’t have the best customer service.. other than that the products alone really make it. Also, I’m pretty sure they allow dogs that are non service which is pretty cool

Google
I am so happy we have this cute little store in Philly! There are tons of options to purchse stationary, journaling supplies, planners and calendars, small and trendy decor, and even some bodycare and home products! I highly recommend stopping by to peruse or find a gift for someone :)

This store is nice 👍 It has a good selection of Hobonichi and Traveler’s Journal notebooks. They have limited choices if fountain pens and inks. They carry some cute Japanese houseware and a few selection of tea.

Google
4.5 ⭐️! Super cute stationery store full of knickknacks and goodies for hobbyists. I like that they even let you test some fountain pens up front. Only downside to my visit was as I was trying to peruse the sticker/washi area and employee was stocking / moving items around which felt awkward and like I was in the way. Other than that, the employees are very kind and helpful!

Google
I was checking out this shop today to get some gift for father day and I can’t tell you how lovely this place is, the vibe is relaxing, the atmosphere is calming, and the staffs are super helpful. Beside that, they have so many cute little items which ideal for gift. You should check this place out :)

Yelp
What a cute little shop in Old City!! I love walking around and looking at everything it gives me seratonin hahaha. This is a great shop for gifts for anyone that likes to journal, write letters, craft, organize, and more! Or buy gifts for yourself. There is a small premium on some of the items but it is worth it to buy because it's hard to get these items elsewhere! Staff are super friendly and helpful. The store is usually pretty busy but they never take long at checkout!

Yelp
What a cute shop! I love visiting stationery shops when I travel. Omoi is unique in that it's a Traveler's Company Official Partner Shop (see photo of stamp)! True to that designation, they are well stocked with Traveler's gear. They're also pretty well-stocked with Plotter, which is something that I don't see too often at stationery shops. Weirdly enough, they also have 35mm film and ROKR sets, which I absolutely love! They have a lot of other home goods stuff too, books, fountain pens, and a small selection of inks. Pretty well stocked! I asked one of the people working there for gift suggestions and she showed me some things around the shop I would not have otherwise noticed. We also chatted a bit about Stationery Store Day, which is coming up, and some other things as well. Very friendly. I ended up dropping a bit more money here than I anticipated because of all of the other unique things this shop has to offer. Defintitely worth a visit!

Yelp
Fantastic shop on Old City. Really eclectic and varied gifts. I can easily shop for several people at this location. High quality and thoughtful mix of goods. This shop needs to be on your agenda if shopping for Christmas, birthday or just any occasion.

Yelp
Never received my $48. order. Called and got a "sorry but nothing we can do." Terrible customer service.

Yelp
9/9/24: Since Elizabeth continues to lie, here are the following screenshots of her editing her review underneath my most recent review: A) First image: Her original response to my review was edited on 9/9/24. The added dates of 9/3/24 and 7/16/24 were Not on her original response date of 9/3/24! B) Second image: She edited her response to my recent review this morning(9/9/24) and added the following: her addition of the top paragraph, which was not in her original response of 9/3/24. The added paragraph she wrote this morning on 9/9/24 : "Sadly since Yelp does not allow me to post images in these replies. Do not go here will be profiled by asian and white staff are of a darker skin..which was posted on 7/16/24. I took screenshots of this and reported this to yelp because I take reviews and harassment of my staff very seriously". Again, The date of 7/16/24 and this paragraph relating to the "review" were never there in her original response to me(9/3/24) because it never took place. She made it up and added it this morning. I did not visit the store in July, never said those words in a review because I didn't write one and it never existed, period. She has no screenshots otherwise she would show them. She fabricated the date of 7/16/24 and added words I never said in my life, which again illustrates the lengths you will go to protect yourself. I can also post the video of what happened during my most recent visit. I have it saved as an instagram story. Please stop trying to diminish my experiences as a POC in your store. It's disheartening and illustrates you will continue to fabricate stories instead of owning up to your mistakes. In response to the owner's comment on my most recent review to the store: I find it incredibly reckless and incredibly discriminatory of you, Elizabeth Sieber, the owner of this store to blatantly lie and dismiss my experiences as customer in your store on two separate occasions. 1) Both of my reviews never had any racist language towards your employees(who both times were majority white during my visits) nor did I make any changes to my reviews at anytime. To accuse me of doing that is very unprofessional of you as a business owner. For you to go so far to say that illustrates your desperation to save face. 2) I have only been to this location twice, which shows from my first review of 2 years ago and my most recent review with my friend, who is an Asian woman. These are the only two reviews I have made and nothing else. So for you sit there and lie about me reviewing this place a third time or using racial slurs towards employees when both instances never took place or happened is beyond disgusting and unprofessional of you. Why are you so comfortable lying multiple times in a row? Elizabeth Sieber, why are you, a white woman, lying and trying to bury the experiences that I, a person of color, had in your store on two separate occasions years apart? You using micro aggressions and lies as a business owner to a person of color to save yourself instead of taking accountability of your employees speaks volumes to you as a person. Can you explain why both me and my friend(who again is a other POC(Asian)and accompanied me during this most recent visit saw you standing there the entire time doing nothing when this was going on? With no concern or apology after your employee's treatment towards me? If you want to ignore racism twice in your store and lie about on a public forum, that's on you. But what you can't ignore is honest reviews of patrons or video/audio evidence, which I can happily provide. Avoid this shop at all cost.

Yelp
Cutest stationery store in PHL. There was so much to love. I spent too much on such little things - so it goes! The *real* bread lamps (baguettes, croissants!) are amazing. They have the cutest sunglasses for kids. Tiny leather pouches. Fun jewelry and beaded brooches. Be prepared to touch and want everything.
google avatar

Robin R.

Yelp
I wanted to buy everything. As it was I spent more than I should have. Japanese pens and stationary perfection

Nancy R.

Yelp
I have had two very bad experiences at this shop, please privately message me so I can explain. The people that work there are rude, unfriendly, and truly just not nice. As a business owner in Philadelphia, customer service is everything and the shop definitely does not have that. There's plenty of other places to shop in Philadelphia. You don't need to be treated poorly.
google avatar

Elaine C.

Yelp
I have had this shop on my 'want to go' list for FOREVER. If you are a stationery lover (or should I say addicted?), you definitely need to come here. I spent $60 here. Oops. To be fair, when the hell am I going to come back to Philly in the future? I don't know but I went ham. Got a notebook, stickers, and incense. The notebook and incense were the priciest and might actually be overpriced because the notebook I got was $25 and online at another store was $14. Scammed :( I guess I'll take it as supporting a local shop in this inflated expensive world that we rent in LOL. What I was also really excited about is that they have a special stamp that you can stamp into your notebook so I'm happy I got to do that! Also, I did in the past order notebooks from them and have it shipped to my home in NY before. It was fast shipping too. Not sure if they still do that but FYI.

Yelp
I love little shops like this one. Highly curated, high quality goods, adorable little things that you didn't know you needed. I definitely picked up some holiday gifts for friends and fam here (of which I cannot reveal before the holidays). I will say, I picked up a couple of things for myself as well, cause I couldn't help myself. One: I picked up this little glass pitcher whose shape I just fell in love with. I've been using it recently as I practice making tamagoyaki. I use it for the eggs and it's working perfectly. So this pitcher was on the shelf and it looked to be a display model, and I asked one of the workers there if she had one in a box. And she said, that that was the last one but she believed she had the box for it. She went downstairs, upstairs, looked high and low for the box and could not find it. I assured her that it was ok as I wasn't getting on a plane or anything. I had driven to Philly from D.C., so just wrapping it in some paper would be great. She ended up putting it in an adorable gift box wrapped in paper. But just the lengths she went to to try and find the original box for the pitcher... I mean. You could tell she really cared about customer service. Also, I was at the register and looked over and saw these little miniature Japanese furniture boxes. The cashier told me all about the company, the designer, and what they were all about. Again, I couldn't help myself, and ended up buying a few. I opened my first one after decorating my home for the holiday a bit, and it's this adorable little black modern style chair. It's completely plastic, but it's like... imagine modern doll furniture. And you're like... Mike B.... why in G-d's green earth would you want or need that. Don't worry, I got plans ;). Solid place to pick up little unique gifts. I'm not one who's into stationary, but if you are, this is totally your spot too. The store is not HUGE, but I went around a few times honestly because they pack SO much into that smaller space, and you surely miss something on your first browse.

Yelp
A taste of Tokyo in Philadelphia, what a happy coincidence. Similar to Itoya in Ginza, a tempting variety of paper goods, pens, pencils and desk items. Why are we drawn to these items in the era of Internet, a throwback to school days? Very glad that it started to rain and gave me the excuse to buy an umbrella.
google avatar

Carmela A.

Yelp
I'm so mad my boyfriend took me here! Surprise--it's a fantastic stationery shop! All I wanted was to shop and buy it all. It's located on a street adjacent to the museums in Philly and by cozy restaurants to check out or stroll by on a late summer walk. The Asian products here were so fun and quirky. I loved seeing all sorts of washi tape and cool prints, fine pens and fun stickers. I was very intrigued by a croissant lamp, some recycled backpacks and the Studio Ghibli book I found! Really cool and eclectic pieces for those who like cuter but functional everyday stationery and decor. The place is well lit and the staff kind, so many customers milling about. 10/10 will return for more to add to my collection!

Yelp
Lovely stationary and books. I'm addicted to their Pens and sketchbooks . If you ever need to send a quirky adorable card this place has a splendid variety. Very nice staff btw.

Yelp
I adore Omoi Zakka! They have a wonderful selection of greeting cards that changes every month or two. If I see one I like, I buy it so I don't lose the opportunity! They also carry a lot of great pins for your bags and jackets. If you like stationary, this is the place for you! They have a wide array of stationary and writing utensils from Japan. They also carry calendars, journals, stickers, and day planners. Their Japanese teaware collection is lovely, as are their jewelry, sunglasses, and bags. They carry Baggu bags. Love! This is their Old City location, which is right on 3rd Street. The original Omoi Zakka (which I have yet to visit) is still in Rittenhouse.
google avatar

Megan Y.

Yelp
Quickly becoming one of my favorite Old City shops for gifts that are not Philly-themed. They have a selection of beautiful gifts for yourself or someone else, including jewelry, watches, sunglasses, kitchen gadgets, fountain pens and ink, paper products, reusable shopping bags (and other Baggu products), books and other random things. There's definitely a Japanese aesthetic to some of their products but also an emphasis on simple style and sustainability. The selection changes pretty quickly so go often!
google avatar

Crystal S.

Yelp
This is such a great place to buy gifts, books, pens and jewelry items. The staff is very welcoming and warm, the store is beautiful with plenty of items to choose from, which is a gold mine for me! They also have some asian magazines that you won't be able to find anywhere else (or at least, I could not find them). Their bags are very cute - I just want to buy up the whole shop :)
google avatar

Allison S.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this place walking around in the neighborhood and was pleasantly surprised at all they had to offer! Cute little gift shop / paper goods store. My favorite part was the assortment of Baggu that they had

Yelp
My go-to place to shop for gifts for my cultured friends who already has everything. This charming shop is compact but you're guaranteed to find something you'll love. They have everything from adorable stationary to innovative gadgets, They have accessories and jewelries from unique to luxury; They have lotions and soaps that smell divine; They have incredible selection of incenses, teas, and all imaginable accessories to go with them; They have innovative gadgets from little things for your desk to big items for your home; And don't forget to check out their greeting card wall. My favorite thing to do there. Most items are imported from Japan and hard to find anywhere else. So the price is high. But your friends who receive the gifts will love you.
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
I'm visiting Philly from out of town and heard from a colleague that this was a cute shop and glad I was able to stop by! I really enjoyed the back room with more small homegoods, books, etc. Between soaps, teas and incense, it smelled amazing. As much as I like the idea of buying lots of stuff at shops like this, I am admittedly a little cheap and often just get an item or two. I picked out a greeting card and went up to the counter to find a box of cards that were the last of their kind all for $1! I ended up getting 6 misc unique cards (birthday, appreciation, support, etc) for less than $11 which made me feel like I had a huge win as a bargain shopper!
google avatar

LB R.

Yelp
It's unfortunate that this store is a unique spot in Philly where you could get some amazing finds because the workers are so rude. Or at least the one I interacted with was. I was about to buy a bunch of supplies and asked a question and she spoke down to me like I was insignificant and so I left with nothing. Sad because I loved the items.
google avatar

Allie A.

Yelp
This tiny little specialty shop is perfect if you are a mad fiend for stationary. If you are like me and you like to look and touch or test a specific pen on paper, you might be disappointed because they don't have that many samples you can test out a pen on - I think that's the only difference I found between this shop and other high end stationary stores. Who knows, you might have to ask. A large, quirky selection of fun cards, as well as some unusual gift items. A terrific find.
google avatar

Christina C.

Yelp
My favorite shop in Philly to visit. I come every time I'm in the city and always find something to bring home with me. There are plenty of writing accessories, planners, journals, calendars, prints, greeting cards to fill your heart's desire. On top of that, you'll find the most thoughtful desk items - a cat phone stand, paper clips, trays, rulers, etc. Everything is so nicely curated from Japan and they have quite a few rare items such as magazines/books that catch your eye! In the back of the shop, there's a lot of kitchenware items that I wish I could keep in my house! You'll definitely have fun browsing through! They also have a lovely online shop - you can purchase and pick up in stores if you're in the Philly area.
google avatar

TheOnionedElk _.

Yelp
Mrs. Onioned Elk is crazy about this place, and would 5 star it on the spot. Omoi Zakka has a lot of "sleek cool but totally unnecessary stuff" Those paper clips that are 20x the price of regular paper clips? They're in the shape of a DOG. Stuff like that. However, the quality of the items are pretty good. I really like the look and feel of many of their mugs. It's not a place you would go to daily unless if you're mr/ms. moneybags but it's a good place to get a gift especially for someone with a office job.
google avatar

Grace K.

Yelp
I absolutely love Omoi Zakka - this is my go-to spot when I want to get something cute and memorable as a gift for someone. They sell a wide range of products that are mostly imported from Japan / have a Japanese influenced aesthetic. It's a stationary store that has great Japanese branded journals, notebooks, stickers, washi tape, calendars, and more, and then on top of that they sell keychains, stuffed animals, bags, jewelry, fragrances, body products, house goods, and the list truly goes on and on. The store associates are always friendly, and the store smells so, so good. It's such a cozy store as well. I will say it's not going to be the cheapest store, but it's well worth it. The products they carry are high quality and really unique - there truly isn't a gift store like this one in the city. For local Philadelphians, they have an online store where if you buy something there, you have the option to pick it up in store. They also have an Old City location that is bigger than the Rittenhouse one, but they carry more or less the same merchandise. You gotta come in here! Their card selection is unique and way better than a drug store card. Honestly, treat yourself too - even just window shopping picks my mood up when I stop by.

Yelp
What I thought was an isolated incident is sadly apparently the norm. I wasn't going to write this interview at first but after reading some of the other reviews calling out racist and rude behaviour, it's evident that there needs to be a warning to consumers. When my partner (Black) and I (East Asian) visited this store, the white woman with green dyed hair working the cashier racially profiled us and followed us with her unwelcome gaze the entire time we were shopping. I didn't notice at first because I was happily browsing but when my partner pointed it out, it was so obvious that she was leaving all of the customers alone except for us. The worst part was, it was clear we were targeted because my partner is Black--another customer group of East Asian women was no cause for alarm, yet we were scrutinized. When I asked her questions for help, her tone was also extremely rude and off-putting. My biggest regret was buying anything at all because a business like this does not deserve my hard-earned money. Such a shame because I specifically came out of my way to visit this shop when I was visiting from out of town. It's freaking 2022--do better!!!
google avatar

PJ S.

Yelp
I'm not sure what is says about me, but I wanted to buy every single thing in this eclectic place. It has gifts, books, stationery, jewelry, and more! But no Muji-like toothbrush holders. Maybe next time.
google avatar

Leila D.

Yelp
I lived in Japan many years ago and nothing screamed at me... Japan! Some cute stuff and unique gifts but I was not totally impressed. I did walk out with some birthday cards but I was honestly hoping for more 'japan' stuff and I love kitties and the beckoning cat but they did not have as much as I thought they would. The four stars is more about the friendly and helpful store associates. And the store is well organized and inviting.
google avatar

Mc N.

Yelp
Pricy, but excellent variety of obscure stationary items. Great spot for fun and clever gifts. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Always check the prices before you check out, I accidentally bought a $14.00 pack of labels that I thought were $4 ‍. They had no problem when I came right back and returned it. But I got the most beautiful letter-writing stationary paper and envelopes there.
google avatar

Rochelle T.

Yelp
I reallyyyy liked this store. Unique merchandise to browse through but after seeing an Instagram story where they mentioned a customer visibly and audibly price checking items on Amazon... it just didn't sit right with me. I am all for supporting small businesses and I understand their reasoning for doing it but to blast a customer (even though anonymous) this way felt wrong? I'll admit I've done this before at other stores (more discreetly) but as a customer it's our choice to buy or not?
google avatar

Jo L.

Yelp
This store is so cute! I discovered them at the Sakura Festival last year and have been wanting to check this place out for a while. Finally got the chance today! Didn't get to get anything because we were in a bit of a rush since my friends and I parked at a meter and could not find any quarter! Definitely going to come back! And the girl working there was nice. =)
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful little gem in Philly! Very unique. If you love stationary and unique quickly items from Japan and Europe alike, go!
google avatar

Andre R.

Yelp
Honestly one of my favorite shops in the city. When I'm looking for gifts, it's one of the first places I think about, especially for cards and other things. They carry Baggu and Bellroy items that last a while and look great.

Yelp
I'm not sure how it happened. We always wanted the kids to be a little more cultured, when it comes to their entertainment choices. We subjected them to PBS over the Disney channel , WXPN over top 40 pop hitand Harry Potter over teen magazines. When it came to movies, we had all the Disney flicks like everybody else, but we wanted to also expose them to the wonderful stories and animation of Hayao Miyazaki. Films like " My Neighbor Totoro" and " Kikis Delivery Service" were staples in our house. On her 5th Halloween, my daughter Sarah wanted to be the delivery witch, Kiki. My wife did a fantastic job on the costume, however the character wasn't exactly a household name and many people asked who she was and nodded in fake recognition when we told them. This love of Japanime has stayed with Sarah ever since and at 12 , she is the household expert. From drawing and reading Manga to eating macaroni with chopsticks, she is hooked on the entire culture. When the Japanese festival came to philly, our presence was required. It was a cool event, and both children spent the majority of their time at the Omoi booth. They were both itching to spend their dough on the cool Japanese baubles, but it was hard to decide on one thing. When I found out that they ran a shop in Philly, I promised Sarah I would take her there for another look. This week, I made good on the promise. We made a special trip into the city to see the Omoi mothership. It was a small but charming little shop, just enough room for our party of 4 to maneuver. Sarah was thrilled and loved looking at all the Japanese lunchboxes and toys. The owner was friendly and accommodating , often apologizing for the clutter, explaining that they were cleaning and reorganizing. I think I speak for all of us, that it only added to its charm. When all was said and done, we all found something that caught our eye and needed to come home with us. The most disturbing to me was a book of Japanese culture and ettiquette which Sarah had to have, as she plans on visiting the land of the rising sun, in the near future. I'm not sure I'm ready for that yet so its good to know that I can give her a taste of Japan, on Pine St in Philly. Thanks Omoi.

Yelp
I always thought Jinxed was an only child. Who knew he had a little sister just a mile from where he used to live? Whereas he is into the rough and tumble side, she is fairer and gentler. He is a lover of sports and graffiti. She is into cute stationery and pens. He has grotesque and disfigured toys. She proudly shows off her message dolls that express sentiments like love. They may not know they even have such a harmonious, symbiotic relationship but I'm certainly glad that they can coexist.

Yelp
The two sales associates here were super lovely and extremely helpful for an out-of-towner like me! Thank you for your amazing customer service!

Yelp
I ran into this shop by chance on a sunny day and absolutely loved it. Everything is tasty, or original, and it is the perfect place to find a gift for friends or more selfishly for you (hé why not treat yourself). I found the cutest 2014 diary, of Japanese inspiration. Many things in the store have a Japanese touch, but it is not the only focus of the store. There is a large choice of stationery, little notebooks, diary, etc. and also tons of little cute or funny objects of all types. There are some scarves, hats as well, that seemed to be of a very nice fabric, both soft and beautiful, I almost bought one. Also some nice jewelry. Oh, and the gift wrap was one of the cutest I've had: check out the picture. Well my recommendation is to drop by this store and check it out, you have to see it with your own eyes: enjoy!

Yelp
My favorite shop in the city. It's packed with cool stuff I find excuses to buy. I don't know if it's just how it's laid out or if the things they have really are that amazing. Great place to buy gifts for the hard to buy for person and for yourself. They do run out of some of the stock. As of right now I'm waiting for one of the rollerball pens and a pencil case to come back into stock. Today, I rolled in to get the dot grid insert for the journal I have. I can't stay away from this place! Staff is pleasant and has mastered the art of being available yet not cloying or annoying. Awesome place. They're the only place in the city to carry a lot of these items and everything is very obviously hand selected to be sold in this store.
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
A cute little shop in a charming section of the city! I stopped by on my way to a doctor's appointment and was greeted by the friendly cashier. I looked around at all the different trinkets and treasures - chopsticks, tea infusers, stationary, clothes, artwork, and tons more. I probably picked up and/or touched everything in the store because it was all so CUTE! I chose a couple of gifts for my sister's upcoming high school graduation and the cashier (bless her!) asked if I needed anything gift-wrapped. I told her I did, and she neatly wrapped the items and put them in a gift bag. This was such a great gesture! The prices vary - I feel like that stationary I got ($8) was a good buy and in line with the price of other Japanese stationary I've purchased in the past. Some things are a little pricier though - for example, I saw a Post-It notepad for $5, yikes. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
We accidentally found this tiny beautiful shop when out for a walk. It leans toward writing implements and high quality Japanese paper. Zakka means miscellaneous in Japanese, I read. I didn't need anything but still left with ink and paper. The owner is lovely and knows about pens. Great place to grab some unique cards. We will be back.

Suzanne L.

Yelp
Nice staff and nice things here but it's a little bit pricey I will definitely be coming back I bought some notebooks and pens very nice

Yelp
They sold really cool Japanese things like Bento boxes, plastic shopping bags that folded up, and other things. I bought the Vanilla rose Cocoa, which was $10 for 3.5 oz - I thought it would be this wonderful cocoa from the high price and the fact that it was 100% organic. I don't know if it's just me but I've made the drink twice and it tastes really watered down, even though I followed the directions. I don't taste a lot of of cocoa - just this floral taste that might as well be tea and leaves a chalky aftertaste. I give the place 3 stars - the products are cute, the cocoa just isn't that great. Might just be me though - maybe it's supposed to just taste like flowery tea. Try for yourself.

Yelp
Love this store; so much cool stuff every time I go. There's a lot of imported Japanese stationery, posters, etc. The staff is also super chill and don't pressure you in any way for sales. Honestly one of my favorite stores in the city.

Yelp
Really nice shop with even nicer people. Stopped in to browse the Bellroy wallet collection and the woman at the counter couldn't have been more helpful. She was very informative about the products without pressuring for a purchase. She even told me about colors that were coming in a couple of weeks in case I wanted to wait! Love my new wallet and can't wait to return.

Yelp
Really nice stuff. Sadly it is a little expensive. The small artsy atmosphere is fun and the little that is there is very creative!

Yelp
I lived in Japan for years and when I'm really missing it I come here to feel nostalgic. Great mix of authentic Japanese goods and Western trinkets. Definitely check them out.

Yelp
I've heard so much about this shop and was excited to stop in today. The small space is filled with such great items! This space is beautiful, the perfect balance between sparse and cluttered. You can tell that the items were curated for the shop and I really appreciate it! I will definitely return to buy some gifts, for myself and others.

Yelp
This place is absolutely adorable! It's a bit small and can be easily missed if not for the chalkboard sign outside. But it has a wide selection of items to choose from. I bought a notebook, multiple cards, and a phone case from here and was very satisfied with my purchase. It is a bit on a more expensive side - $4 to $5 for a card and around $5 for a notebook. I got the phone case on sale, which ended up being decently priced - around $20. I would say the quality of the products are worth the price though. I was mainly interested in purchasing a few notebooks, however their selection wasn't that large during the summer, but they said they were getting more for back to school season. Unfortunately, I was only in Philadelphia for the summer and would have already left before they got the new items. The staff was very helpful though and gave me a business card for their online store. Would 100% come back again when I come to Philly next year.

Yelp
Omoi Zakka is all of your stylish-minimialism house dreams. The space is quite small and you definitely feel packed in when there are other shoppers but every corner is full of great items. They have beautiful housewares such as glasses and plates; fun prints; and such unique gifts. I love their collection of Baggu bags, greeting cards, and small items that are perfect for putting together for a thoughtful present. The price point is reasonable but unless you have money to burn; Omoi is a great place to pick up small items to add. I love this neighborhood shop.

Yelp
Such a wonderful shop! The layout, design, and placement of the items throughout the interior just makes me want to buy everything, and the owner and employees were all very nice and helpful. A perfect place to pick up gifts for friends, especially if they are Japanophiles. There were Japanese lifestyle/design magazines juxtaposed with adorable stationary almost too beautiful to use, cardboard DIY model kits, a bunch of BAGGU products, hanging terrariums, and you get the idea. Like your fashionable, cultured/worldly friend's Pinterest board - everything seems curated and selected with thought, and even if you don't end up buying anything, it's a joy just to walk through the store.
