Omphalos Restaurant Vegetariano -Vegano

Honestly being a vegetarian, this place was just what we were looking for. Perfect mix of all the goodness. We came here on a Saturday for the bowls 25 soles each and on Sunday, we tried their Vegan menu which was lovely and fulfilling for just 15 soles (A flower infused drink (Hibiscus), Salad, Soup, you can pick one from their mains (options available) and then a dessert (we had brown rice pudding)). Worth every penny as the quality was amazing! Definitely going back for dinner!

It is nice to find a vegetarian place that is also open in the evening in Arequipa. They have a economic menu with salad, soup, main dish and dessert for 15 soles. The menu is changing every day. We went there two times during our stay. We took 4 different menus and I have to say that the food is okish but not extremly good. The price and service is good though. The restaurant is located also in a cool building with patio.

Love the food here especially the carrot cake!!!! We came here twice in 3 days. I got the15 soles set menu the first time and the stuffed pepper the second time. Both were great. The service here is a bit slow. If you have somewhere to be in the afternoon this is not a quick lunch spot.

Literally just polished off a 3 course meal and already contemplating coming back for dinner. Absolutely unbelievable tasting food, quality, quantity, price, value, friendly staff… can’t fault it. 🌱 Vegan/veggie or not, you need to eat here! The most gorgeous setting outside in the courtyard too ☀️ feels very Italian/spanish vibe. Perfecto & deliciosa👌🏼

Had the lomo saltado combo which came with 4 wontons, lomo saltado, and your choice of cake for dessert. It was all very good! Only complaint is that the "meat" part of the lomo saltado was a bit bland. Other than that everything was amazing including the service and the restaurant itself.

Great spot for a plant based menu! Grains and legumes are plentiful and imitation meat isn’t central. Nutritious and with minimal to no ultra-processed ingredients, this is my go to

A great find just off the main plaza. Great vegetarian and vegan options. Beautiful old building and courtyard.

A beautiful cafe that is very accommodating of gluten-free needs. While gluten-free options are not labeled, the staff were so patient with our broken Spanish and double-checked everything to ensure it was safe for us. I'm so grateful for their kindness, and we enjoyed all of the dishes immensely.
