We booked the "2 Bedroom Beachfront Penthouse With SPA" for two nights and we were allocated Room 33. The 3 level apartment is gorgeous. It was very clean throughout and adequate for our stay. The air conditioning is ducted with vents in two of the three levels (level 3 is open air). There are various little laminated signs giving instructions on different things - something I really appreciated. Alison in reception is a warm genuine character. As we booked in winter, the spa struggled to maintain some heat (max 38°) which was clearly explained to us and did not detract from our stay. That's something to keep in mind for others. I should be said that being so close to the beach, there is to be expected the effects of salty air affecting some parts, such as exterior sliding door handles. This did not take away anything from the experience. There is an IGA and Fish and chips across the road and some other cafes nearby. Being on the eastern side of Bribie, it's very quiet away from the traffic of the western side. Is it good value for money? Absolutely. Would I come back? As circumstances allow, without hesitation. My only regret is that we booked for two nights instead of three or more. Tip: I'd highly recommend booking directly from the website. Sometimes they can have specials.

I had a great time here last week. The view was amazing, the staff friendly and helpful. Shops over the road, pub and surf club very close. Park the car in the secure underneath car park and not need to use it again. The penthouse was very clean and welcoming on arrival. Booked for 3 nights, but, I didn’t want to leave so extended an extra night. Didn’t use the barbie but it could do with an up grade. I will be back next time I need time out. Thank you for a great stay.

I had a great experience staying at this resort. The view was absolutely stunning, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The amenities were well-maintained and added a lot of value to the overall experience. The only minor issue was some maintenance concerns, particularly a rotted door leading to the upstairs spa. It didn’t impact our stay at all, but it’s something to be aware of. We stayed during summer, so the outdoor temperature was similar to the maximum temperature we were allowed to put the hot tub to, making it feel more like a warm soak than a hot tub experience.

We stayed for 6 nights at the end of December/ new years, in unit 31 (ground floor, water front). Family of 5 (2 adults, 3 young children).||Cons:||A more thorough vacuum and mop would be great, as our toddler found a few small items under furniture (half eaten chocolate, and small lids). This was a bit of a safety concern for us.||Carpet is stained and could do with a shampoo. Blankets in cupboards need washing. ||The outdoor tiled sitting area out the back needs a clean and replace this outdoor furniture - or remove it. ||The after hours mobile phone number in the compendium in the accommodation wasn’t up to date. The electronic gate stopped working at one point and we couldn’t leave our accommodation as a result for a couple of hours - luckily the person who no longer works for the accommodation (old phone number listed in compendium) answered her phone and kindly passed on the updated phone number! So, details need to be updated in compendium (reported to reception when we checked out) and a manually opening walk through pedestrian gate would be great for convenience/ emergencies.||The pool was very cold (but this didn’t bother our kids). No spa (penthouses have their own spas), or toddler pool.||Minor renovations to accommodation would be lovely. Paint throughout.||Pros:||The location is great! Quiet location - only the sounds of the waves. ||Right on the waterfront (with a very very quiet road in front), with partial ocean views. The patrolled section of beach is very close and very easy to walk to. The beach is beautiful and safe for families. Easy walk to park, playground, cafes and IGA.||The accommodation is fully fenced with grassy front yard and all on one level (besides from only a few stairs up to accommodation). This is great for families with young kids. ||The front veranda is large with a lovely big round table and chairs.||Parking for your car is right out the front of accommodation- this makes it easy for packing / unpacking car. ||Master bedroom has ensuite, 2nd bedroom has double bed, 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds - with shutters that open on to lounge room (this didn’t bother us - but noise would flow in / out as lounge room is next to bedroom). ||We were provided with a roll away bed (at an additional charge) for our toddler. So, the accommodation could sleep 7 people, if needed. ||Beds and pillows were comfortable. ||Block out curtains in bedrooms were great - kept the rooms nice and dark. ||Air conditioned throughout.||Clothes line provided out the back of accommodation. Washing machine and dryer provided.||Reception staff were friendly and helpful (over the phone and in person). ||Summary:||Great location. Our kids loved the beach and local playground. The accommodation could be cleaned a little more thoroughly. Updates to compendium and some renovations would make this accommodation 10/10 😊.

Absolutely loved staying here! Was part of a group of 7 and the Villa by the sea was the perfect size for us! Loved waking up to the sound of the sea in the mornings and watching the moonlight shimmer over the water . Bribie Island is such a special place, and staying somewhere within walking distances of awesome little food places and convenience shops just added to the whole experience. I'll be back again next year to enjoy this magical place !
