On The Bite

Came back after 10yrs away and pork belly still on the menu thank god! Absolutely delicious 😋. Started coming 15ys ago when first open and the seamless systems and procedures and quality of service and food was always great but now it’s next level amazing. Congratulations on a fabulous long lazing business through the highs and lows of the economy. 👏 🙌🏼 🥳

Highly recommend!! Its fair to say that On the Bite put Maclean on the map for my friends and I today. It has become our non negotiable stop when we travel north. The food was completely delicious and also plated beautifully. My friend has a number of food intolerances that were kindly catered for and we all thoroughly enjoy the different dishes we got. The service and hospitality were on point. Friendly and timely. Thank you for a beautiful meal, see you again soon!

Great Coffee and great food. Stopped in for breakfast and were impressed with everything. Food presentation was also excellent.

Cute town to stop in by, while walking down the strip my eyes were drawn to a simple modest sign "On the bite" By this time of day I was feeling a bit like a bite to eat. A small table outside called my name and I sat down and ordered a bacon and egg toastie with a coffee. The first bite revealed the true intentions of this place, to create impactful flavours one chomp at a time. 10/10 would recommend.

We stopped by for a break on our way down the coast. We have stopped elsewhere in the past but in future we will stop at Maclean. Much better than one of the big road houses and not as crowded as other locations. This cafe had a table outside, good food, good coffee and good, friendly, service. Just perfect for a break and a quick snack on your way north, or south.

Where do I start?! My husband and I absolutely adore this gem of a cafe! The food here is second to none, we especially love the sticky pork (and dubbed lunch time as sticky porko’clock), but it’s a hard choice between all my other favourites: falafel, chicken salad and tacos! The staff are super friendly and always greeted with a smile.

Really cute little cafe with amazing service and food! Would highly recommend if you're in the area! Would recommend the toasted Turkish sandwiches! Very cute little town as well! 8/10

Random stop after a boozy night, the GPS had suggested another place, so glad I stopped here instead. Great coffee, friendly prompt service and one of the best Shakshouka‘a I’ve tried outside of Melbourne! I’ll be back to enjoy more of their menu. Good vibe too.
