Yelp
A relatively new restaurant serving modern British food, on an enviable position on the harbour Quay (over the ferry passenger terminal).
The interior consists of a single large and airy room, with a separate sampling menu area and a long outside balcony with superb views over the harbour at Hugh Town.
We had bread and olives as a starter, fish of the day (skate) and Moroccan stew with cous-cous, followed by Apple and almond crumble with ice cream or custard.
Overall, the food was very good - the skate was well cooked, but let down a little by the mash being nearly cold: the Moroccan chick-pea stew was good but not as spicy as one might expect. The crumble was good, and came in huge portions.
Service was very friendly, with water being brought without asking, and very efficient for most of the meal, and happy to oblige any requests, but we did have to wait a bit to order our desserts. With two 200ml bottles of Prosecco, our bill came to £73 (without service).
Overall we had a very nice meal and it would make a good choice for a special evening out.
