Great little place to stop on the road between Hokitika and Franz Josef. We were fairly late for lunch and most of the pies had gone so we had a bacon and egg panini instead and it was very tasty. The coffee hit the spot too. We indulged in a couple of ice creams afterwards and they were exceptionally generous for the price and very delicious. Friendly service too.

Good coffee, the best carrot cake we’ve had, whitebait sandwich could be better. Citrus slide was nice.

Been on the road and came past this place. Friendly service, lots of choices of food and good coffee and hot chocolate. Plenty of i door and outdoor seating. The veggie quiche was superb as was the carrot cake. Do yourself a favour and stop here.

This is a great stopping point from driving! It is a general store (cat food, sandwiches, coffee, even WINE!). The WIFI is decent here if you need to get online to check go anything . Music selection is good/relaxing/background. Lots of seating. Prices are about average ($4-$5 for coffee). We enjoyed ourselves here for at least 30 minute break from the windy roads. Parking is good on both sides of the roads.

Hubby had the Beef bacon and egg burger. He said " it was edible" I had a satay chicken burger. Which was ok, the satay sauce lacked balance. It needed more peanut butter to balance with the spices and the sauce was a little thin for me. Chips were a mix of new and old. The newer ones were crunchy, salty and quite good. Dessert was a vanilla slice. They're made in house and look amazing. They were quite nice, however the flavour icing was lost as it was also vanilla. Maybe passionfruit would be nice. The coffee was great. Not spectacular. But enjoyable.

Good place for a pit stop. Espresso was strong and slightly on acidic side. Cream cake was alright, there’s plenty others to choose from. Grumpy looking cat provides extra entertainment.

This was the first place we stopped on our way from Franz Josef Glacier to Greymouth. It's a beautiful little cafe and they have a few options for vegetarians, but i felt the quantity did not just the price. If you are a pure vegetarian, just check to see if the items contain egg. This place has free wifi.

A great place to sit down and enjoy a coffee and fresh baked goodies. Open air atmosphere with a lovely patio. The sausage and egg pie was fabulous! Very friendly staff. If you are camping at nearby Ross Beach and want to get on the road early, skip making breakfast at camp and just wait to get it here. It's worth it!

Pukeko Tearooms bake the best muffins on the West COast. I highly recommend them.
