Don’t be fooled by the eco-lodge branding or the nice garden — this place is a health hazard. When I first arrived, the outdoor area looked promising, and I was keen for a relaxing stay. That quickly changed once I saw the state of the rooms.
The ceilings are absolutely filthy — covered in mould, water stains, and clear signs of long-term neglect. Every room I went into had visible black patches and damp damage. It’s not just gross, it’s dangerous. Breathing that in overnight is a serious risk, especially for kids, asthmatics, or anyone with allergies.
To top it off, they refused to let me park my boat up the driveway, claiming it was a health and safety issue. What a joke — mould-infested ceilings above bunk beds are apparently fine, but a parked boat is where they draw the line?
This place needs a full professional clean, a health inspection, and a serious attitude adjustment. Until then, avoid it. False advertising and unsafe conditions — plain and simple.
