One Fish, Two Fish - seafood restaurant

Very cozy and pleasant restaurant! The food was beyond our expectations as well, the sea bass was perfectly prepared and the cod was so tender it just melted in the mouth!

I can only highly recommend this restaurant. Every Fish and Seafood lover will definitely enjoy it. Food is super delicious, fresh and perfect portions. On top a perfect service, extremely friendly. You will definitely love it.

Lovely restaurant, exquisite fish. The fish is of great quality and generous portions. I’ve been here twice now and both times it was cooked to perfection, which is all the more impressive given that the chef is doing everything on his own. The restaurant has a simple setting, and the waiters are kind and accommodating. Of course I’ll be back

Family Business Great Taste! Must try!

After first visit more than a year ago, I kept the remembrance of the this cozy „home-stile“ restaurant and tasty food. So I came here again to enjoy delicious fish dishes. Just love this place for their perfect way of serving seafood and relaxing atmosphere!

Lovely small restaurant. Great service and atmosphere. The food is good too, but the potions of the main were a bit on the small side, at least the cod was. I feel like the meme when I have to get a hotdog on the way home from a fancy restaurant 😉 also the creme brulee is not as great as the other dishes, just order another dessert.

Our first dinner in Amsterdam that came recommended by our hotel host. The restaurant is off the beaten path (e.g., away from the tourists). It's a 26 seats restaurant. The decor is bright and light. The food is divine. The service is great. We ordered the mussels in white wine for appetizers. The mussels came with two house made mayos One with ketchup and the other with mustard. Delicious. The flavor were light wth a hint of scallions and mustard when eating with the mustard mayo. Hubby ordered the sea bass for dinner and I ordered the cod. The sea bass was a whole fish, tender, juicy, and seasoned just right with salt and pepper. The cod had a crispy skin and when eaten with the mustard sauce and spinach had a great taste. For desert, we ordered the chocolate cake. The cake was presented beautifully wth blueberries and raspberries. The cake was dense and made with dark chocolate. It was not bitter nor sweet. Perfect. A must try in Amsterdam.

My wife and I along with another couple made reservations a day in advance but we really didn't need the reservation. The food was simple but it was some of the best seafood we had eaten in a long time. I can recommend the restaurant without reservation. One caveat: the pace is leisurely, so allow time. The staff is helpful, friendly, and speaks English. Special mention for the sea bass dish, which was especially good. With a shared bottle of nice Chardonnay, the meal cost around 33 Euros per person.
