Yelp
Our first dinner in Amsterdam that came recommended by our hotel host.
The restaurant is off the beaten path (e.g., away from the tourists). It's a 26 seats restaurant.
The decor is bright and light. The food is divine. The service is great.
We ordered the mussels in white wine for appetizers. The mussels came with two house made mayos One with ketchup and the other with mustard. Delicious. The flavor were light wth a hint of scallions and mustard when eating with the mustard mayo. Hubby ordered the sea bass for dinner and I ordered the cod. The sea bass was a whole fish, tender, juicy, and seasoned just right with salt and pepper. The cod had a crispy skin and when eaten with the mustard sauce and spinach had a great taste. For desert, we ordered the chocolate cake. The cake was presented beautifully wth blueberries and raspberries. The cake was dense and made with dark chocolate. It was not bitter nor sweet. Perfect.
A must try in Amsterdam.
