One Hive Hotel and Suites

If you're not choosy, then this place is for you. I've stayed here many times whenever I come back to the Philippines, but unfortunately, this time it wasn't worth the price. The toilet is dirty, the walls need painting, and the doors are dirty; some are also broken. Staff are very friendly; breakfast is very basic, nothing special.

Went here to stay for two nights. Booked a two-person room that wasn’t really meant for two people. Staff was nice and decent but the amenities that the hotel offered, especially for the price, were not enough and lacked essentials like bidets and insects were all over the room. There are better places to stay in at Surigao if you’re looking at cleanliness, price, and location. Overall, pretty disappointing.

Booked 3 rooms and stayed 1 night at this hotel - before Siargao. The staff is amazing! Rooms are OK - hard to close shower doors. Location is great! walking distance to restaurants, etc. Our ferry schedule was at 5am so they offered to have our breakfast as to go box. We paid minimal fee. Breakfast was good.

The receptionist greeted us with a smile, very accommodating and friendly, great first impression of hotel. We called them on a short notice 2 days ahead of our arrival and staff who answered the phone was very polite. Although i have travelled and visited Surigao City 20 years ago, I couldn't determine exactly the time we will arrived there. In short we arrived very early at 7am, imagine check-in time was at 2pm. Nevertheless we still decide to go straight to the hotel as we were a bit tired from a 12 hour bus trip from Davao City, take chances of the availability ofnthe room and what alternatives/suggestions they can offer to us. Well well well luckily One Hive Hotel has a friendly policy to travellers. The receptionist was very helpful. She told us about the early check-in at 9am (considering room availability) and late check-out at 7pm (if room has no reservations). Earlier check-in time before 9am there is a fee of only 100php per hour. Fortunately there is a room available for us to avail the early check-in, what a relief! |The room was clean, average size for two, noted for no cockroach and no ants.👍The bathroom a bit smaller but tidy. Water pressure and hot shower commendable, very important for early riser. You must try to dine in their restaurant One Hive Cafe, the food was exceptional. Stayed for 2 nights for a conference in the city. But ended up with the last family room available for the intended dates.||Room is a bit small but clean. Good enough for the price though the solo is quite small (a single bedroom approx 12 to 15sqm). ||Hot shower not working when I was there but the room served its purpose. Food not very varied but good enough for its class. Will definitely book again if needed.||Location is in the city proper which I really liked. Walking distances to almost everything.||

I have checked in here a few times in the past and the experience has always been pleasant every time. Tried to check in here a few nights ago but they were fully booked. I'm giving it 5 stars solely because of the experience I had with the front desk staffer Roselyn. She was super kind, sincere and helpful. She even saw me out and helped me hail a motorela ride to the bus station as I was not from the area and she didn't want me getting preyed upon by dishonest motorela drivers. Roselyn embodies the spirit of true Filipino hospitality. She was so nice and showed genuine concern the whole time. She's a true blessing to the hotel and to any employer she will have in the future. Thank you, Roselyn.

I stayed for 11 days, room was clean A/C was cold couldn't ask for much more it was very nice. You do have to reset your key card at the front desk every day otherwise i'd give it 5 stars. Oh and you get complimentary breakfast at the hotel Restaurant.
