One Hot Yoga are great instructors. I brought my soccer club down here and the teachers were great and were able to help my team with recovery during a break in the playing season. I highly recommend for any sports clubs looking for something different in their training schedule and to help with recovery.

I was really looking forward to my first hot yoga class with Paul Gere and even arrived early — but the experience ended up being really upsetting. There are two separate doors at the studio, and the first one I entered was for “One Hot Pilates,” which wasn’t clearly marked as separate from the yoga space. I ended up walking around trying to figure out where to go, and by the time I got to the correct entrance, it was 4:02pm. When I opened the door, Paul immediately told me I wasn’t allowed to enter — which I understood, since I was 2 minutes late. I said I was sorry and tried to explain I’d gone to the wrong door, and that I was happy to leave. But instead of acknowledging that, he spoke over me loudly, saying I was disrupting meditation and continuing to raise his voice even as I tried to step away. I ended up leaving in tears. I completely respect the need for a calm, focused environment — but the way it was handled felt really dismissive and unnecessarily harsh. A bit more compassion and clearer signage would go a long way, especially for first-time students.

Melbourne has a thriving yoga community and a destination that needs to be experienced is One Hot Yoga and One Hot Pilates. Nestled in South Yarra. The studios offer a diverse schedule of classes and are fully equipped with high-quality mats and props, end-of-destination facilities (bathrooms), and lockers. Bring you, a present mindset, and a towel. You'll find expert instruction for all levels and a community that respects the sanctity of the yoga studio - no phones, loud wearables or unaware yogis. Step in - grow - flow and leave a little taller, a little more present and a little bit more you. It was my go to when I lived in South Yarra. Its twin studio in Potts Point Sydney is as beautiful as Melbourne

Stunning studio, and great atmosphere. All of the teachers are awesome. I particularly enjoy Paul’s classes and also the One Hot Yoga signature flow. I always have the best experience and look forward to coming again.

This was my first time doing reformer so I was a little nervous, but Denise made the experience comfortable and easy, providing tips and corrections as needed. It was clear she also had great rapport with her usual clientele

ZERO STARS! My first experience was unsatisfactory! Upon arriving at the studio, I met the receptionist, though she did not introduce herself. When she began speaking to me, I informed her that I am Deaf. She then asked me if I understood English, which was unnecessary and offensive, as I had already communicated that I am Deaf and showed text on my mobile phone using English language. She led me to the changing room but told me not to bring my mobile phone, which I normally rely on for communication via text. I followed her instructions and left my phone in a small locker. After changing, she directed me to sit in the lounge, but no further instructions were provided. I had no idea when or where the class would start, and there was no one around to ask for help. I waited until 9:25 AM, growing increasingly anxious due to the lack of communication and support. With no staff members or clear instructions around, I decided to leave the studio as I no longer felt comfortable staying. This experience was far from Deaf-friendly. Despite reaching out afterward to explain the situation, I have not received any response.

I was new to the studio, which was a clean and calm space. The instructor asked about any previous injuries, was very welcoming and gave clear instructions and demonstrations throughout. I've done reformer only a few times before, but this class was challenging enough without being overwhelming. For those who are more experienced, there was always options of how to make the moves harder if needed.

My favourite place to visit for the Pilates Reformer class! Highly recommend attending Paul's sessions! :) I really love the atmosphere in the studio, always leave the class feeling myself happy and energised.

Yelp
Utterly rude company ! Locking a new customer out arriving within 5 mins of the start time and ready to slip in the back of class ! Already paid mind you. They have 2 separate entrances, and went to the wrong one first, which I got to on time! No warnings on your website in big print to your mean practice. Nor any signs in your foyer and your door unlocked, but you lock people out! Does it get any ruder!!!!!! What a disgrace of a company!!! Hate to think how much business you've lost with your inflexible, arrogant unhelpful attitude. You ought to be ashamed of yourself! Never will I go there again ! No one should join such a rude company !!!! And the manager that got on the phone had a very patronising voice and attitude!!!

Yelp
Tucked away on River St, One Hot Yoga seems to be one of the more popular studios south side. Taking advantage of the $20 unlimited 2 week offer. I have been to two classes this week. The studio is just like in the pictures, clean, modern and fresh. However I found for my first two times to the studio, that the staff weren't very helpful in explaining the studio. Having to line up several times to ask questions, as they didn't tell me the info straight off. Studio 2 is also down the road, 2 doors down, supposedly you can't miss - which I did. While I loved the studio and the class, I felt the staff weren't the most helpful/friendly so I will continue the hunt for another hot yoga studio.

Yelp
Heated Yoga Studio. Amazing venue to get your Om on. I love the renovated warehouse look, with tall ceilings and clean white lines in the bathroom. Loved the polished concrete as well. The only thing holding me back from 5 stars is the reverb in the actual room. I couldn't hear my teacher's voice, especially combined with the louder-than-normal music in the background. Well worth checking out if you like to sweat, but prefer slow Vinyasa Flow compared to Bikram.

Yelp
Great yoga classes in beautiful rooms but slightly on the x-y side. The rooms are also very large rooms and there are big classes so I probably wouldn't recommend for a beginner as it is SO important to get moves right from the start otherwise you will hurt yourself. Yoga can be dangerous. Seriously (you laugh now...). If you are medium or advanced in your yoga practice definitely check this place out. The teachers are great and the classes are always different unlike bikram which is always the same sequences. As it is hot, you are a little bit more flexible than usual and that is a feel good in itself. The classes are as hard as you want them to be but generally skewed towards a 'workout' rather than a relax. I definitely felt more toned and stronger after three sessions. If you want to see results I recommend 2 - 3 classes a week. There are two rooms and they are both super modern and clean. The room smells generally relatively fresh (for a hot sweat box!) too and they make everyone clean down their mats at the end of the class. You can buy a water for $2.50 or a towel when you get there but I recommend going to woolies across the road and getting a $1 water and bringing your own towel to lay out over the mat (and maybe an extra smaller towel to wash your face with at the end). They supply mats. And you can now buy coconut water and protein ball there too. The only thing really for me is the change rooms at the end of class are really small and they get super packed! Its hard to find a place to get changed so either be first person down there, wait a bit or grab your stuff and go. There are 5 showers that usually get take up straight away and these have secure doors so if your not comfortable naked there is privacy. But be respectful there is probably ten more girls waiting for their turn! Anyway highly recommended!

Yelp
I enjoy getting my sweat on after work which is conveniently close by. Place is brand new, so everything is swish and the studio has a luxe yuppy appeal. Teachers so far seem pretty great and different enough to keep the classes from become repetitive.

Yelp
I really do love it here. The studio is sleek and clean with heated polished concrete (Studio 1) to keep you warm while you sweat it up. There are 2 hot yoga studios (studio 2 located outside the main location) as well as hot pilates coming this week (again will be a seperate studio). The teachers are welcoming and always provide alternatives to poses, useful if you just can't get that bind right or you want to take your practice to the next level. Being an hour means you get a decent cardio workout, without it become too overwhelming or boring (like I found with Bikram). Embrace the heat.

Yelp
Went twice on drop in classes last weekend (power flow 27 and advanced workshop). I live in Sydney and used to going to yoga at least 4 times a week The studio is quite nice and clean. It was not the best classes i have been to, but both had something a little différent to what i am used to which i found interesting: - we used a tennis ball to massage our foot for a good 5 min - the workshop class gave the opportunity to try a lot of différent postures with great advice an one on one coaching

Yelp
The studios here are super stylish and always clean, not like a lot of other hot yoga studios. There are heaps of classes on the timetable so you can always find a class that works for your schedule. The classes are challenging but fun and the teachers are all lovely, offering different variations so you can make it as challenging as you want. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Love this place- great teachers, beautiful studio, they offer a range of classes and times. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
This is a beautiful space with many classes available, but it is very sadly let down by the unfriendliness of some of the staff. It would be nice to be greeted with a 'hello' or at least a smile, rather than an abrupt 'name?' or 'which class?". A friend of mine did not to go back after her first visit because she felt so unwelcome. It is also fairly impersonal, with little to no individual attention or adjustment given in the classes. The classes are highly variable with many erring on the basic side, so it takes a few visits to work out which ones suit your practice. You are not allowed to bring your own mat, but some of the mats provided are quite malodorous. Showers and shower products are provided which is lovely, but the shower water pressure is pretty weak and on several occasions there has been no hot water available.

Yelp
I can't give a studio a good review when the staff are so unfriendly, terrible first impression. There are so many great studios in Melbourne that I'd recommend over this one.
