One Legged Magpie

This place is absolutely amazing, the food is priced well for what you get. I had the Montana Wagu, and my taste buds were absolutely blown away! The steak was cooked too perfection, and the potatoes were delicious. There was a slight spice to the braze that was on it, which complimented all the other flavors so well. If you're ever in the Red Lodge area, I highly recommend stopping in to try some of the scrumptious options they offer. They definitely have the best pizza in town as well. You will not be disappointed, hope you enjoy the experience as much as I did.

I usually dont leave reviews, but this restaurant had me in a daze. Such a great vibe the moment you walk in. The owner has an easy going vibe that set the tone for dinner. I had the SPOC pizza and the Montana Pork Chop with Polenta and Blueberry Balsamic sauce! Holy smokes!! First off the pizza crust was exceptional. I could eat it on its own. Homemade italian sausage along with pepperoni, onions and pickled jalapeños!! Fan-Effing-Tastic!!! If you just go for a pizza you cant miss. Now on to the Montana Boned in Pork Chop!! Flavorful, tender, juicy, perfect medium center! Add in the Creamy Polenta, Apple&Fennel Slaw with the Blueberry Balsamic sauce and we are in business! Easily one of the best meals I have had this year and def one of the best meals I have had in my life. Thank you to Mike and everybody at Magpie for your kindness and hospitality! This is a meal I will think and talk about for years to come! Cant wait to come back again!!!

Every visit is made special by Travis, whose recommendations—whether for food or drinks—are always spot on. The food is an experience in itself, and I’ve never had a dish I didn’t look forward to returning for. The atmosphere is always vibrant and welcoming, and the entire wait staff is attentive, ensuring a fantastic experience every time. And don’t miss their award-winning espresso martini! Travis and his team have really elevated the Rocky Mountain region dining scene with this place! Their Valentine's Day five-course menu + wine pairings exceeded our expectations. The most tender duck breast I've honestly every eaten. Selena, our somelier, has also brought to the region some delightful and sustainably grown wines with rich storylines. Well done, One Legged Magpie. Red Lodge MT (and Wyoming foodies like me) are lucky to have you!

The One Legged Magpie is my favourite place to dine and catch up with friends in Red Lodge. The ambience is beautiful, the decor thoughtfully curated with attention to the historic origins of the building. The cocktails and drink menu are great and the food and service excellent! Creative use of ingredients to please all palates. Really professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff

Believe me when I tell you this was one of the BEST dinner and dining experience we have ever had. Let's start with Sarah, our server. She was so fun, so friendly, so down to earth. It was an absolute pleasure right away to chat with her. She helped us choose a bottle of wine and answered all our menu questions in depth. Which brings me to the highlight of this experience- the Chef's Taste. A three course family style dinner, each dish a surprise as the chef decides what he's making for you. He even brought it out himself and each plate was nothing short of extraordinary. How Chef Charles doesn't have three Michelin Stars yet is beyond me. Combining this bottle of wine, this food experience, this atmosphere, the music and all the staff at One Legged Magpie... this was one of those rare experiences that we'll reminisce on for decades. It's now the meal we'll compare all future meals to whenever we eat out. There is so much more I could say about all the magical details and flavors and how perfectly it all came together. But with deep gratitude to the proprietors who created this space and the Chef, the most important thing I can say is this- RUN, don't walk to make a reservation and experience this for yourself.

This is a dining experience!!! Make a reservation and try this Red Lodge favorite. The staff was attentive and helpful in ordering. We had the lamb appetizers and a califlower appetizer special. Yummy. Great happy hour from 4 to 6pm, beautifully remodeled 100+ year old building. I had a rum drink with the largest ice cube and the smallest marshmallow. All yummy goodness.

We were visiting the area and decided to stop here for dinner and a couple adult beverages. We had the capri salad, margarita pizza ant chocolate tort with ice cream. This was one of the best meals I have ever had. The margarita pizza was the best we’ve ever had and we have eaten pizzas in Italy. The staff was absolutely incredible. The owner were also there working right along beside them. As for the atmosphere also in a word great. If you are in the area this is a must stop if you’re looking for amazing food, drinks, amazing friendly service with a great atmosphere. Truly a 5 star restaurant. As for the bartenders they are top notch as well.
