My wife and I visited for a weekend getaway. We had an amazing time!! It was just what we needed! I was super impressed with our check-in experience with Shannon. She was super helpful, friendly, and very welcoming! Shout out to the Valet service. Mateo, John, and Alexa were super helpful (navigating marathon traffic and the weather), friendly, and helpful. We look forward to our next visit!!!

I stayed here with our team for the Donna half/full marathon. The service was super friendly and quick. I had one minor issue with the safe in my room, and within 10 minutes Clive was there to fix it. He is the happiest and most upbeat person in FL. It was a pleasure dealing with him. I’ll definitely plan to come back again!

We had a wonderful stay at One Ocean Hotel while in town for our family wedding. The customer service was truly exceptional—gracious, attentive, and thoughtful at every turn. From arrival to departure, the staff went out of their way to make our stay seamless and relaxing during a very special (and busy!) time for our family. We are so grateful for the care and professionalism shown and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful, welcoming oceanfront stay. PS … Ana you rocked!

We live in Alexandria VA and make our way down and up the coast to Florida several times a year and we really enjoy stopping at the One Ocean Resort, soon to be Dune House! Excited for the renovations. We love the location right on the beach and Pet friendly!(for our cat, Snickers) The ocean side rooms are the best shot of the sunrise each morning! The setup with beach chairs, pool, poolside and beach side drinks and food are great! The onsite restaurant Azurea is also great spot. We stay here at least 2-5 times a year! If you’re traveling up and down the coast and looking for a great beach stay then please checkout One Ocean Resort soon to be Dune House! Lorraine at the front desk was great and very informative of the upcoming changes! Also a big thank you to the brand Ambassador Shannon and staff who treated me with a delicious wine and chocolate covered strawberries for my Birthday(Jan 9th).||I highly recommend this resort if you’re looking for a relaxed beach visit!

Absolutely love this resort. We come here all of the time even as locals we still find it a charming escape. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is delicious and the customer service is unbeatable. Love seeing Valerie and Anna at the coffee shop in the mornings. Will be coming here for many years and have already enjoyed so many amazing memories from birthdays to anniversaries. It’s truly one of a kind! Highly recommend!

Alexa Conahan was outstanding as our valet! From the moment we arrived, she was attentive, polite, and incredibly accommodating. She anticipated our needs and made the entire parking experience smooth and stress-free. Her warm demeanor truly made our trip more pleasant from start to finish.

I had a wonderful stay! After enjoying a stunning sunrise, I took an amazing beach swim (60ish degree water was lovely in my wetsuit). After stripping off the wetsuit, I had a bracing final dip then rinsed off under the poolside shower. It was delightful to then continue my swim in the outdoor heated pool. Ahhh. Perfect way to start off the New Year!

My stay was in association with the golden Eagles organization. Working with the team to set up this particularly Logann was fantastic. It was as easy as pie to be led through the process from parking to check-in to banquet to selection to rooms to pricing. The entire team from the time I pulled my car into the valet parking until the time I left was absolutely positively as helpful as could be from the front desk crew to the banquet crew helping me set up the tables to prepare for a meeting of about 65 people. A particular note was Logann again and Tony the banquet coordinator. Exceptional service at every level absolutely spectacular view out my window. The beach was spectacular. Swam in the pool Could not have been any better. Very highly recommend for any individual, couples stay, or organization group event. DENNIS. Will be back next year, I hope.

Beautiful hotel in a great location right on the ocean. Can walk to many shops, restaurants and bars in the nice town square area just steps away. The staff here are very welcoming and eager to please. Everyone I encountered was lovely from front desk to bar staff and housekeeping. I had a king room on side of hotel. Not ocean front, but ocean view and it was beautiful. The one major disappointment was the bathroom. It's very small. Shower door opens and hits bathroom door. Water pressure and temperature of hot water was poor. Otherwise I had a wonderful weekend stay. The pool is beautiful and heated. There's an amazing patio area by pool and outside the bar with ocean view. Walk to the ocean is very quick, and I highly recommend catching a sunrise.

Aesthetically this bar area was exquisite! Walking through the stone hung walls and warm tones of an exclusive lounge area was very inviting to the eye. Top shelf liquors offered, screens are inside no volume if you are trying to watch something. There is large and long tables and bar chairs open setting available, and there is food to order if you would like as well. Right outside catch the ocean vibes, there are tables and chairs where we enjoyed the ocean breeze and setting of the sun with our drinks. Our bartender was sweet and made fantastic variations of our drinks! Loved the views and company most of all!

When booking for a girls trip this resort appeared to check off all the boxes. The images of the rooms on the site make the rooms appear much larger then they actually are. A cheap basic double bed at the holiday in was much more spacious then this resort. The bathroom was super small. You have to stand on one side of the toilet to open and close the door to gain access to the shower. Two women getting ready cannot share this bathroom space! Upon check in we were told water in the room was free but stocked refrigerators were extra. Well, we had an empty refrigerator. The website has no mention of parking but upon arrival it's valet ONLY. Adding the do not disturb sign to your door served no purpose as we woke to the cleaners knocking on our door at 7:45 AM! Check out instructions were text on check out day at 8:05 AM but check out is at NOON. No sleeping late at this resort! We had spa appointment on arrival day at 5pm. Three women in our party and two of the three were very disappointed. Ginny was amazing but the other two not worth the money! $170 deep tissue (wind surfer) was NOT even close to a deep tissue. I even requested her to go deeper and she didn't. She spent 12 seconds (yes I counted) on each foot and didn't even massage hands or neck. 22% gratuity automatically applied regardless of your service experience. I went in before my friends and one of my friends was done before I was making her total massage time around 35mins. We were not offered any refreshments but saw other women with champagne flutes (website says spa offered light refreshments). The mini cookies that were on a counter were removed before we were done with massages so definitely no snacking after, these ladies were ready to go home! We had ten minutes to get dressed after our massages so no time to use the showers or hot tub. The door or lack of door to the spa exposed us while changing to anyone in the hall including men who were gaining access to the men's spa side. That was awkward! We couldn't find ice machines so we called front desk and ordered ice and it didn't arrive for several HOURS! First morning we had NO HOT WATER for showers! Overall the resort was very pretty, clean and a super close walk to get to the beach and local restaurants. Once you park there is really no need to drive so I give location a five but spa and hotel service a 2! If you are allergic to dogs please be advised this is a dog friendly resort. We happened to love the fur babies but if you have severe pet allergies please be aware.

The One Ocean resort had a nice king side bedroom. It was quite clean and looked great. Service and staff were very friendly! It is located next to the beach and you get two chairs and an umbrella during your stay. The pool and fitness center were nice. Housekeeping comes daily if you need anything You do have to pay for valet parking everyday which can add up quick. Overall I enjoyed my 5 day stay here.

Nice, quiet & clean hotel. It's dated and beginning to show its wear. The room furnishings are aged. The lobby couch cushions are soiled as well. The ridiculous $35/day "resort fee" added at checkout is complete BS, especially for business travelers who only sleep & shower in the hotel. Who uses the pool in the dead of winter?

The rooms smell like damp mold. The carpet is older than me and so is the decor. And my TV didn't work. Had to ask for that fix and still no real improvement. Sucks

I am very disappointed with this hotel. I paid for a PURE Wellness Oceanfront King Balcony room, and was downgraded to a normal oceanfront balcony room with no air purifier. Walking in we noticed it had a very strong cat urine smell, and within 30 minutes the toilet was overflowing. The room was dated and did not have USB plugs for charging our electronics. When we attempted to obtain a drink in the lounge, we were denied service even though there were still five patrons drinking. It seemed as if we were inconveniencing the staff by keeping them from going home. Finally, when we returned our valet key at 1 a.m., the front desk staff was asleep at her desk, and the security guard instructed us to leave the key next to her head. For the price we paid, we expected a much higher level of service. We will not be returning.

Beautiful location and great staff are the reasons to stay here! The hotel itself is a bit dated, but the facilities are clean and well-maintained. The gym is decent, and the pool area is quite nice with views of the ocean and food and beverage service available poolside. Beach chairs are complimentary (included in the resort fee), which is not the case at all beach resorts. The best part is, of course, being steps away from the sand.

The resort is in a perfect location for spending time on the beach or the ability to walk to superb restaurants and shopping. The experience and customer service was a 5 star! Everyone was friendly and overly helpful. From the friendly and quick valet to the front desk staff to the restaurant/bar staff everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. We booked a corner king room and the size of the room was spacious. The room had a mini-fridge. We didn't realize bottled water was available when you wanted some. We purchased a case of water before our arrival because we try to stay hydrated at the beach. There is a keurig in the room or a free espresso machine in the lobby. The rooms and balcony need a little TLC to get it back to a 5 star resort but it was still very nice. The room and facilities are very clean. The resort has an upscale feel. The pool was warm and clean and the beach access was perfect. The beach had beach chairs and not loungers and no umbrella (maybe because it was March). There is an outdoor fire pit area as well. If we are in the area again we would book at this resort again.

Terrible ! Walk in room and the grout is mildew/mold! Such a disappointed for an expensive "resort". We request rooms next to each other with family in town and thou we were told ahead they could accommodate NOPE!! Didn't even do that! Won't be staying in this place nor recommend this to anyone i know ! Thanks ruining my 40th birthday weekend!!!!

Fantastic beach vacation!!! From the moment we arrived we experienced excellent 5 star service. At check in, Debra was super accommodating of our early arrival which allowed us to utilize a full day at the beach. After soaking in the sun, we arrived back in our room to find a bottle of La Marca Prosecco, some delicious chocolates and a handwritten note- wishing us a happy anniversary. We were utterly impressed by this gesture, because we had only casually mentioned this to Debra. However, she took note of this detail and helped to make our vacation even more memorable. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful! The location (directly on the beach) couldn't be more perfect. We are hoping to make another trip to One Ocean before the end of summer!

Amazing five star experience staying at One Ocean for the weekend! I also booked a spa package with my mother in law and we definitely enjoyed it! I got the "couples massage" package so we both could be together and enjoy a foot soak and massage, chocolate covered strawberries with champagne, half hour in the relaxation room prior to our massage with the view of the ocean, a one hour massage and then another half hour to use the amenities such as their showers, locker rooms, whirlpool and hot tub. It was overall an amazing experience. Afterwards, we took my son to the pool. It was loads of fun. Overall, an amazing experience and the great customer service. I will definitely be coming back again!

ZERO STARS- We pulled up to the valet, who said they ONLY had valet as an option. He never expressed it was an extra charge, or directed us to anywhere else we could park. We walked in around midnight after a long day of driving. We did not have a reservation and booked the room at the front desk. The price for the room, which was a king standard, was quoted at around $375 for the night. The price was a little high, but it was late, we were tired, and we figured the room would be commensurate with such a luxury price tag. Not only was the room old, outdated, small, had no view, and moderately clean, when we got the bill the following day it was $500 flat. After a county tax, tourist tax, and state tax was applied, the room came out to around $425. The $80 charge for "incidentals" was pretty much kept entirely by hotel after a hidden $30 "resort fee" and another $35 flat fee for valet, which was only conveyed to us after the roof was booked. Another frustration point was after we booked the room, we remembered we were AAA members and could have had a discount. When we asked if the transaction could be done over, the front desk said it was too late. Overall we genuinely felt ripped off. I have stayed in $400/night hotel rooms and I know what kind of experience that price tag commands. This experience fell WELL short. They didn't even have food options when we arrive. For $500/night that's pathetic. We've called the hotel twice now to discuss our experience and twice have been told to call back another time when a manager is available. The best they could offer was to waive the hidden resort fee that should never have been charged in the first place. So even after the fact, customer service is non-existent. Overall a pretty disappointing experience, and that's an understatement. I would never recommend anybody I know to stay at this hotel and I fully regret choosing this hotel over the Sheraton, right down the road, for $250/night, and relatively brand new. Just to add to the list of issues with the actual room. We felt like we were in a Holiday Inn. It was small, old, the furniture was chipped, that bathtub was dirty, the complimentary toiletries were low quality, no balcony and a view of the top of the flat roof of the building next to us. The TV in the room wasn't even a smart TV, which is standard in almost every hotel I've stayed in for the last 5 years. We had been driving all day and got in around midnight, so by the time we saw the actual room after check in, we did not have the energy to fight or make an issue. We just wanted to sleep. The air quality was musty, as would be expected of an older, run down hotel. In short, where do you get off charging $500 fucking dollars a night for this hotel?! Photos will be uploaded shortly. - not to mention, there was missing furniture in our room so they misrepresented their room online.

Beware of theft! We left our room yesterday and housekeeping was coming in to clean. I had a custom bag from Guam my husband got me last year after a military work trip. When we got back to the room, it was missing. We spoke with management who says housekeeping didn't take it. Another staff member says this was not the first time they have heard of this happening. To top it off the AC in the room was not working correctly either night. We won't be back and neither should you. Hope whoever has my Guam bag is happy and can sleep at night.

We were there for a specific event. Reserved room in advance. Arrived at 3 pm to check in. Connor told us room "as ready but had not been checked by supervisor/housekeeping". He would text us when room was ready. Luckily, our friends had checked in the day before so we could go to their room to wait with them. Connor held our luggage for delivery when room was ready. At 4 pm we returned to desk and Connor told us room was now ready (no text received). Given keys and told luggage would be right up. Our event was starting at 5:30 and we needed to shower/change. Arrived in room and called for ice at 4:10 pm; phone rang over 20 times before being answered. After 45 minutes and another phone call, luggage finally delivered. Showered and changed clothes. Ice arrived at 5:45pm - "just got the message" per staff delivering ice. Late to event due to above delays. Missed reception prior to dinner. Event dinner - rubber chicken - very tough; beef delicious as was salad and dessert. Also from check in you had to take stairs or elevator to 2nd floor then walk to another set of elevators to get to one that would take you up to your room!! Craziest set-up we've ever seen. For the price, definitely not worth what we received.

Lovely! The spa is fantastic. Facilities are nice and modern. Ocean view when sitting in the waiting area is spectacular. A 90 minute massage is well worth your time and money. Staff is nice and welcoming. Just a wonderful experience. As a California visitor, I will always make it a point to make an appointment.

Everything was splendid! Jake at the Valet station took my keys and gave me a ticket and he recommended for us to take a picture of our ticket in case it gets lost. So, Tammy and I did take a picture. Glad we did, we did loose the ticket. LOL! Then we met JT at the Valet station. Man, he was da BOMB! He took our bags up to our room after we picked up or card keys and room number. He helped us get our bags off the cart and he ran and picked up ice for us! He was very professional and helpful. The front desk is wonderful. Everyone we talked to or when we needed more ice or anything like more coffee, sugar, cups etc, we texted the front desk and it would arrive within a minute or two. Our room was two double beds and very comfy. We only had a side view of the beach. No balcony. Before Tammy and I left, we planned for another stay very soon. I love the fact that the hotel is walking distance to the everything. The Beaches Town Center is in the same block. We had a three day stay and never had to drive anywhere. We walked to get our coffees, breakfasts and lunches. Then we went shopping. There are wonderful shops in the Town Center.

I only visited the spa. It is 5 stars plus. If I died and went to heaven I think it would be this spa. So gorgeous, smells heavenly, and everyone is so nice! They greet you and give you a little tour, plus a complimentary champagne or mimosa. The ladies lounge has a delightful hot tub, steamer/shower and locking lockers. They supply a luxury robe and slippers. Then on to the relaxation room where you enjoy comfy chairs and a beautiful view of the ocean. The signature massage was totally wonderful. So many thoughtful touches, even the little shell box to place your jewelry. After your service, you can relax a bit more then drift out and on to the rest of your day. They include the gratuity automatically and all the staff provide service worthy of the fee.

I'd give it a Big Fat ZERO IF I Could!!! Don't even try to cancel your room it's insane they have 3rd party bookings & you cannot get anywhere with them. Took over 5 calls to different booking agencies to finally find exactly who to cancel the resv with! The number to the Resv line Looks like it's there at the hotel- but it's not! Horrible service! Even signing on to their web site you're sent to third party web sites!! With ABSOLUTELY NO KNOWLEDGE OF THAT !!!! No idea who takes the resv and after several tries to cancel the resv we were told it's Expedia who booked it - HA NOoooo!!! Expedia didn't have the resv either!! This is too annoying to ever try to book a resv here ever again! And we've been to this hotel many times!!! SORRY ONE OCEAN YOU'VE LOST A FEW GREAT CUSTOMERS !! Done with it. Had enough of this annoyance.

The Absolute Best Resort Ever!!! I've been there 3x's and each time was better than the last! I can not wait to bring my friends there for an extraordinary experience & memories that will last a lifetime!

We went in with high hopes for a staycation. Every year we do a small staycation for my husbands bday. Usually we pick a five star property but this one was ranked really highly and half the cost so we said let's try it. The positives are close to beach, close to town center, and restaurants. My husband went to the spa and thought it was excellent. The cons: when we went to have our car valeted they said they'd get a bell hop and they didn't so we had to do it ourselves with an infant. They did hold our bags till our room was ready. Our room was ready two hours early so another plus. I had called ahead to guest ambassador to see if I could surprise my husband with something in the room for his birthday she said they usually do champagne and chocolates. I said great! Arrive to room and nothing is there so I ask and some one from room service about it. I am brought an envelope and a card saying happy birthday to my husband for one free drink ticket. We had a dinner reservation there and had ten dollars off dinner. Service was great at dinner and did remember it was his birthday. Food was nice presentation but a little bland. Overall would spend more money for a five star property. We stayed at a brand new Hampton inn at Bartram Park and it was a nicer bigger room. I would go to the spa here.

I had a Mayo Clinic appointment so wanted to find a property on the ocean so I had a nice place to return to after visiting the doctor. Frankly, I was shocked at the prices that the hotels in Neptune/Jacksonville Beach/Ponte Vedra area were commanding during the off season. I figured if we are going to spend the money, I would rather stay in a plush resort than a chain hotel. We also liked the area that this hotel was located, as there were plenty of shops and restaurants a stones throw away. First impressions of the property were meh. The lobby area was huge, but not inviting. The minimalist decor and the cold marble did nothing to enhance the experience. I felt like I entered someone's palatial home that hadn't been occupied in years. It appeared that they once had a lobby bar, but now it was just a vast empty space. The elevator only took you to the second floor where you then had to walk to another set of lifts to get to your room. Our room was nothing special. The best feature was the balcony. The bathroom was ridiculously small. The door was inches away from the toilet upon opening, The bed looked fresh and inviting, but overall, the room was certainly showing its age. The pool area was nice but it wasn't grand or luxurious like one would imagine upon hearing the word "resort". Beach access was excellent, and the views from the balcony were awesome. In regards to service, the valet stood out the most. These guys were superb. I wish I could remember their names. Upon return from my clinic appointment, we didn't even have to ask.....they had my wheelchair out and ready. The guys were respectful, courteous and super friendly. If the room cost hovered around $150/ night I would consider coming back. But since it was way above that and didn't even include all the other fees and taxes which probably added about $80 additional per night, we will pass.

I did not stay the night here - However a friend did and I was able to check this hotel out. The room looks very modern and clean. The hallway had the old style carpet and elevators seems a bit dated. The pool has it's own bathhouse and is a very short walk to the beach. The access is card gated. The pool was a bit crowded while I was there though. I would definitely keep this as one of the places to stay if we ever decided to spend a night in Neptune Beach.

Gorgeous location, great pool and oceanfront view. The rooms are large and luxurious. Definitely an expensive place for a getaway. My husband and I went for a few nights for our honeymoon. It was a major splurge for us. We loved their coffee tray they bring to your room. We went in August and they place kinda felt empty but fancy. We upgraded to a nicer room but didn't feel like it was quite worth the cost. They did allow us to downgrade the next night but it did take some extra phone calls to sort out the bill. They brought us complimentary chocolate covered strawberries which were very tasty. The bed was super comfortable and the shower products were aWesome molten brown brand. The service was okay, but a little impersonal. I think some people prefer that with a luxury resort, but I am kinda ild school. I like homey interactions with the front desk. We didn't try the restaurant but we did peak in and it has a very cool bar. There is a poolside bar which is nice too. They offer complimentary bikes to use and we def took advantage of that - even thOugh the Florida heat nearly squelched us. There is an expensive resort fee to park, so we just ubered theree. Neptune beach is really beautiful! If you like privacy, luxury and amazing beach views, this is a great place to stay. If you want to save money and be close to the same great restaurants, maybe check out the next door Sea Horse Inn instead.

I come to Jacksonville a lot for business and this is my go to place to stay. Very friendly staff and the rooms are always clean. A+++++ All Around!

We stayed in a corner room on the seventh floor. One Ocean is one of the best hotels in Beaches area of Jax. It is owned by Remington Hotels. The facility is oceanfront, offers valet parking, outdoor pool, spa, and an on-site restaurant with excellent Happy Hour Specials. Four stars is due to not having a hot tub in the pool area and limited food and drink options in the takeaway store.

Deborah and the staff here were incredibly rude, unprofessional, and lacking customer service. During my stay, the valet staff lost my car key and they had to call pop a lock to forcefully unlock the car to retrieve important items for my engagement party. I was 2 hours late to my party and was forced to Uber 34 mins away there and back. They did not find my key until the following day. It fell while they were parking another car and it was inside of another guests car. They did not offer sufficient compensation and were u willing to work with us. Deborah's response was "things happen"... I have stayed at this hotel for over 15 years even in the nicest of rooms and I'm highly disappointed with the new management / ownership this place is really going down hill. Avoid this place

Upon arrival at check in I was told I must pay an additional charge for "incidentals" of $200. Up front. As I had booked and paid online and had stayed here before I was aware of the resort fee and parking fee but nothing near an additional $200. - I was only booked for two nights. I stay here twice a year and have been doing this for the last five years and had nothing but good to say about past experiences. I asked what is the extra $200. (Minus the obvious resort/parking fee) and was told it was for any damage to the room - I was shocked! I am 72 years old - I am here for two nights - and hardly use two towels and even make my own bed! I come for a semi- annual doctor visit in Jacksonville. I do not even use the bottled water or eat the snacks. So for me I felt it was outrageous that they are now charging an upfront $200. Charge for something that has never happened and is not going to happen and that I am going to have to expect to receive a refund for at check out! I told them I had planned on using their spa for a massage but since they are holding my money now that won't be happening. I spent one night and called my travel agent the next morning and told them I was checking out early and my appointment was at 9:30 so I missed the manager. Luckily, I had purchased the trip cancellation policy. I loved staying here years past but this ruined my little getaway and I will say never again. I am still awaiting the $150.12 that they owe me after my fees came out of my $200. I paid that they are still holding - which I was told would be refunded at check out. If I never get it - there will be another review. So disappointed in what used to be my fun little getaway place and what a way to treat a repeat customer! If I had stayed both nights and they had/ kept that additional $200. It would be over $700. For my stay and it was not even a balcony room. Really do not "get" this "new policy" but buyer beware!

I will start off by saying this is not my first time staying here. However it might be my last. Pros: the location is off the hook! Its accessible to great restaurants, of course the beach is perfect & the ambiance overall is alive. So if I did come back it would be because of the location! I know their spa services are amazing here, expensive but amazing. I didn't experience this in this visit but it's off the hook. In addition the hallways are clean and gorgeous. The lobby is beautiful and clean. Cons: For the amount of money you spend for a room- the room needs to be updated. I get that if not all then almost all of the rooms are a standard size (not very big), but update your rooms. TV is outdated! Furniture is outdated. It really looks like furniture from a Comfort Suites or Motel 6. I have gone to resorts of greater status and paid less. Parking fee is absurd! Park in the street - pay $12 from 11am- midnight. The first time we came- we loved little things that they have been eliminated for maybe the Covid or for some other reason. But they would have a personal concierge for us. In addition, they would also have the rooms with small goodies of chips and snacks. That's done away with! And I guess because of the Covid- the guys that work the valet would open the door every chance they got when you walked through the main doors. Not anymore! Now I will say the biggest disappointment! 3 days prior to us staying we received an email expressing to us a "FLASH SALE" - it included the parking, breakfast, champagne and something else. Now that's unfair!! I called and tried getting that deal which was the same price but with all those perks- they refused to pivot in their position. Since they have a 72 hour cancellation clause - and we didn't make the cut off I couldn't cancel my appointment either. I've stayed at the Hyatt, the Ritz & they have honored bigger and better deals even if it was a last second thing. They care about their customers! I think customer service has gone down!

Black American Traveler - women, two teenagers, & baby $301 ttl/night Appearance - HISTORIC Jax feel beautiful well kept property; the fountain on entry is calming; clear halls and ADA accommodation for those who don't climb stairs. Pool area (a little small) Bar and music playing, quick grub bites available, outside seating ("say less")...BEACH ACCESS (take ur room key) 1. hospitality - a cordial attitude would be appreciated vs beglamoring & POMPOUS Agents at hotel made suggestive comments as if they were bothered (hotel - "u can do what other guest do" me - "u can do what other upscale hotels do in big cities"...me - "I'm sorry I just can't find the wifi password" hotel - "it's located on your key card" me - " I do not see it" hotel - "it's in really small fine letters at the bottom of your key cards"; Pool towels were not available although the front desk suggested they were (I spoke to a member of the hotel who was manning the water areas, I wasn't able to get an ETA on towels nor was any accommodation made, so we went to the water area without towels) Umbrella seating was not available although the front desk agent affirmed they were available; Reservation were needed at restaurant (unbeknownst to me) I was told I can eat in the lobby by hotel staff (I DONT EAT IN LOBBIES ma'am); No transportation available (no shuttle transportation nor partnership with Uber for priority pick up) PLEASE GO OVER ALL ACCOMMODATIONS AT ARRIVAL INCLUDING WHAT IS INCLUSIVE WITH STAY (annoyed) 2. Furniture upgrade - rust stains on the shower bar and rings; chipped wood furniture; stuck drawers, bar cabinet not closing all the way; robes in the closet need to be refreshed (DINGY) 3. Valet - some of the staff are prompt and some are judging not a consistent experience. We drove my daughters car...‍(Let's talk about early morning checkout - NO VALET Also, the hotel agent was not able to find my car; when I gave it a try I was left walking in a dark parking lot then a CRAZY EXPERIENCE OF SOMEONE FOLLOWING ME) (where's security?)

So beyond disgusting and dirty! After switching to 3 different rooms trying to find a MOLD free room I realized I would be out of luck! Literal black mold visibly growing on the walls in all 3 rooms I looked in, nasty dirty headboards, gross gross gross! We left early we were so grossed out

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort had direct access to the beach and is located in a very cute entertainment district with shops and restaurants within walking distance. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a wonderful view of the beach.

Spent a wonderful and relaxing day at the spa at One Ocean. The facilities are so nice, the services are amazing and the staff is so professional. Enjoy the relaxation room with great ocean views and the hot tub in the lounge after your spa services.

As a local, we love One Ocean. The staff is taking social distancing measures seriously and we felt safe. The bar is swanky and drinks are good. The spa is beautiful. Along with the oceanfront, One Ocean is steps away from lots of bars, restaurants and shopping. We will be back!

Hard to believe this is a 4 star. I think 3 star would be more accurate. Furniture is worn out, stained and sheets were stained as well. However, cleaning staff was very pleasant. Resorts charges for beach chairs which I though was odd for a "resort". Best part was the beach cruisers that were included. Parking fee is $15/night, pet fee is $150. Granted we did not experience the full Resort due to COVID (spa and restaurants were closed)- but I definitely would not call this "luxury". Priceline booking stayed that each double bed deluxe room included microwave and "tiled floor", but the room is carpeted.

The rudest experience I've ever had for a supposed high end hotel. I was in the area and was looking for a place to stay and they wouldn't allow me to book at the counter. I was told to go book online only. I also was not allowed to see a room to see if i even wanted to stay here. So I went to my car to book online. All of a sudden some man starts beating on my car window scaring me to death yelling at me to move my car because I was in the valet. I would never ever stay here or recommend anyone that comes to this town to EVER stay here after this experience. Unbelievable lack of southern charm.

One Ocean Spa is one of my FAVORITE spas to visit! I've been to spas all over the country and I can honestly say it's one of the best. I love walking down the long corridor and being greeted halfway down with a friendly "Hello Mrs. Junker! It's nice to see you again!" Then it's off to the locker room to change into the plush robe, and then unwind in the relaxation room with a glass of champagne overlooking the beautiful beach. Ahhhhhh... Not only do you get to enjoy all of the posh amenities of a spa on the beach, but the massage therapists are all extremely good at what they do. They offer a variety of massage techniques and therapies that will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed. If you're looking for a great spa experience, One Ocean is the place for you!

Disclaimer: only visited for the grand reveal of their Gingerbread house! But I have always wanted to come check out this place! It was as fancy as thought it would be! Beautiful layout, decor was very fitting for the beach. They make a HUGE Gingerbread house each Dec. and it's open to the public to come check it out, they even had a lil Viewing party to kick it off, they made cookies ( Gingerbread, of course!) and spiced cider, very cute!! They have an amazing restaurant in the hotel called Azure and we walked around to check it out and wow, how beautiful!! The decor is fantastic and the food looks just as good! I'll have to go back to eat there and see if it tastes as good! :) This whole area of Atlantic Beach is so nice now! Great area to walk around!

My family decided to have our first famcation and it included about 30 of us. When we arrived I was impressed with the valet and the front desk services. Unfortunately when we got to our rooms, we found that we did not have the oceanfront views I thought we reserved as our block of rooms. Weeks before arriving me nor my sister could not find our original reservation emails. I thought it was really weird but then we arrived and no one in our group had oceanfront. Hmm!! Then we reserved a "Presidential Suite" for our Family Mixer and it was just a regular suite, nothing presidential about it. Thankfully all 30 family members did not show up. But again, the staff was super friendly and helpful. On Saturday we planned a beach day that did not turn out as expected. The winds were aggressive to put it mildly and we weren't able to put up our large tent. The resort agreed that we could then use the patio outside of the restaurant. I thought that was really nice and it would save the day. Unfortunately, almost minutes after setting out the food we were informed that we could not have food outside of what was purchased from the restaurant because it was against their health and safety standards. We decided we would regroup and moved the food back upstairs to one of our rooms. It would be very inconvenient but we would make it work. As soon as we unloaded we received word that the issue had been resolved and we could bring everything back downstairs. At this point, we were beyond annoyed only to find out that the reason it was now allowed is because one of our family members asked if there was anything else we could do and was told that if we purchased something from the restaurant we could bring the food we already had back out. So my question was "what happened to the health and safety standards"? All they had to do is tell us in the first place instead of lying about their so called health and safety standards. By this time, I had a negative impression of the resort or at least the restaurant and would not make any recommendations. Throughout our stay the staff with the exception of one valet as absolutely wonderful and accommodating. Also, after my cousin discussed our disappointment with the rooms and the restaurant staff they refunded some of the expense. We definitely could appreciate the effort to make things right.

I adore how Ariana continues to have a great attitude night after night, along with assuring each guess has an amazing personal experience as they check in for their stay. She also manages her time well, assuring all of her administrative work is taken care of in a timely manner. I appreciate Ariana. She's such a great asset to the team!

The spa was meh at best. Was very surprised at how small the women's lounge is and how dated the common 'relaxation' area is...also how pathetic that they only have Trader Joe's cookies and trail mix as a snack! I went for a Sea Foam Envelopment with a Fiji style scalp treatment. The esthetician (who was barefoot btw) didn't have a clue what a massage is. She merely just rubbed lotion on my body, no pressure, nothing. Also, there was no shoulder/neck massage. Also, the scalp treatment was awful...she just put oil in my hair...NO SCALP MASSAGE! These people have no idea how to run a quality spa, but have the audacity to charge prices like they are. I will NEVER go to this overrated spa/hotel again and honestly hope it closes down for something worthwhile. Oh, they kept mentioning that I will get champagne at the end of the treatment, but oh, they forgot. Shocking...stupid people work here.

I was not told when I booked the room that it was valet only. O, I get it. I've lived here for most of my life. I know hit it can be over here with parking. But that's a balance I'll reflect on when the charges show up. The front desk staff was amazing. The valets where prompt and amazing. The room service, again amazing. My only issue is, when I get a room with no opening windows. Just wishing to get small alone time and to get fresh air. I have a valid key, and just wanted to sit by the pool and get some of that fresh air. I get yelled at by the staff that the pool area is closed. I understand all of the regulated areas for safety purposes. If a person is just sitting alone though. . . All in all. Take it or leave it. You can still get your mayporr/atlantic beach fun at the sea side next door. And I'll take the liberty over the comfort next time.

Excellent food, atmosphere and service!!!! The ambience is so peaceful and elegant. The chef is top notch.

Do not go here, customer service was completely none existent. We arrived to the rudest agent possible that was determined to make our night horrible. We arrived at 4:00am, they refused to give us a hotel room because their machine was down, which is not our problem. We were racially profiled and treated horrible, while seeing the front desk agent treat other people (different race) great and with respect. All of this could have easily been avoided because our room was already paid for and we had proof of that, but she said we may destroy the room so since she could not run our card because of their machine being down, we are grown and professional's definitely not destroying rooms. It could have been a simple fix, simply give us the key and run our card in the morning once the machine is up.

Very well trained staff and fantastic service. We have been to one ocean lounge and restaurant at least a dozen times and every visit is excellent.

I stayed here with my dog. The place was really quite a hidden gem right on the water. We had a view of the ocean. Honestly, the most refreshing part was how attentive and helpful the employees were. I will come back again and you should try it too.

This is a very nice hotel / Resort & spa in a great location close to a lot of great places to eat and right on the beach. We needed 17 rooms and they said sure come on in so we did. The service was very fast and friendly. The rooms where clean and the beds where comfy too.

We stayed here during our vacation we decided to extend our stay for a few nights excellent rooms very clean and Mohammed was very accommodating and polite.. would definitely stay again.

My frend and I stayed at One Ocean for one night; the 21st of March this year. It was a short girls' weekend and I believe our experience was unique; I can only hope it was unique as my use of that adjective is not positive. Upon our arrival there were two employees at reception with no other guests needing their assistance. A young woman took our paperwork and for sixteen minutes we wtached her watch her computer screen. A myriad of expressions flitted across her face: bemusement; confusion; exasperation; disbelief; realization; confusion again. It was not exactly entertaininng but it did help fill the otherwsie very long and quiet sixteen minutes. At that point her male counterpart came over, mumbled a question at her as he gently nudged her out of his view of the computer. He then spoke to us, "You guys have separate rooms?" I started to look over my shoulder for the "guys" when I realized we were they. Several more minutes of computer gazing ensued and then an older employee apppeared and asked, "What is the problem here?" This seemed to suggest she had been aware via camera that our check-in was not progessing well. This seasoned employee took over and within ten more minutes we had room assignments, a coupon for the bar and a box of chocolates. All together a half hour process but things were looking up. Not for long. We eschewed the gorgeous serpentine marble staircase (we were celebrating our 75th birthdays) and took the service elevator to the second floor, then walked the long winding hallway past the spa to the guest elevators. As my friend disembarked on the fourth floor we agreed to meet in the bar in twenty minutes and I proceeded to the sixth floor where my room was located. I did find the room but neither of my keys worked. As I was not now particularly feeling the $380 a night rate, I decided to call the front desk. I did so and asked that someone bring me a working key. Fifteen minutes later "someone" had not appeared and so I called again. "I forgot" was explained to me. Five minutes later I turned the old keys over to the employee and watched as she successully opened the door to my room. Off she went, in I went. About ten steps down a little hallway one turns right into the actual room and the stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean. So beautiful I almost did not notice the suitcases in the room, the pile of collected seashells on the desk, the sweater on the chair. But then I did see all this and the adrenaline rush of realizing I was in the room of another guest was immediate and intense. I could not get out of there fast enough. I fled down to my friend's room, heart tripping like a wild horse, and told her what had happened. Leaving my suitcase in her room, we went down to the lobby and back to the reception desk. Jeepers. They corrected my room assignment, gave me more new keys and both of us a free drink at the bar. That's where we went and stayed; it felt safe. Eventually we were called to our dinner reservation a few steps away. My friend described her dinner as delicious but mine was mediocre, at best. However, the wine was good. Around 9PM we went back to her room for a last glass of wine on the balcony as we listened to the waves. After that I took my suitcase and went two floors up to enter my room for the first time. The key worked But... but on the desk was a large platter covered with a traditional silver cloche, a folded piece of cardstock on top and in fancy script the words, "FOR MY BELOVED WIFE." The platter contained a large assortment of fruits, breads, cookies and a small pot of chocolate. I knew for a certain fact that my husband had not sent this to me. So, I got my keys, picked up the platter and went down to my friend's room to see if she thought perhaps her husband had sent this. We both laughed somewhat hysterically as neither of us - both married 53 years - had ever heard our husbands refer to us as "beloved." Nope. We were not "beloved", but bless her hungry heart. Eventually I went back to my room - very concerned that "Beloved Wife" was going to show up at some point. I was careful to use all of the locks available on my door. In the morning we left. My experience at One Ocean.
