ONE STATION HOTEL KUMAMOTO

This hotel has just been newly renovated, so everything feels very clean and fresh. Guests can enjoy unlimited alcoholic drinks every day — you can either mix your own or order directly at the bar, all for free. The staff are also extremely polite. The location is extremely convenient as well — it’s right next to the JR station, only a one-minute walk away. Parking is available at the Kumamoto Station No.3 parking lot behind the hotel. From 3 PM until 12 PM the next day, it only costs 1,000 yen per night, which is very reasonable. If I come back to Kumamoto again, I would definitely choose to stay here.

Lobby was really nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. Only downside is how far it is from the main areas of Kumamoto. However, tram station is right outside. Parking was very easy to find.

I spent three nights here. It’s a stone’s throw from the station but quite a distance from the centre of Kumamoto. This suited me as I was using the hotel as a base to visit Mt Aso and Takachiho on two of the three days so it was perfect for me. ||It’s quite an old hotel and traditional in many ways but it’s been renovated to a good standard, the room was very comfortable and it’s professionally run.||I can’t remember the last time I had an actual key rather than a card for my room. Quaint!

Location is so convenient as the hotel is just next to Kumamoto train station. There is a supermarket at the train station where we could buy affordable but delicious fresh shashimi and eat to our hearts' content.Room is clean, with toiletries at reception. Just pick what you need and don't waste if you don't use, don't take.Will definitely recommend to friends as the location is perfect for older people like us.

Location is superb, just 1-2 min walk to Kumamoto station and AMU Plaza. Plenty of eating choices. Room size is great, but comes at a price. Room amenities working fine, room cleaning service is ¥1000/day. Tram and bus stops to places of interest are convenient and close to hotel. Overall a good hotel stay.

Everything was great! The hotel is very near the station, making it super convenient. The room was spotless, the staff were friendly, and the facilities were excellent. Overall, a very satisfying stay — would definitely come back!

Never have I ever seen a hotel that would not keep a delivery for guests. And front desk can’t even speak English and attitude was horrible and multiple sears standing there doing nothing so the brave the staff to take care of deliveries . Unacceptable
