One Suite THE GRAND (Nakijin, Kunigami-gun, Okinawa Prefecture) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The tiny, mile-wide Kouri Island, informally known as Love Island for its heart-shaped rock formations, lies just two short bridge crossings from the main island of Okinawa. This little speck of paradise is fringed by sandy beaches, and though it’s solely a leisure destination, it’s not a busy one. This means plenty of tranquility is on offer at One Suite The Grand, a 21-room luxury boutique resort in a contemporary-classic style. Sea-facing terraces are universal, and many of the terraces include outdoor jacuzzis." - Tablet Hotels

We had a great experience staying at this hotel for 3 nights. We travelled all the way from Australia to Okinawa to enjoy our honeymoon and this hotel didn’t let us down. All the hotel staff always have a big smile on their face when serving us and are all caring and have strong attention to detail. The view is just amazing and food was delicious. YES, it is very expensive but we feel like it’s worth every dollar we spent here. Location isn’t that convenient unless you have your own car. I wanna particularly thank to the staff who helped us with carrying the luggage since we have 4 big suitcases which are all heavy. Doing this during 30 degrees hot day isn’t fun. So BIG THANK YOU to your hotel staff. We will definitely come back again. We feel like 3 days is too short🤣

Great place, it's a little far off, which makes this places very tranquil and serene. Staff were happy to take us to any restaurants nearby so the somewhat remote location didn't stop us from exploring places. Staff were simply amazing at this place, giving great attention to detail. Everything was really clean and they offered two pools, a sauna, a small hot tub and a gym. Breakfast was amazing as well - we were able to choose between Western and Japanese breakfast, which varied every day. They also have a spa which offers massages and beauty treatments. We had a rental car and I would recommend anyone to get one if possible to give more flexibility, though taxis are also available.

Beautiful hotel and a real oasis to find. Many small extras included including a long happy hour. In-house dinner is a tasting menu (can be good to plan in the price of that as it is a lovely experience); vegetarian was accommodated if fewer courses (still plenty and cheaper rate). Hotel then shuttled us to other restaurant on second night. Food, views and taking it slow are appreciated here. New wellness area also very pleasant with cool plunge and sauna and garden pool as alternate to the infinity pool views. A little off the beaten track but only a short drive from e.g. the Aquarium. Well worth the stay.

The room is nicely decorated with a lot of great features. The amenities are also great as well. However, it is worth noting that the fine-dining experience may not be that valuable. We were informed that the menu has changed from 9 courses to 8 courses. Also, the ingredient with the rice set has changed from fish to corn as well. I am kinda wondering why this restaurant can get Michelin one star. Overall, it’s a great hotel to stay. However, you may go to other restaurants for your dinner as the food they offer are not worth 140 USD

We had our wedding at One Suite - I 100% recommend this hotel both as a place to stay, but also as a venue for one's special day. The staff are perfect, and have impeccable attention to detail. The hotel is stunning, with an awe-inspiring view out into the ocean. The rooms are luxurious and understated, with charming touches like fresh coffee to grind & a station to mix bath salts. Our suite even had a beer tap! For the wedding, the food was delicious - a big part of the reason we chose this venue. The hotel provided a great range of drinks, and were creative in the cocktails and spirits on offer. It is a stunning place to get married. I am confident we are going to return in the future as this hotel now occupies a special place in our hearts. Thank you to everyone at One Suite who made our dream a reality.

Outstanding service and friendliness. The staff was very caring and helpful. The location is a little bit remote but the hotel offers a shuttle service to many restaurants on the island. On the plus side the remote location offers a high level of quietness and relaxation. The food was delicious and masterfully crafted. The rooms are specious and very clean. 5 out of 5 stars!

WOW! This place was absolute paradise. It’s about a 90 minute easy drive from Naha airport. Highlights:||- Japanese brekky – WOW again, the most favorite part of our stay just look at my pics.. you’re missing out if you opt for the Western brekky. Have stayed in different 5-star resorts around the world and multiple Amans and this brekky was top 2! Shout out to Yuki in the restaurant, she gave great recs and made our mornings extra bright.|- Happy Hour in the afternoon where there’s Orion on tap|- Don’t forget to try the complimentary sakes, tea, and treats in your fridge|- We made good use of the sauna and the heated spa pool (we went in March so the main pool was too cold)|- Toiletries were divine – sourced from a local store which we actually visited during our stay|- We bought a 2 hour spa package – THANK YOU to Chie and Satsuki in the Spa for the most wonderful pampering massage and facial experience!|- location is great – don’t forget to check out the nearby Izakaya; we ate there twice for the delicious food, great vibes, and reasonable prices!|- We loved wearing the provided PJs too and even purchased matching sets as memorabilia of our stay 😀||The ONLY thing I can recommend is bringing your own outdoor sandals since the provided are one size (so really uncomfortable if you have smaller feet).

Me and my partner stayed here for 5 nights in June 2025. We had a beautiful stay and we cannot recommend this hotel enough. From the rooms, cleanliness, views, food and service from the staff, everything was perfect. We chose the Western breakfast every morning and there was so much to choose from. I celebrated my 30th birthday while we were there and the staff made it truly special by beautiful decorations in the room and little treats left on the bed after dinner. The views were breathtaking and we enjoyed sitting by the pool watching the sunset. We also loved some of the extras the hotel offered like the free shuttle to any restaurant on the island, happy hour in the evening and the turn down service. We also used the spa whilst we there and had a lovely 2 hour treatment each which was heaven. Our spa therapists were so friendly and really took their time to make our treatments personalised. The attention detail was second to none. We would definitely recommend hiring a car to stay here as it’s in a remote location which we liked as it was so peaceful but it also gave us a chance to see other parts of the island. If you’re looking for a peaceful, serene and adults only hotel in the Kouri area then this hotel is where to stay! Thank you to all the staff who made our stay unforgettable, we hope to return to our favourite hotel in the future!
