One Yellow Rabbit Performance Theatre (Big Secret Theatre)

Went to check out ‘One Yellow Rabbit’s ‘High Performance Rodeo’ and was very disapppointed, there was not a single rabbit nor rodeo, and nothing was high performance, just a bunch of comics…

You never know what you will see at One Yellow Rabbit...always an adventure.

Closing night at Ghost River Theatre's "Echos of the Land" immersed us in soothing sound, gradually preparing us for Indigenous drum songs, stories of the land, spoken word poetry and original music with guitar, piano and harmonica. It was brilliant! I left feeling utterly uplifted and spiritually fed. Kudos to all involved. (Joan Young)

We went to see Lucy Darling and she was amazing! Great magic and brilliantly witty interaction with the audience.

Always interesting, the One Yellow Rabbit High Performance Rodeo theatre festival is worth a try. You'll be hooked and come back every year. We did again this year!

Ok, so. One Yellow Rabbit. What a crew. A performance troupe. Everytime I think of them, I will always see a naked man in my mind. Not in the ladies night/staggette way, covered in oil and pumped up on steroids. BIt was an older, flabbier actor putting on the performance of his life during One Yellow Rabbit's Silver Jubilee. And it was memorable for more than just the nudity, but also the wildly passionate performance as he screamed and yelled and stomped around on stage. The troupe aims to move you, and while that can sometimes be uncomfortable it is always thought-provoking, sensual and intelligent fare. They've also been performing for over 25 years. Each performance is wildly creative, and often puts a unique spin on the tales they tell. At every performance my expectations are turned on their head. And not always by a naked guy, though that would be cool too.
