ONE11 Hotel

"Why book?An enviable location, a hip bistro and a pool mean that this new addition to New Orleans’ mid-range boutique hotel portfolio is well worth checking out. It’s stylish but unpretentious and being so close to both the Mississippi River and the delights of the French Quarter is an added bonus. Set the scene:Located at the end of Iberville Street, there’s not much separating the hotel from the banks of the Mississippi, and some rooms enjoy great views of Old Man River. The aesthetic is unswervingly contemporary with exposed brick, wood beams, and wood and iron columns—elements that hint at the property’s former life as a sugar factory. A comforting orange and caramel hue softens the industrial edges, and young couples relax with cocktails in the public spaces and dining room before heading out into the Quarter. The backstory:This hotel is the first new property to open in the historic French Quarter in some 50 years. As noted, it was previously a sugar factory, but the renovation did not involve any demolition, and so the aesthetic (although subsequently romanticized) remains. Ceiling joists and arched windows with river views are all original features, and they work wonderfully in their new roles. The rooms:Those dramatic wooden beams and exposed brick walls carry the aesthetic through to the guest rooms, the large windows allowing for soft sunlight to imbue them with a welcome dose of cosiness. The wooden frame of the building informs the fittings of the bedroom, with stylish, mid-century modern style sideboards and drawers. The closet/storage space reflects the modern trend of open racks, and the large, glass walk-in showers add to the sense of space. Luxe Matouk linens, a Keurig coffee maker and Malin+Goetz bath products establish a thoughtful approach to the in-room amenities. The suites (names ‘sweets’ in a cute nod to the building’s history) offer great value, especially the Riverbend Sweet with its own private terrace. Food and drink:Batture Bistro + Bar is a large, open plan dining space with a variety of seating options. It’s very much the social space of the hotel, housing the bar as well, with a perpetual buzz of activity. The menu is firmly rooted in New Orleans’ classics but the kitchen brings its own interpretations. Hence the wonder of NOLA Deviled Eggs and the sheer decadence of Boudin Egg Rolls. Small plates are a speciality and there’s a decent cocktail program to back it up. The neighborhood:Although we’re technically in the French Quarter, there’s a buffer between the hotel and the clamor of Bourbon Street and the nightlife in general. This feels assuring, especially for visitors that want to decompress after a night of partying. The river and the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas are on the doorstep, and from the outdoor space on the eighth floor, guests can enjoy unobstructed views of the bend in the Mississippi River and St. Louis Cathedral. The service:The staff have an enthusiastic perkiness to them, and seem proud to be heading up a new French Quarter hotel. It’s a big responsibility but it’s one that they are approaching with energy and professionalism, and they appear to be especially switched on to the nightly happenings and events in the Quarter, and are happy to make recommendations. Accessibility:The hotel is fully accessible and has a number of ADA-compliant rooms. Anything left to mention? The pool area is a welcome addition, and although the bijoux swimming pool is more for lounging than laps, it’s an idyllic place to cool off after a day’s sightseeing, and the terrace is equally commodious." - Paul Oswell

Amazing experience – clean and aesthetic room, friendly staff, and quiet for sleeping but close to the fun! I absolutely loved the aesthetics of the room and hotel. It was also very clean and comfortable. I felt very safe due to the locked doors at night. Furthermore, the staff was always friendly and even helped provide me band-aids when I needed it. I would definitely stay here again if I come to NOLA!

Very cute, centrally located and in walking distance to all of the must see and must eat places! Hotel staff was great! Pool was clean and relaxing! The room…well the bed is not that comfy and the pillows are WACK!!!!! We even asked for different pillows…didn’t help! Wouldn’t be bad if we were only here 2-3 nights but 5 nights and I need to see a chiropractor when I get home! Overall very nice hotel and would def book here again! Would give 5 stars if the bed and pillows were better!

We recently stayed at the One11 Hotel and wanted to begin by acknowledging the positives. The property itself is visually stunning—clearly the product of a thoughtful and ambitious vision. The check-in process was seamless, the hotel was clean, and both the front desk and bar staff were exceptionally welcoming and professional. The location is also prime, making it a convenient spot for exploring the area. However, our experience was significantly impacted by the room’s air conditioning. We completely understand that, given the age of the building, central air may not have been feasible. That said, the AC unit in our room was not adequate for the space. The room remained uncomfortably warm and stuffy, especially with outdoor temperatures in the 90s. At one point, the thermostat was set to 69°F, yet the room remained at 75°F. Maintenance confirmed that the unit was functioning as intended and that this was the maximum output. An industrial fan was brought up as a solution, but it was noisy and offered minimal relief. Unfortunately, due to the lack of effective climate control, we checked out earlier than planned and will not be returning. While the aesthetics and service were impressive, comfort is a priority for us—particularly during the hotter months

This quiet and well appointed Hotel is near (5 minute walk) to the French Quarter . We had a great time, the "contiental" Breakfast was a delight including Pancakes/Waffles and Boiled EGGS (yes Eggs as well). Except for the closeby Train noise (heard in New Orleans) the rooms were quiet. We found the Staff very helpful with Restaurant & other activities Suggestions. Very pleasant and comfortable stay @ ONE 11!

Google
AC doesn't cool down room, only the bathroom and doorway. Room stays same temp despite turning AC all the way down. Pool closes early and it's small. No microwave no fridge, no COLD water. Room looks nice but missing essentials :( Just nice to look at, not convenient.

Our room was clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast was good. Our room had some water leak in from a strong storm that eventually pooled up on our tile, but the staff acted quickly and moved us to another room. There is obscure glass separating the shower from the room, so that may be a bit awkward if you are wanting a bit more privacy depending on who you are traveling with. The location was great, and several places including Bourbon Street are within walking distance. There is a parking lot next to the hotel that is $66 for 24 hours. You can come and go during that time despite what the sign says. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was cold and dismissive, offering no sense of hospitality or warmth. Unfortunately, things only got worse when we brought up a valid concern about our room being directly next to the elevator. The noise level made it nearly impossible to relax or get any rest. When we politely addressed the issue with the general manager, Lisa, her response was both unprofessional and condescending. Instead of offering a solution or showing any empathy, she remarked that we “must have sensitive ears” and then suggested that we look for another hotel if we weren’t satisfied. Rather than making us feel like valued guests, she made it clear we were an inconvenience. At that point, it was obvious we weren’t welcome. We chose to leave and find accommodations elsewhere—where we were thankfully treated with much more respect. I would not recommend this hotel based on the lack of professionalism, dismissive attitude from management, and overall poor customer service. There are plenty of places that understand the meaning of hospitality—this, sadly, was not one of them.

Beautiful ambiance! I love the entire room! It was cozy, quaint, and inviting! The structural details of the exposed brick, wooden ceiling planks, and the cute little windows overlooking the river are very nice touches! I will definitely return!

Yelp
What a great boutique hotel with a great location. Love this hotel and it was perfect for a staycation. The rooms are modern with a nola vibe and all the amenities. Enjoyed the comfortable rooms and so easy to get to everything in the turndown, French quarter area. Love the hotel bar...The Batture. My fav spot in the city. The staff is awesome and always treats us like family.

Yelp
The hotel is located in the heart of the French Quarter, within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions. The hotel has a swanky, modern ambiance. The lobby and rooms are stylish and comfortable. Our room was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was large and had a walk-in shower. The pool is small but never crowded. It's a great place to relax and cool off after a day of exploring the city. Overall: We had a great stay at One11 Hotel. The location, ambiance, room, pool, and service were all excellent. We would definitely stay here again. The only minor issue we had was that the air conditioning in our room didn't get cold enough. The management was very responsive to our complaint and they are working to fix the issue.

Yelp
Great location. They have a roof top terrace that you can sit and watch the boats and ships on the Mississippi. The room was clean and the beds were super comfortable. I would definitely stay here again

Yelp
This hotel is very clean! I enjoyed the modern aesthetic and the convenience of having several restaurants in walking distance as well as the one on the property. The biggest downfall is being located next to train tracks which frequently causes a noise disruption. I've stayed there a few times and would be willing to return.

Yelp
If you don't read any further, take ear plugs. Good quality ear plugs. Things you'll hear in your room: Freight train horns at 2:00 am, guests in the neighboring rooms talking and having sex (different neighbors, those having sex weren't talking), boat horns on the river, the blaring music from the nearby bar on Peters Street, the linen room door in the hallway loudly closing 100-150 times during the housecleaning staff's time on the floor. The bathroom also did not have an exhaust fan, and the sliding barn door did not close tightly, so expect to hear your significant other's "intestinal evacuations." It is not a quiet hotel. Other than the noise, there were a couple of other issues. In our room, although this may not be the case in all of them, two of the bathroom walls were frosted glass and faced the bedroom. This meant that any time the bathroom light was on, say at 3:00 am, the entire bedroom was brightly illuminated. Not really ideal if your spouse is a light sleeper. The staff was generally friendly, but they did have a "security guard" who was completely useless. Every time we walked in at night and she was "on duty," she was sitting at the front desk with 100% of her attention on her cell phone and completely oblivious to anything going on around her. She was sitting in front of a monitor that showed all of the security cameras in the hotel, but she paid zero attention to it. I'm pretty sure Bigfoot could have walked by her and got on the elevator and she wouldn't have noticed. It was so bad I took the attached photo of her staring at her phone and she didn't notice. On the plus side, the hotel is clean and in a good location if you're visiting the French Quarter. But if we go back to New Orleans, we wouldn't stay at the One11 again.

Yelp
I have to start by saying this hotel is astounding. The folks on the front desk, the rooms, the location. Really excellent and someone has clearly spent a lot of money and time and thought on refurbishing. So what's the achilles heel? in one word - the bartender. Without doubt the most awkward and uncomfortable individual I have ever encountered. He was beyond terrible. Bad drinks, worse personality (if one was even detectable). Not sure if related to owner or has compromising pictures but was astonished that this 'front man' would ever be associated with this brand. My advice - find a new person with something resembling an engaging demeanor to be a part of your hotel.

Yelp
First off, let me say this hotel was cute as ever. Joel at the front desk was super helpful, and provided stellar customer service. My stay was brief, but I will definitely consider One11 a New Orleans hidden jewel.

Yelp
As a couple, we've been visiting NOLA every year for five years straight, trying out different hotels every time. This year in 2021, after two long years of quarantining and covid, we wanted to try One11. What drew us to One11 Hotel was its new construction, proximity, great rooftop access, and modern interior design. After a three-night stay, our initial thoughts however were turned upside down. One11 still has a way to go to compete with the other hotels in the quarter. PROS: - The cleanest hotel in NOLA. Not sure if it's because it's a new hotel, or that we came during covid times, but everything was COMPLETELY SPOTLESS. - Ideal proximity to everything you need in NOLA. The riverfront and canal streetcars are only a block away. You can take the less populated riverfront trail to go to the square, the market, and even Cafe DuMonde. - Amazing rooftop views. Especially during covid times, we enjoyed taking our food to go and bringing it up to the rooftop to eat. Unfortunately, there is limited seating up there (just 2 tables, and two sofas) - Spaciousness and completely modern king rooms, which is hard to come by in a city as old as NOLA CONS: - Although One11 used to be an old sugar factory, the steel beams, and solid structure DO NOT MUFFLE SOUNDS. Unless you're on the 8th floor, you hear all your neighborhoods above. EVERYTHING. Full-on conversations, music, and sounds (as if you are there next to them). It is worst at night. - The bedding/linen situation is quite odd. No fitted sheet. Just one top sheet tucked over the mattress, then two top sheets covering a bare duvet. Everything gets all over the place, and with no room service, it's a bit complicated to fix the bed in the morning. Note that the pillows are also very thin, flat, and uncomfortable. - There is a freight train that comes by and honks repeatedly all throughout the day and night, be prepared for more noise. Please note that this is not the hotel's fault, just something to keep in mind when booking. ADDITIONAL NOTES: - One11 provides a pair of earplugs in the top drawer under the Keurig, but they don't help much. - No room service during covid, but we like it this way. I know others may not. - The Mini fridge/cooler is hidden as one of the drawers (under the Keurig) It's super small, only fitting a few cans of soda. Not much. - Keycard elevator access, only. You must scan your room key to use the elevator. OVERVIEW: Would we consider staying at One11 again, probably not. The noise/echoing issue was a huge turn-off, and we come from the largest city in the US (we're used to bustling city noises and crazy apartment neighbors). There are better options in NOLA.

Yelp
Unfortunately, we were not impressed. The rooms are great and nicely decorated and I really wanted to like this place... but there were overall more cons than pros. The front desk staff is incredibly rude. They seem bothered when you even ask a question and are not interested in being kind or helpful. It's as if I'm a disgrace to be staying here as a guest. The restaurant staff is also incredibly rude and unapproachable. They are not open until 3p during weekdays so you dont even have a place to eat at the hotel until the afternoon, and they close at 9 already too. Our room's window shade was also broken so we had to cover the window with pillows to sleep. Would have liked to have a place that was more well rounded than just decent rooms- with friendly staff and a convenient place to eat.. we had to go across the street to the Westin to eat and the staff their said they heard a lot of people complain about the unfriendly staff here. You would think for a hotel that has recently opened and has a killer spot that they would make a lot of effort to be warm and welcoming. They could have done awesome things here. But instead they operate out of entitlement which is a shame.

Yelp
I like to stay at boutique hotels when I travel and the one11 is one of the best. Simple, clean & Cosy. So walkable to everything. No frills but accommodating to all your needs!

Roy N.

Yelp
Stayed at One11 durning a weekend trip , the Hotel interior and rooms were nice. Upon check out Sunday morning we found our car broken into and some items stolen, we parked 20 feet from the front entrance. A total of five othe cars were broken into as well, all other guests. The front desk staff were extremely unhelpful in providing help tor even brooms and such to clean the broken glass off the seats. Additionally, they told me that the police rarely showed up, implying to me that this has been an ongoing problem at the hotel. I think that they have an obligation to either provide security or inform customers of the likelyhood of vehicle damage.

Yelp
What's not to love? It's new - by new, I mean a remodeled old building. Still a very "new" feeling inside. It's beautiful. I can only speak for room 713 - a king room, but it's quite spacious. I love the decor. The front desk agent working when I checked in tonight was lovely. There's a pool on the first floor (I've not utilized it yet) and a rooftop deck that overlooks both the River & the City. Parking is $48 a night. It's self parking with in & out privileges, which is nice, but the price is a little much.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting New Orleans and the hotel exceeded my expectations! The ambiance and aesthetics were beautiful from the lobby to room. Clean, comfortable, and quiet rooms. The desk attendant, Steven went above and beyond accommodating all 6 of us with awesome customer service, personable, friendly and very helpful. The lobby was spacious and comfortable with great drinks at the bar. Highly recommended and we'll definitely book in the future!

Yelp
This place is cute. The breakfast in the lobby is really good for a small hotel restaurant. My complaint is with the rooms. We had two rooms and even though I request connecting rooms, months prior, they weren't able to accommodate us. We ended up having to switch rooms so we could be next door to each other which was a bit of a pain. The rooms don't get completely dark. So as soon as the sun comes up the rooms gets extremely bright and makes sleeping hard. The showers don't get very hot and the pressure is weak. I also thought they could have asked us if we wanted housekeeping service daily. Usually when you check in, hotels now explain the COVID house keeping changes. They guy at the front desk acted like I was putting him out to request service. It was extremely expensive for the service and amenities.

Yelp
I typically spend a good deal of time researching where I'm going to stay whenever I travel. This time was no different but I was hugely disappointed with One11. Sadly I booked this trip as a last minute solo trip because my father just passed away. My intention was to relax and enjoy the memories I had of him in the city, but also to relax in the hotel room, so where I stayed was pretty important. It was just me my husband wanted me to have this time to grieve with no kids. I booked a king room and checked in around 6 PM, I was then told that they did not have my room type available. The guy at the front desk was nice, but assumed I had booked through a 3rd party website. I told them no it was directly from their site.He kept trying to move me to a 2 Queen room saying it was an upgrade.I explained to him the reason for the trip and that normally with the kids that would be the room I would choose but I wanted a king since it was just me. Again he said that they wouldn't have a king bed for my entire stay. He did offer just for the 1st night to give me a king terrace room but that I would have to check out the next day because someone had already booked that room. It's nice they cared about someone else's booking more than mine. I accepted the room thinking in the morning I would talk to their manager and hopefully then they would have a better solution than making me move since again the whole reason for this trip was to relax. When I finally got into the room and opened the curtain I was disgusted the entire view from the room and bed was looking into a parking garage. While the terrace was nice to have it was completely underwhelmed by the huge parking garage. Needless to say it was a horrible 1st day and I was not able to sleep thinking about the room situation. In the morning I was contacted by the general manager, Lisa, I explained to her my problem and the reason for my trip. I was so upset to find that she could really care less about my problem. She stated again that they didn't have my room type and that the room I was in was booked for someone else and that they could upgrade me to a 2 Queen room. I explained just like I did to the front desk person that I wanted a king and it was infuriating that they cared more about someone else checking in than my own reservation. Again, it seemed like she could care less and even seemed offended when I asked for a credit for the inconvenience, which she only ended up giving 20%. The worst part in all of this is because of their error I had another incident occur directly after leaving their property. I booked a king room at the hotel Mazarin and the room smelt horribly of mildew and cigarette smoke. I tried another room at that property and again it was the same thing. I told the front desk lady about my concerns with the room and that I wanted to check out. Unfortunately, she told me I would have to be charged for a one night stay because of their 72 hour cancellation policy, even though I had just made the reservation 30 minutes prior and was only in the room for a few minutes. So again as a result of One11 overbooking their hotel and not having my room available, I am now out $240 for nothing. I'm glad to say i'm now staying at the hotel Monteleone and it is fabulous. By the time I checked in after leaving the Mazarin I was in tears and honestly wanted to go home. The front desk manager was amazing, she offered me tissues and a voucher for their restaurant as a kind gesture and reminded me to try and have fun and remember why I was there. That is what a real hotel manager is supposed to look like, someone genuine who actually cares.

Yelp
Oh One 11 where do I begin!!!!! Let me start with the good! It's a new hotel so everything was pretty new and modern. Joel was great at check in. My room was clean and everything worked. Loved the robe. Loved that the shower head was NOT a rainfall shower (someone thought about the Sistas!) and it didnt take long for the water to get hot AND stay hot. I liked the FREE bottles of water in the room and Smart TV. I appreciated the sliding door separating the toliet area as well as the room and bath area. I enjoyed the terrace, the pool, and the HH beverage. What I DIDN'T like is being billed TWICE!! One being the hotel charge and then ANOTHER pending charge that put my account in the negative for a good 3 days!!! Highly suggest putting your room charge on a CC. Also didn't appreciate the manager asking me, "When I'm going to be done?" and "How long is it going to take?" When filming my hotel tour for my YT in the lobby. You would of thought I was shooting a motion picture the way he practically scolded me saying "filming" wasn't allowed!! If it was done with an iPhone guaranteed he wouldn't have said anything. I also called down to the front desk to request a toothbrush an after waiting 15minutes called AGAIN. Waited about another 5 and it was brought up by none other than the "film critic"!!! THEN, on my last day I came in from being out on the town, sat down to eat my po boy sandwich in what I thought was the lobby but was apparently the "restaurant" and because it was the "restaurant" I couldn't eat my food! was done so I'm thinking , "Whatever lady!" I guess if I ate outside at the pool or maybe two seats over in the "lobby" I wouldn't of got scolded by the bartender. FYI, your Uber/Lyft driver will probably want to drop you off at the Westin since One 11 signage is pretty small. I was going to stay at the W French Quarter and while I don't regret staying here, I just would still look around before booking here again. Maybe try the Westin....

Yelp
We thought we would give one 11 a try and it was a great place to stay. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and very modern with a large walk in shower, comfortable bed, large lg flat screen and a coffee maker. There is a nightly train that runs at around 2am and 6am so book a room in front. Staff is super friendly, bar is great and they're happy to provide extra coffee.

Yelp
I love this hotel so much! It was my first time in New Orleans and I ended up choosing a great hotel! The staff is great. We were able to check in 2 hours early. The room was such a great vibe. Great location. Parking is $45 which is pretty expensive but nonetheless it was an amazing stay. Right across Lululemon!!!

Yelp
Just spent 5 wonderful nights at this brand new hotel. Contemporary Design meets previous sugar factory in a wonderful combination that delights and uplifts. Just stunning. Staff is delightful and responsive, location is adjacent to the French Quarter, and easily walkable to the Warehouse district and CBD. Spotless, friendly and felt very safe around properly masked staff AND other guests. And importantly, a very good value. Can't wait to go back !

Yelp
The One 11 Hotel is a beautiful space however, stay at your own risk. Our family had a horrible experience with our car being vandalized and car theft the hotel did nothing to help. They did not call the police for us. We paid $52 for parking all for our car and others to be broken into. When notifying Bart the Operations manager he never apologized for the incident especially when we cancelled our second night stay after learning our car was broken into. We let the front desk know we felt unsafe and would be cancelling the reservation and waited for the police. This was a total waste of money, endangered our lives and the place is staked out by people in the parking lot nightly to see who they can rob or break into their cars. All of which the hotel knows and never placed up a warning sign, hired a security guard, or took proper measures to patrol the space and keep it safe. The Hotel director of operations continued to harass us throughout the day to leave although he was in complete understanding of what transpired. Bart's behavior was racist, condescending, and harassing. Even after we packed up our car after having to pay $520 to repair two windows one with attempted gun shots he still attempted to Bar-aid us with our children & elderly mom asking us to leave in front of the hotel lobby and outside. He followed my husband to the car while I was inside with it parked and continued to threaten us. This hotel is beautiful but not worth endangering your life or the headache from the management when something like this happens & their is not any proper measurements taken to protect customers from this harmful environment while on vacation or a quick stay. I will never patron this establishment or New Orleans ever again. Worst place ever and racist to boot. Have mostly minority staff employed, yet they don't treat any of their Minority patrons like they do European guests or Caucasian guests. It's 2022 and one still has to endure this. After such a harrowing experience this has caused both mental strain & health strains to myself and family. The hotel staff Bart was Uber confrontational, and should be fired. Such an unprofessional establishment.

Yelp
Stayed here this past weekend and from top to bottom we loved it. Great location, clean and very nice. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were also both great. Loved our king suite. Trendy decor that was nice. We will 100% stay here again if not every time we come back to visit.

Yelp
Love this hotel! Pros: - Very clean and brand new - Beautiful design - Great customer service - Great food and drinks - Soft slippers - shower gel smells wonderful - easy to walk around - spacious room Cons: - hear bar music from the second floor - tug boats and trains sounds during the evening - wish the restaurant had better hours I would absolutely stay here again, but maybe on a different floor.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this hotel! The staff were so amazing, the room was clean and well decorated. It was exactly how the pictures showed it! The location was probably what we loved most. It was walkable to almost everything including the French Quarter!! And the trolly has a stop right next to the hotel that you can hop on if you don't want to walk. A couple of nights we stayed it was pouring rain so we hung out in the lounge/ bar area and the staff was so sweet! Everyone was so friendly. We would definitely recommend staying here and if we are ever back out there we will always stay at One11!

Yelp
This hotel is absolutely great!!!! Its industrial feel makes you have a feeling of both comfort and sexy. All the staff are professional and very accommodating. This hotel is the best kept secret. Across from the Westin Hotel as well as the mall. In walking distance to Harrah's Casino and Bourbon Street. Yeah Baby!!!!

Alicea L.

Yelp
The lobby and bar area of the hotel is very nice. The room we were in however was very small, the pictures are a little deceptive in my opinion. For our family the room had no space to unpack and unwind and there was no night stand with drawers (one stool table as night for both beds to share). Also, there was no dresser under the tv( small bare tv on the wall. Based on the pictures it seems like there used to be one in the original design of the room and then they removed them for whatever reason. Also, during our stay an alarm went off early in the morning and all the residents had to hurry and leave the building, imagine all the hotel guests on the sidewalk or street in there nightgowns/robes. There was no explanation about what happened or caused the alarm to go off and there was no effort to offer anything for the inconvenience or embarrassment. Also, the pool is extremely small and not worthy visiting, it can only fit maybe about 3 people comfortably

Leslie S.

Yelp
I literally had the cutest most feng shui'd room! The decor throughout the entire hotel is very retro modern and comfortable. Very welcoming. I liked that the lobby was mostly fairly empty, I'm an introvert who is better with less people around. So doing my work at a table in a comfortable environment was relaxing. I liked the snack area with easy add to my room. I think if I had to critique anything, it might've been the acknowledgment was lacking when in the brunch/bar area. Once she did have time for me, she was sweet and the breakfast special was nice light and every item was truly tasty. I really liked the location, ambiance and overall comfort. I really really loved my room! If you like a little privacy and that less crowded feel, you will probably enjoy your stay here at this boutique hotel! No spa, or in room service but I highly recommend Windsor court spa for the most excellent massage and nail service and just a short walk away!

Yelp
This was our first big "outing" after being vaccinated. Five couples traveled together and we stayed here, based on some great reviews one of us read. Big mistake. HUGE! No signage. So it is always difficult for an Uber to find you. No bell help. Maybe Covid related. I don't know. But stairs up to main level are difficult to navigate with bags. Rooms: Ridiculous. Small; could only find 2 outlets for charging; one of the hotel lamps wasn't even plugged in because there was no outlet; our shades did not work...so they were permanently down. Showers didn't get very hot or have a great output. No room service and no where to eat breakfast except on the weekends. The a/c/heating system: only the desk could change the temperature in your room from some hidden place...somewhere. And if you wanted to change it during the night, you had to call down snd ask that it be done. And it was STILL uncomfortable! There were, literally, only 2 tiny tables in the room. Hard to put your "stuff" anywhere. Are you getting the picture? Don't EVER stay here!!!

Yelp
Boutique hotel in the truest sense. Small attentive staff- if you stay more than a few days they will get to know you well. After checking in I realized my room was quite small-- as I planned to stay six days we asked the front desk clerk if they had anything larger. She happily took me upstairs to check out a larger room (just configured differently). I switched rooms and it made my stay more enjoyable. We had an issue splitting a bar/dinner check one evening-- and appreciate the time taken to resolve the issue. Unfortunately the bar is forced to use a computer system which does not allow for splitting checks. Also note due to the small staff in the kitchen and bar it closes at 9pm most nights. Additional items of note: side doors are locked at 9pm (you must use your room key for entry); room key is required for elevator, you must schedule to have your room cleaned (typically before noon); front desk will provide extra bottles of water coffee K cups upon request; due to the nature of the building (old sugar warehouse/factory) sound resonates; I felt safe in the hotel-- directly across from the canal shops.
