10/10 all day. This place is phenomenal. Every dish was just as great as the one before… We had the duck fries, Korean ribs And brussels sprouts, for appetizers… For entrées, we had the Smashburger, chicken, piccata, and the shrimp pesto pasta… Dessert was the sampler which contained the best sticky toffee pudding I’ve ever had, Hot chocolate cheesecake, and the gingerbread Panna cotta… I absolutely cannot wait to go back… Do yourself a huge favor and get the banana Brulé martini you will not regret it

Great vibe at the bar thanks to the fantastic bartenders setting the stage. Big fans of Richie and Maddie! Ordered the fried mozzarella and pork chop. The pork chop was amazing, had bacon crumbles and mashed potatoes. I’ll definitely come back for other items on the menu. The crowning moment was the desserts, that cheesecake is amazing. Just a really fun time, and a great place to socialize.

This is a terrific place to catch a delicious cocktail or glass of wine, snack on their many appetizers, or eat a full meal. The bartenders are outstanding!!! Many nice tables and many bar seats as well. Try one of their specialty drinks. The duck fat fries never disappoint.

The service and atmosphere are great here. Our waiter was attentive and helpful with questions on the menu. We ordered a bunch of appetizers for the table and the Korean BBQ spare ribs were the highlight. The sauce was sweet and sticky. The meat easily pulled away from the bone. The fried mozzarella looked great, but was a little bland. The cheese itself needed just a little more salt. Fried well though. It was gooey when cut into. The other appetizers didn't really stand out. Really appreciated the shoestring fries with the burger. The container was warmed to help preserve the heat on them. It was a nice touch.

Another cool spot found on my 3-day trip to Carlisle! Food was good. Staff friendly. A short walk from the hotel. Prices are fair. Nothing is cheap. We'll worth a stop if in 'tahn!

We had a delicious dinner and fantastic service. We tried a lot of small plates and a couple of in-house cocktails that were all very yummy. They have no business having desserts that are that good. I strongly recommend the lychee martini, Korean barbecue ribs, and the dessert sampler. If you are into bourbons and other spirits, I’ve never seen a list that large. It's a very beautiful atmosphere. All in all, 10 out of 10.

One13 Social in Carlisle, PA was outstanding from start to finish! The food was excellent and the service was truly top notch. I tried the deconstructed Beef Wellington, which was absolutely incredible, perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. My wife had the Salmon, and she couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was. Our server was very polite, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about both the food and drink menu, which made the whole experience even better. 10/10 experience, we can’t wait to go back!

I'm so incredibly jealous of my family who live close to this place. They do indeed have some of the best food I've ever had in my life. It's unfair. They don't specifically take reservations, but the support person was kind enough to let me know I can call ahead of time to let them know about a large party. So that's what we did. They seated around twelve of us, which I always appreciate to see. The server was super nice and handled all of our requests (some members trickled in slowly). Starting off from their drinks to their appetizers, there's just nothing quite like it. The fries were cooked in duck fat. The crab soup had rich chunks and great depth to it. Their broiled broccoli was amazing; had nice little charred bits on them. They were definitely a fan-favorite among the tables. Now onto the main reason I went here, the flank steak. Oh boy. I'd come back here again just to have that steak (I plan on it). The dessert was a delicious pistachio cheesecake. Pretty much all of their food exceeded my expectations. Truly a gem of a restaurant to have in such a quaint area.

well were to start, we usually plan our fridays weeks ahead of time due we enjoy trying new places around the Mechanicsburg, Carlisle, Camp Hill area. Book reervations through various online reservations systems, One13Social states we have a 1 hour call ahead on the day one wants to eat there. The response well you know some people book large parties then cancel last minute so One13social says the one hour call ahead says works for them. well online reservations systems allow parents of students to book ahead, birthdays, holidays, events, date nights. high top, regular table, booth. nope none of that. so when we arrive Friday around 5pm due to traffic. not that busy at the hostess stand. we check in, we make the comment about online reservation system, hostess says works for us, already annoyed by the hostess response. she proceeds to walk us to a table 10 feet from the hostess table, some little 2 top diaganol from the kitchen but the table is against the wall but is where everyone walking into the restaurant comes and go. really. then we ask about the sitting near the bar with high tops. Hostess says those tables are reserved ahead of time. I ask how are those reserved, well those table are for regular customers. then next selection is the table 2 feet from the bathroom. Uh no, then we ask for a booth, hostess says something, booths are technically reserved. yep service right down. Every week I look forward taking my significant other to dinner after a long work week. ok seated. the waitress hands us two menus plus drink menu, in our hands for 10 seconds, before even providing us specials of the day, waitress asks are we ready to order yet? just barely seated. Any ways after ordering drinks, cokd, bloodymary, diet coke and vodka. she goes over the specials, Steak blah, but failed to mention One13social just started a special steak program which means one hasn't quite dialed in the cooking temps of the steak, utensils (good steal knives) , sides. appetizers ordered, Koren BBQ Ribs, mussels, baked oysters, Koren BBQ Ribs and Mussells served, oh baked oysters make take a little while longer. again that is a kitchen timing issue. appetizers were all good, baked oysters of the oysters are small, up the quantity. We ordered 'medium' bright pink through the center and the rest. not even close, edges of steak and outer of steak, burnt ok, middle of steak way past well. eat some sweet potato, Waitress stops by we confirm Medium, she says it's medium, we hold up to light, well to well done. She says well I will take it back to kitchen to cook it more for you? uhm one cannot take a well to well done back to medium. so she picks it the plate with our steak on it, brings it to the manager, who we watch walk by us to the kitchen with our plate. waitress returns and says we will cook you another one without even asking us if we really wanted a new one. 10 minutes later, manager brings new steak, then demands us to immediare cut into it, inner cut, borderline raw/rare, another section, medium well to well, near the bone, rare, the second steak was less cooked not even close to medium. At that point our frustration level was peaking. Manager states well we just stated our steak program last week. no offer to comp our bill saying you know what our cooks at One13 Social goofed on your order, we would like to return again and visit our establishment. the only reason we found out about One13 Social is due to MaryAnn, other than that we are not fans of restaurants in Carlisle due to the places just don't care about food quality or service. bill is dropped off by waitress. really on the edge of not tipping at all. appetizers are good, entree experience fail. service needs improvement, female manager attitude needs adjustment. we know we are just local people who enjoy trying new places, taking food pictures for our Harrisburg/Lancaster Foodie Faceboom group, yelp reviews, google reviews. telling our friends about our experience, etc. if we like an establishment expect at least once a month visit or more, if not and bad post maybe never again

I was traveling for work, and a coworker chose this spot for us. The restaurant had a nice, elegant atmosphere and was surprisingly packed for a weekday. The service was okay, but with a party of eight, I understand that things can get a little hectic. I ordered the jerk chicken wings (not pictured) and fries, while several others got burgers and fries. Unfortunately, our server forgot something from almost everyone's order--including my fries. Overall, this place feels more like a date-night spot, but the food was good.

This is place is top notch!! The service was wonderful. The ambiance was upscale but relaxed. The food was outstanding!! I already recommended it to several people in the area!!

The service was poor. They literally took a party of four that came in after us instead of seating us or the party of two that came in before us. They gave up and left. We had seen sets of two set at a four seat table in the entrance way, so I'm not sure why they didn't do that again. There were multiple 2 seat tables available when we were seated. If you were going to be selective about seating, the ability to make reservations would be better. We counted at least six staff that passed by our dirty dishes after the appetizer. The server never told us her name. I had the pork chop but one side was over done making it tough. My spouse had beef bolognese. It was ok. Nothing special. The ambiance is nice but on the loud side. Overall, we had better food at Applebee's, with a melt in the mouth chicken, the night before for half the cost.

We did some bar hopping in Carlisle, where, being a college town, there are bars and breweries all near one another. Inside, the atmosphere is very clean and leans more toward the fancy side of dining. Toward the back, there's a bar with a TV showing sports. The two bartenders working were absolutely great. Nick, in particular, was wonderful, and I wish him the best of luck. We stayed for a few drinks, but the food coming out looked amazing and was plated with extra care.

This was a great find. Quaint historic area in downtown Carlisle. I was seated right away, and the hostess set me up with water while I waited for the bartender. The tap water wasn't tasty, and the bartender was kind enough to get me a glass of water from the filtered tap. I ordered the salmon with peppercorn sauce. What a beautiful, flakey filet. I don't normally like the skin. However, this was crispy and not fishy at all. The bartender recommended the smashed red potatoes made with garlic. They nicely complimented the tender salmon. If I am in town again, I will eat this dish. Everyone was friendly, and the food was just right.

Stopped in with my husband to see if it lived up to the hype. It did. We were seated in the bar area and the service was excellent. We opted to share four smaller dishes instead of larger entrees. I had heard rave reviews about the fries. $11 for a large bowl of julienned potatoes fried in duck fat and served with two small cups of salsa verde and garlic Parmesan aioli. Easily in the top ten of the best fries I have ever eaten. The salsa verde was excellent and the aioli was amazing. I actually used my finger to make sure I didn't leave any. The fries were perfectly made. Incredibly crispy on the outside with a light interior. Not the tiniest bit greasy. I'd go there just for the fries and a drink. For $16 the spoon bread shrimp was an eclectic combination of flavors that worked together to create an incredibly tasty dish. Shrimp, corn spoonbread with honey butter, pickled peppers, olive tapenade . . . it is salty, sweet, savory, and yummy. I would only make two adjustments. First, it needs two more shrimp to have a perfect combination of bites. Even cutting each shrimp into 3-4 pieces didn't give enough shrimp pieces to have a small piece for each forkful. Second, remove the tails before serving. Tails on shrimp you eat with fingers is fine. But pulling tails off shrimp you need to cut and eat with a fork is messy. The smoked goat bread for $14 was excellent. However, it wasn't all that unique. It's a nice twist on a traditional bruschetta but with an emphasis on red pepper instead of tomato. The bread was good, the garlic confit was very good (I could have easily enjoyed more of the garlic in the dish). I was hoping for a strong smoke flavor but the peppers tasted like roasted peppers, not smoked. I also wanted more vanilla in the balsamic reduction. Our fourth dish was the poached pear salad for $14. They really nailed this one. It's similar to other pear salads I have had. But better. The poached pears were perfect. The balance of ingredients was spot on. Everything blended extremely well. The hands down highlight of the dish is the blue cheese croquettes. Crispy outside creamy inside, and that sharp blue cheese flavor slightly mellowed because of being a croquette. I could eat an entire plate of those round orbs of awesomeness. Hubby had a unique beer. The drink list is interesting and well balanced. There is truly something for everyone from the bar. Like beer? They have PBR for $4 and Chimay for $15. One of the best wine lists I've seen in central PA, they also offer a few different wines by the glass. Their selection of liquor options is also impressive. Two thumbs way way up. I can't wait to go again

A family member recommended this restaurant to me the first day we landed in Carlisle, PA. I love the restaurant atmosphere and all the dishes are tasty! Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks.

I was so excited to go here but the best way to describe it was lackluster. The food looked good but it was lacking flavor. The restaurant was louder than I was hoping for as well and it was not the experience I was anticipating with the type of restaurant that it seemed to expect. We were disappointed. Hopefully the chef learns more about how to infuse flavors.

We have been multiple times and overall have been very satisfied with the experience. I love the renovations to the space. Upscale without being stuffy. One of the nicest places in town but you would fee comfortable with any attire really. Waitstaff have been helpful with questions and management is always friendly. We have enjoyed the food. Sometimes it isn't always consistent and they have removed/changed a few of our favorite dishes but you can't really go wrong with anything. Great small plates and drinks. You can make a meal off of them easily.

The best food in Carlisle. Always a good meal. Service is good, and they have comfortable seats, food always good. My only niggle was there was only on special, an appetizer. The menu has not changed in over a year and could use an update every season.

Hands down, some of the best food I've had recently! They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done the right way. The salmon, flank steak and pork entrees were the three main dishes that we ordered. Must try! From the pear salad to our entrees, this restaurant exceeded all our expectations! Our family of three especially enjoyed sharing a bite of everyone's choices. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was delicious. Highly recommend this quaint restaurant.

WITHOUT A DOUBT, the best cheeseburger I have ever had! This restaurant is so cute in downtown Carlisle! the menu looks amazing but we opted for the cheeseburger-one with homemade chips and one with fries. The cheeseburger was the most tender, tasty, perfectly seasoned, perfectly sized burger EVER! My friend ordered a creme brûlée for dessert and yes, it was the best one ever! A hard sugar top with a most and smooth inside! We are from Northern Virginia and I begged the hostess to open one here! And btw-the hostess was, yes, you guessed it, the most welcoming and charming hostess ever! Our waiter was also wonderful! ! will drive back to Carlisle to eat here!!!! if you live near here, get on over there-you won't be sorry!!!

The food was so delicious as usual. Annie, our waitress, was super. She did a great job with making sure we had what we needed. Great restaurant.

Was looking for a new dining venue - drove past & didn't even know this establishment was here. We stopped in & fortunately there was no wait. Drinks came quickly - nice selection of items to choose from (but not voluminous). I settled in on the Salmon ..which was AWEsome, BTW! We knew we were in for a treat as the plating of our dishes were worthy of an art gallery;) Service was quick and courteous throughout & each bite of our food was well-balanced and full of flavor. Venue was great as well - this was dining more like one would expect in Metro DC. I look forward to a return visit & exploring more items on the menu!

One13 Social is very beautiful inside! We sat at the bar, and both of the bartenders were very nice & attentive. We just just had dessert. The Dessert Sampler was delicious and nice sized portions too!

Finally I made my way to Social. I thoroughly enjoyed Brick (their food, not their opinion on social issues). Social is a fine replacement, and the larger space with a scotch/bourbon bar attached is a nice upgrade. Overall, the ambiance is one of the best in Carlisle, if not the absolute best. The Korean ribs were delicious. The meat fell off the bone and the sauce was savory and quite nice. I also liked the she crab bisque. It had a bold flavor that made my spoon keep revisiting it for more. The fries and the wings were less of a hit. I ordered peppered orange wings but I tasted no pepper and no orange...it was very much a plain fried wings experience. The fries were also just average. They were plentiful but thin and the dipping sauces were not special at all. Overall it was a good experience, but not every food item was a hit.

Very cute spot right on main road. Big place too! I had the soft shell po boy which needed something to make it- maybe remoulade? My husband's polish sandwich was very good and different though. Service was very good..

Great for small plates! We've been here several times and their apps is where it's at. If they have an entree special we'll usually check it out because they're typically great. However, their regular menu entrees are nothing to write home about. The management and staff is phenomenal and the atmosphere is great for either a date night, family dinner or spontaneous eats.

Very consistent regular menu of tasty items from small plates to entrees. The tacos are fantastic, and the fries cooked in duck fat are simply the most delicious ever, anywhere. Service is always prompt and polite, even when sitting at the occasionally very crowded bar, which we tend to do. The main bar is, in fact, our favorite place to hang out, and its high ceiling and many windows give you the feel of roomy comfort even when the room is elbow to elbow. The occasional specials are frequently a treat, especially when steaks are on offer. This is our "go to" hangout in Carlisle and I don't really ever see that changing.

The ambience is perfect. The service is amazing and I only had the hamburger which is seriously good. If you're in Carlisle, stop and eat there. Shirley

They got the ambiance part down but all the food tastes so bland. I am vegan so I got the Buddha bowl and it had no flavor. My sister is not vegan and has tried a few different things and they've all tasted really bland.

Took wife a daughter out for lunch and we all agreed it was exceptional! Wife got Korean Ribs, daughter got Carwood Smash burger and I ordered the Salmon Flautas. Oh, and of course the duck fat fries. We all enjoyed our selections ver much. I even got to meet the chef and she was super charming. The bartender was also really nice and made us some wonderful cocktails to go with our lunch. All in all, a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon. I will be back!

Our favorite restaurant in Carlisle. Whenever we attend a car show, it's first on our list. The food is outstanding and the bar menu and selection is probably the best around. Highly recommended!

We went to One13 Social for dinner with friends tonight and had a great experience. This time I got the Cool as a Cucumber to drink and loved it. I think it is my new favorite! The cucumber made it so light, refreshing and summery. My husband got The Chloe which he said was delicious as always. For dinner we both got the Carwood Smash Burger (no lettuce for me) with fries and our mini chaperone got the kids chicken and fries. The chicken tenders looked so yummy that 3/4 adults sampled it and agreed they were really excellent. Cooked well with great breading. The Carwood Burger was delicious. Well cooked, moist and the copper cheese is always a welcome touch. I recommend upgrading from chips to fries. The fries here are shoestring but not crunchy. Some pro tips: There is a parking lot in back of the building. If you are coming down high and turn onto Hanover going AWAY from the courthouse you'll make a quick left on Dickinson ave. This little alley will take you right back to the parking lot. Much better than dealing with on street parking! They don't take reservations but you can call ahead 30 minutes in advance.

Can't tell you about the food. I called the a two weeks in advance to make a reservation. They won't take reservations. However, Lady who answered the phone told me if we were coming in around 5pm it is still early and we should be able to get right in with little to no wait. My wife and I dressed up the Friday before Valentine's Day and arrived about 5:15pm. I had seen many open table around....but, Hostess told me the wait is 1 hour 15 minutes for a table. I was very upset.... I was told no reservations...I'm seeing open tables but I'm being told about this ridiculously long wait. We decided not to stay and wait. We both didn't eat lunch in preparation for a great Valentine's Dinner with our first visit since it became One 13 Social. What a disappointment. Not sure if I'll try again or not.

We visited one13Social for the first time since they opened. Many people will remember this as Brick in Carlisle! Let's start by saying this is not the Brick but a much needed updated spot in downtown Carlisle. Great place opened up wider more roomier dining areas and updated decor with an added bar! Our Appetizers One13 Fries (GF, Can be V) Duck Fat Fried, Hand Cut Russets, Salsa Verde, Garlic-Parmesan Aioli Confit Chicken Wings (*GF) Korean Barbecue, Orange Pepper* or Jerk Rub*, Sesame Ranch Crema Ours had the Orange Pepper it had a sweet peppery taste the Sesame Ranch was a good accompaniment but they were delicious without. My nephew enjoyed Fried Mozzarella (V) Fresh Mozzarella, Panko Crust, Mafalda Sauce Now for dinner my better half and I ordered their Carwood Smash Burger which had a Roasted Garlic Aioli, Grilled Onions, Lettuce, Tomato, Bacon on a Brioche. Delicious Combo of ingredients My BIL had the Chicken Torte -- 13 Bell & Evans Chicken Thigh, Sautéed Peppers and Onions, Queso Fresco, Charred Elote Aioli, Pico de Gallo, Talking Breads Ciabatta and my sister had the Poached Pear (GF,V) Burgundy Poached Pear, Fried Shallot, Frisee, Stilton, Meyer Lemon-Thyme Vinaigrette! She added Salmon My nephew enjoyed the Kale Caesar (CBG) Baby Kale, Charred Radicchio, Shaved Parmesan, Croutons, House Caesar with chicken! Great Ambiance, Great Service and an Iconic Menu making this a wonderful added restaurant in Carlisle can't wait to do a follow up on One13 Social

Great food and really good service. Came back in town yesterday for a weekend visit and One13 is still the best restaurant in Carlisle. Menu is diverse enough that everyone in the family finds a favourite. Deserts for Dad and Daughter were great, Dads martinis are fabulous. Our Server always goes out of their way to make our 12 year old feel special. Recommend one13 to anyone. Only minor complaints are the crème brulle dessert missed the mark last night. Also the wine list could use some Bordeaux/Beaujolis additions, but that's just our personal tastes.

I ate there for the first time on a cold Saturday evening in Spring 2022. We stayed in the front dining area. We didn't experience any of the back which seemed louder and I assume that is where the bar is. If you want quiet dining, I suggest either an early or very late (1h before closing) meal on busy nights. My partner and I were unable to hear each other until a group of grumpy, tipsy teachers left. It's remarkable how much one group drives up a whole space's overall volume. The food was enjoyable overall. We had the One13 Fries to start. They were OK. Truly nothing special. The sauces added some flavor to what is otherwise pretty droll shoestring french fries. Though they were perfectly crisped. On to the entrées! For the prices, I feel like the presentation was decent. I tried the Argentinian Flank Steak and my partner tried the Salmon Au Poivre. The Steak was an interesting medley of flavors with the root veggies, leeks, and chimichurri. I enjoyed the dish more with a healthy sprinkling of black pepper and a touch of salt. The dish is generally sort of a 'sweet' dish. The portion was of a reasonable size for a meal. Especially if you had sampled some starters. As for the Salmon, I cannot say exactly. It looked delicious and was cooked to perfection based on how it fared under my partner's fork. However, my partner ate the entire portion which is odd for them. Therefore, I must either assume this is the highest form of praise... or hunger -- which is more likely given that we dined at 8:40 pm. The dessert sampler was a great choice as we often want to try everything. The peanut butter mousse-like dish was delicious. The strawberry cheesecake was about what one would expect for that. The chocolate mousse was good. All three were light and not too sweet. A wonderful way to finish off the meal. I had one cocktail during our meal. It came out after the fries. It was the Carlisle Sour. I enjoyed it, it felt like a double to me. (Or perhaps it had been far too long since I had last eaten.)

Amazing appetizer, entree's, deserts and drinks, I was not expecting such great meals and a fair price in this area.

Excellent food. Fantastic service. Interior has a wonderful vibe. Outdoor seating when weather permits. Parking in a lot behind the restaurant. Short drive from 81- worth it if you're seeking good food in a comfortable environment. Nice diversion when you're on the road and need to recharge.

We only sat at the bar in our two visits while in Carlisle but this is a really nice place with a good selection of spirits, wines, and craft beer. Service at the bar was excellent and the atmosphere is quiet enough to carry on a conversation without needing to shout.

Trendy decor and atmosphere. Amazing flavors that blend well together. Loved the Salmon. The beef tacos were excellent and inventive, not your typical tacos. The beet and goat cheese salad was amazing. Absolutely beautiful presentation and thoughtful pairing of flavors and quality ingredients. The desert sampler was heavenly and decadent. We will definitely come back as this may possibly be our new favorite spot.

This place absolutely blew me away. Elevated food without the pretentiousness with a nice mix of gastro pub food and high end entrees at a decent price point. We got seated right away and the waitress was extremely attentive. It's a quiet spot with classy and clean decor mixing modern with old style.

One of the best restaurants in Carlisle. We have enjoyed both lunch and dinner here, as well as the specials featured weekly and daily. Everything is delicious. My favorite is this she crab soup. The ribs are a small plate but so filling. My son enjoyed the filet cooked perfectly. Excellent cocktails. I didn't take pictures because I was too busy eating....

I've been to this restaurant 5 times and unfortunately, the food was just not great. Bland, without much presentation and overpriced. The ambiance was always great and service was personable. The bar was awesome but expect a long wait on weekends.
