I hesitated to post a public review because I strongly believe in giving customer service the opportunity to address my issues, and I understand that operational hiccups can happen. Unfortunately, my experience at Monte Carlo 2 Suite, was never properly addressed despite multiple follow-ups.
After rainfall over the night, staff was outside the unit at around 7:30am to clean and dry the floor, which already disrupted any rest. Shortly after, between 8–9am, the suite beside seem to be hosting a wedding. Large numbers of people were constantly pacing the corridor and gathering outside the room, with loud conversations, celebrations, and noise throughout the morning. Rest was completely impossible. I was not told about the event that would be held in the morning, which would have encouraged me to change my plans in advance. Unfortunately, this made me feel that this 5* hotel prioritises event plannings over other guests.
Additionally, the balcony was heavily infested with mosquitoes, making it unusable and preventing any enjoyment of the outdoor space.
What was more disappointing was the lack of follow-up from customer service. After sharing my experience, I was told the matter would be escalated to the relevant department.
I haven't received any follow-up despite expressing that I would appreciate a clear timeline for resolution.
A timely response and proper resolution from management would have changed my perspective, especially after having my partner's birthday celebration disrupted by these issues.
