Onederz Siem Reap

It's a good hostel but with some problems. The location is great, right in the center and you can easily move around on foot. The staff speaks English with a 24/7 reception. The bar restaurant on the ground floor offers good food at great prices, you will probably end up using it a lot. The pools (three) are spacious and clean, not crowded. Not very easy to socialize. Various activities are offered, both free and paid. Let's move on to the cons now. The rooms are not up to par. The biggest problem is privacy, incomprehensibly the sliding curtains on each bed only cover a third of the total length, so you basically have no privacy. Slightly crowded and chaotic atmosphere on the ground floor, with many people hanging around. Overall a good hostel at an ok price, clean and safe, well attended but with some small structural problems.

First time in my life staying at a dorm hostel!!! I had an amazing stay at this hostel during water festival! the location is fantastic, making it super convenient to explore the nearby areas: old market, riverside, night market, pub street... The staff was incredibly welcoming, well-trained, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The hostel offered a variety of fun activities, making it easy to socialize and meet other travelers. the rooms were clean, and the stay was very comfortable. I also appreciated the small yet thoughtful perks, like the free water at the bar counter and being able to use the lobby restroom and pool before checking in. Overall, it’s a perfect place for a comfortable and friendly stay. I’ll be back again!!!

This place does live up to the hype. Beautiful property, the common areas and pools were well maintained. The service was excellent, there were always several people at the front desk to answer questions or folks at the restaurant to take your order. The private rooms were simple but had everything you needed. They tidied them up daily for you if you put out the door hanger. Overall a great experience.

UNBELIEVABLE! Seriously no words apart from it felt like a luxury hotel experience. A must stay for backpackers! We stayed in a private room which was so nice. The social areas are amazing, especially having two pools. The food is the best we have had at any hostel & most restaurants. Just wow! The sushi & steak were a highlight for us, so affordable but amazing portions. Great stay here, wish we had stayed longer!!!

Let’s start with the good things:- very sociable hostel, friendly receptionists, plenty of activities and various tours at fairly affordable prices. There are also three pools which I didn’t get to use but seem pretty nice. The cafe serves decent food and service is always fast. Room itself and beds are spacious, there’s enough storage space and bars to hang your clothes. Location is right in the centre yet quiet enough for a good night sleep. The bad:- hygiene level is in question …. I have seen three cockroaches now around my bed and in the cabinet 🥶 and the hallways to rooms are stuffy and always smells of shoes and socks ….

I had an amazing stay at Backpacker Hostel! Right from the start, everything about the place felt welcoming and comfortable. One of the highlights was the early morning breakfast they offered for those heading out for sunrise tours—a thoughtful touch that really sets them apart. They also have a fantastic selection of food and beverages throughout the day, with both western and vegan options, so there’s something for everyone! The staff are exceptionally well-trained, friendly, and always willing to help, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I also appreciated their partnerships with local guides and tour companies, which allowed me to join group tours. This not only helped me save money but was a great way to meet new people and share the travel experience. All in all, a 5/5 hostel experience! Big thanks to the management for making my stay unforgettable.

Absolutely loved my stay at Onederz Siem Reap. It's a nice well maintained property located very close to the Pub Street and maintain excellent level of cleanliness and service standards. I stayed in their 4 bedded dorm it was very comfortable and clean. The washrooms were also very very clean all the time. But my bed wasn't cleaned even once in my 4 nights stay, that was disappointing. They have a good restaurant and bar also and keep hosting various events all the time. |I even booked my tours and buses through them those were also very good. I highly recommend Onederz Siem Reap.

Great place to stay, clean and comfortable rooms, very clean common areas too. But above all, amazing staff, kind, with good advice and perfect English. The atmosphere is dynamic and friendly, without being disturbing or preventing rest. Finally, the food in the restaurant is also incredible and affordable.
