Onederz Siem Reap

This place truly exceeded my expectations. It’s incredibly clean, very social, and ideal for solo travellers. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, making it easy to meet people. There are plenty of activities offered every day, which is a great way to explore and connect with others. I joined the floating village tour with a guide named Happy Tear, and he was absolutely amazing. He made everyone feel welcome and created a really fun and engaging experience. The food at the hostel is also fantastic, with a wide variety to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for traditional Cambodian dishes or more familiar Western options, there's something for everyone. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Siem Reap.

Really enjoyed my stay here! The hostel has a pool, cafeteria, and offers tours and transfers around Cambodia. Dorms are comfy with privacy covers, outlets, and lockers. Bathrooms are clean and well-equipped. It’s quiet at night, and they let you store luggage after checkout. Wish I could’ve stayed longer, but it was fully booked!

I stayed here on the recommendation of a friend who did the whole SE Asia backpacking route last year and told me it was the best hostel she stayed in on the trip. So I went in with high expectations but even then I was blown away, was by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in as well. Location is perfect, rooms were clean and there was a nice mix of a very social pool/bar area to the quieter rooftop pool where you could chill out if you needed. What really blew me away though was how upbeat and friendly all of the staff were. It really went beyond the normal friendliness you might see to where every time I walked past reception or the cleaning staff they would honestly put a smile on my face. Even little things like they wrote a note wishing me good luck on my smoothie the day I was leaving. Loved my stay so much that I ended up extending twice and staying for a full week. Highly recommend the countryside cycling tour too which was my favourite day out in almost a month in Cambodia, Dara who took us around was an absolute legend

Onederz Siem Reap was such a wonderful stay during my time in the city. I booked the 6 bed female dorm and loved the separate corridor for lockers and comfy beds. As a solo female traveler, I sometimes get anxious, and as a traveler in general, I often worry about planning enough activities to truly immerse myself in a new culture and city. Onederz was so attentive and checked all the boxes, instantly easing those worries. From the hardworking and kind staff, clean amenities, delicious food, and daily activities—this really is the hostel to be. The location is ideal and within walking distance to great city highlights such as Pub Street and the night market. The activity staff, Na and Chhou, were incredible. Some activities I joined were Street food tour, floating village, and pub crawl. Unlike other party hostels that pressure you to join, Onederz makes activities welcoming, low-pressure, but still very fun and memorable. Even on days when I was tired, I still wanted to join because everything was so enjoyable and they were the best. Thank you, Onederz Siem Reap! 🫶🏼✨

I stayed here for a month back in August during my time as a volunteer at a local English school. My room was well-lit, clean (except for the occasional mosquitoes that somehow made their way into the bathroom), and comfortable. The food quality depended on the day; once the salmon was rather old and stinky (but the issue was kindly taken up by one of the event staff). Otherwise, the amenities like the pools and common areas were outstanding and I felt like I was in a vibrant and modern outdoor-hotel setting. But let me tell you, by far the best part of my experience at Onederz was the staff who were all superbly helpful, professional, personable, and engaging, not to mention also strong in English. I had to stop myself many times from having too long a conversation with the friends I made during their shift! There were also a variety of staff-led tours provided and the tour leaders all helped me get acquainted with Khmer language, cuisine, history, and culture. I give the kindness, hospitality, and friendship of the staff much credit in encouraging me to become an English teacher in Cambodia. So, a big shoutout to Mo, Kanha, Sinath, Sreylen, Samoeun, Karona, Dara, Nita, Chandara, and all the others for welcoming me to Cambodia. You guys are the best!!! 😊

Great location to walk around and go for tours. The beds are comfy and each bed in dorms has its own small shelf which was really useful. It is quiet even though there is a cafe in the lobby. Also the laundry service they offer was really great. Very cheap and the clothes were like brand new. Recommended for solo female travelers.

Favourite hostel in South East Asia. The staff are so lovely, always going above and beyond to make you feel welcome. My sister and I stayed in a 6 bed female dorm & found the beds comfortable, everything was very clean as well. Only complaint would be the curtains which didn't go all the way across but beside that there were no issues. The best thing about this hostel is the daily organised activities. The activities team were amazing as were all the staff. Special shoutout to Pea, Karona, Dara, Ey (& Kimchheng for the cocktail class). If you're in Siem Reap, we highly recommend Onederz ☺️

Stayed in a 4 bed female dorm here, beds are comfy, each bunk has a plug, light and small shelf which is useful. There are two gorgeous pools here one of which is on the rooftop which also has a small bar area! The downstairs bar serves tasty food for a decent price (both local and western!) and has a large drinks menu. There are events here and it is sociable. We also arranged our trip to Angkor wat through the hostel and our onwards transport of which they provided a transfer and the staff were very helpful and happy to help
