I had been a loyal customer of Oneness Boutique since early last year, spending thousands of dollars on their merchandise and great sales. Despite a few past issues, I continued to shop with them because of the value and selection they offered. However, my recent experience during their Black Friday sale has completely changed my view.
Over three days of sales (40%, 50%, and 55% off), I placed three separate orders totaling nearly $3,000 in retail value for five items. While one order arrived pretty quickly, the other two showed no movement for over 10 days. I reached out politely to inquire about an estimated shipping timeline and was met with a vague response asking for patience. I followed up, explaining that 10 days of waiting was an obvious show of patience (again respectfully), and that I was just requesting a bit more clarity. I mean, after paying their ridiculous shipping fees (more than $15 PER ITEM!), I would expect more prompt shipping and delivery.
Instead of addressing my inquiry, Oneness Boutique abruptly canceled both orders without explanation. I received an email claiming, "We've canceled your order as requested," despite never requesting a cancellation. When I reached out for clarification, they stopped responding entirely, except for a delayed email stating there was "no estimated time for delivery."
Adding to the frustration, the canceled items were relisted as in stock shortly afterward, proving this wasn't an inventory issue. It's clear the cancellations were done out of spite, likely because my follow-up email was misconstrued as impatience--even though I remained professional in my communications.
It's a shame that so many of the negative reviews across various platforms ended up being true. I gave them opportunity after opportunity despite those reviews (and my own personal experiences), only to experience firsthand the unprofessionalism and disregard for customers that others had warned about.
They may choose to respond here but understand I have no reason to lie. As I stated, I have overlooked previous issues with this company months and months ago and could’ve reviewed them then. In fact, just to ensure that I wouldn’t receive my packages or any further communications, I waited over a month to write this review.This was just the last straw and I won’t be shopping with them again. I would advise that you refrain also.
