Only You Tattoo

I’ve gotten a walk in piece here before in 2019 from Kylie, and decided to circle back on a random Sunday to add more to my arm. I follow most of the shop artists on IG but there’s one I don’t, and when I told the folks what I wanted off the top of my head and got sent Jake (R)’s way— he exceeded my expectations. I had an unfinished arm piece started in COVID by an artist in another state. Jake managed to work his style in a way that felt cohesive with the existing florals, and I’m VERY excited to keep going to the wrist with Jake. I sat for this in ~2.5 hrs and Jake was super professional and on the ball. Great conversation, cool dude, and a super smooth tattoo experience that’s healed up incredibly easily. Saniderm and normal tattoo aftercare got me from the first photos (leopard skirt) to two weeks later with the gym pic. I keep getting constant compliments on the color vibrancy and shading from strangers! I can’t wait to keep going to the wrist, and I have a piece I want on my other shoulder that I’ll probably get done by someone else here. I always have a smooth experience here no matter who the artist is.

Bo is incredibly talented at what he does! He made the daunting experience of getting my first tattoo into a super enjoyable and comfortable one, and the rest of the staff and clientele here are all super friendly as well. It’s my first but certainly won’t be my last one from Only You!

Danielle, AKA BIG D!! Everything she does / did on my body goes crazy. I enjoy every session we have. So personable. She has covered my whole body so tastefully. I dedicated five years, such a great investment. Great ink is an investment. Love you, D!

Reviewing on behalf of my husband who got tattooed by Bo! The shop had great vibes and my husband won’t shut up about how he was glad they had their own parking. Bo did a great job creating a piece that reflected what my husband was envisioning. They were professional & we had a great experience. All of the artists at Only You seem seasoned and very talented! We are definitely looking forward to get tattooed here again in the future!

Bo was an amazing artist. He got us in for tattoos on a time crunch. His vibe was so chill, kind, and genuine. We loved the cross talk between artists and feeling welcomed by everyone in the shop. He even gave us change for the penny machine! We will 100% get more ink from here and from him when we travel back to town.

Matt was the absolute HOMIE tho! My sister and I came here while in town- got a recommendation to check these guys out, and they did not disappoint. Great quality for a surprisingly good price. Seriously, shout out to Matt!

I love this place! Danielle was recommended to me by a friend back when I was 18 and I refuse now to go anywhere else lol! She always does great work and cares about making sure you like the tattoo. I also like that she considers how a tattoo will age when making recommendations on a design.

I have had nothing but good experiences here so I travel all the way from FL to come to Only You. I’ve been tattooed by Austin Archer and Jake Rodriguez. Both of them are so talented and the two tattoos I got here are incredible quality. Highly recommend this shop!

Jake Rodriguez is the G.O.A.T.. I just got my 2nd tattoo from him. The entire staff is so professional and super friendly! I brought my friend to get her 1st tattoo today, from Jake. He was so patient and kind. I will definitely be back(again)!!

A friend in the area recommended Only You Tattoo and while I really wanted a tattoo while I was in Atlanta, I was a little nervous randomly going to a tattoo shop I've never been to and just getting a tattoo from an artist I never saw their work, but I had faith and sometimes faith really pays off. I stopped by early in my trip to check availability and not surprisingly there wasn't much. The books were booked but they told me that an artist did walks-ins on Saturdays at 3pm and to come in around then. Being super anxious I got there about 2:45pm that day and found out someone else was even more anxious because the appointment was gone. Bummed, because I really had my hopes up I then talked to another artist, Hank who asked me what I was trying to get done. Ironically, he did a lot of sketch designs and I was looking for just that kind of tattoo. He knew the tattoo wouldn't take too long and agreed to take me the next day which happened to be Easter Sunday. Hank was amazing. While I can't say it was completely painless because I don't think any tattoo ever is or will be, overall the complete process was. He drew my design essentially overnight. When I came in the next day he showed it to me, and the thing I love about tattooing and art in general is what I had in my head of what it was going to be like wasn't exactly what he drew, but I loved his vision so I changed nothing but the overall size of the tattoo and we went to work. He gave me great instructions afterwards and it never turned red at all. It looked perfect the entire time. The healing process was amazing. I live in Florida but will absolutely make any trip to see Hank for future tattoos because it's absolutely worth it.

Recommend this spot for anyone looking for ink. Great work, talented artists and free parking. My kind of place.

So I've been wanting to get a lotus tattoo for the longest and wanted to make sure I go to tattoo parlor that excels in color. I literally hopped on yelp and and found this neat little place that's not too close from GSU's campus. I came in for a walk in session and they were very polite I didn't have to wait too long maybe 30-45 minutes I believe. My tattoo artist was Theo and he was super nice and chill. I didn't move that much but I was in a lot of pain and he assured me I was doing great. He got me water at the end as I was a little light headed as this is my second tattoo. (my first one is some tiny writing on my wrist) the tattoo itself is beautiful I'm very impressed and I can't to see it when it heals.

I wanted to showcase my little tat to show they do great jobs, big and small. Me and my friend were walk-ins at 7p and they were able to take us. Quickly showed them what we wanted, filled out the paperwork and waited a couple of minutes before we were called back. I was nervous (fear of needles) and the artist let me talk through my nerves. I was really just stalling but he let me stall. He said he was quick and in the time we talked he could have been done. Takes him less than a minute, he was right. It's a tattoo so it hurt but it was more uncomfortable than anything else. I'm sure getting it on the back of my arm played a part too. He told me about the after care and once he was done, the other artist was done with my friend. I don't remember names but my guy was visiting from another shop and he was super nice and patient with me. The entire session took 10 minutes, including my nervous rambling. Even though I was nervous about the needles, I felt completely comfortable in the shop and with the artist. I'm getting another little script somewhere on me and will definitely be going back here. Being affordable is also a bonus

Hank just gave me my first tattoo. I was completely terrified. Not from the pain, but because I'd come to regret the decision or it wouldn't look the way I wanted and I'd be stuck with it for the rest of my life. I required handholding, lots and lots of handholding. From the moment I got there, Hank, and the man at the friend desk, made me feel comfortable. They patiently answered all of my questions, and were even patient when I asked those same questions two and three times more. "You got me, Hank, right?" "It's going to look good, right, Hank?" Long story short, I was in good hands. Hank left me with straight lines, a great tattoo, and an experience I can look back on and laugh and feel good about. You're a good man, Hank. Thanks.

Went to Only You Tattoo to get my first tat. They were all so welcoming and professional. It might not look like a doctor office but they run it like one lol. I came in as a walk-in and They immediately greeted me and asked me what I wanted. Right away they begin the draft of the tat. The artist that did mine was Kylie. She was very nice and professional. This was my first one and the pain was very much new to me lol.. I was trying my best to keep it together as she talk to me while tattooing me. By her talking to me it kinda helped me get my mind off the pain a little lol... My overall experience was great! If I ever want to get another one done I will definitely go back to Only You Tattoo..

My best friend and I came here a few weeks ago for tattoos; our artist, Jake, was the absolute best. I've had rude tattoo artists in the past/artists who didn't really care how their client felt, but Jake seemed really sweet and checked with us multiple times to be sure that we liked the design. In addition, the place was very clean and everyone wore masks. 10/10.

Great tattooing experience! They're requiring customers to wear masks and I really appreciate their commitment to sanitary measures during this time. Danielle and I chatted during my tattoo (two hours) and she was absolutely incredible! Danielle has super crisp lines and did an amazing job with my full color piece. Prices are super fair and the location is great. Parking is a bit tight but since they aren't allowing many people in the shop, it's fine. Overall, I had a spectacular experience and will definitely be coming back

I had made an agreement with myself at 14-15 years old that if any of my sports teams ever won a championship that I would get that team's logo tattooed on me. I was beginning to think I would die without a tattoo, but the Dawgs finally came through. I booked an appointment with Jake and it could not have gone any better. I was nervous as hell about the pain, the aftercare, etc... but he made the entire experience great. Everyone around the shop was extremely nice and eager to answer any question I had. I couldn't recommend this place any more!

I always do a ton of research on tattoo shops in the local area before I commit to one, and I happened to stumble upon this gem of a place. I was looking for someone to do a specific style (linework, stippling, geometric, that kind of deal), and Jake Wilkes seemed like the perfect match. I went in for a consultation that you can book via phone, and Jake was nice and helpful! Everyone I interacted with there were very cool. :D The shop was extremely clean and well taken care of. It has an open floorplan, so you can see everybody getting their tattoos. :P Jake executed my ideas so beautifully, it was so much better than I imagined. Lines were impeccable! 10/10 would see him again (and I plan to).

I came here spontaneously with my friend to get tattoos (they accept walk-ins!) Everyone was busy at the moment but they managed to squeeze us in and we only waited for no more than five minutes for an opening. Our tattooist was Charles and he is super kind and attentive. He did such a great job, the placement for my tattoo was perfect! They are very clean. I am the type of person to like a place and stick to it, I'll definitely be back.

The place is eclectic near Grant Park. The people are all very friendly but Kylie was superb! A cute southern girl that listened to my vision and then helped me make it a reality. Very clean place and would definitely go back.

I got my first tattoo yesterday, it was a memorial for my late husband. Danielle was amazing, the shop was amazing. Wonderful experience, I would highly recommend this shop and Danielle!

Got here on a whim after brunch down the street. Easy to find since it is on a main road, some parking but not an incredible availability of slots. Waiting area inside is really small but covered in artwork which is awesome. There are also some benches outside. Inside the shop looks really clean and I think it has a cool vibe. I went in and it was pretty steady customer wise but everyone was so friendly. They thought that a customer was going to cancel last minute so they took me right away without an appointment. I chose a cute little lotus for my forearm which was tattooed by Kylie who was super friendly and incredibly talented. Prices are extremely reasonable and I had a great experience.

My daughter just got a tattoo from Theo, and I can't say enough good things about him and about Only You Tattoo. He was extremely patient and worked for some time with my daughter to perfect the drawing of the tattoo to meet her vision. Then he carefully placed the stencil repeatedly until it was in just in the right place. This was her first tattoo and he was so patient with her and put her at ease. She was worried it would hurt but she didn't flinch once, and it was a pretty big tattoo. I believe that was due to his very calm and friendly demeanor. Before choosing Only You Tattoo, we visited numerous shops and it was by far the most professional with a friendly staff and super clean. No one there tries to pressure you into choosing them or into getting the work done immediately. Overall, a stellar shop and top notch artists. We highly recommend Only You Tattoo and Theo.

I got my first tattoo here two years ago and I'm headed back next week! They are all so kind and welcoming and made the entire thing a wonderful experience. I was nervous as it was my first tattoo but Theo worked with me and helped suggest the best placement on my foot for longevity. The whole staff was supportive and chatted with me during the tattoo. I wouldn't go anywhere else and can't wait to get back in to see them soon! I highly suggest this for anyone looking to get a tattoo on Atlanta because my tattoo looks brand new and it's been 2 years!

Super clean place with really nice people. My friend came here to see Hank to get a thin line tattoo and she got exactly what she wanted. There's a sign on the door that says to make sure the sketch looks how you want it and Hank was super patient about changing my friend's sketch when she wasn't really sure. The tattoo came out great and she would highly recommend Hank!!

I stopped by this place due to the 5 star score. It was a Saturday around 12:30 and they had just opened at 12. I went asking about a consult of an idea I had and they were super nice about it. The guy at the front desk said I could come back around 6:30 that night and get it done and it would be no more than $120, perfect. That's my budget. I hated to drive back to cobb county and then back downtown but oh well. I made it to the aquarium to get on 75 north and they called and said they had a cancelation. I could come now! I trucked it back over and worked with Charles. He was super cool and took his time with my design. He didn't get upset when I asked him to re do the drawing and then decided on his first design. He did the tattoo so fast, about 20 mins and gave me several chances to look at it before he started on it. He asked me if I was ok several times during even though I was pretty quiet. Afterwards, he wrapped me up and gave me specific care instructions. He thanked me, I paid $100 not including tip and I was out the door. I am sooooo happy I came here.

this shop has some of the nicest people ever in the tattoos industry I had Charles for a walk in session. He was extremely polite and drew a tattoo for me, warned me about all the things that could possibly go wrong with hand tattoos and helped me make an informed decision on the placement. Really enjoyed my experience here I recommend this place to all my friends!

I had a fantastic experience at Only You. About a year ago I got that "tattoo itch" and set up a consultation with Matt, whose work I had perused on Instagram and thought would be the best fit to design a tattoo for me. I consulted with him in January 2016 and told him about my idea for a peacock tattoo on my upper back. I took my ideas and left them with him and came back a few weeks later for my first session. After a few tweaks, he was reving up the needles and we were underway. The piece ended up being more extensive than we both thought, so it took about 9 hours and 3 sessions to complete. I am still so thrilled with the artwork and am proud to wear my tattoo by Matt!

This review is long overdue, but Only You Tattoo did an amazing job with a cover-up on a back-piece. Specifically, Theo took me as a walk-in and worked with me to find something that looked better than expected. The price was more than fair; due to it being a cover-up, I did take him on his touch-up offer after a couple weeks. The quality and level of skill in this shop is amazing. If you're considering getting some new ink, definitely consider this shop - you won't be disappointed!

Came here last year to get a large Morrissey tattoo (and a couple other small things) done by Danielle. She listened to what I wanted and I got even more than I could have imagined. I had to book a few weeks in advance, but it was completely worth it. When I arrived for my appointment, The Smiths were playing in anticipation of my arrival. You can't ask for more than that :)

My husband and I have come to Only You on several occasions and we always see Charles. He's so fun and easygoing and he does beautiful work. The colors are vibrant and his style is lovely. His laid back manner really helps to relax the situation and it's easy to forget you're being tattooed when he's the one doing it. His work lasts, too, which obviously is a big plus since it's also reasonably priced. We'll be headed back soon and for years to come.

I first came here to get some cover up work done. It was quite a job and it turned out amazing! I was so happy with it, I immediately knew I'd get Danielle to do my next tattoo. Couldn't be happier with the next tattoo she did, either. I'll be back soon! Good vibe, good conversation.

One of my favorite shops in Atlanta. I've been lucky to have been tattooed by Danielle a few times and I've always been BEYOND pleased with the results. Not only in the professionalism given, but the ability to work with the artist and come to an end result that meets and exceeds what was imagined going into the process. Danielle's love for the artistry and integrity of tattooing show greatly through everything that she does. Having been to many tattoo shops across the US, I always felt welcome at Only You, as I found that all of it's artists and staff are down to earth, friendly, enjoyable to spend time amongst and free from the stigma that comes with a lot of shops and /or artists within the industry. Artists like Matt Greenhalgh and Charles Chatov, who are not only masters at their craft, but genuinely just great people along with Danielle make OYT one of the things I miss the most about Atlanta. I always look forward to getting another trip back and getting the opportunity to get worked on by any of the amazing artists at this shop.

After a horrible experience visiting another local tattoo shop, I stopped in Only You Tattoo and immediately knew this was where I would be getting my tattoo. I was greeted by Theo, who ended up being my artist. I can't say enough about his customer service and abilities! He was kind, heard what I wanted and developed a few sketches until he nailed it on the head. The tattoo itself was painless (for me, at least) and Theo's work was, and IS gorgeous! I recommend OYT (everybody was awesome) and especially Theo!

This place is IT! Such amazing staff and tattoo artist. I came with a group of friends and we were able to make appointments in advance -- the artists and staff are super patient and will make sure you are comfortable. Affordable and clean!!!!! I would totally recommend this place especially if it's your first tattoo. We had Theo and Hank as our artists - amazing job. Oh and they have a dog there (Medusa) which is a bonus!

Having been tattooed by Danielle a few times now I am always impressed by the professionalism and cleanliness that comes from this shop. This is a custom shop which is what makes it great. Overall I like the feel of the shop and the location is a little better than the previous spot. There is a solid team in place here and they are always there to work with you. Every time I come back to visit this place is always on my list!

My Husband and I come down from NY to get tattooed by Danielle. We try to come down as often as possible. Her work is just amazing. We were just at the new shop in May and it looks fantastic. I like the more intimate feel of the new shop, just you and your artist in one station. For me, sometimes getting tattooed can be a little intimidating, but Danielle is so welcoming you instantly relax. You can bounce ideas off of her, and she'll run with it creating a design 10X better than what you had in your head. Beyond the design she'll work with you on placement. Being a lady I sometimes forget how important placement is for us. We have curves and our bodies change over time, she works with your body to make the piece part of you. This time around my Husband was the one who got tattooed. Danielle had did some pieces on him that she finished up, and then he added some little pieces to fill in some gaps. We drove down from NY and our first stop before heading to where we were staying was to Only You. Hanging out with Danielle talking about life since last we saw her, while the hubby got a pain stain was a perfect way to start our ATL stay. Now i'll just end this review by saying this. I've collected a few tattoos over the years, and of the ones my mother ( who is not a fan of tattoos in general) has seen Danielle's is by far her favorite. I believe she said "mmmm (here marge Simpson's disproving mmm) It's really very nice..... but I still don't want you getting tattooed". If that's not an endorsement I don't know what is.

Danielle is a true gem. It might take several weeks to get an appointment, but it's well worth the wait. Not only is she extremely talented, she has a calm and welcoming spirit. I've gone to her twice and enjoyed the conversation each time. Each time, the work has exceeded my expectations. I'm a brown-skinned girl and she was able to include colors that pop with my complexion and a design that is clearly visible from a distance. She takes pride in her work and doesn't stop until the design is meticulous. I've received several compliments. The girl has skills! The shop is clean and the artists all seem to be very talented. I can't speak highly enough about this shop. Do yourself a favor and check them out. You will not be disappointed.

Good artists, dope shop, parking sucks but overall one of my favorite places for ink therapy. I got a 1/2 sleeve done here and have received compliments on all my ink. One of the best shops in atlanta and totally worth checking out. Extremely professional and clean.

For a tattoo shop, Only You runs their place as professional as a doctor's office. From how they treat their customers and listen to their ideas to the appointment reminder phone calls. The place has a comfortable rustic feel but is ultra clean. They treat all their clients with respect and kindness. I've had two large pieces done by Matt on my forearms. The first piece was based off a drawing my wife did. The second was one I had given Matt some ideas of what I wanted and left to him to come up with the design from scratch. In both instances, he far exceeded my expectations. He listened to my ideas and expounded on them in ways I wouldn't have thought of. His suggestions on colors was fantastic. He is a truly gifted artist whose years of practices shines in his work. I also appreciated that he was just as excited about doing the designs and the results as I was. You really can tell that this is his passion. I highly recommend them, especially Matt.

I have loved everything about Only You Tattoo since the first day I visited the shop. I went in February to be with a friend as she got her first tattoo. I loved the atmosphere, decor, vibe, customer service and the general ambiance of the place. And probably most importantly the artists are so very skilled in their craft. Matt helped me design my tattoo by offering great ideas & suggestions. I went to Danielle for a memorial tat of my cat. I'd emailed a photo & design ideas and she created a masterpiece. All of these tattoos are so beautiful - they are so much more than I'd imagined. Walk-ins are welcomed but an opening is not guaranteed. I'd make an appointment ahead of time. I recommend this place!

Danielle, what a find! My wife and I have been kicking around tattoos for years. We're both artists and have always gotten close to committing only to hate what we'd come up with and start over. The time had come for us to both bite the bullet, so we decided to do it together. I spent months asking friends, researching, and reading reviews to find the right shop in Atlanta for us both. When I came across Danielle's work, I knew we'd found our artist. The shop is very cool, they just moved into the new location in January. I've been in a lot of tattoo shops over the years with friends, all over the country, and this is by far the cleanest and most organized one I've ever seen. Booking an appointment was very easy and we were lucky that Danielle just had an opening come up three weeks from when we stopped by to book. A simple and small deposit and we were all set. They called to confirm the day before and were very courteous on the phone as well. When we arrived, the process was quick and Danielle was ready to go not too long after, so far, so good. Everything was explained to us and we didn't feel rushed at all. First, the tattoos and results. My wife and I both are beyond thrilled with the work. The detail, the cleanliness, and the accuracy blew us both away. As a designer who is extremely meticulous about lines, edges, and depth, I never in a million years expected a tattoo to get this close to the page. Danielle has the steadiest hand I've ever seen. People cannot get over how tight the edging and color is. My wife had Danielle create one piece on the fly, more like a painting than deep lines, and it looks like it's leaping off her skin. It is beyond beautiful and Danielle just nailed it. Danielle, the artist, is so great to work with. Of course you can't expect a tattoo artist to be all sweet and sugary, what would be the fun in that. But kind, courteous, patient, informative, and supportive are the words that come to mind. My wife struggled on several false starts with tattoos with feeling intimidated and judged because she didn't have full sleeves from birth I suppose. Not with Danielle, she treated us just like anyone else and we could tell it was genuine. We went back and forth on placement, minor adjustments, and reworking the art and every time she was patient and collaborative. She gave us just the right balance of advice but not telling us what to do. Overall we spent four hours with her and it flew by. You can just tell that she loves what she does, it shows in her work and her attitude. I just can't say enough about how great she is to work with. Overall, if there is a better tattoo shop in Atlanta then they must be handing out money or unicorns, because that's about all I could ask for on top of this experience. From end to end it was fantastic and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. It's also a bonus that the location is great, right off Memorial next to Ria's Bluebird and Tin Lizzy's, along with a growler bar, so if you've got to hang around for a while it's a great place to be; not some seedy dive down an alley. If I could give these guys 6 stars I would, just beyond pleased. Highest recommendation I can give.

My tattoo artist was Sean and he was soooooooo AMAZING!!! I love that I was able to meet with him and set up an appointment for my tattoo. I emailed him the type of design I was "trying to figure out" and he was able to capture it in his own creative way and I LOVED the design he drew for my thigh tattoo. He was prompt, very professional, and overrall a great artist! I'm overjoyed with my tattoo and look forward to coming back again.

Danielle is amazing. Any tattoo I've had the privilege of getting from her has been such an enjoyable experience. I appreciate that she always uses placement of a tattoo to compliment the shape of that whatever area she is tattooing. The new shop is beautiful, clean, and very professional.

I'll never go back...my first tatt experience was here and I made an apt and they were an hour late! Charged $80 for a SMALL tattoo and the minimum was $60 which is what the tatt was worth...look at other options before visiting here

This is a really good shop; clean and friendly. Danielle is a great artist. She easily understood what I wanted and with great vision, she created an amazing piece. I am very impressed by her work I look forward to working with her again. I recommend Only You Tattoo without reservation.

My sister and i went to Sean for matching tattoos and the whole experience was fantastic. Booking at the shop was super easy, the whole shop was clean, and everyone was really nice. Sean did a great tattoo with super clean line work and was able to use vegan ink to boot! I would definitely go back here for any future work!

Been tattooed by Jake twice, already planning for him to do my next one. I honestly can't recommend this place enough, so a five star review will have to do (unintentional rhyme). Jake has also done 3 of my boyfriend's tattoos, all of them mandalas. Although he's exceptionally talented at tattooing in general, I would have to say mandalas are his specialty. All of the other artists are very talented, as well. I've recommended Only You to multiple people, and they have all had great experiences from every artist. Overall, the place is super laid back, clean, and basically everything you could possibly want a tattoo shop to be.

I know this shop has a lot of fans, so this review may be an anomaly of an experience. I came here to get a tattoo by one of the artists. I went in for a consult and the artist was excited about my idea. When I went in for the actual appointment, I showed up early so I could check out the design beforehand. They weren't there so I waited...and then my appointment time came...and then 25 more minutes passed. I was there a total of almost 45 minutes at that point, and while I was waiting I saw another artist at the shop give someone a consultation and basically give him a hard time about the design, saying it needed to be blown up bigger etc and told the customer to think it over. After the customer left, the artist made fun of him and what he wanted to get done, and told the reception guy that he said to blow the size up so he could get more money from him. Then they both laughed. After sitting there and seeing that on top of wondering if my appointment had been forgotten about, I was pretty much over it and kind of pissed off. I told them I had to leave since it seemed the artist wasn't showing up. Truthfully, the unprofessional manner in which the other customer was treated right in front of me and how my own time was treated put me off from coming back to this shop. The artists here are very talented and great at the work they do, but this experience was enough to send me somewhere else.
