Compact posh room, very nicely designed. Elegant bathroom. Comfortable bed. Huge screen modern TV. Tiny table (hard to do laptop work on it for too long). In the room (902), the Internet was slow (<10Mbps). The conference room was small and under renovation, so I couldn't access it. No breakfast area. The front desk graciously held packages for me, but security was lax - one package was left on the counter and anyone could've taken it. The area is Boston downtown - not much to do, or places to eat.

The restaurant and bar are under renovations! This would have been helpful to know before our stay. Hilton’s website had beautiful pictures of the bar and food, also our reservation included a daily food credit. What a joke! The portable air conditioned lobby offers 2 chairs and bottled water, soda and a few snack for sale. No self serve water or coffee. It’s too bad the room focuses on design not functionality. It offered NO COFFEE POT and a tiny fridge packed with water to purchase. The desk barely held my laptop. It did offer branded wallpaper and pillow, plus bathroom lights that turned on with an app. On our second day when we asked for our room to be cleaned we were informed that we should have asked the night before. Curio, this is not. Hilton should be ashamed of misrepresenting this property.

Rooms were nicely decorated and quiet. The lobby was small but staff were friendly. The elevator was dirty and not well maintained. Location was great. Located in the west end, there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

It was odd. It was quiet but appeared almost empty. No coffee maker in the room. No iron or ironing board in the room. Front desk staff was barely neutral if not mildly uncomfortable. I picked it for its location walking distance to many things but definitely wouldn’t choose to stay there again.

Great location. Just stayed there in June. Be aware: due to construction, there will be no breakfast or a bar. Unfortunately they don't me tion this on their web page or during booking. Staff won't even give you breakfast recommendations. I will not stay there again until construction is finished. And since they won't tell you automatically, you will have to ask!

I don’t think I have been to a hotel that differentiated from their website as much as this one. As it is a “Hilton” property, I expected a certain standard I am used to and this was not it. |It was clean so I will give it that, but the pillows were so old they were completely flat and just not comfortable. The bathroom lighting was also not good. They also only clean upon request. Again, not my typical Hilton experience. ||There was not a steamer nor an iron or ironing board in the room which I did not realize until I went to look for one to iron my clothing for work in the morning. Also there was not a coffee maker in the room. It was advertised as having a bar/restaurant and that was not the case; fortunately I was able to switch my honors from food and bev credit to points after the fact. Digital key is not available. ||They have the holders for toiletries in the shower, but without them. Instead, they have bottles of what they are saying is Beekman yet one of bottles had a label covering the bottle of shower gel stating it was shampoo and the hand soap (again used to a pump and not a bar) was a tiny bar of dial in a generic package. |While the rooms were clean, the corridors were old with dirty carpets and a weird odor and old elevators. This hotel felt like a really bad franchise that isn’t worthy of the Hilton name.

The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly. The hotel itself needs to be closed until they finish construction! Please be aware that the pictures online are not true representation of how the hotel looks. The pictures are extremely misleading. During our stay the fire alarm went off and we unfortunately were not able to evacuate due to flooding in the stairwell. Luckily there wasn’t a real emergency but this hotel needs to be closed until the construction is finished. This hotel does not meet Hilton’s standards at all.

I selected this hotel for my family from 3 Hilton properties in Boston-the Canopy, Hampton/Homewood Seaport and Onyx. I selected the Onyx because the photos looked great and it’s a Curio hotel. Beware-there is no lobby. Those beautiful pictures of the lobby are just that-pictures. The lobby renovation is not completed. Instead, the lobby looks like the valet/baggage desk and is 1/3 the size of our hotel room. There are 0 amenities to this hotel. This is not in line with the Curio brand and the Hilton website/app is very misleading at best and duplicitous at worst.
