lovely place with a really cool menu and accommodating staff/baristas. a bit pricey but the people more than make up for it. we ordered an ethiopian espresso with lime notes and truth to be told it was almost undrinkable, it was so sour. we asked the waiter for some cream and/or sugar, and he said he‘d bring the barista over and soon enough, the barista was there and we could talk about the espresso. we explained what about the coffee wasn’t sitting right with us and he was kind enough to take the espressos and make a new drink for us with a different, more fruity ethiopian blend with milk so that it would taste „like a fruit yogurt“. and that it did! i’ve never had a coffee before that tasted like blueberries! to find a cafe that serves ethiopian coffee is pretty rare and to find one that transforms the beans into something almost entirely new is is even rarer. even though it took one try to find the perfect drink the staff/barista were very accommodating and i’m grateful for that. they also have a great matcha latte, not just coffee

This place is the cutest! Definitely reserve ahead. It has outdoor and indoor seating. Has a whole another section in the back. Very cool art and nice atmosphere. The staff is super nice and friendly, also super attentive. Will definitely be back!

Such a cute place for a weekend breakfast to chill, relax and enjoy your breakfast. The staff was very nice with good english communication and helped us get a table very quickly. Would definitely go again to check out their dinner and wine selection🍷

The wine was amazing and the staff was lovely but I must be honest about the food, it was not so special. I didn’t like the jelly carrots and zucchini it was tasteless and the egg with cheese and ‘agretti’ just too basic for the price. I recommend a place like this for a good glass of wine and a relaxing afternoon with your friends.

Best Lambrusco I’ve ever tasted and what a Grappa. Lorenzo treated us with immense care, his wine knowledge is impressive and you should trust any suggestion he makes. Top notch service and wine selection!

On my Sunday brunch around 11:30 in the morning, after I had booked for a table in this overcrowded tiny little place, I was unpleasantly surprised for how long I have to wait for a basic ass toast with scrambled eggs on top. Also how can I wait 20 minutes for my cappuccino to arrive? Unbelievable! But the cherry on top of the cake was when I asked for Tabasco to put on my scrambled eggs and the waiter was more confused than ever and judged to his colleagues and in front of my face that I was putting Tabasco on my eggs! Where are we living in? I guess in a “modern” Italian city that doesn’t put Tabasco on their eggs. Disgusting. Speechless. No desire to comeback! Disappointing. Thank you for making me question my taste level on a Sunday morning. (Picture reference of how basic this looked)

I have to say, if I could give Onest Cafe more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Our brunch experience there was nothing short of fantastic. We decided to try the Pane E Uova con Pancetta and Uovo Fritto con Verdure di Stagione, and let me tell you, the bread was unbelievably fresh and had a texture that was just like a piece of heaven! Each ingredient in our dishes was of top-notch quality, and it truly elevated the flavors to another level. But it wasn't just the food that impressed us – the staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and polite, which made the overall experience even more amazing. And can we talk about the interior design? From the cozy small backyard to every little detail and element used to give character to the place, the vibe was absolutely magical. After our meal, I couldn't resist stepping outside to soak up the sun while enjoying my coffee and diving into my book. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful dining experience. Thank you, Onest Cafe, for exceeding our expectations! You're truly amazing!
