Friday Brunch aside, Opal offers an ever-changing menu influenced by Mediterranean cuisine, regaling its guest with a sophisticated and abundant variety of canapés on the house while the guests' orders are being prepared. The menu is simple, fresh, flavorful, and the bistro-style space for the gourmet pizza station adds a traditional, yet sophisticated, flare to the place. Opal has turned hamburgers into works of art with classics such as the Opal Wagyu burger, which has become Opal's signature. To accompany the menu, Opal offers an impressive Sommelier's selection, one of the largest collections in Doha."

Had an absolutely brilliant experience here today. We've been here before for brunch, and it was just as good then, but today was beyond wonderful. We came here for a Valentine's Day business lunch and were not disappointed. The menu, service and atmosphere was fantastic. When we arrived, we had chosen a table that had previously been reserved by someone else. As an amazingly kind gesture for asking us to move, Mohy, the manager, got us each a glass of white wine to go with our meal. We were already blown away by that, but then the food exceeded expectations as well. Their Maki lunch was delicious and full of flavour. In addition, the patio, which we've never been to before, was beautiful and it was the perfect setting for a romantic and quiet meal. Thank you so much for such a wonderful Valentine's Day and we will definitely return, purely based on the incredible service received! :)

The waitstaff were very accommodating as my party was estimated to be between 4 and 20 people. As more people arrived, they provided additional seating arrangements. They were very attentive and made sure our glasses were constantly filled. The food was great. I have had/made better beef wellington, but the sides were excellent.

Visited this place expecting a mindblowing experience. We ordered the Wagyu Burger, Beef Tenderloin Rossini and of course the well renowned Traditional Wellington. Burger was just fine. Side dishes (Honey carrots - Mashed potatoes) were flavorful and up to standards. Beef tenderloin had an amazing truffle on top, but the serving temperature was not hot enough for a tenderloin. Here comes the much anticipated Wellington that most of us drooled just by seeing it prepared on YouTube. Turned out to be below average. The pastry felt frozen, not fresh. The meat inside had an awful aftertaste. I came here expecting very high gordon standards, walked out with a disappointment. Staff should be more informative.

I went for a launch on 31 Dec, couple of items from the menu were not avaliable which was strainge. However, the wagyu cheeks, creamy mash potato and sticky toffe pudding were great. Atmosphere is nice as well. Ribeye and mac and cheese were ok.

We came on Tuesday unlimited sushi night...well, service was extremely slow, no communication between servers, and the last but not the least, they made 4 glasses of wine in the bill, but I had only one + they add coffee which supposed to be included in sushi package, it was mentioned. When we asked to change the bill they brought the same🙈🙈🙈🙈 so we asked again and finally...really, no respect. Of course we will not come again

Weekend brunch is not a buffet. They have set menus for food and drink, one would get all the items in the menu any number of times. The number of items are pretty good. Some of the dishes were really excellent both in presentation and especially in taste. Freshly prepared. Vegetarians be prepared for a disappointment, not many choices here. The service was very good and staff were very professional and welcoming. However, the alcoholic drinks took a little while to be served. The seating indoors is small and crowded. There is facility for outdoor seating but not suitable for the summer months. Access to disabled parking and wheel chair and public toilets. The hotel building itself is very well maintained and the landscaping around the hotel is amazing with some impressive metal animal structures worth a photograph. The pool and the surrounding area is very well groomed and maintained.
