We got the braised beef noodle soup + stir fried beef noodles. Was just a quick takeout meal but was really good!

Not so magic. It’s ok. Noodles were kind of soggy. I ordered the wide noodles. Broth is on the little side if you prefer that. Overall broth is good but the noodles were not as bouncy as other places. Atmosphere is crowded and seems to like a lot of families come here. Maybe because of the space but it gets loud. Not a fancy place. More like a fast food noodle sit in place. Lines can seem to be long too. Maybe a good sign of quality and taste or decent food for decent price at a decent pace to get in, eat, and get out. Not coming back as there are better noodle restaurants with better atmosphere. I saw business dressed couple here, which was odd. Maybe they heard good things about this place. But definitely don’t bring your date here.

Google
Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! We entered the store and was immediately hit with a delicious smell. We only went to order some take out and was still impressed by the food. The smoke duck is a must try! The meat was tender and soft and very smoky flavor. The apps was also very good. I will definitely go back to try more food!

If you’re looking for a quick noodle fix, Magic Noodle might be the spot. We were pleasantly surprised by the affordable hand pulled noodle offerings here at this popular uptown joint. The menu even includes all-day breakfast. The most popular dish is the Magic Beef, which really is just typical Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles. We made sure to add free extra noodles. Broth is clean and comes with pickled radish, scallions and tender beef slices albeit small thin pieces. We were more satisfied with the Tomato Beef and Pot Belly noodle soups that were more hearty. Pick the noodle styles from silk string to thick ribbon noodles. They also have knife shaved Daoxiao noodles. It’s a busy location but the noodles come streaming out of the kitchen where you can watch the staff make the noodles and prep the ingredients. Staff also do a good job of keeping the place clean & serving families.

I’m so glad we stumbled into this place. After a huge day trip to Viagra Falls, we were absolutely starving at 11:30pm. After a quick Google search, we decided to embark on our culinary experience. Everything from the Galbi ribs and popcorn chicken to the magic noodles and pot belly noodles were phenomenal! The noodle choices are countless and the soup bases are well bodied but not over-flavoured. Above all, the two male staff members were friendly and helpful. Nut allergy-friendly options!

Can’t beat the price2performance here. Noodles are good, sides and apps are good and beer prices are great as well. 24 hours to boot! Better than getting hosed at overpriced izakaya and ramen places.

Do NOT recommend if you have kids with food selectivity, tell them to suck it up and starve. — Updated review to 2 stars. Service is trash, god forbid you have a child with food selectively. Might as well let your kids go hungry with how the wait staff treats you for bringing in the only food your child accepts never mind all the adults are already ordering from the restaurant. Too bad the food came out by the time this interaction occurred or we would’ve just left. I think the food was good but with the horrible experience, I couldn’t really tell. Hence the two stars. — 24 hours is nice, yummy noodles and we really enjoyed the spicy cucumbers.

Google
Love how fresh and delicious their noodles are! Got a little bit of everything on the menu from appetizers to the main dishes. You can customize the type of noodles you want for each of their noodle dishes!

Google
Good noodles for a decent price. The portion is on the smaller size (both noodles and appetizers) in my opinion.

Yelp
24/7 hand pulled noodle restaurant! One of my favourite spots in Richmondhill for late night eats. Service is great, and food comes out quick as well! I came with the family after road trip at 10:30pm on a Saturday night and the restaurant was full! We ordered the: The magic - hand pulled noodles in beef broth with beef shank slices, slow-braised herbal lamb chop, crunchy beef tripe, and fried egg Triple B - hand pulled noodles in beef broth with slow cooked beef brisket Magic chicken - hand pulled ribbon noodles with chicken stock and deep fried marinated chicken thigh The only downside is that the soup can be on the saltier side, but it's not a dealbreaker. Overall, Magic Noodle offers a satisfying meal and is a reliable choice when you're craving a good bowl of noodles at any hour. Overall a nice place with a friendly vibe, reminds me of the restaurants in Asia that are open late with great pricing too

Yelp
We were looking for food at 11pm and stumbled upon Magic Noodle - open 24 hours! What I ordered; * 106 - Magic Chicken $13.99 - (7/10) I got mine with ribbon noodles, they were just a bit too thick for my personal taste. I think I would've enjoyed it even more if I got a thinner noodle. I also would've liked a bit more than two bok choy leaves haha, but otherwise, yummy, soup broth, and good value overall. You order directly in the app after you scan the QR code on the table or you can order with a server. Servers and efficient and quick to bring out the food. Lots of tables inside, we didn't have to wait for a table. There's a steady flow of customers even late at night. Lots of parking in the plaza as well. We'll probably come back again

Yelp
I ordered late night Uber Eats here and it arrived super quick. The magic soup noodle was good and hit the spot. I ordered extra noodle and it was enough for two to have a quick snack before bed. I also ordered the liangpi but that was awful. It seems like it's been sitting in the fridge for days. The noodles were hard, stale and not silky like it's supposed be.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a go to spot for my friends and I as they open late and there's usually no wait time and there's lots of seating. I especially appreciate the speedy staff here. The braised beef noodle is our favorite main, as well as the fried tofu and popcorn chicken as appetizers- can't go wrong with that combo! The beef is tender and well seasoned with a little numbing spice, which is so delicious. I would highly recommend it for its consistent quality and great price point!

Yelp
Had the wider noodles, which I found to be a little thick. Got the Smoky Duck noodles which had little flavour. It was a decent cost for what was given.

Yelp
Average food, good service, pleasant ambiance. The Wonton Noodle Soup were very poor, the noodles were not cooked al dente enough, and were oily. The Magic Wonton was light and simple. The hot soy milk was refreshing.

Yelp
Magic Noodles is the perfect spot for late-night cravings--or really any time of day! The place is always spotless, and the staff are fantastic. There's a worker there (I wish I remembered her name!) who is incredibly kind and treats everyone like a friend. The portions are generous, and the prices are unbeatable. I highly recommend the Triple B and the Tofu Manchu--seriously, you have to try the Tofu Manchu. A must-visit spot for great food and an even better vibe!
google avatar

Yelp
The noodles are made fresh. I got the wonton noodle soup with hand sliced noodles. Some of the noodles were thicker than others and didn't cook all the way through. The broth was a little bland, but was flavourful with a little help of chili oil. They provide a paper menu but you have to order on your phone. The dishes/customizations didn't correspond perfectly on the phone which made ordering a little harder. Casual cozy dining spot

Yelp
Came here for a late night meal since it was one of only things opened at 10:30 PM in the area. I sat down with a friend and the whole experience left me with such a foul taste in my mouth that I will never go to another Magic Noodle ever again. The overall flow to order was pretty standard but beware since they try to trick you to pay immediate through their QR code when there was a hidden checkout option after the meal. I even asked the waitress if I could order through them but she just pointed at the QR code. Their order flow forced me to pay before an order was submitted so that wasn't great but it is what it is. I then was approached by their older female manager mentioning that they had a deal when I spent a certain amount on food. I had around $50 before tax and was eligible for a $40 range item. I saw that they had a popcorn chicken option and since I already ordered it as part of my original order I kindly asked for a refund of the total price for the popcorn chicken so it evens out. Trying to be nice and courteous the whole interaction. This older female manager was nice at first trying to get us to take an item instead of a refund but grew more and more restless as the amount of food we had was more than enough. She tried to use excuses and act as if she didn't understand what we were saying when she actually did. She also tried to lie and said that we were only eligible if we paid the full cost which was untrue. A bit of back and forth led her to being in a younger waiter who knew English to try and explain to us the situation. This point, even the waiter thought we were correct and was apologetic.. us understanding it wasn't his fault. The interaction led to the older female manager ignoring us and going to the kitchen area the rest of our meal, hoping to ignore us so that the problem goes away or we forget. I called over the male waiter for an update and he was surprised to see she didn't say anything after the fact and that we were pretty much stuck with either nothing or taking their bully offer. The food was quite poor as well, we ordered Dan Dan Noodles, Chinese Burgers, Skewers, Popcorn Chicken and the later added Deep Fried Scallops. Every thing was either too salty or just lacked inspiration.. also understanding it's a fast food noodle store but seeing soup in my Dan Dan Noodle is kindof sad. Overall, if she had nicely explained to us that it was an ultimatum or provided better customer service instead of running away and hiding.. it might've made the experience much better. The kicker was when we were leaving, the manager decided to finally talk to us but just said thank you after all that. I definitely DO NOT recommend this store specifically and potentially the other chain if this is something that most likely will happen again. Save your time and effort since they don't care about their customers.. terribly POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Yelp
Came here as it was one of my cousin's favorite spots. Its located in a strip mall and is a rather casual eatery. Parking wasn't difficult and its open 24/7 which is nice. We came as a large party and they were accommodating. Service was very quick and worked with us as we tried to order between all of us. That was probably the best part of the experience. Food wise, nothing was very great. I got the organ donor noodle and it was fairly underseasoned and the organ meats were way overcooked. Some broths were overly salted and others were bland, it was a strange mix. I'm unsure if it was due to having so many in our party or not but the restaurant was pretty empty when we went. Overall, I wasn't impressed with any food and it all tasted, at best, mid.

Yelp
Food were excellent overall, I usually get the traditional noodle and pork intestine(a bit salty) , and they open 24hrs!! 4 stars because their servers are mostly rude.

Yelp
It's an okay noodle place with a good variety of hand-pulled noodles, skewers, and knife-shaved noodles. Check this out. Promo items till July 18th! Opens 24 Hrs.

Yelp
I'm not going to agree with the average star rating and give this establishment a 2 star review. I came here craving some fresh noodle soup. I ordered the signature beef noodle soup for $12.99. A little pricey for the quality and quantity given to me. First, I tried the soup broth , not bad, then I had the hand pulled noodles. I must say upon the first few bites, I felt like I was transported back home to China. The noodles were flavourful and bouncy. But, That is were it ended, halfway through the bowl, I lost the excitement as the beef was of low quality and the noodles in the bottom second half were sticking together and stale (I could tell they were old and not fresh) I wouldn't recommend this place, and I won't be back. I will stick to my wonton establishments, check my other reviews. Magic noodle is a no for me with no "magic".

Yelp
Haven't been back to this Magic Noodles location in years and I was surprised to see the place being so small now because I remember when they first opened, the room was double the size where they also had individual high seats by the window. Gone are those seats and large room. I was waiting for a good 20+ mins in line for a table. A lot of groups actually walked out and left due to the long wait time and long line-up as the line-up went all the way out of the door. The staff refused to seat two people at the four people table that became available after a group of 3 just left. This is illogical as numerous couples of two people only were already sitting and eating at booths that can easily fit four people so I am not sure why the hesitancy to sit two people at that available table when there was a huge long line by the door of people waiting for along time and no one was also waiting for a table of four in the line-up! After finally getting a seat and ordering, I was told it may take 15 to 20 minutes due to the size of the noodles I picked as they were quite busy. I said it was fine. It seemed they may have been short staffed that evening due to the long weekend and got overloaded with takeout orders. They also prioritize walk in takeout and online orders over dine-in orders. Staff looked like chickens running with their heads cut off as they couldn't keep up. Diners had to go to the desk to pay their bill as the staff was too busy to bring the bill and machine to pay at the table. The waitress finally brought my noodles but forgot my meat that came in a separate dish. The kitchen staff and the waitress back in the kitchen area couldn't figured out why there was an extra meat dish sitting at the counter. I had to remind the waitress that I was missing the meat dish that came with my noodles. This is where she clued in that the dish sitting at the kitchen counter was for mine! Noodles were freshly made. The fried chicken was cold from being sitting out too long. Soup was piping hot. I would have gotten a refill but the whole dining experience seemed to take forever. Overall, I think I will stick to the 24 hours Scarborough location for its efficiency and service as this location was not enjoyable at all. Also, the parking is quite limited in this plaza due to many establisments sharing the parking lot such as the busy Mcdonald's, wing place etc so finding a parking spot can be a PITA for those driving there.

Yelp
Noodles were the star, but no supporting cast Food: Had a couple of noodle dishes and the nom nom chicken for the anniversary special. The beijing bang noodles were nice and saucy, and the noodle texture was chewy and springy, exactly what you would expect from a handmade/hand-pulled noodle. The chicken was nicely sauced and flavour was nice as well, but the portion was very small. The xinjiang friar was a bit disappointing, nothing special and comparable to a typical fried noodle dish except with nicer noodle texture. They skimped out on the toppings and sides, which would have brought the dish together. Service: Typical of any restaurant, and they requested that we order through the app to make their lives easier. It would have been nice if they came around more often for water refills and to explain the dishes a bit at the beginning, but it was understandable given the number of tables each staff member had to cover. Atmosphere: The place was packed with people and it was very casual, a quick stop if you're craving some hand-pulled noodles but not worth the detour if you're not in the area.

Yelp
Magic has gotten better since the last time. Had the magic and it was great. Had my spicy tofu sticks which i love. Fast service and reasonable pricing. Looks like they upgraded the place a bit sonce covid. Blankets seats look new. Great lunch for under $20

Yelp
On a Saturday evening, I had a craving for noodles and decided to visit this restaurant. Although it was quite busy, we were able to get seated after a 15-minute wait. Our order consisted of Dan Dan noodles, tomato beef with hand-shaved noodles, beef scrolls, pumpkin cake, lamb soup with classic noodles, and wontons. Unfortunately, the meal was quite disappointing as the food lacked flavour. In particular, the tomato beef with hand-shaved noodles was a letdown. The soup was bland, and the noodles were too doughy, with an unpleasant texture. I have had this dish at an all-you-can-eat restaurant before, and it tasted much better than this. The only redeeming factor of the meal was the texture of the classic noodles from the lamb soup and Dan Dan noodles, which I loved. The service was okay, but it was challenging to get the attention of our waiter as they were quite busy attending to all the customers. Nonetheless, the staffs were not rude and did their best to assist us. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant, as I have had better quality soup-based dishes and noodles elsewhere.
google avatar

Yelp
Pot belly noodles had a generous meat portion, but needed more sauce. Juli jelly was decent; usually the noodles are thinner & more slippery. The sauce was also a bit weak. Nom nom chicken was decent. The tea egg was very overcooked - there was a very thick grey line between the yolk and the white.

Cypher S.

Yelp
My favourite noodle spot. The staff is super nice and the food is so good! Ambiance is great too, not too loud!
google avatar

Suruthey S.

Yelp
My go to at Magic Noodle is the Signature Stir Fry. You can watch the chefs hand pull the noodle, a lovely touch Chose to switch it up but can never go wrong with a classic! They are open 24 hours and have quick service. Great price for portion and worth while meal at any time of day. The location is a bit on the cooler side so make note of that. Okay parking and generally will get seated pretty quickly. If you're hungry and want tasty food available at any hour, visit magic noodle!

Yelp
When I don't like a restaurant, I usually come back a year later and see if they have improved. Well, I really want to like this place but unfortunately year from year they always disappoint me with the taste. The service is also only slightly above abysmal. Plus the ambiance is cruddy too. Far too noisy to even have a normal conversation. Can't recommend it to anyone.

Yelp
MAGIC NOODLE . . first time trying out magic noodle and was not disappointed! The store is pretty big so we didn't have to wait to get a spot for lunch on a Saturday. The menu is pretty extensive with cold and hot apps, soup noodles and stir fried noodles. You can also choose your noodle thickness. . . Popcorn Chicken 3.5/5 Flavour was good, but the chicken was kind of chewy. Magic beef noodle with ribbon noodles 4.7/5 this is their signature noodle dish and it did not disappoint. The chewiness of the noodle along with the chili oli broth was delicious. The beef was also super tender. Tomato Beef Noodle with ribbon noodles 4/5 I loved the chewiness of the noodle and the beef was very tender. It just melts in your mouth. However, I wasn't a fan of the broth. It tasted like Campbell's tomato soup. Overall we really enjoyed the noodles. The ribbon noodles were perfect for me - the perfect thickness and chewiness. However I would choose a different broth next time. The price to portion ratio is also amazing.

Yelp
The best thing about this place is open 24 hours. Food is decent, small portion though. But if you are not looking for full couse meal then you should be fine.

Yelp
Magical Noodles !!! I have been a Magic Noodle fan since I brought my kids here for the first time. Even though they are older now they have their eyes glued to the Noodle Chef when bangs and slams those noodles down over and over. On our last visit there we decided to do take out and pick up a few of our favourite dishes that they make. The staff were very attentive and kind while we waited for our food to be made. On this visit we tired a few selections, The Signature Fryer, Magic Lamb, The Savoury Wonton Soup, The Smokey Duck and an order of Popcorn Chicken. Our food was as advertised, hot and fresh, and generally good sized portions. We didn't have to wait long and the kids enjoyed watching their noodles be made. Another great visit and another enjoyable meal. Keep up the Good Work Magic Noodle !!!

Yelp
Takeout on a Friday night took awhile. The inside dining area was full and several tables were also occupied on their patio. The soup noodle has always been our favourite, but we've noticed the soup has more oil and the broth has more salt. But the fried noodle is still tasty. Skewer meat is good as well.

Huixue F.

Yelp
One waiter(short , wear glasses, skiny face ) refused to provide menu and asked us use phone to order food. after we insist to require menu , this guy throw the menu on table. rude !!! After talk to manager , give us 30% off . but there is no respond how they deal with that rude guy. never go back

Yelp
I wanted to get points so when I asked for the bill and asked the girl, she said "you should have ordered via the QR code on the table then". What code???????

Yelp
While this place is very cold in the winter without proper A/C, the food was good. I enjoyed my smokey duck soup with noodles. Duck was PERFECTLY cooked, tender and juicy. The broth was tasty and rich. DO NOT order silk string noodles. They're served overcooked, mushy and unpleasant. Waste of money. Instead, order classic noodles. They're served al dente and taste good. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough duck slices in my soup. I would've preferred 3-4 more slices.

Yelp
After driving by the Leslie and 16th Ave location many times, decided to try first time with my Cousin on a Friday afternoon. I ordered the La Mian chicken while she ordered the bowl of Szechuan style dry noodle. My meal took about 5-7 minutes to make but then my Cousin had to wait 15 minutes for her order. Not sure why her meal took so long to make so we had to ask a waiting staff where her meal was. The establishment wasn't too busy as about half full. The waitress went back to the kitchen and within 5 minutes my Cousin's meal came out. My La Mian was tasty but very oily and a bit salty. My Cousin's meal was very salty and a bit spicy. Service was very average and meal was ok for value. Meal including tip came to $31.05. This will be our first and last meal there.

Yelp
I've been to this place 2 times. It's a good place to eat past midnight if you have the munchies. Serving size portions are generous. The restaurant can seat a lot of people, most guests here are in their 20's or studying students. The first time I came I was unimpressed as my soup really was flavourless it was like drinking water. The second time I came late at night after work and was surprised to find out the restaurant is open until 3am. The food came hot to my table and I enjoyed choosing the type of noodle to go with my soup. You have an option of choosing thick or thin noodles. Although amount of ingredients isn't a lot, but they are generous with their noodle sizes. The service was alright, you don't get checked on here, this is a place you order eat and run. The setting of the restaurant isn't much to hype about, but it's an open setting with box seats and a few tables with chairs.
google avatar

Henry L.

Yelp
This place is open late! We arrived near midnight, when all other places were closed. They were the only ones opened who would serve some hot soup to folks who arrived on a late flight. The broth is amazing, as were the noodles, which were made fresh by a chef you can see in the corner. The noodles were very very thin, which is hard to make, and were very fresh. The staff were friendly, and the food came out quite fast. The inside is clean, and very roomy. There were lots of customers even late at night. Overall, a good place for hot noodle soup, especially late nights!

Donna D.

Yelp
Don't go to this place. The guy who receive our order is rude, my friend simply ask if they have rice because some chinese resto have rice and he sarcastically and irate tone "this is a noodle house". And the noodles that I got has hair . The food is horrible, the soup base is probably just made of MSG and the noodles are like rubber and their chicken and pop corn chicken are bland.. WORST!!!! This deserves zero not even a one star
google avatar

Zachary A.

Yelp
Service was very fast and friendly. They were very attentive to orders. Most of the servers do speak Mandarin with limited English so there was a bit of a language barrier but we were able to order quite easily still. The noodles are made in house and you can see the noodle chef constantly making new hand pulled noodles. The pictures shown are the smoky duck and pork ones. As seen, there is a large portion of meat compared to veggies. But the portions are fairly large and filling. I would definitely return again to eat here as they have so many different options for noodle thickness and styles that you can order a new style every day of the week.
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty good noodle restaurant. Service was good and restuant was spacious. Food was ok.
google avatar

Som L.

Yelp
I go to this place on Monday last week, at 5 pm. Lots of customer coming for pick up and dine in. It should be very good business there. I get 2 noodle , one on special and one is not. I add snack tofu to my order and use there app. waitress and workers are not aware of customers and only working hard on there own. It take a long time till my noodle came. Very very very salty for mine and no soup ( not even a bit at all) I used to go to Mc Nicol and Midland branch and food was fast coming delicious and hot and at least server will reponse right away. The ship in Richmond Hill is bigger but not enough staff. I talk with the manager before I go. As there is a long line up, she just give me 11$ and settle my case.
google avatar

Sharon M.

Yelp
I don't get this place. The noodle soups are greasy and the service ranges from okay to crappy. It's just not that great. But somehow I keep coming back. It's like crack. Or the Chinese equivalent of Mcdonalds. What the hell?? Let's start with my main problem with them. Service and the meat and lettuce wrap which I've been put off of ordering ever again. It's supposed to come in 4 pieces, two rolls cut in half, like two burritos. One of the 4 pieces was tiny and was literally lettuce wrapped in the bread (pic uploaded if you want to see). It was ridiculous enough to break me out of my typical Asian passiveness and call a waitress over. Her response? She literally just shrugged and stared at us with a "what do you want me to do about it?" look. Well shit, lady, if I'm gonna get 3/4 of what I ordered, I should only pay 3/4 of the price. So yeah, shitty service if you ever need anything other than to order and the bill. At least their noodles are actually pretty good. Like the noodles specifically. This is the first place I've been to (and probably one of the few) that lets you get wacky it. Thin and round or thick and flat. It goes all the way up to "curtain-sized" noodles. They also have specialty hand cut noodles which are an interesting experience. They're sheared by hand so you get thick inconsistent pieces. Good stuff. Other good stuff include the beef flat breads and skewers. The main menu items are soup noodles and if you thought that sounds pretty healthy, well sorry to disappoint. A lot of them are practically bowls of oil, covering every piece of noodle and the entire inside of your mouth with grease. The toppings that are on top are usually pretty lackluster. I usually get the BBQ Pork & Roasted Duck noodle. It's one of the few noodle soups that is not an oil spill and comes with a decent amount of meat. Mediocre food and mediocre service but for some reason I don't quite understand, I keep coming back for more. Maybe the noodles are actually magic. Maybe something is really wrong with me... Yelp
The last time here was long time ago. The traditional beef noodles was good, the broth was fine and the noodles were chewy. The hot and dry noodles was at best a average. Authenticity aside, the noodles were not the right kind of noodles, the ingredients were not the right kind of ingredients. It was more like sesame sauce noodles to me. The service was fine.
google avatar

Shirley H.

Yelp
Ordered the thickest noodle, which may have being a mistake on my part... it's like eating dumpling wrap that's shaped as a long sheet! This location is always packed, and parking is almost always possible. Coming in on a rainy long weekend day helped! Made sure to ask waitress to have the non-spicy version of noodle soup. The spicy level can get very intense.
google avatar

Brenda V.

Yelp
Got the curry chicken friar which was super oily but really flavorful. I asked for extra spicy but even then it was really salty but not that spicy at the same time . Since I was hungry it was really good. Felt more like a quantity over quality type of place though since I went hungry and still had leftovers form this meal. Overall would recommend and try other items such as the chicken in soup noodles and the seafood friar. I love how they hand pull all their noodles and u can even adjust the width and shape ! However I wouldn't probably get the cold dishes as they all look premade as shown in their display case . The restaurant is roomy and has an open kitchen concept where u can see all the workers hard at work :)

Yelp
Went here for a quick bite with friends. The food is flatly mediocre. My noodles were undercooked and almost raw, and there were very little toppings in my bowl. The meat was hard and the soup had a flat, salty taste that had no flavour. My friend's noodles came ... lukewarm. Every item we ordered seem haphazardly prepared--this place definitely prioritizes quantity over quality. We all felt like we were getting much less than we paid for. Giving it a 1.5 rounded down because there are MUCH better options in the area for Chinese hand pulled noodles.

Yelp
GET THEIR LAMB BROTH NOODLE. ITS 10/10!! So flavorful and exactly what you need to warm your tummy on a cold or rainy day (or any day lol). Also, their tofu skewers are a must get too! 10/10, you can adjust spicy level- just ask.

Yelp
I've been to this Magic Noodle twice and ordered their food online once. The negative review is mainly due to sanitation Food 3/5: Food tastes decent. Their soup has a strong cumin or sesame taste depending on your order and their noodles are relatively chewy. Meat portion is alright. I don't crave their food but it's consistent. Their spicy sauce that is put into some of their noodles is pretty good. Their cumin lamb kabob is good but the amount of meat is not worth the price. Atmosphere 4/5: it's alright. Looks clean (emphasis on look) and you can see the people making noodles by hand. Cleanliness 0/5: I'm not saying this place is absolutely filthy but their water is NASTY. It tastes and smells like chlorine!! The cups that they gave me smells like it wasn't washed properly. It smelled like sweat and bad breath. I swear it's not me! When I told the waitress to give me fresh water because the water tasted weird, I swear I saw her re-use lemon wedges by dumping a lemon wedge from an empty pitcher into my water pitcher. I hope I was seeing things but I'm certain that I wasn't because as she was doing this, I heard her giggling at her co-worker. Plus I was sitting at the front and I had a bad feeling so I was watching her pour the water into my pitcher. Also, my initial water pitcher had no lemon wedge so it's possible that they ran out of it and she re-used an old lemon wedge when I asked that she gives a water pitcher full of fresh water. Service: Not happy with it. Other than the whole water pitcher thing, service was decent this time around. I actually avoided this magic noodles because years ago, the waitress "accidentally" gave me the wrong change. She gave me back $20ish less in change so I avoided this location for a long while. Think about it this way, if I'm coming in tired, I might not notice the mistake in change... so to anyone out there, maybe pay with card and check your receipt to make sure you're not overcharged. Price: Noodle soups are between $10-$13 before tax and tip. Their snacks are pretty pricey and small. Their snacks range from $3-$9 after tax. If you want bang for your buck, get noodle dishes. Recommend? Definitely not anything special and I can't recommend this place. Similar to Lanzhou Ramen except this Magic Noodles isn't very clean and service isn't great. Honestly, if you want similar food at a similar price, go to Lanzhou Ramen. Staff was better there and everything is just better.

Yelp
I had the beef friar. Noodles were al dente . But too greasy. I ate here around 3 times . And out of the 3 times . 3 times I had constipation problems. Like itchy anus and blood in stool. I'm not sure why .

Yelp
Their noodles are still good. But the toppings are lacking and poor quality. The prices have gone up and the portion size has reduced. I ordered the noodles with pork chop. The pork chop came drenched in oil and didn't really taste good. The noodle base only came with a few strands of boy choy leaves.. together they don't even make one stalk of boy choy. The beef pancake roll used to be bigger. Now it's just a sad looking scrawny roll with a small piece of beef inside. Would consider NOT going back considering all the competitors.

Yelp
I wanted to do a quick post about returning back to this restaurant after not visiting since four years ago. I once again loved the items at this restaurant. There are so many noodle restaurants in the Richmond Hill and Markham vicinity that Magic Noodle really has to compete with the others now. On this visit, we ordered the number 110 "Organ Donor" (why do they call it this?) noodle with lamb stock, haggis (intestines), cilantro, scallions, and beef tripe. I asked for the thinnest type of noodles. The noodles were great but became soft and mushy quickly in the hot broth. I really enjoyed the broth! In fact, I finished the entire bowl of soup. The beef tripe was really tender but the intestines were too bland and tasted "crumbly" to me. We also ordered a side of Popcorn Chicken and a Yang Kebab (lamb skewer). Their prices have gone up when compared to four years ago (now it is $2.79 whereas it used to cost $1.99). To my surprise, the Popcorn Chicken was so perfectly done and to my liking! It was a small portion but not bad for a snack. The Yang Kebab was so-so. It was more fatty than actual meat and the cumin powder wasn't very apparent. I still love this place after four years though. Also, starting mid-February 2019, this Richmond Hill location of Magic Noodle will start operating 24 hours a day!

Yelp
First time here. Personally I prefer ramen and vermicelli. But I was passing by and I was craving a bowl of hot soup so I decided to give them a try. I ordered the "tree hugger" (minus the egg). It's noodles with green veggies and shiitake mushrooms. Noodles are prepared fresh from scratch. Veggies were fresh and tasty. Next time I'm trying their fried menu. Place is clean and spacious. Good for group. They open late which is convenient. Free Wi-Fi courtesy of McDonald's. PS. Real tree huggers don't eat eggs.

Yelp
Great quick and easy option if you're looking for a filling meal that hits the spot. Great variety of noodles at this location since it's a full sit down menu as opposed to some of the other locations that are 'order first, then sit down'. I ordered the Triple D S X I believe and it was great! Hand sliced noodles are sliced from the dough in different thicknesses/sizes so your bowl of noodles have a nice combo of textures from all the noodles (some are soft while some are al dente). The beef brisket is stewed to be nice and soft and not too salty. Also appreciate the veggies that comes with it too, so it's not just a meat heavy dish. Service is quick and efficient, definitely recommend coming here for a quick meal!
