Open Bakery Frydenlund

The best bakery we visited on our trip to Norway. Wonderful pastries and excellent coffee. In addition, the bakery comes with a wonderful interior and friendly staff. Highly recommend making a small detour here when visiting the main sights in and around Oslo.

Good bakeries, enough choice and some sandwiches for those who prefer salty food. Quality yes, but nothing extraordinary really. The interior, the decoration is amazing. Authentic, charming, somehow unique style. You're in Paris...almost 🥰

Was there on 24.05.25. I felt in love with this place just as I steppet into it. The ambience is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Coffee and pastries very tastie. Next time I'm in Oslo I know where to go. See ya next time..greetings Max..🇨🇭

This is no doubt the most beautiful branch of Åpent Bakeri I have been to. It has a very authentic atmosphere, it is not very spacious but enough to enjoy a nice coffee break with fresh and delicious pastries. I tried their fastelavnsbolle made with croissant like dough, filled with raspberry cream and it was very tasty. Also, I bought a rundstykke (small round bread) with walnuts which was fresh and yummy too. I definitely suggest everyone to pay a visit to this Åpent Bakeri branch. PS: I would like to congratulate whoever added this Åpent Bakeri branch to Google Maps with the name of Open Bakery; cause it was quite a bit of struggle to find it on maps by searching it as its original / non-translated name as Åpent Bakeri:)

Beautiful place. Its that kind of cafeteria where you can go, enjoy a tasty coffee, be relax and whatever you want. The personal is so kind and also the place is awesome, I mean the decoration and the style of it is preety unique and really nice. Definitely I'll be back right there!

Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. The breads are amazing. We got a cinnamon role and espresso. The place is really worth stopping in.

Tried mochas all over Oslo during our weeklong stay, and this place has the best hands down! This will be my first stop when I return to Oslo. The sandwiches and pastries are delicious, too, and the decor and ambience...charming! Very friendly staff as well. Adore this place!

Extremely cosy cafe with a beautiful interior. The space is pretty limited but it is definitely worth it! Try the freshly baked walnut bread rolls with home made strawberry jam and a double caffe latte, or the almond or cardamom rolls.

Gorgeous space! Seriously, I wish I could live here. Latte was delicious and service friendly. Would definitely pop by again. Great place to get some work done too!
