"Portland Open House's airy space is packed with vintage furniture, antiques, and apparel for those seeking distinctive decor or one-of-a-kind wardrobe pieces." - Coolstuff Team
Open House is a true gem of Portland, with a thoughtfully curated selection of vintage clothing and furniture! The staff are kind and helpful and the store smells quite good. If you like vintage or antique things I’d def check it out. 5/5 stars.

Good News-some great inventory, though you are not necessarily getting any kind of bargain. Bad News- the guy checking you out is just rude, which takes down the whole experience. And it's happened more than once. Plus with the amount this place charges for things-buyers have to purchase a bag? Giving all the icks.

I'm slightly having a hard time writing this review because I do really enjoy the space these folks have curated and the treasures they have found. However, their customer service is ultimately lacking. I expected to walk out the door excited about the wonderful pieces and furniture I had bought. Instead I'm still thinking about how rude and unhelpful their staff was.

Dreamiest collected of vintage and antique furniture and clothes. I could spend hours in there drooling over the MCM furniture. Everything is curated so beautifully it’s hard not to want to buy everything. And the space it self is huge and really unique!

didn’t buy furniture items (i did get some cute knitted fingerless gloves because they have a clothes selection as well) because i’m not from the area but it seems like a great place to get stuff to furnish your home, it is reasonably priced for what it is. it’s not necessarily cheap but everything is beautiful and some things were priced less than you would expect!! def check it out!!

I was a little worried (and sad) when I heard the Flea for All peeps were handing their business over to “someone new” ( I hate change)
But omg it’s fabulous! Beautifully curated, affordable, fab art. Portland Open House = winnah!!!

They're a bit haughty. I have purchased from here many times. That ends. A good place to get waxed though. Tourist prices. Don't appreciate the locals I guess.

Yelp
After checking out Yes Books this was right next door and we wandered in to check it out. The space they have is huge and they have a good variety of antiques and vintage stuff. Despite the big selection it does not feel over crammed like some vintage/antique spots do. So even if they are busy plenty of room to move around.
They have it set up almost like little different rooms with different tables, couches, and/or other furniture with other art or pieces on display too. It's a really nice way of displaying their inventory with enough space for it to all be admired. While we were planning to browse and not looking to buy anything especially larger items. Due to this we did not check prices of the furniture or anything larger. They do have smaller items you can see from some of my pictures. So even those looking for a lower priced purchase you can may find something you like.
We did end up purchasing a butterfly trivet as a gift that was reasonably priced. Worth checking out to even just browse their variety of antiques and vintage items.

Yelp
My favorite downtown shop to browse and get little vintage treasures from. I hope to redecorate my music room soon with authentic mid century pieces, and will go to Open House for everything I need! The prices are excellent. The owners are super people, knowledgeable and helpful, Anna always makes me smile!
