I ordered the "Tempura style squid," but what I received was a flour-based fried dish made with shredded dried squid. The menu description should not be "Tempura style squid" if it is not made with fresh, thick slices of real squid. The staff were not friendly, could not provide a clear explanation, and completely ruined the image of Zamami Island. I do not recommend this place.

What a fantastic place! We each got a tacorice set and beer, which was a bit under ¥2,000. The tacorice set was huge, coming with some fresh sashimi and miso soup, as well as some pickled veggies. Everything tasted incredible, and so fresh!! You could tell the sashimi was a fresh catch. The whole place gave the feeling of a down to earth, family run restaurant. Our server's English was perfect, and all the staff was so friendly!! For sure grab a meal here while you're on Zamami!!

I tried this delicious sushi set, and it was very high-quality and tasty. A very nice place.

My family of four had difficulty finding a restaurant on the island that would accommodate us for dinner, despite many having empty tables. This restaurant graciously welcomed us. We called ahead, and the chef spoke excellent English. The food was delicious, the prices very reasonable, and the portions generous. We enjoyed chicken karage, fried rice, and squid tempura; everything was excellent. We accidentally left our phone behind, and the chef kindly searched for us the next day, going all around the island! He is a very honest and kind gentleman; thank you so much.

Super delicious food! The menu is in nigongo and english as well! They don’t speak english, but try to help and explain about menu! Really appreciate the food Gotisosamadeshita 🙌🤤

I’m so happy we had dinner here. My boyfriend really wanted to try taco rice while we were here. I had the chicken karaaga set! There was so much food and it was so good! Prices are very reasonable and the service was quick!
