Courteous and knowledgeable staff; a beautiful shop. I was made to feel right at home. My hat is absolutely gorgeous and fits like a dream. Amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail. Highly recommended.

This was a total disappointment. I ordered the hat at the end of April and was told it would be finished by the end off June, Late June I get a call that they used the wrong form which was 3/4 of an inch higher and sent a picture. the picture wasn't to bad so I drove the 4 hours to get it. when they showed me the hat it was about 4 sizes to small and sat on the top of my head the only thing right about it was the color. the only good thing was I received a full refund ( which took several weeks).

Came in looking for a replacement for my handmade wide brim straw work hat. Was pointed to some manufactured hikers hats and told their small brims would be sufficient and that their hats were too fragile to even hold by the crown. Never even encouraged to try a hat on.

Excellent customer service, product knowledge, and friendly individuals, in a very historical yet modern shop. Happy with all three custom hats made over the years at this store.
