As a fine artist working with colours and canvas Opus art supplies is THE place to fulfil my peaky tastes. They have all kinds of colours, brushes, sculting equipments, frames and basically many things you don’t know exist in the art world. Also they usually have good discounts for students at the check out. Enjoy !

Opus is such an amazing store for products, demo's, and knowledgeable staff! 10/10 Especially enjoyed visiting Granville Island's original and largest of all the Opus stores to use a gift card! Took our new supplies plus a picnic lunch from the market and went to the beach to paint!

Opus really needs to fix their inventory system. I’ve been disappointed twice this year with inaccurate info on the website. It will say an item is in stock at a particular store, but when I show up at the store, the item is not actually in stock. Don’t trust the website, you have to call and ask an employee to go look at the shelf to make sure they have what you’re looking for. Other than that it’s a great place for art supplies. If they fixed their inventory system, I’d give them 5 stars.

I love art and I love stores, which works out real well ‘cause this place is both. 😅 The range of quality goods is expectedly spectacular. What truly elevates the store however is the community behind it. The store itself is located in the cultural heart of the city. The staff of creatives are pure class, whose advice is laced with technical and artistic insight. And the number of free workshops they host online (and sometimes in-store) serve to inspire the creative beginner, and give a refresher to seasoned experts.

Best service and staff. It is always a delight to come to this store and just soak in all the fun art supplies. Love the staff, they are super patient and kind. I think this is the best art store that I have ever gone to and look forward to more art supplies fun. It is beginner friendly, so if you just want to start exploring a new art, like watercolor or acrylic or oil ect, come and the staff will help you start your journey. Staff is super reliable and give good ideas. I especially like that they have introduced some watercolor art paintings (like paint by number, but without the numbers), which are really fun. Overall I think if you like art then go check out the store! If you do not paint, that is okay, go check out the store! As there are many different types of art supplies and you never know when something will inspire you to start.
