How to Choose the Right RV for Your Next Road Trip, According to Experts | Travel + Leisure

"Pop-up campers, sometimes called folding trailers, are great for towing behind passenger vehicles and SUVs. The campers are compact upon first glance, but they fold out to offer more tented space. Given how easy these trailers are to transport, they're ideal for camping as a couple or small family." - Travel + Leisure Editors

An important part of what you're buying when purchasing an off-road trailer is the company that stands behind it. If you use your trailer for what it's intended (off-roading), then occasional repairs will unavoidably be part of the mix. Which means customer service is going to be super important. On that front Opus Camper is a compelling standout. These people truly care about you having a great experience with your Opus. On repeated occasions Purple Line's customer service crew has truly gone far out of their way to make sure our experience with our Opus 15 remains excellent. We just couldn't be more pleased.

We own a 2023 Opus OP4 camper trailer and had a problem with the carbon monoxide detector. It was diagnosed via email with the Opus Quality Control Lead and determined we needed a replacement unit. Literally within an hour I was in touch with the Opus Warranty and Customer Service Specialist ~ and they shipped the new unit the same afternoon! Outstanding customer service from Opus and Purple Line USA!

I recently had the pleasure of using the Opus Camper OP4, and I can confidently say it has transformed my camping experience. This luxury camper has quickly become my go-to for outdoor adventures, allowing me to enjoy the great outdoors both solo with my two Alaska Malamutes and with family and friends. One of the standout features of the OP4 is its automated capabilities, which make setup a breeze. Gone are the days of struggling with complicated tents or cumbersome gear. With just a push of a button, I could easily set up my camper and get settled in, leaving me more time to enjoy the stunning views of the Sierras. The automation not only saves time but also enhances the overall camping experience, making it more accessible and enjoyable, especially for those of us who love to hit the trails. The OP4's spacious interior is perfect for accommodating both myself and my two dogs. I appreciate how thoughtfully the layout is designed, providing ample space for my Malamutes to lounge and for me to store all my gear. When I'm with family and friends, the camper comfortably fits everyone, making it the ideal base for our outdoor adventures. I’ve been able to reconnect with nature in a way I hadn’t anticipated. Whether it’s a solo trip to take in the serene beauty of the mountains or a fun-filled weekend with loved ones, the Opus Camper OP4 has provided me with the comfort and functionality I need to truly enjoy my time outdoors. Overall, I highly recommend the Opus Camper OP4 to anyone looking to elevate their camping experience. Its blend of luxury, automation, and practicality has made it my favorite way to explore the great outdoors, and I can’t wait for my next adventure in the Sierras!

We bought our OP4 during the Pandemic to create "safe distances". We bring our 3 dogs and plenty of firewood for cozy nights under the stars. I am most relaxed gazing at the mountains and streams when we overland to far-away places. We have talked to lots of people about our tent set up/camper, we LOVE IT!! The Opus/Purpleline office people are warm and inviting and even helpful! We have made many friends in our OP4 and it makes me happy.

I love my camper! They are very well made and an overall quality product. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and it's one of the most versatile trailers. It's perfect for any trip, rugged, easy to use and has everything you need, including an easy to read instruction manual!

I’ve had an Opus Op-15 for two years. The most impressive, stylish, functional, and comfortable over landing trailer ever. The values and quality products of this company are excellent. They’re responsive to technical questions and love the innovative features…solar, hitch, suspension, bamboo cabinets etc. Thank you Opus and Purpleline for making our camping adventures amazing!

After 2 years, I am happy with the camper, but the following are the cons for me: * The axial is to far forward, we have to load it with as much of the weight on the front to stop the sway * Removing the spare wheel is a 2 person job so I'm purchasing a lift mechanism. * There is no rack option for carrying my kayaks on top of the camper. * The inside is on ok layout but if the table is up the bed on the far end is imposable to use. The most important for me is the first item, the axial should be 10 inches back for safety.
