100 metres from train stain, 250 metres to city centre. Very friendly staff, really nice modern rooms and a great breakfast using local produce. The apple juice is amazing! Overall great hotel in a brilliant city, highly recommended

Another great overnight stay in this hotel. Great location, staff and breakfast. Comfortable room and bed for a great night's sleep. Hotel is across the road from the train station and just 5 minutes from the town centre. Plenty of nearby restaurants for evening meals too.

Oranje is pretty comfortable. Rooms are wide, quiet, although a little too gray (put some colour in them: Northern Europe weather is already kind of gray).||Staff is extremely nice and helpful. I think though that a 4 star hotel needs a restaurant in it. If a guest can't go out or doesn't feel like it for some reasons is forced to have only a few snacks, which cannot exactly be called a meal.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel…short walk from the train station and only 5-7 minutes walking to the city center. Room was very large and comfortable. The king size bed was huge and very comfy with soft high quality pillows. There was a small fridge in the room with some free bottles of water and other drinks. I highly recommend this hotel.

Right across from the train station and easy walk to old town across canal. Room is big and clean- a bit dark- bed is comfy and good pillows. Excellent WiFi. Staff is friendly and very helpful. There is a/c but not super cold- staff kindly added a fan for me. Windows open - love that. Grocery store up the street. Kettle/ coffeemaker and fridge in room.

Great hotel located within walking distance of all major attractions and station in Leeuwarden. Helpful and super friendly staff. Great room. Soft bed. Free goodies in fridge including beer. Three restaurants on the doorstep that are amazing!

Very nice hotel, next to the train station. Friendly staff and the rooms are spacious. We had a room with balcony absolutely fantastic :)

Over the years, I have eaten at the restaurant attached to Oranje Hotel, but I've never needed to stay there as I have friends in town. This year was different, and I needed a room for New Years Eve and booked at Oranje. Checking into the hotel was easy and I was offered an Ollie Bollen (Dutch Donut), before heading up to my room. They won me over by giving me deep fried dough, but then the room it self was actually quite nice as well. I had an upgraded room with a balcony which was great for viewing the last of the fireworks when I made it back to the hotel. It was a great room, with friendly staff at an affordable price. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is conveniently located across the street from the NL train station. Check in was quick which was refreshing compared to most Euro/UK hotels, especially since I started the day at Heathrow and took several trains through UK, FR, BL, and NL to get there. Great breakfast! Quick walk to major shopping and theaters.
