Orchard Hill Estate Cidery and Fruit market

Sooooo disappointed with our visit here. My son was so excited to have some local cherries so we purchased a small container that we assumed was fresh as there were only two to choose from! Upon driving away, my son discovered that only the top cherries looked good and almost all of them underneath were VERY rotten… not just a bit but had these had clearly sat for days. To make matters worse, we had noticed that the lady at the counter had been snacking on her own larger box that clearly contained better cherries. We could understand if a few cherries had been bad but this was clearly a scam. The fruit selection was minimal but we had assumed that meant what was out would be good. The mini tomatoes and plums we bought were also full of rotten and soft pieces as well. Clearly nobody had even removed the squished and rotten ones throughout the boxes. We also purchased four cans of cider and were quite unimpressed by the weak apple flavour and bitter taste. We drove a long way to experience fresh fruit and local cider only to realize that our local grocery and liquor stores back home offer better. We feel like we were played and would have gone back but didn’t want the hassle, especially traveling with a child. Try another of the many cidery / fruit stands in the area. This one clearly has no standards or pride in what they sell.

Stated will waive the tasting fee if bought cider bottle , but still got charged for the full price when got 2 cider bottles from the Orchid hill Cidery. Supposedly , doing the business should be honest to public, but that’s not how it is for this place . Be aware.

Fantastic fresh fruit stand with attached Cidery. Service was excellent and the cider was to die for. Thank you Orchard Hill!!!

The cider is incredible, if you love real, dry, and rich ciders. As a maker and consumer of alcohol I know when it’s bottled and made with pride and care! The service was so lovely and the woman at the desk was so polite and knowledgeable. Really appreciate their beautiful produce and pickled vegetable selection as well! You have to stop by here! It’s a must. ⭐️

The Cider place by the side of the highway was a dusty disappointment. Fresh produce was scarce, and the cider, lacking a true apple flavor, fell flat. The experience was soured further by the rude, barking old lady behind the counter, demanding $10 for a lackluster tasting. Not worth the trip.

A must visit! One year later and still enjoying your cider, this is my last one though, where can I get in Ontario?

The Red Roof cider is awesome, and so is the Extra Dry and the Okanagan Bubbly! Worth the stop on the highwayway!

Fruit stand with your usual selections of produce and local products, but they have a separate licensed area for alcoholic cider that they make. There were 2 choices - Red Roof (dry), or Okanagan Bubbly (semi sweet). They come in 4-packs, or 750ml.

Me and my brother in-laws went here for some cider The place is more so a fruit stand with a small area that does the cider The cider is good though They have three ciders A sweet one One that's in the middle of sweet/dry Finally a dry one I ended up buying a four pack of the sweet/dry Was actually pretty good Lots of fruits and veggies to buy while you are there Definitely check it out if you are rolling through to Osoyoos

This place is more of a fruit stand that also makes cider. The cider is good though. They just have a basic cider that they sell in 4-packs or larger liter bottles so don't expect any of the flavoured beverages. You can also try a free sample. Aside from the fruit and cider they also have a selection of jams, syrups, and vinegars.
