Nice variety of apples, all very tasty and sweet. The orchard is very large, allowing us to enjoy privacy. The prices are much higher than simply purchasing apples in the store, but it's not just about the apples

Paulina Armstrong

Google
Second time at this orchard and we enjoyed ourselves. The apples were absolutely delicious. It is such a beautiful and scenic place. I purchased the infamous apple cider donuts, apple butter and apple cider to take home. We all had so fun spending time together at Orchards of Concklin.

Not one person that works there is nice. They all just stare and are annoyed when you ask a question. The fudge is really bad and cheaply made and full of artificial flavors and chemicals. The donuts were bad and dry, even the glazed. You would expect a place like this to have more quality products and more truly homemade items. It’s over priced stuff you could find in a market like Decicco or Old World or even Whole Foods and some plants outside but the employees and owners are the most disappointing part. Don’t believe any hype you hear.

Google
They are scammers. They buy produce from stores or California and South American farms, upcharge and pass it off as their own product - especially at local farmer markets. This harms the real farms. Also the treatment of their employees is atrocious and causes the employees to have awful attitudes towards customers. The good reviews are outdated. Beware the apple picking is really expensive. A family of 4 even with toddlers it would be 36 dollars and the bags cannot even be filled - or you will get charged extra. In addition you cannot bring strollers or bags - so forget it if you have to feed your baby or toddler a bottle or snacks along the way.

Apple picking was fun, there were all different kinds of apples. The orchard was pretty and wasn't crowded. Also the donuts were awesome 😋

Google
Beautiful orchard. You have to make reservations online. Just go onto the website - they ask for name and number of people in your party and then you choose your time slot. We actually did it as we got there (the original orchard we picked was Dr. Davis and that was packed!) But I don't recommend doing that. The later slots were all filled. When you enter the apple picking section they ask if you have a reservation. We first went to the store/supermarket but the actual orchard is a little ways down the road - we took the car and parked there. You only pay when you get there - you have the option of either small bags ($12/each) or a big bag ($45). I'm not sure if you can take 1 big bag for your whole party or if you would have to get 2, i guess it depends on the number of people, they would tell you. We walked quite a way to get any apples - a lot of the trees had already been picked bare but as we got deeper into the orchard there were more trees with apples. There were quite a few varieties of apples but the names are only on one end of the row, so if you walk the length of it and then walk the other side you don't quite know what you've got. I'm sure if it really mattered to you, you could ask someone from the farm. They also have plots of corn but of course those were done for the season. We stayed for a bit more than an hour - no one tells you when to leave . Masks are required at all times but regardless, it was lovely to be outside. They have porter potties by the parking lot if you need to go and also near the store .

Now this is a great place. Do you want anything fresh come to the Orchard? It’s all homemade they even have apple picking.

Google
Great. 20 family members including 2 babies, 3 toddlers and 2 young children picked apples. It was healthy, safe and lots of fun! Of course we had to stop by the store for Apple 🍎 cider and donuts!

Yelp
Columbus Day weekend still had a surprisingly large selection of apples on trees, especially considering that it's been raining for the past five weekends. We enjoyed picking four (or five?) selections of apples, which were ripe for gathering. Small & sweet orchard. Typical for similar orchards in the area. Porter potties available on premises. No indoor bathrooms. Every person entering the orchard must purchase a $16 bag of apples. The bag is TINY (1/2peck, which is around 6-7 small/medium apples), so I would not return to this farm for this price. No bags, strollers, or pets allowed in the orchard, when you're picking your own produce. Everything you pick must go in the tiny bags you purchase. You will be checked/patted down upon exiting, which is a bit excessive. Taking off stars for the orchard monitoring staff attitude and treatment of customers. Orchard Staff were harried and stressed, so interacting with them was not a friendly or welcoming experience. Very transactional and impatient approach, which is not the vibe you should set if you want to create a wholesome, family experience. Pumpkins, soil, mulch, and mums are sold in the store. Tons of baked goods, jellies, and produce are available for purchase. Baked goods (pies, quiches, crumbles, cookies, doughnuts, and cookies) always fly off the shelf--when we got the store, the staff were stacking the shelves with boxes, and two hours later, almost everything was sold.

Yelp
Decided to stop by here to have a look-see, it's missing more employees, like teamwork, organization, we noticed that the apples on the farm area are not well maintained, and it's eerily quiet..

Nicole H.

Yelp
This store has amazing tomatoes.. juicy all the way through! The herbs are nice too... the basil is nice and fresh. The store has vintage look and feel. Reminds me of a store from 50+ years ago. Very neat.

Yelp
Visited Orchards of Concklin mid-October on Sunday and picked lots of apples! The orchard is behind their grocery store which is about a 2-minute drive. Parking is free. They have portable potties outside the Orchard so make sure you go before you enter so you don't need to exit to use the restroom! They're also following face moving procedures so make sure you wear your masks! The green apples were a bit bitter and delicious! I personally love bitter apples but I found them when my bag was already full of red apples so I couldn't fill it with add many greens as I would have liked. They also had Ruby Frost apples and other red ones that were very sweet and delicious as well! We walked in deep into the orchard to pick some of the red apples. The Ruby Frosts were right by the entrance. All of the apples were very aromatic and smelled delicious on the ride home! I bought each flavor of their fresh apple cider donuts! They're packed but you can see them bring them out during the day! My favorite was the glazed apple cider donuts followed by the plain apple cider donuts. They are sold inside their grocery store which also sells everything from honey to fresh food to candy! Tl;dr - lots of delicious apples to pick during mid-October! Free parking and Apple cider donuts are delicious!

Yelp
My friend and I went out of our way to find this place and taste its baked goods. What a disappointment !! AVOID the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies: the chips were tiny, the cookie didn't taste good, and they were overpriced at $3.75 per lb.If you want premium chocolate chip cookies, try Trader Joe's. AVOID the coconut custard pie: not light, not tasty and overpriced at $8.50 for a 6 inch pie; to their credit, the pie was not overly sweet. I've had much better blueberry pies: again, to their credit, this pie is not overly sweet, but the texture is 'gooey' from fillers. It's also topped with strips of flour which adds to the visual of the pie, but not to its taste. Is it a cheap way of filling the tin with fewer blueberries ?? I won't be trying their baked goods again, which are much better at Costco, or Trader Joes, who also stand behind all their goods. Other reviewers like their apple picking and local produce (though some were disappointed), so I would stick to that. Please read the other 1 and 2 star reviews about their other pies. BUYER BEWARE !!

Krs M.

Yelp
Very underwhelmed by this farm. When asked about the most popular quiches I was told it's all very famous ; first red flag for just to get you to buy anything. The spinach tomato quiche tasted like plain cheddar cheese and a super soggy bottom. Not a pleasure to eat at all, I wasn't sure if i needed to bake them first when I was cutting into it. A bit disgusting unfortunately. Chicken and broccoli was slightly better in texture and tasted like cheddar and some broccoli. Absolutely Skip the quiches if you ask me Apple cider donuts were better but nothing to write home about, texture wasn't soft but firm so the 3 stars

Yelp
Went for a walk and came across the orchards of Concklin. This place had it all. Basically a local grocery store with fresh produce.

Mike C.

Yelp
nostalgic. Been going for years with the kids .................... now adults , great apple cider donuts and seasonal apple picking

Jose C.

Yelp
Overpriced Coconut Custard pie that tastes like cheesecake made with sour milk, brownies as hard as a brick, and crumb apple pie with very sour apples and powdered something on top. Do not buy any pie's or baked goods here. Nothing has an expiration date on it. Nothing was edible or enjoyable. Horrible! It all went into the garbage.

Richard M.

Yelp
Been going there for years.Good to pickup a few things bread, milk, juice, cheese without going to a major supermarket.Yea more money but its not shoprite or stop and shop. Have no problem supporting local business.

Phoebe R.

Yelp
I love this place.! Not only they have best apples and donuts, they have very helpful, Friedberg staffs. Since COVID-19 I've coming here for my regular groceries... they do not have tons of items but do have every important stuffs.! Loved they've decided to open over winters thank you!!!

Tom B.

Yelp
People think this is an apple picking park, no this is a local farm with apple trees. Like any farm you will have some fruits and vegetables a little different than your traditional supermarket. There products are very trust worthy, great quality. Put more trust into your local farms. Love the work they are doing.

Connie C.

Yelp
GREAT Quiche! Highly recommend and it freezes and reheats well.

Beth D.

Yelp
This used to be a favorite of mine growing up so when I had the chance to take my daughter and husband there I couldn't wait. When we got there though I was incredibly disappointed that they were charging $16 per PERSON. I can understand if it's per bag of apples. But per person!! First we would have had more apples then we would ever need. Second it would have cost $50 for the three of us to pick. No thanks. Why anyone would spend that kind of money is beyond me

Pucci P.

Yelp
Phenomenal selection of local fruit and vegetables. They even have farm fresh eggs and homemade pie. It's like a giant farmers market that is opened everyday and all year round. This is my new go to spot!!!

Julie C.

Yelp
Disappointing orchard. There were few good apples and hard to find. No pets or picnicking allowed. Overall, would not visit again.

Michael G.

Yelp
The one must-stop each week in our farmer's market. Great produce--terrific staff happy to share recommendations and advice. Best apples, peaches and corn in New York. And as someone who grew up with a sour cherry tree in the backyard and who grew up on all things cherry, and who has ordered cherry pies all over the country, I have never tasted any cherry pie better than theirs. Simply the best!

Marcella A.

Yelp
Very quaint place. The store upstairs is quite expensive. There homemade cookies are amazing . Overall the location and the store is really cute.

Jill C.

Yelp
This place is amazing. The orchards are great and never packed. It's a little hidden gem in Rockland county. They have pumpkin and apple picking with a large selection of apples, some i have never heard of ("northern spy and jonagold"). The farmers market is full of specialty products and baked pies and goods, fresh apple Cider and raw honey, all local and delicious. It's really a fun place for the kids and prices are very reasonable. It's become our "go to" spot for apples and fresh farm products in the fall.

Jeanne R.

Yelp
Everyone who works there was SUPER friendly and pleasant. The apples are absolutely delicious - probably the best I've had from a farm. The two types that were currently available to pick were crispy and crunchy. The apples are low enough to pick. This place doesn't have extra frills like a hayride or a corn maze but their apples beat all the other farms.

Jincy J.

Yelp
Staff is so nice and helpful! Beautiful orchards and delicious apples. We were there when Jonagold, Macintosh, and my personal favorite Macoun apples were available to pick. Apple cider and apple cider donuts as well as other goodies can be found in the store. Would visit again!

VoicefromCN H.

Yelp
When apples are designated "new crop" we expect the skin and flesh to be firm and crunchy. I don't know where these were stored but they taste like new crap. They were purchased in your store. Then at the Nyack market I purchased a couple pounds of peaches for $2.99. - not cheap. I did as instructed and left them on the counter for a couple of days. They were mealy and gross. i'm angry about having to pay top dollar for subpar produce.

Yelp
We picked this spot because it had good press in a list of top apple picking spots in NY. Also, we wanted to try someplace new, and it's well within the zipcar mileage limitation. This place was hands down the lamest apple picking experience we've ever had. There's only one small area of trees to pick, and they were all the same type of apple. Stupidly, we paid extra for a bigger bag (the baseline bag is TINY) before we knew there was only one apple type to choose from. Only took about 8 minutes to stroll the whole "orchard" and we ended up with about $10 of bland apples for $25. It's no fun to get all the way out of the city just to feel ripped off. We thought the store (which is not connected to the same lot, so you have to drive again) might make up for it, but it felt like a tiny supermarket. Pies and doughnuts felt/looked factory-made, although I don't doubt the doughnuts are made there. They were all packaged and cold though, so what's the point? No maze. No community feeling. No apple variety. Tiny orchard. WASTED SUNDAY.

L. S.

Yelp
Small variety of goods mostly from other stores/manufacturers. There is an apple orchard and when I went to look at it, standing on a public street a woman ran out and yelled, "you can't go in there!" I told her I was only looking but that was rude and unnecessary as I am a senior citizen and do not leap over fences.

Jonathan M.

Yelp
Just speaking about the orchard itself. $9 per person (ages 3+). So if you have a big family, it gets expensive. Limited in picking selection when we went this Sunday- only macintosh apples. We filled 2 bags to brim and one of the guys stopped us and told us we are going to get charged a 3rd bag because he thought we were cheating. I nicknamed it the Orchards of Rip Off. If you have ability to drive further away from city, there are way better apple picking places.

Yelp
I have been coming here since I was a kid, decades ago. I am disappointed that the last few times I bought baked goods here the pricey donuts and cookies were both stale/rock hard and desert dry. I feel that I have wasted my money. The pies and apple cider still seem pretty good.

Angie-Jo W.

Yelp
Here's the thing about "The Orchards," as the locals call it: This is a 200-year-old family run farm with a farm store. That alone makes it worth the visit: It's a part of history! They've survived the pressure to sell and suburban sprawl. Its apple trees are thick and old and twisted -- they look magical, like something out of Harry Potter, or that you'd see on Game of Thrones. The Orchard makes their own pies and apple cider donuts that are decadently deelish. They retail produce, which in-season will include their own (it's winter now so you shouldn't expect what they stock to be local, but what store *is* carrying great local produce right now?). The Orchards also has a wonderful variety of jams and "fruit butters" plus lots of other goodies. This place is less than a mile from a very easy on/off the Palisades Parkway. Go, buy something, and show your love for local farmers and growers. May The Orchards survive for another 100 years or longer!!

Yelp
I am writing this review literally 15 MINUTES after having the WORST experience with The Orchards of Concklin cashier at the farmer's market in front of the 30 Rockefeller Plaza. I was going to purchase a box of chocolate chip cookies along with two other guys who were ahead of me. We were all huddled around the cashier. One guy was served, then when I put my box of cookies on the counter, the cashier, who is a 20-ish brown-haired guy, said the other guy came first, so I said fine. Assuming I was next, I started to pay. Then all of a sudden two other ladies come up behind me and put their stuff on the counter. The cashier looked up to me again and said that the two ladies came up first. The ladies weren't even there when I was arrived. Really shocking! And when the ladies started yapping about how I should get on line and the cashier started to take their side, that got me pissed off. So there you have it. Based on one visit to their stand at the farmer's market in front of Rockefeller Center with a cashier who willingly ignored me and dished out abuse to boot, I can say I cannot recommend patronizing the Orchards of Concklin to anyone.

Doron K.

Yelp
Used to be a great place now they became a rip off. Charging nine dollars per person for three-year-olds. Is very expensive there are cheaper ones around.

Stessa F.

Yelp
As a kid, apple picking was my favorite Fall activity where we would go to an orchard for the day, hang out, try apples before we picked them (to make sure we enjoyed the apples we were going to purchase) and lay under the trees (plus pick apples, corn mazes, etc). This weekend my family and I decided to visit this orchard as it is closer to our home than other orchards. When we arrived were subject to a "check" to make sure we weren't "smuggling" in bags. We had a bag with a blanket and were told we couldn't sit down, nor could we try apples, plus we had to buy 2 bags if we had more than 4 people. The attendants were down right mean to boot. (i.e extremely rude and accusatory, as if we were there to steal!) We decided at that moment to run away as fast as we could. I'm not in the business of spending my money on a business who takes the fun out of apple picking and makes me feel unwelcome. We ended up driving to another orchard (the one I attended as a child) and enjoyed a day of apple picking, a picnic and family fun. Yes, the second orchard was more per bag (though you aren't required to purchase apples if you choose not to, even if I don't actually think that's "fair" to the business) and further away. However, we weren't forced to buy apples we couldn't try and had an actual experience, isn't that what apple picking is about?

Kimberly G.

Yelp
My family has traveled to the Orchards of Concklin every year since 2007 for fall apple picking. After this past weekend's experience (9/22/12), I can definitively say we will NEVER go there again. In past years, you could bring your own canvas bags into the orchards, pick what you liked and they would charge you by the pound on the way out. This year, you had to buy one of their PLASTIC bags. The bags are ridiculously expensive -- $18 for a small bag about the size of a standard gift bag or $40 for a bag maybe 1.5 x the size. It was a total rip off!! Further, the port-o-potties onsite were FILTHY. Out of the three at the farm stand, one was clogged right up the rim with paper and waste and the other 2 were caked with muck and grime and had a ton of spider webs in them. My little girls were completely horrified. Further, only one had any hand sanitizer. At $18 for a small bag of apples, I think they can afford to get the port o potties cleaned out. Lastly (and this is not new from previous years) the vast majority of baked goods they sell are total crap -- full of trans fat and artificial ingredients. I'd be shocked if they actually bake anything onsite. There are plenty of other farms/farm stands/pick your own places in the NY/NJ area - from now on we will go elsewhere.

Yelp
HAVES: apple picking for $1.29/lb, long picker poles too for $1 trees short enough to pick from with low branches for illegal climbing fresh apple cider and cider donuts (they go quick when dumped out, so you have to lay in wait next to the donut box for fresh batches) pumpkins, the selection goes downhill quickly, by Oct. it's sad a market, though more supermarket than country store ample parking nice views mums aplenty selection of fresh vegetables lots of jams, jellys, butters, etc. pies, cookies, other baked goods decent cheese selection country style candies kid area with a handful of moon bounces HAVE NOTS: farm animals hot apple cider or other yummy fall drinks outgoing staff prepared foods corn maze hay bales Overall, we were happy with the 45 minute ride from the GWB, and when apple picking, but disappointed by the lacking "New England Fall Experience." We got three shopping bags full of apples for $37, which is a fine deal, but next time I'm going to try somewhere new.

Anthony S.

Yelp
This place takes "rip-off" to a new level. High per person charge, even for toddlers, and extra fees for poles, and a limit of one small bag per person. They also invite "picking" long after there are any apples on the trees. We couldn't even fill the small bags they gave us.

Monika S.

Yelp
I have been buying their apples from a farmer's market and I have to say they are the best and worth the price. Since the pandemic started I wanted to support their business and shop for other essentials. However, the quality of the produce is very poor-especially now since you cannot go into the store and shop yourself, you rely on staff to get your groceries. When I received my groceries, I discovered a couple of issues: I paid for garbanzo beans but they were nowhere to be found. Arugula and basil were dried out and the basil "bunch" consisted of 3 stems with all leaves wilted. I also purchased 2 lemons, but got charged for 5. Needless to say, I am very disappointed and I realize that everyone is very stressed out and grocery shopping has been difficult for all but this is not an excuse to rip people off. I am definitely not going back there to have anybody "bag" my groceries. What a shame.

Cassiebobassie A.

Yelp
I have a quaint experience of apple picking in upstate New York....in a rural community that included hay-rides, apple cider, and piping hot apple cider donuts. I went on 10/29 and entered into a small store that reminded me of a local market but I was expecting more home baked goods - like jams - but I didn't find that. It was cute but not impressive. I bought some local produce and spent nearly $20 on grapes ($2.99/lb), tomatoes, e.t.c. The prices weren't unreasonable. They have honey, onions, garlic. I wanted hot apple cider which was $1.50 and such a rip off - barely a 6 oz cup. Might as well buy a half gallon for $3.39. I can't attest for the apple picking - there was only pumpkins left. The apple cider donuts was 6 for about $4.75 which is not too bad but I've had better. The lasting impressions: The shop keeper/clerk was rude and disengaged, clearly not wanting to be there and left a bad taste in my mouth. There was no cute charm and I was bringing a family friend to experience "fall" in New York. Will not be going back again.

Nicole D.

Yelp
This orchard is closer to the city than ones in Warwick, NY, so my guess is they get a lot of patrons. But I wonder if it would have been worth the extra 15 - 20 minute drive to get to Warwick. I went with a group last weekend which may be later in the apple picking season. They charge $33 for a half bushel bag and $18 for a quarter bushel. This seems expensive compared to other orchards that list mid $20s for a bushel. They don't allow pets or outside food where some other orchards do, but not all. Signs describing the type of apples were okay and sparse. There were no attendants helping or directing you in the orchard...only at the entrance where you paid. There were some tasty apples but just wish I knew what type they really were. And by the time you fill up your bag, it's hard to tell some of them apart. The store has a small grocery look. They certainly picked some of the better apples and saved ones that weren't available in the orchard anymore like Macouns. Pies were reasonably priced. A small (6"?) peach blueberry pie was good. Top crust was nice but bottom turned gluey. We also tried a tomato, onion, broccoli quiche that was tasty but texture was mushy and didn't hold up when cutting slices.

Alyssa R.

Yelp
So I've never actually been up to Pomona NY, but every so often I go out of my way to take the 2 train to Park Place and walk up towards Chambers so I can check out the City Hall Park Greenmarket. The only reason I do this is for the Apple Cider Donuts. They are the best! 6 homemade donuts rolled in cinnamon/sugar, confectionery sugar, or kept plain if that's how you like it, for $2.85. I'd spend that on those any day of the week.

Lia K.

Yelp
I really enjoyed apple picking from their Macoun and Cortland fields. It was super easy and lots of fun. Apples are crunchy and sweet when we went picking on October 6th. The field wasn't packed on a weekend at noon-time. Granted, it was a drizzling day, but it was still so much fun! There are lots of reflective vest wearing staffers directing you to the field where you want to pick. Very easy. Very good service. The address for picking is slightly different than the actual market location- so do some research before you embark on your adventure. While I wasn't thrilled about renting a picking pole which looks like a spikey lacrosse stick ($7 down, $5 back when you return so a net charge of $2). Unfortunately it is advisable to purchase these as the Cortlands were up top. The Macouns were easier to pick at my height level (5'5"). A large bag which averages 25lbs cost us $33.They take plastic-WUT? YES! We thought this was the best deal to share. What is also notable is that you can purchase a 25lb bag to share between 4 people. If there are more people in your party, apparently you have to purchase more bags. Not sure how I feel about this one... but I guess they have to make a profit. I guess. No charge to pick you own apples. Beware: some orchards hide this fee as a "membership fee" but not at Concklin!! The only thing you can't really do is hop from one Orchard location to another Orchard field and for good reason. Overall, we had a great time! I would definitely come back to Concklin. It's not too far away and its just the right amount of "rules" to enjoy apple picking. I wish the older ladies who man the info tent right before the register was nicer but hey, whatever. I'd be crotchety if I had to stand in the elements every weekend during apple picking season too.. I guess....

Lisa S.

Yelp
Love the market, and their apple cider is AMAZING. Cider donuts are good too, and although it seems a bit wasteful I love the giant mass of extra powdered sugar at the bottom of each bag of powdered donuts. At least you know they aren't skimping. :) My one big wish is that they would put in a walking path from the store area to the orchards, instead of having people walk in the road. They have the land for it, with no trees growing there, it wouldn't be too hard. They accept credit cards at the store but NOT where you pick-your-own. Make sure you have cash!

Irving A.

Yelp
Very cozy apple picking. The get lots of people a day and employees may be a little monotonous. Need better guidance on how it works, maybe having someone indicating where to go. Very pleased with my visit.

Monica H.

Yelp
Fun apple picking orchard, just minutes off the Palisades Parkway and near NYC. We went today and they still had Rome apples on the trees...and it's NOV! There weren't many trees with apples but the trees that HAD apples were still pretty loaded. The Rome apples were yummy to eat right off the trees. They charge .95 cents per pound. BRING YOUR OWN BAG. They rent the apple pickers for a few bucks and its a fun afternoon day outdoors just outside NYC. They also have a nice farmers market store with loads of apples, fruit butters (vegan), dried fruits and nuts and veggies. Good times.

Remya N.

Yelp
This is my second time here and I've loved it both times!! You can buy and a small bag of apples for $18 or a bigger bag for $33and you fill them up as much as you can. You can't bring your own bags, but that's fine. Their apples were DELICIOUS especially the empire apples. There market has some great pies and jams and such! It's absolutely beautiful here! great way to spend a fall day :)

Sam W.

Yelp
The apples were good but the experience was totally overpriced. We paid nearly $30 for two small bags of apples. You have to pay for a bag before you go in the orchard (they have all sorts of tables and temporary fences to make sure you don't slip by) and the bags don't hold a lot. And everyone has to have a bag or be part of a "family bag," which costs $36. For years we went to Lawrence Farms and they would give you a big bag and charge you at the end. They were much more generous in spirit and in kind. Here, you're paying for the experience of competing with yellow jackets in a rather crowded orchard. The donuts were not freshly made and were $1 each. They were dry. The people in the parking area were very friendly but we won't be back. I can get good apples for much less.

Yelp
Not sure I want to pay $9 per person for a mandatory bag of apples. I tried to enter with a family of 5 their "deal" was for family of 4. Decided to go to a real orchard with hayrides etc in Orange County. Done with them.

Yelp
We had previously come to your orchards for a 10+ year annual family tradition that hosted approximately 25 people. We typically purchased a large amount of apples and many pastries from your store to bring back to our party afterward. This all ended yesterday. As your greed got the better of you we politely declined spending $225 for 25 of our family members to simply enter your orchard. Yes, we understand that price included apple picking. Unfortunately, like many others, we simply did not need apple for every single person. You lost a growing 20+ family from not only purchasing apples from your orchard, hundreds of dollars in lost revenue from shopping at your store year-round. We will 100% never be coming back and definitely continuing the tradition elsewhere.

Yelp
Way too expensive for apple picking. $9 minimum per person (including 3 year olds) is excessive.

Yelp
Horrible, rude customer service! The woman working there (maybe the owner) literally chased me out the door after I bought a few things to yell at me over something minor (literally worth no more than $2). Real classy! ''For future references'', you should not chase paying customers out the door to reprimand them, you should have addressed the issue inside the store! Scumbags

Yelp
Was looking forward to spending a nice day picking apples with my family. Instead, we found out this company started charging $9 per person, even if some people weren't planning on picking any apples! Yes, when you factor in the bag you have to fill, the price per pound is reasonable. But to get that reasonable price, you are trapped in the orchard while everyone tries to fill that bag. Including your 4-year-old niece who also has to pay $9 for her own personal 5lb bag of apples. I'd be fine if they charged a nominal entry fee and also for apples. But $60 for an afternoon and more apples than any one family could reasonably expect to use is highway robbery. (And they only take cash, which makes me think there is something else shady going on.) As for the baked goods, meh. I've had better. The jar of Cheddar Ale Mustard we took home was pretty good, though.

Yelp
Went there on labor day and was told apple picking doesnt start until 9/17/17 and only on Sunday. I remember when the farm was opened year round and brought my kids there when they were little.
