Great hotel. It’s like a laid back place located in the city. Not so noisy and the city view is great. Buffet breakfast is great too, so many options for the decent price. Pool is small though but at least the view of it while dining is a plus. Our room was family room, big and spacious, quite old though but everything is fine. Will consider to book again.☺️

Excellent Service and Memorable Stay!I was thoroughly impressed by the level of service provided. From the moment I checked in, the front desk staff were warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. They made me feel genuinely welcomed and were quick to accommodate my requests.Housekeeping was impeccable—my room was spotless each day, and any extra amenities I asked for were delivered promptly.Overall, it was a five-star experience. The staff went above and beyond, and I would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

Had a great stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location—close to everything I needed. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff were kind enough to let me leave my bags at the hotel even though the check-in time is still at 2PM because I explained that I had an event starting at 8AM. I have no negative comments but I was weirded out by my room having a door that connects to the room next door. It can be locked from the inside so that's a relief but I still had it blocked overnight using a chair just in case. Overall, it was a decent stay. Thank you for taking care of me, Orchid Garden Suites!

Location: easy to spot, just in front of Century Park Hotel. Kind of away from cheap options for food like fastfood or cheaper dine-in options while some 7/11s are a few blocks away. (3/5) Interior/Exterior: definitely a product of artdeco architecture. Some of its interiors especially the hallways, reception and restos retained the classic atmosphere such as furnitures, tiles, ceilings, lighting etc. Exteriors are fully scaed with plants and trees which is a plus for the exteriors. (4/5) Booking: easily booked for reservation on their website. All things mentioned on the rooms may not be working properly on-site. Had a very early booking for a twin room, unfortunately, upon checking-in, we were told that only queen size bed for the twin room is the only option left due to the 'fully-booked' policy. There should be an option of queen-size bed or 2 twin-size bed room on the booking website. (1/5) Amenities: Has only few options to go around the hotel such as the mini-swimming pool, resto & cafe. Unfortunately, the roof garden is reserved for penthouse room guests only. Free breakfast is great, not a lot of options but just right to make you full in the morning. (3/5) Service: frontdesk are accomodating, however, they may forget about you after making you wait. They tend to your request but of course, not all but, everything may come at a price. Employees greets you everytime. (3.7/5) Room: thoroughly cleaned and air conditioned. Everything worked except the TV, wifi is too slow and sometimes might not work at all. Only 1 chair provided for a 2-person room. Safe is available but rentable (not mentioned at the website). Toilets and baath works just fine. View is excellent (we stayed at the last floor), unfortunately a balcony would have been better, not just a wide picture window. AC is too noisy. (3/5) Overall: not a cheap option for hotels in Pasay, but, not sure if coming back after the denial of request to have a twin-bed room (2-bed). Take note not all 2-person booking are partners, some may just be acquaintances or travel buddies. (3/5)

The Orchid Garden Suites in Malate provides a truly unique experience. The building is a time capsule, with its 1930s architecture and a quiet, almost stately presence that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a different era. It’s surrounded by lush greenery, which gives it a secluded atmosphere, like you’ve stumbled into a hidden corner of Manila. The staff were consistently warm and polite. However, I couldn’t help but notice my room wasn’t cleaned once during my three-day stay. It is a place of charming inconsistencies, where old-world grace exists alongside a few overlooked details. If you are here for the ambiance and do not mind the absence of daily housekeeping, it is worth a stay.

Not your typical defibition of best hotwl BUT for our family, this is the best in the metro. It's the only one we went back for 2nd time on all of hitels we stayed with. During our last stay though, a gov't agency party held last Dec 2024 when we came back was a bit noisy from our Double Room. However, no worries as the staff informed us in advance.

My initial encounter with the staff was friendly and accommodating, which I appreciated. However, during our breakfast buffet, three of us were denied entry because we were wearing "sandos." We complied and changed our attire, but later noticed that two guests inside the buffet area were also wearing sandos and were not approached. When we asked for clarification, we were told that "spaghetti strap sandos" are not allowed, but some types of sandos are acceptable. This was very confusing. To add to the frustration, the staff said they could not do anything about the other guests already inside because they had already been allowed entry. The inconsistency in enforcing the dress code was disappointing and unfair. As we were leaving—just a meter or two away from the buffet area—my attention was called as if I was walking out without paying. It was an embarrassing moment that left a negative impression. I later found out the staff involved were OJTs/interns, which may explain the handling, but it doesn't excuse how the situation made us feel. I lost my appetite and felt uncomfortable throughout. Sadly, this experience is what we’ll remember most about our stay.

Yelp
Staffs were welcoming, hospitable and polite. Rated 4 star since hotel has the vibe of a 80-90's luxury hotel and as time goes by the room ages are shown by multiple fading of paint, dent marks and the vibes of an old holtel.

Yelp
Stayed here for a layover complimentary from Philippine Airlines since we missed our connecting flight (There was 2 full buses of passengers). Aside from the free rooms, we also got free breakfast buffets! The flight attendant said that this was a 5 star hotel, but I thought otherwise. It was a medium sized hotel with sufficient amenities. However it was a smoke friendly hotel. The halls were lingering of the smoke and it was horrible. The shower water didn't go hot even after waiting couple of minutes for it to change temperatures. Other than that the breakfast buffet was great! Almost better than some breakfast buffets I had in Las Vegas! Plus it was way cheaper if you convert the Pesos to USD. The staff at the hotel were accommodating and welcoming. The location is great too. Near the Mall of Asia! For a one night stay, overall it was okay. It beats staying at the airport overnight.

Yelp
The staffs are the best. Bell service is phenomenal. Check in staffs are great, the check in was so fast, they're courteous. The hotel is under construction on some parts, clean and organized, nevertheless.

Yelp
This is where my bother stayed all 4 weekends of November for his Bar Exam. I stayed with him to be his human clock and to make sure that he was studying! The staff were very accommodating and fast and the rooms were very spacious. They gave us a room with the pool view and a veranda that is permanently locked (which I guess was for our safety). Although the room seems a bit aged, the rooms we stayed in were comfortable. Air-conditioning was very cold, we had a comfortable bed and a flat screen TV with cable. If you're staying here, make sure to book in the newly renovated floors (the front desk will let you know). They're a bit pricier, but the price difference is well-worth the convenience and updated room amenities (aka the bathroom). I also asked for a late check out and it was granted every time. The only downside is the area behind the hotel (Harrison Plaza parking lot). It's a bit unsafe to walk there during the night because there are people squating there. Guests can park for free, though. The hotel is in a very good location if you plan to stay in the heart of Manila. :)
