Orchid Guest House

Stayed her for 1 night. Good comfy bed. Nice staff. Good looking place. Clean Thin walls so you can hear a lot going on in the neighbouring rooms. Only 1 bathroom (that I'm aware off) that might get busy in busy times.

An amazing stay! The place was homely, Fran was very welcoming and kind and the beds were comfy. To top things off, the guest house is in a perfect location, around the corner from the city, the strand and castle hill!

Just staid there for three nights, cozy place with all you need for a stay. I had a single room and this room contained a small tv and air conditioner. Washing / WIFI is for free. Fran is a friendly owner / host and nice to chat with, would stay there again.

Only a stones throw from everything. Clean, comfortable, safe and the best bed I have ever slept in. Fran your hostess was so obliging and went out of her way to accommodate anything and everything and made our stay more than enjoyable. I highly recommend this this venue.

Low end budget. Staff wandered into our private room 30 minutes before checkout and asked to strip the bed. No apology. Sent her packing and told her to wait until 10am and we've vacated the room.

Stayed in the 2 bedroom, 4 bed, self-contained flat for 2 weeks. It is quaint and comfortable. Fran is an absolute sweetheart and very helpful. Highly recommend if looking for somewhere affordable and in the city.

Thank you Fran for the great stay! The rooms are small but they have everything you need (we even had a fridge!) Perfect for a couple of days, be sure to checkout magnetic island while you are here! Cheers Josh

Inexpensive but clean... UPDATE My partner is a frequent visitor here and I stay too, when I can... Last night, Fran provided a fantastic Christmas Dinner for her guests... I can't thank you enough for your generosity, it made a wonderful day even better... Merry Christmas Fran... x Renee
