I’ve placed an order of 2 Red Bulls and 1 cut fries @ 7:03 pm but I kept waiting until 7:20 and still wasn’t ready When I confronted them, they gave my fries to someone else’s order. Lady in the kitchen acted like manager and saying that she cooked the fries, but I didn’t get it. they don’t like to answer with attitude. I asked for refund and one of the employees said I’ve to wait 5 to 10 mins for supervisor to issue a refund . Same lady in the kitchen was asking for my ID in order to get refund. Finally I got my refund at 7:26. Manager asked me if everything is okay I told him the time that I had been waiting. They don’t greet at all. So bad attitude. Only one guy in the kitchen was nice last time other than that they all have bad attitude. Mannerless.

Last night I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was absolutely awful. Heavily over seasoned with black pepper and a HARD coating you couldn’t even bite through. I tried my best to remove it. The coleslaw was just nasty. There has to be a way for you to serve a decent chicken sandwich. It’s not hard. Even the fast food ones were better than this.

I ordered from The Orchid kitchen last night I ordered wings and onion rings it cost $24. I changed to my room ok I stood there 15 minutes I noticed everyone getting their food and everyone who ordered around the time I ordered was gone so I’m standing there watching I see them preparing wings and onion ring so I’m looking to see when mine is coming up. I never see my order so after the 15 minutes i speak to someone they say they never got my ticket so she said I have to wait. I’m very observant so still standing their watching and they people working there did not care still taking there time put my order to the back. So I’m still waiting finally I see onion rings sit there like 10 minutes so I say something again and the guy say they don’t have a ticket I have to wait so I wait I see wings sit there for 5 minutes and finally he start to bag my food and I ask for the manager who’s name is Amanda I go talk to her. This lady says there’s nothing she can do but give me a dessert and she said what kind of dessert I want. I told her I don’t want know dessert. This lady did not apologize she just said they where busy . I stood there and watched every minute that I waited for my food I could see what was going on. And a free dessert should not have been my option. Never mind that a person could be dieting or diabetic. Someone need to talk to Amanda and the whole crew about customer service. Terrible experience! I placed my order on the kiosk. And the guy calling out order numbers never called my number. After 30 minutes and everyone after me getting their food, I went to ask about my order. It was sitting on the ledge getting cold. No apologize was given. When I checked my food, it was incorrect. I order fries for one person and a burger for someone else. They place the fries and burger in one container. When I mentioned about them being ordered separately. Amanda expressed that they could place the fries in a separate container. The fries were an extremely small amount for $6. I believe if they had cooked them like I ordered them, it would have been a larger amount. When I came back for my refund, Amanda who was the manager looked at me and walked in the other direction towards the brick oven to remove the empty pizza spatula from the oven as if she was busy and didn't see me. They get 2 stars because they did give me a refund. I would never order from here again and would not recommend it to anyone else.

A little bit of a wait but we ordered a whole pizza and it came out hot, cheesy and delicious. Staff were nice and accommodating since they initially said they couldn’t make a pizza, but then the guy said he would do it. It’s very good pizza!

Hi on 9/3/2025 I very disappointed with the service I am a 65 year older lady after purchasing my food I ask two servers can they clean table. No one never came to clean table I went counter a server hand me some baby wipe to clean the table myself. I actually switch table twice hoping that next would be clean. One of server mentions that worker that supposed to clean table did notcome the work. I drove one hour to come enjoy my self at MD Live staff was all standing behind the counter.

Besides having to wait for a long time for your food , when you get it becareful you can get moldy bread. That's what they gave me on my $15 burger. The casino management didn't even bather to call me to see if I had gotten sick. Service is rude and low class. Hope they don't wind up killing someone with the food they Serve.

The food is mediocre, which I can tolerate, but I don't understand how they manage to take 20 minutes to serve me a piece of pizza that's already made and sitting out on the counter (even on a slow day).

Came here for a snack mid-slot machine pulling! The Orchid Kitchen offers food items such as fries, hot sandwiches, tacos, pizza, salads, desserts, and drinks, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic (i.e., beer). We went to the self-serve kiosk to place our order: fries and chicken tenders (sold separately) along with a soda and beer. When I tell you our order came to around $35, that is no joke! You are somewhat of a captive audience while there and although there are fast food places in the area outside the casino and also in Arundel Mills Mall, the convenience of getting a bite here seems like the option for folks who are here to gamble so they can quickly get back to the action. (Note: They are a cashless system only and you can use your player card points if you have them). There were plenty of tables to sit at and you can also get your food to go. Our number was called and we got our food. The fries and chicken tenders were hot, fresh, and good. Our soda and beer were cold. They had staff clearing tables as they became vacant as well. All in all a nice, but not cheap quick serve food option (I used my slot winnings!) while here in the casino.

So I had some comps to use and arrived hungry to the casino. Prices were high ($14 for the burger lol and $20 total with fries and a drink) but not unexpected at a Casino. All the food was very tasty though and I was not upset. Wouldn't eat here without comps but I was happy with my meal and ready to play some slots!

The Orchid Kitchen is the best,they have good food and the service of their servers are outstanding, especially one server named Nathan Stokes .I really appreciate and enjoyed all of their service.

I would like to say Dwight Davis at the Orchid provided excellent customer service. He cooked my food to perfection. Dwight had a positive,upbeat and witty personality despite being early in the morning. I like to give kudos for a job well done!!

I just want to say that I received the best customer service from Manager, Nicholas Walsh. I was very upset because my chicken wings were cooked very well, making them hard and dry! I couldn't stay and wait for a new batch because my AAA driver had come. The Manager on duty at that time was Adrian. Adrian told me to come back to see him and he would have them remade for me. I went back on 3 different occasions and no Adrian because he only work over night. This was a very frustrating series of events as all the other Managers were just passing the buck and not helping me! They made me feel like I was a liar trying to get 16 free wings! But I thank God for Nicholas! After explaining all I went through, he took accountability, apologized, remade my wings himself, and served them to me! Before my interaction with Nicolas I made up my mind that I would NEVER buy food from the Orchid Kitchen again!!! But because of the impeccable service I received from Nicholas, I decided to give them another chance. Nicholas if you ever read this review, I just want to say THANK YOU once more for your kindness, understanding, and attention you gave to my complaint. You truly are the GEM of Orchid Kitchen, and I want you to know I truly appreciate you and all you did to help calm my frustration. You are the reason I took time to write this review. These strips were excellent. You have to order through a terminal so be savvy and have a card for payment. The strips were hot and large in size. A 10 piece and one order of fries is plenty for two people. The staff is energetic and the place was as clean as a restaurant on a casino floor can be. I would have preferred a someone that could clean/ sanitize the tables. $6.75 for a bottle soda so be sure get a fountain drink.

Last resort restaurant. Don't rely on them to get your order right but don't have high expectations. You get what you expect

Service is actually quite pleasant, and they are trying so hard to make their pizza well - you can tell by the fresh ingredients and the very generous amount of cheese they put on their pies and the consistent twists of the outer crust. Unfortunately, their pizza baking execution is a *pure fail* as the incredibly thick way they are constructing their pizzas really requires a standard Bakers Pride type pizza oven instead of the wood-fired style pizza oven they have in their kitchen. I totally understand that they are trying to offer their customers a good value - and at $5/slice you are getting a literal one-pound slice of pizza, but it is served to you severely undercooked, uncharred, and devoid of flavor. Basically raw. And even asking for it well-done won't get it where you need it to be. The why the hell then did I just order two whole Vegetarian pizzas ($23/each) with extra sauce? I had an idea. I was inspired, and came up with a plan. I took these huge undercooked beasts straight home and began experimenting - and I discovered a technique that turns these par-baked and inedible pizzas into I dare say, Detroit-style pizza greatness? At home I would place two slices on some foil on the top rack under the broiler until the cheese started to actually brown, then I would cut off the now-burnt outer crust edge and pan sear the bottom crust for 4 or 5 minutes in a non-stick skillet. The result? Handheld Detroit-style pizza with crispy slightly-burnt cheesy edges and a crispy bottom crust. (See picture below.) A total transformation. Thanks, Orchid Kitchen, for doing half of the work for me! 1-star for the pizza as it comes from Orchid, but +2 stars for what you can do with it! Go Blue!

Mehhh. I came here last night only because I had a $15 food credit so I decided to order their double crabcakes platter for dinner. Since it's an "express" Phillips, you order your food and wait for your number to be called. The food is served in a carryout box--but there are tables nearby where you can sit down and eat. The crabcakes were disappointingly small--tasted mediocre, but the waffle fries that came with it were decent. I did not like the tartare sauce--it tasted awful--overloaded with too much relish and onions! The staff are not friendly at all--I felt some attitude from the cashier. At one point, I came up to the counter to ask for something--was ignored, while two staff were chatting it up. The service here definitely needs some improvement.

This is a sad excuse for a Phillips seafood. I don't care if it is packed to go. The prices they charge is outrageous compared to what you get. I ordered a double crabcake platter. It came with one side. Ok maybe 1 1/2. The size of the red beans and rice was a small soupy Bowl. The coleslaw was the size to feed a kid. I mean it basically was in a sample container. It was just ok. The two small crabcakes you get is ridiculous! I paid $38.00 For this. G & M put them to shame. You also will get a nice size crabcake with two actual side dishes. Trust me you would have leftovers with them but not this place. I had to find something else at home to eat to help me get full. Oh and it comes with no bun. What a joke. Phillips you ought to be ashamed of yourself. Charging those prices for that itty bitty meal. The crabcake itself didn't taste bad but l still was disappointed. Ok this is definitely on my done list!

Ok There are a lot of places out there for fish and an certainly this stands out as looking good. Wow was I taken in. the staff didn't really seem to care an attitude seeped into their posture that seemed to declare 'yeah, I'm here, whatever' to the world. Not something that encourages you but I thought let's see what the food is like? What it's like is doughy, with a thick batter obscuring any taste or texture of the fish hidden inside the mass. I've had tastier seafood from a box of Gorton's fish sticks cooked in my own kitchen for far less money.

Do not eat here as the service is terrible. I placed an order (Steak Quesadilla, steak Nachos, slice of Meat lover's pizza and a soda). As I waited for my food, I noticed at six or seven people who ordered after me pick-up their food from the Latin grill. Wait a minute, why are they receiving their food before me. Note: Fifteen minutes has passed since I ordered. I when to the pickup area near the Latin grill to inquire about my order. I was told by the Jasmin, the person who was responsible for ensuring the order are completed and notifying the customer that my order was not finished. I went back to my seat me again. Five minutes later, I went back to the pickup area to ask about my order. She stated that they, yes they, had given my order to someone else. Really!!! She will make what you ordered again. Five later, I returned to the pickup area, I noticed the Latin grill staff was cleaning up. I waved at Jasmin to get her attention. She came over and I asked her about my order as it appears the staff is cleaning up. She checked the finished orders but food was not there. She then had a conversation with the cook/chef...The Latin grill is closed. What about my food you promised? Sorry do you want something else or I can give your money or comps back. What about your words that my food is being made? What about the thirty minute wait time for a slice of cold pizza? I want my comps back. Pitiful, Pitiful, Pitiful!!! Note: THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I DID NOT RECEIVE MY ORDER FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT THIS YEAR. I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN!!!

Sold cold pizza and would not reheat bad service don't go here, it was not edible once cold so waste of money

The best crab cakes I've ever had. Gluten free, too! Charming location, friendly staff, local hangout... this place has it all!

Overpriced and made me miss the old original Phillips. Shrimp is the same that you find for sale in every standard supermarket frozen section. I expected much better. Waffle fries are tasteless hunks of processed potato. No hint of old bay anywhere. I mean come on wtf. Chain or not could be much much better and more imaginative.

So, I gave this place the benefit of a doubt and tried it anyway. Fail! I read a review that the "Pretzels with Crab Dip" tasted more like "a lot of cream cheese with just barely a hint of crab/flavor" and that review was very accurate! I was hoping that that review was just an off day for the dip. Nope, same experience for me - I do give a star for the pretzels; those were good. BUT the main thing I came for, the crab dip, sheesh! I could dip soft pretzels in cream cheese at home for a fraction of the price! Nine dollars, never again. Try at your own risk; read the other reviews.

Horrible. 10:45 on a Monday morning with just one person ahead of me took ten minutes to be waited on and another fifteen minutes to receive food. Only two employees working and neither seemed knowledgeable. For $25, I bought the "premium" crab cake and shrimp platter with red beans and rice. The cashier then walked over to the freezer, pulled out a pre-made cake ball, squished it flat, then popped it in the microwave. She went back to the freezer grabbed 5 shrimp and popped them in the fryer. Red beans and rice were pre-mixed and pre-made in to-go bowls, pulled out from a cabinet and popped in microwave. This all went in a cardboard box with a pre-made tiny slaw bowl and a lemon wedge... ya know... for a pop of freshness. Absolutely nothing premium about this food. It was gutter trash which i couldn't tolerate and threw away. Should have just popped that $25 in a slot machine and ate a napkin. Please, if you're reading this, do not go here.

This review is for the Phillips at the Live Casino. Standing in line for 2 minutes (NO ONE ELSE WAS IN LINE) at with 3 useless employees lazing around the cash register, I ordered a Crab Cake Sandwich for $20, to go. When I got back to the office (a 15 minute drive), I open the to-go box, and there is a super greasy steak sub type of thing, which I promptly throw away. This is the second time they've screwed up my to-go order at Phillips, so you couldn't pay me to try this place again. Bad service and screw-ups = 1 star. If I could have given a "0", I would have.

Another poor example of Maryland Seafood. Waited in line an hour. Staff understaffed and helpless. Why don't they use tablets to take your order?! Considering that the line crawls around the entire casino. This is not a 5 star restaurant so what is the hold up?! Not to mention the casino in good faith tries to give people vouchers which in turn makes the line even longer. Just a hot damn mess. Avoid location and establishment as you will have to wait about 50 years before getting your food.

Philips at Live! Casino is a counter service fried seafood place. I expected prices to be high because its in a casino. But I at least expected some element of quality. We waited 1/2 hour for our food, only To be served tiny portions of cold AND burnt food. How does that happen? I immediately turned around and asked for a refund. This took another 15 minutes before the manager showed up. No apologies or nothing; just indifference. I am incredibly disappointed with this place and will not ever return.

I was MORTIFIED. I ordered the fish sandwiche and fries and the meal was PUTRID. The fish was old, dry and rubbery and tasted like it had been sitting out and it wasn't even hot. I was thourouly disappointed. My first time ever trying Phillips and I will NEVER return.

Just bought a slice of veggie pizza waited 10 min for my waffle fries to come out by that time pizza was cold asked for another one cashier was rude about it. And never asked for my live card.but other members were asked.ate the pizza worst pizza ever it was soggy. 7/11 has better pizza than what this place is selling. Very disappointed in this establishment. The waffle fries were bomb doe!

Well if you have lived in Maryland you should know what a good crabcake taste like. Phillips has been in Maryland for nearly 50 years making a name for itself as one of the best crabcake in town but DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS FROZEN CRABCAKE. Just take a look at their story " holding fast to these simple principles: serve the freshest, finest seafood available, provide outstanding service, and create a memorable dining experience for our guests". Crabcake isn't fresh, service is horrible don't waste your time.

I should give it one star. But it's Phillip's I will give it two. First I tell that I been going to Phillip's along time. My first Phillip's is Phillip's By The Sea at Ocean City MD on the boardwalk. Loved it. second was Phillip's crab house on the coastal hwy at Ocean City as well at MD. All you can eat followed and gotten better. Baltimore also Washington, DC Don't go to Washington DC it's for the towers. Fast and easy not quality. Here my review. This Phillip's is limited. Very limited. Only crab cakes. Some time they have crab soup. Crab cake over cooked. No real eggs. Drink in the bottle. restroom in the casino. Not a lot of space. Clam chowder was good. Only get the soup. If you want Phillip's. stopped in here while in the casino, and as always there crab-cakes were on point.... everything else tasted like salt. if your looking for a good crab-cake this is a good spot.

Worst meal and service ever. Microwaved dry and broken off burger with something burnt on the bread. Server stated she was tired and had a long day. Didn't want to be there. Dropped off food and drink without a single word from her mouth

Ordered crab cakes - had to return them. My first thought was, "wow, that's a small portion for the price." Then I tasted them and thought, "thank god, they're small!" They tasted like they had been frozen for a year and then cooked in axle grease. It took a real effort to get that taste out of my mouth. On the other hand, the counter service staff was nice enough and tried hard to find a manager to do the refund. The fact that it took almost ten minutes to find a manager was not her fault. Will not be eating here again.

Excited to eat at Phillips because of the name. Not so excited because it's inside the casino. Ordered the cream of crab soup and 2 filet sandwiches, hush puppies and fries. Took longer to get our food specially when they're not to busy. The food was OK. You can't really mess up deep fried. This place is wayyy safer to eat at that the live buffet.

I usually have salmon once a week and this pick for preparation was just a "okay" type of meal. You can compare it to the Chili's version without the high concentration of salt. Taste was bland. If you like Pappadeaux's salmon you'll thing this is cutting it easy short. Good antosphere and courteous staff.

Decided I would get the Crabcake platter and my wife the mini crabs. When I got to my truck I opened up the box and inside was this ONE tiny crabcake. with hushpuppies. Her mini crabcakes were about as big as my ONE crabcake. I thought for sure the platter included TWO crabcakes.

if I could give zero stars I would hell, if i could give negative stars I would. Worse dinning experience ever! First we had no idea that this was an "Express" Phillips set up. So less than half of the menu, a trashy looking seating area and way below sub par staff! I mean McDonalds would have been better at this point. The food was horrible! The service was worse than the food. The staff eventually handed us our food which consisted of box meals, no utensils, no condiments but plenty of attitude. For a casino setting this place is garbage! For Phillips image, they should just re-name this Long John Silvers and keep it moving. If you were looking for The Phillips Standard of food and service then don't attempt this ride!

DONT EAT HERE. The hushpuppies are like burnt bullets, the food is all freezer to fryer, and the employee's are ridiculous.

Don't expect a lot from here. Service isn't subpar of course they are express . They just order and call your number. Don't expect food to be good . Crab cake sandwich meat is small but it's good because bread is soft . One time I had hush puppies it was hard as a rock! And some cashiers look like they hate working here . One lady seems so dull I don't even know if she's the manager , she seems rude , if she is new manager is needed! But their coleslaw is good.

The service & quality of food at this cafeteria style Phillips Seafood restaurant absolutely stinks. It's located towards the very back of the Live Casino in Anne Arundel. I ordered the Cod sandwich with Waffle fries. The sandwich was extremely greasy & tasteless. The waffle fries had the consistency of Rubber. I waited approx. 15 minutes for my meal & I was one of the lucky ones. One lady waited at least 30 minutes for her Chili Dog. Don't bother wasting your money. The Bobby Flays Burger Palace is a much better alternative @ Live.

Awful service. Three of us ordered one right after the other and we had a 15 minute wait between each person getting their food. Everyone ate their food by themselves while the other two waited. The staff clearly does not give two craps about four craps. The food itself was okay but super overpriced. $18 for some from-the-carton scrambled eggs, fried previously frozen potatoes, and the smallest crabcake I've had in Maryland. They also have no idea how to toast bread. I've been to the inner harbor Phillips and you would never think that this was owned by the same company. Additionally, this is poor food for a casino as well, which usually have decent restaurants.

I can't believe that Phillip's would allow the quality of their food be this bad. For the price you pay, the food should be top notched. But it isn't. The portiions you get are kid meal size. Will not be eating there ever again.

The food was not worth the price. The best food on the menu was the blue crab soup. The crab soup was delicious. I would suggest ordering the crab soup ( $7.00) and going next door to the deli for a sandwich. My mom ordered the crab cake and shrimp ($26.00) and the crab cake had 10% crab and 90% breaded. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish tasted like fish sticks from Giants. Avoid this place because it's not like the ordinary Philips that you are use to going to.

Hard to believe this is actually part of the famous Maryland seafood chain. This is terrible, overcooked, freezer burnt food. The staff is clueless. Avoid this place.

Last time in this years summer I thought it was not mediocre I thought it was rather tasty yes there small and stuff but decoration was nice staff was so extremely nice it's a good restaurant

Downright terrible. This place is an awful excuse for a maryland seafood restaurant. The crab pretzel was a soft pretzel with cream cheese - barely a hint of crab in the dip. At least throw some Old Bay on it or something! And the crab cakes are embarrassing. People from out of town must wonder what all the fuss is about when they try a crab cake here. Thank God it was free, or I would have been pissed.

The most disgusting seafood I have ever eaten in my life. I can't believe the casino allows such food to be sold. You might as well purchase frozen seafood from a dollar store and microwave that and sell it. I can't believe Phillips Seafood is even in business selling this kind of food.

Their crab cakes and red beans & rice were good. The service was okay. It was inside the casino do I was expecting something a little more upscale, but it wasn't.

Eat anywhere else but at this Phillips! The food court in the mall is better than this! First off, I am a phillips rewards member, and this particular phillips will not accept a rewards card...Interesting. Ordered something simple, at least I thought...order was screwed up, but we didn't know until we got back to our hotel since it was to go. crab cakes were horrible! Frozen grocery store is better! Hush puppies were not very good either, in fact, the pizza was the best part. That's sad! I will never go back to this phillips ever! Right next to it is the buffet, depending on what day and time you are there, you can get the buffet for 5 dollars more than a meal at phillips anyway! and it's all you can eat and the buffet is worth it!!!

This is a casual dining restaurant inside the Maryland Live casino. The place was packed when we came here late one weeknight. Despite being so busy, the line moved quickly and the employees were very kind. The food was hot and delicious , as to be expected at Phillips. I like to order the crab cakes and hush puppies whenever I come here. Two thumbs up!!!

For somewhat fast food stop inside the casino, try what's in their small menu. Phillips is known for its crab cake. I had the sandwich and I finished it in quick bites.
