Visiting in early September tourists take a shuttle bus from Torla as cars are not permitted but the bus is cheap and frequent. After summer cars are allowed. The valley is really a deep canyon with spectacular steep craggy sides. The track rises 400m beside the river Arazas in 6km so is steep in places but mainly easy going. The river has many spectacular waterfalls. Finally a large alpine meadow is reached below monte Perdido and the circue de Soaso. Lovely place, no toilets, dogs allowed on leads.

The park is only accessible by bus, not by bicycle. What a disappointment. I’m absolutely not the type to visit a national park driving through sitting in a bus. Feels much more like a tourist attraction.

A 6⭐️ mountain valley, indeed! It cannot get any more beautiful than the vibrant colors and sheer mountain tops of the Ordesa Valley, the Faja de las Flores hiking trail, Monte Perdido above and blue river below. Ordesa will stay in my heart. Keep it clean and preserve this stunning beauty of nature.

Fantastic park. This is one of my all time favourite walks especially at this time of the year (October) with all the beautiful autumn colours. Free car park, toilets and well sign posted. I walked the 6 miles up hill to the end of the valley to the final waterfall and it took me 3 hours as I kept stopping to take pictures and look at 4 waterfalls on the way up. It did rain when I git to the valley but I was able to shelter from the rain in a little hut whilst I ate my sandwich. It also took me 3 hours to come down as I was in no hurry and took a slightly different path on the other side of the river fir the last 2 miles. I highly recommend this walk but do take good boots warm clothes gloves and food and drink. I am fit and often do 10 to 15 mile walks but if you are not that fit just do what you can and enjoy.

Avoid this place in the summer if you like your mountains peaceful. There were hundreds of cars parked in the car park in Torla, with big coaches bussing people to the trailhead. I'm sure it's a nice valley but it's just totally overrun. Plenty of other nice places nearby. We did a lovely hike near Broto instead and only saw 2 people in 6 hours.
