Google
For those who have seen movies filmed in Astoria, this place might offer a nostalgic trip down memory lane and a unique chance to experience a film set firsthand. Honestly, however, it didn't leave much of an impression on me. Nevertheless, as mentioned above, I am introducing this Oregon city because it has served as a location for numerous films set against its natural backdrops. For international tourists pressed for time, this is a spot you can afford to skip.

Michael B.

Google
Very small museum but we'll worth the stop if you like the movie Goonies. The place itself is where a part of the movie was filmed and is located near several other places where scenes of the movie was filmed... including the house. The museum has several actual props from the movie inside the museum and the vehicle used in the movies with bulletholes and everything.

Google
Heeeÿyyyyyyyyy you guuuuuys! Goonies never say die!! Im a Goonie. Its one of the main reasons i moved to Oregon. I wanted to explore, adventure, and eat BabyRuth. The reviews are valid, this place is super small. We took our time at the movie production exhibit. It was a week day so no crowds. We enjoyed ourselves. If I won the lottery, I'd buy the museum and Mikey's house up the hill and turn that into a measum as well. Its in a residential area so idk how feasible that is.

Chanda M.

Google
I expected more it looked so big and then there was hardly anything to see. It was hard to move around inside because the spaces are all tiny. They did have some cool Goonies memorabilia and this is where they filmed the jail scenes. They did have a few other movies highlighted but not enough to call it the Oregon Film Museum.

Anabel P.

Google
Nice museum. There's the jail from the movie the Gonnies and there's another area for you to have fun playing/acting in different movie film setups, you can forward the recordings to your email when you finish. You can also purchase a bundle ticket for Film museum, Heritage museum and the Flavel House at a very affordable price

Google
It's totally worth visiting! It is small tho, quick stop but worth it if you're a goonies fan or really just a fan of film. The film a scene option is really cool and fun. Great place! Knowledge staff.

Jeri Y.

Google
Pretty cool for Goonie fans. Go see the house then come here. It's small but a lot inside. Can tape your own scenes like you were in the movie then save them.

Jessica M.

Google
Great piece of film history. Easily located in Astoria. Good parking. Many of things to do within walking distance. The Flavel house is across the street to explore as well as many museums and other sites to see.

Jim G.

Yelp
It is very small. But I really enjoyed it. I loved the jail cells. They were so tiny. I wanted a Goonies skull and crossbones flag, but they were sold out again. I did get a t shirt and some magnets. There are 5 museums in Astoria. I would rate this one as number 3 to visit.

Yelp
This was our second time at the OFM. It's location was a long-ago jail, used as a shooting location in 1985's "Goonies," and currently houses a museum dedicated to the history of Hollywood productions that were filmed at least partially in Oregon, although it is largely dedicated to "The Goonies," and is a pilgrimage site for fans. Besides the exterior, they have a (fairly inauthentic) reproduction of the Fratelli's Jeep in the lot, and of course the jail cell inside, and a collection of various collectables, authentic props, and reproductions from Goonies as well as a few other films. There is also a "film studio," where you can make up to five scenes from a list of provided scripts or you can improvise. You get a QR code to save and send out the finished film. It's pretty cool, actually. Here's the bad: This is a county jail from 1914 Astoria. It is...not a large space. Depending on the day, it can be crowded. Like, hard to move crowded. Anxiety-inducing crowded. Give up without seeing everything crowded. But you can take your Goonies photos and learn a little for $6/adult $2/child as of 12/27/25. Not too shabby. There is also a gift shop with some pretty cool merch and even Baby Ruth bars. ***In other area movie news, the school from "Kindergarten Cop," other sites from Goonies, and "Short Circuit" are in town, among others. But you probably new all that.***

Yelp
Experience was a little disappointing, there didn't seem to be much movie memorabilia (compared to some of the older pictures posted - maybe?). The big thing they had was a room to make your own movie scene on a green screen? Didn't get it, didn't do it. Also, they only allow so many people in the museum at one time, so we had to wait a bit - which was fine, and thank goodness the museum is as small as it is, otherwise you'd be waiting awhile. Saving grace was the gift shop; we didn't really stop in any other gift shops in Astoria for Goonies stuff, but they had a good selection at the museum. You can do a bundle discount package with this museum, the Flavel House (recommend), and the Heritage Museum (I believe)

Yelp
I didn't super love the Oregon Film Museum. It felt more like the Goonies museum, which I understand, but I wish it had more from other films! It's located in the old jail house from Goonies, which was a really cool setting. That being said, the inside is super cramped!! There are essentially two hallways and each one has a dead end, so you have to turn back around. There is a room where you and your party can film scenes from Oregon films. That part was very neat! You get emailed your films afterwards.
google avatar

Bijana K.

Yelp
The Oregon Film museum is located in the old jail and was the location for filming the jail house scenes in the Goonies. It's a great use of this classic space, but it is pretty small. Astoria is a small town, so it's relative. For me, it was worth it to view the space and the memorabilia they have of not just the Goonies but other Oregon filmed titles. The most fun was that they have some sets where you can make mini-movies of yourself. I'm an embarrassingly bad actress, so those shorts will never see the light of day, but it was fun doing it and even more fun watching other people act out scenes from Goonies, Kindergarden Cop, the Shining and Point Break. The entry fee is in alignment with the size and options you have in the museum - I wouldn't miss this if your in Astoria for a one time visit and do recommend the triple ticket to see Flavel House and the Historic Museum.

Yelp
The Oregon Film Museum and the town of Astoria is home to the 1980's movie classic, The Goonies. Plenty of scenes were filmed around Astoria and it's here at the museum where they have preserved moments and keepsakes from it all. Approaching the museum (for me) was like this reflection in time. My childhood was The Goonies. I was 6 years old when the film premiered. There's an affection I have for it that's irreplaceable. So showing up in Astoria, Oregon for the first time 40 years from the 1985 release had me emotional. Hard to put into words, but I was feeling giddy in the moment. This Oregon Film Museum was actually a real jail from 1914 - 1976. The opening scene of The Goonies took place right inside where one of the Fratelli Brothers escapes jail. Of course with the escape, the vintage Fratelli's jeep they drove away in and raced down the shores of Cannon Beach sits right outside the museum!!! Who doesn't remember the jeep? It's such a nostalgic feeling, sort of reliving and conjuring up many memories. The museum is extremely small and an absolute throwback in time. The museum is so tiny it can get claustrophobic in a way. A visit can take 15 - 20 minutes. But for those diehard Goonies fanatics out there, you can spend longer. It's $6 entrance fee. Hours are 10am - 5pm daily. The museum does briefly highlight other popular films that were shot in Oregon. For example...Animal House, Kindergarten Cop, Free Willy and The Shining. But 2/3rds of the museum is dedicated to The Goonies. The other 1/3rd part are film sets where visitors can reenact scenes from timeless films. They have a unique gift shop with everything dedicated to The Goonies and the town of Astoria. I bought a Goonies t-shirt for $25. Lastly, you can sit inside the jail cell where the Fratelli brother escaped including the actual props from him faking his own hanging. There's a cell where One Eyed Willie is guarding his treasures. They have cutout cardboards of the cast and the actual crew call sheet. One other thing, just to lower people's expectations...I wouldn't expect much out of the visit. The museum is old and dinky. Because it's so small, it can get crowded quickly. It's not your typical museum, but if you're a fan of cinema, you won't mind the conditions. They've preserved things as much as possible and I appreciated that. Some people may say it needs updating and it's too small and boring, but I embraced it all. Maybe I was a little biased because of my heartfelt feelings towards the movie, but this Oregon Film Museum is a rarity these days. You won't find anything like it. From here at the museum, it's only fitting you drive a few miles down the road and continue The Goonies adventure getting to walk up and see the Walsh's home where Mikey and Brandon lived. They allow you to do it though you can't enter inside. But, the scenes from the Walsh's house were iconic. It's where they discovered the treasure map in the attic all while Chunk "truffle shuffled" his way into America's hearts.
google avatar

Veronica S.

Yelp
Interesting and cool but tiny!!! This little micro museum does however house some cool items, what's more it's a historic building with a film prop car right in front... what's not to love?
google avatar

Helen C.

Yelp
Very small. Not really a museum. Supposed to be some interactive filming opportunities but they weren't working very well. Take a picture of the outside and skip it.
google avatar

Kim R.

Yelp
Quite underwhelming if I'm being honest. We planned to tour the Flavel House but opted to purchase the combo ticket to all 3 museums. It's certainly not an expensive tour, and I wasn't sure what to expect as I'd only ever seen the building from the outside, but goodness it's small. We couldn't even enter the lobby when a family was paying at the counter. Beyond the lobby and little store there's only 3 rooms. And the rooms, with different movie pieces and film equipment, are quite tight. We were inside for 5-10 minutes total. There were 3 groups inside and we couldn't enter or exit any room without squeezing past. Essentially they give you the opportunity to have yourself recorded using minor props and green screens and email them to yourself before you leave. Since that didn't really appeal to us and things were so tight, we just walked through each room and exited. Good concept though.
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
Meh, underwhelming. A bunch of us Goonies fans stopped in and paid the $6 fee to enter. It's a tiny place and there isn't much to see. The highlight is the jail cell from Goonies, but that's it.
google avatar

Brittany H.

Yelp
A fun time! They have lots of memorabilia & gifts from the Goonies & other famous movies filmed in Oregon. For $12 entry, this museum has lots of photo ops & fun exhibits that are hands on & interesting. An easy museum to get to & worth checking out.
google avatar

Jose M.

Yelp
Not enough to see, you can walk through it in 5 min or less, I'm a huge Goonie fan I wish they would've had more to offer. It's beautiful town & location, they also offer to see two other historical houses. The house across is a Victorian style home looks haunted, I didn't go in not my thing. I recommend getting the package for the three locations. Not too far from this location is the house where they filmed the Goonies, great place to snap a picture your not really allowed to see the home but you can walk up to it.

Kristine P.

Yelp
It's cramped, area is sketchy, you can film yourself but it's complicated and strange. Please don't waste your time. It smells awful and then there is nothing to do afterwards. 5 minutes we spent there.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
This is such a cool thing to do in Astoria! The museum is inside of a historic jail. When you go in, there are a few rooms with sets where you can film yourselves reenacting scenes from Twilight, the Shining and the Goonies (at least those are the ones we picked to re enact). This museum won't take long to go through, but it is lots of fun! If you are a Goonies fan...you have to come.
google avatar

Rachelle R.

Yelp
One of the main reasons we visited Astoria was to see the Goonies landmarks. This is the county jail from the beginning of the movie as well as the jeep from the movie. The jail cell is where the opening scene was also filmed. I am so glad I got to see a place where such a magical movie was made. I will say if you're not a Goonies fan it's probably not your speed. The museum is pretty small itself. Half is the jail cells while the other half is tiny little sets and you can try to recreate movie scenes. My fiancé and I didn't know what movies most of the sets were even for ‍ (maybe it's our age). Definitely a fun place to go though to feel like your part of a movie you love.
google avatar

Michelle K.

Yelp
Bad, bad, bad. Pitiful! I hate giving bad reviews, but this was horrible!! I don't care it was "only" $6, it was time we wasted that we could have spent elsewhere. It's not a "movie museum" at all! It's alitlte info about the Goonies and Twilight, a couple posters with no info and a green room that is confusing at best to use! I kept thinking we must have missed the museum. They have "scripts" that are for about 15 seconds yet they give you 60-90 serconds to record. It's two tiny rooms with very little to see. If this is all that OR can say about movies filmed there, they should shut the museum down! We thought it would be way better to open more of it as a jail museum and show more of the old jail as well as tell stories of some of the more interesting people that had spent time there. One of, if not the worst "museums" we've ever been to, and we've been to alot.
google avatar

Ericka S.

Yelp
I want to give this 5 stars so bad just for the nostalgia! Goonies is one of my favorite movies, has been since I was in middle school. We made it a point to stop in Astoria during our Oregon road trip, and the jail was our first stop. There was a line right away which confused me at first, it was a Thursday morning in July. Once inside, I realized there is a line because the museum is essentially just 2 rooms in the downstairs of the building. It's still a really cool thing to do, especially because the tickets are very cheap ($6)! There's a mix of Goonies stuff along with quotes and memorabilia from other movies filmed in Astoria. Essentially 1 room is a green screen area you can film in (we didn't do this as we are both camera shy) and then the other room are the jail cells but seen from 2 different sides. They were filled with neat things, and I'm so glad we went, but it was pretty underwhelming. We were in there for probably less than 10 minutes total. The gift shop was neat! I ended up forgetting my hoodie in our airbnb (we were staying in Portland where it was 90 degrees and Astoria was about 60 degrees), so I bought one at the gift shop because I knew I needed to leave with something. I got the green pullover hoodie, and that was about $50, which I think is pretty normal for a gift shop hoodie. If you are a Goonies fan, this is an absolute must-see! Just don't plan on carving out too much time for it.

Yelp
Oregon Film Museum is numero dos for the Goonies tour of Astoria! Of course you have to visit the house first, be respectful, park down the street and quietly walk up and take your pic and hit the road. The museum will be the last stop the way things are laid out unless you're going the other direction. It is small but still a must see. The cell is where the movie starts. Data's complete outfit is here along with some Goonies loot but also other movie memorabilia from films filmed in town. I'm not gonna lie, it's a super cute town! I would film a movie here just to hang out here. There's another room where you can make your own little movies. Some direction would have helped. My family and I were totally lost. No assistance here really. We tried emailing it but we never received the email. What a mess. I thought the merch was cute and overall walking distance from the downtown area. And on that note .... Goonies never say DIE!
google avatar

William H.

Yelp
The Goonies was a favorite movie growing up. It was a dream come true to finally come and see everything throughout a Astoria in Cannon Beach. The museum was simply awesome! The customer service was incredible and educational. Everything still looks exactly the same as it did when they film the movie. Love it! Goonies Never Say Die!
google avatar

Emily J.

Yelp
Four stars, rounded up to five for the inexpensive ($6/adult) and nostalgic adventure provided by this small and mighty Oregon Film Museum. Peruse the Goonies memorabilia, find One-Eyed Willy, and take some time to snap a few photos and/or to film yourself starring in your own version of some well known scenes from a few of the famous movies filmed in Oregon.

Desiree M.

Yelp
Had to come see the famous goonies location. Was very underwhelmed by the size. Glad we bought other tours with it and explored the mansion next door. There's not much to it but hey thankful for the opportunity.
google avatar

Shawn D.

Yelp
Don't mean to be negative here, but I really don't know what this museum is all about. First, it was dirty, with soiled walls, peeling paint, moldy windows, trash etc. I wouldn't call this a true museum in the traditional sense of the word, but rather a persons collection of 80's era Goonies merchandise locked behind a jail cell with plexiglass so you can't even see it all in detail. And more than half of the exhibit is some strange interactive video recording project where you can record yourself in makeshift sets that isn't really Goonies related. So disappointed and confused.
google avatar

Candace W.

Yelp
Cruise port stopped here and it was the only thing open on a Monday morning. It looks cool from the outside but the inside is tiny and can only hold one or two families at a time. The museum itself has some green screens and you can read the lines and film yourselves using an assigned QR code that you scan. Those were fun once you get the hang of it. The 2 stars is because I bought the 3 museum pass basically for $14 rather than $23 to go to the 3 Astoria museums. The worker even gave me directions to the flavel house next door and the heritage museum 8 blocks away. However when I got to the heritage museum it was closed on Monday's! Why did they sell me tickets for a museum that was closed the day I was there. Will not be going back.
google avatar

Ariella W.

Yelp
We had so much fun at this museum. Cost is $6 per adult, $2 if you are under 17. My husband and stepsons are major goonies fans and were pretty excited that this was open. The film museum is inside the same building they used as the jail in the movie. Its not very big but it was cool place to go if you are a goonies fan. It has some of teh props from the movie, you can see the jail cell and also shoot some of your own short movie clips. We all had a really good time here. They also have a little gift shop there as well if that is your thing. :)
google avatar

Tricia M.

Yelp
Such a wonderful museum experience for any Gponies fan! See where they filmed the jail scene and some memorabilia from the movie. Lots of Instagrammable photo opportunities and a great gift shop. A real find for anyone who loves the Goonies!
google avatar

Alina S.

Yelp
I always wanted to see this place! I'm a die hard Goonie fan so I was ecstatic to finally visit the museum. I didn't mind that it was really small and there wasn't much to see just because I wanted to go just to see the outside. Just be aware the tour will take you about 5-10 minutes because there is very little to see and it's crammed if you go at a busy time.
google avatar

Andy V.

Yelp
This is a really cute museum for anyone who is a fan of the Goonies and films shot on location in Oregon. The film museum is now inside the same building they used as the jail in the movie, "The Goonies" which is cool for any child of the '80s. The museum itself is rather small once you get through the jail and it has other random tid bits regarding films like Twilight and what not. Now, the coolest part of this is you can film yourself in three separate movie scenes. Actually act them out in green screen, record it and have a copy for free to take with you. So my tip: Go with someone. It isn't something fun or really even manageable to do alone. I went to the museum alone on a whim and went into the filming room. I was the only person there so no one could help me. I mean, you're literally going to need someone to operate the camera, and potentially act in the scenes with you. So I made due. But it was really cool in theory. There is a small gift shop full of Goonies goodies which of course I had to get. The staff was nice, the film portion was cool but would have been better if I could have truly taken part in it.
google avatar

Jenn N.

Yelp
A must stop if you're an 80's kid. It's a short walk from the shopping area in downtown Astoria. Throw on some leg warmers, neon, or peg your pants and have some fun! You can reenact scenes and then email them to yourself or share with friends and family. His Mom's favorite piece is even here! Can you find one eyed Willie? Break out of Jake's cell? The photo ops here are abundant. There are other films present but the Goonie vibe is strong. The gift shop is small but is full of fun merchandise. Goonies never say die. Do the truffle shuffle on your way out, before posing with the Fratelli's getaway jeep out front. That's a wrap!
google avatar

Erin J.

Yelp
Such a cute place to visit. Super cheap. If you are a Goonies fan, this is the place for you. View the jail cell from the movie and shoot scenes of your own movies. Really cute place and the employees were so dang nice.
google avatar

Hannah S.

Yelp
This is a must-see for any self-respecting Goonies fan! And if you're visiting Astoria, likely your are a fan lol. It was so fun to see some of the original props and things used in the movie, like Data's outfit with all his gadgets and even One-Eyed Willie and all his rich stuff! I caught a fleeting feeling of being a kid again while I was bouncing around in here lol! The exterior is where they filmed the opening jail break scene! And once you enter, you're immersed in the Goondocks! It was so fun! They also have an area where you can fill out a small note as to why you love the Goonies or what you think makes you a good Goonie and you can add it to the wall! Parking is right across from the Flavel House Museum and also has street parking. The websites don't mention this, but you can get a combined ticket for both museums plus a third one at a small discount so it's worth it! They also have some info and exhibits of other movies filmed in Oregon (there are TONS filmed here!) and you can even make your own little movie at the end! The gift shop has some cool merch - I definitely walked away with more than I anticipated lol! Gotta stop in if you are even a small fan!
google avatar

Justine S.

Yelp
Truthfully, we were going to go and only take a picture of the outside. But we decided to do the tour of the museum. It's six dollars for adults and three dollars for kids. It's a super small museum but you can see a lot of goonies memorabilia. It's also fun to get to learn what movies were filmed within that area. The back part was also cool where you could film yourself in some scenes from certain movies. Would recommend checking it out.
google avatar

Jamie G.

Yelp
A must stop for Goonies fans! Photo opportunities inside and out. $6 admission and a you can film a scene to keep.
google avatar

Amiee M.

Yelp
I thought it was cute. Small and I wish it had more memorabilia, but my group really enjoyed the interactive area when we got to film ourselves. I kind of wish we all had 5 chances of filming since we paid $6 each.... I am a bit up in the air about the cost. I would prefer a package price as a set price for the Flavel museum and the film museum to be $10. Then advertise it with a last entry at 4 pm and closing at 5. Just my opinion.... We did have fun, and as a huge Goonies fan (have been since the '80's!!), I would go back if I was with someone who had never been...
google avatar

Priscilla Y.

Yelp
The Oregon Film Museum is a really small museum basically dedicated to films made in and around Astoria. I knew the Goonies was and it was the main reason I went to check out the museum. The museum is located at an old county jail - the same county jail featured in the opening scene of the Goonies when one of the Fratellis escapes the jail. Out front, you see the same car used in the escape. Inside the museum, you see movie props from the movie as well as random tidbits from other movies made in Astoria, Kindergarten Cop, Ring 2, Free Willy 2, etc. You can also film some scenes for your small movie. There's not a lot going on in the museum, but it does being nostalgia. Drop in if you have the time. There are no bathrooms here. You will need to use the bathroom at the other museum's visitor center.
google avatar

Sharra G.

Yelp
Tiny. I would be curious to see if all actual film memorabilia added up to more than 5 things in the 2 rooms that make up the museum. I can appreciate the thought, but this needs a serious update or reinvention. Hopefully something that would include a bathroom in the future. Just one. The rooms have zero flow, so you have to backtrack past people in narrow aisles. The recording room has no limit to how many folks can cram in to use the 3 possible scene areas. How is the noise and cross audio supposed to work? I was not a fan.
google avatar

Danny B.

Yelp
Lied about hours. Drove from bend to get here. Wouldn't recommend. Guy couldn't have been more rude.

David R.

Yelp
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Worth the $6 per person but it's literally two 12ft hallways with goonies and other cinema memorabilia in 2 jail cells. The best part is the og jeep outside. There is a video room with a green screen to film a scene so if you have kids absolutely worth the experience.
google avatar

Heidi S.

Yelp
I always wanted to stop here and am so glad we did. The wait was long, but the experience was unique. We are Goonies fans so that is what we wanted to see most of. The option to film scenes from movies was fun for our whole group.
google avatar

Mande B.

Yelp
A Goonies lovers dream! The museum does hold items and info from other films, but I was here for The Goonies. It was a jail, so it is small. The gift shop has a nice selection of items reasonably priced.
google avatar

Jenny T.

Yelp
A little disappointed. This is a really small museum and unless you have seen goonies, maybe give it a pass. Was hoping it would have more on the many other movies filmed in Oregon! $6 a person. We were in and out in about 15 minutes.
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Pretty lackluster but at least it didn't cost a lot. We were across the street and decided we might as well drop in because it kind of seemed like their claim to fame. I expected it to be very "Goonies" centric, but there have been several other movies filmed in Oregon. I would expect it to be up to date with every new movie filmed here. There just wasn't much to see at all, maybe a 10 minute walk through. They try to have some game thing but never really explained it to us. They also have a little section to act out scenes. It was such a small space that we couldn't even look too much because there was another could in there. I just kind of chalked it up to we've made our own movies so who cares? I imagine people who don't get to do that might be interested and therefore the setup doesn't work great. Can't say I'd recommend it but if you're looking for basically anything to do it's not too pricy. But seriously, get some more new movie posters at least!
google avatar

Kingsley R.

Yelp
Totally worth it if you are a huge theater geek!! There's fun little photo ops, and you can reenact lots of movies filmed in oregon!!
google avatar

Brian N.

Yelp
Completely underwhelming. A few character cutouts and some movie posters. There's barely anything here. It's mostly for Goonies fans. If you're looking for anything on other films made in Oregon don't even bother. This will take you about 15-20 minutes to walk thru and take a few photos.
google avatar

Justin C.

Yelp
Goonies assemble! Best starting point for fans of the movie before heading out to Set Locations. Their store has the best prices in town on shirts and souvenirs, even the Goonies Monopoly game. I'm over the moon that this remains open for business, you can learn about all the other films made here and nearby too, like Kindergarten Cop, Stand By Me, and Short Circuit. 12/8/20

Yelp
If you're a Goonies fan? This is a must!! Historical building! Bonus! Yes, it's small - but it's not expensive. Idk why anyone would complain it's a great tribute to films made in Oregon! Interactive sets, REAL props from several films & plenty of merch for the Goonies lover! #gooniesforlife

Yelp
I don't understand why anyone gives this place 1 star. It's inexpensive, friendly and helpful staff, interactive and fun. Yes, it's small, but a very fun 15-20 minutes for $6.

Yelp
This is the Oregon Film Museum, but really we only came here to see Goonie memorabilia. The museum building is the jail the Fratelli's escape from in the beginning of the movie. There are a few picture opportunities inside the jail cell. I enjoyed seeing props from the film including data's clothes and the statue of David. There wasn't so much to see, but still a fun place to visit for Goonies fans. Its about 35 minutes away from Haystack Rock. The interactive part of the museum where you can act out scenes from movies didnt make sense to me. There were kids having fun doing it though.

Yelp
I've been here every time I've visited Astoria. It's nostalgic and brings back so many memories. I love that they have original props from movies and a cute little gift shop. You can film parts of movies for fun! Very cheap admission and fun to goof around in. I like they kept some of the jail cells and utilize them for props!

Yelp
Yes, it's small and the jeep isn't there any longer. It's only 2 rooms but if you're a Goonies fan then you have to stop by. I like seeing how close the museum, jail, bowling alley, and Mikey's house are compared to how to movie portrayed them. They have a map of other Goonies locations but the one for Mikey's house is really awkward. It's a "viewing point" but they don't tell you where to look so you don't see anything! I Googled the actual location and drove up there. The dirt road to the house is closed but you can still see it a block away. I heard that the person who bought the house was waiting for it to go up for sale because she loved the Goonies. Now that she owns it, she doesn't want anyone near the house. I'm lost for words.
