Orepuki Beach Cafe

Seafood chowder was delicious and my friends had the Lamb koftas which were a bit spicy. After my travels I needed a large coffee and they did deliver on that. I was amazed that it was so crowded as it seems it is in the middle of nowhere. Go try it. The menu price is a bit on the higher side but that is for the quality of the meals. Sorry didn't take photos of the meals, we were hungry and didn't get permission. Use your imagination 😊

Fabulous!! If you are hungry or looking just to snack this is the place to be. Lovely flat white (x 2).Quiet enough to have a conversation. Indoor and outdoor spaces.

A wonderful find off the highway after spending time on the beach. The dishes are tasty and reminiscent of a country style done with good flavours and perfect seasoning Vegetarian options are limited except for the mushroom risotto which was excellent The atmosphere is lovely, as the building appears to be an old homestead

Amazing little cafe just off the road. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, the food is tasty, hearty and very fair priced. The place has history, character and a great atmosphere and sources a lot of the produce locally, including the lamb. Voted best rural cafe in 2018 and I can totally see why!

You never know where you are going to find great food and great service in a lovely spot. So it was with this place (look to your left, next stop Antarctica lol). Sublimely superb food, beautifully presented and really amazing wait staff. Couldn't fault any of it. But as out of the way as it is, you do need to book - for obvious reasons.

Super cute little coffee shop. We just got a flat tire and we're in need for a sweet little treat, pleasantly surprised by this small town cafe! Just got a muffin and energy drink and the muffin came out looking gorgeous! It was just pantry food and they really went over the top. Wonderful customer service, very warm and welcoming. Definitely stop by.

Boss separated the seafood chowder soup when she known we are sharing… you pay for the right quality and quantity of food… very friendly service once you walk into the restaurant… no rush… perfect serving time for the food… Chef walk out to ensure he cook the right perfect food for us….

Gorgeous cafe, worth the travel out too - even if you are not staying locally. Farm to food menu, and the best lamb curry I've had! Perfect cosy spot, for good food, great coffee & fab service! Can't wait to come back :)

What a place!!! I was driving with friends along the southern of New Zealand and we were hungry. Found this cafe and we looked at each other and said "ah it might not be the best food but let's try it". Guess what!! We were amazed of how delicious their food, not only delicious but the food presentation is equal to fine dining restaurant. Their prices is very reasonable, the cafe is clean and well decorated. The cafe owners are super friendly.
